Grow some thick skin. It’s a game, and this stuff adds character. Imagine a game where you couldn’t hit on hook and t-bag. Boring…

I run it all winter

Sounds like a skill issue.

It’s not new. Been around for awhile. But it only works in certain places and can be countered by looking down. (Atleast for blight)

Hitting a spicy 180 flick on blight is unparalleled.

Well done! I played only one match with him and I already hate him. Same goes for Oni (just can't turn while he is dashing).
This is how it goes for 90% of people who try blight. Nobody picks up blight and starts goin crazy with his rushes.

You could say the same thing about old iri head. Yet it was still overpowered, complained about, and inevitably nerfed.
What? I used/use iri head at a much higher rate. It’s easy to get guaranteed value out of.

No he is not. Blight is the strongest killer and the easiest. Blight is far stronger and way easier than nurse.
Map pressure is a skill you have to learn but Blight get free map pressure by only using double speed add-ons.
Tell me about any other killer that can hook a survivor then immediately check all his generators and go back to the hook all while using 5 rushes. WOW.
Tell me you haven’t played blight without telling me you haven’t played blight.

And the funny thing, SkyBilly was just meme. It did not give any advantage to Billy players. They were doing it for fun and mostly throwing the game.
But hug tech? It gives huge advantage to Blight player but yet, not removed.
It does not give a “huge” advantage as you may think. It’s easy to recognize, and easier to counter.
The only people that think hug tech is overpowered are people that don’t know how to counter blight.
Literally… JUST. LEAVE. THE. TILE. The biggest mistake people make when a blight is going for a hug tech is just standing there waiting.
Want another counter to it? Run wide and guess what… the blight will hug tech right by you. Run wide when they go to flick the corner. It works every single time.
As soon as I see a survivor that knows these counters, I don’t try to hug tech them anymore, because it’s not that strong against good survivors. It’s just fun.

Yes, it is overpowered. It is not hard to get last rush hit for good Blights. Killers like Blight should not have one-hit downs. So this add-on needs to go aswell
This is beyond false. Getting a successful iri tag down is so situational. If you let a blight zone you into the open, ESPECIALLY if you know they have iri tag, then it’s simply a misplay by you. The addon is far from overpowered and is HARDLY used.
-
Imagine complaining about iri tag. Lol
I can probably count on both hands the amount of times I’ve used that addon.
You will hardly ever see it.
-
Guess what, nobody cares.
People can play however they want inside the rules.

only hug tech needs to go if we are talking about basekit
I disagree. Hug tech is also fine. It’s the most fun part of his basekit, but bump logic is superior.

the only reason why people think that base blight is fine is because the think the addons are the problem, in the moment the addons are nerf people will see that blight is too good at everything like nurse
He’s really not. Basekit blight is extremely balanced. Super easy to play around.
-
Blight is top.
Oni, wesker, bubba, billy in close second.
-
You’re joking.. right?
Wesker’s power feels amazing.
-
Definitely need it basekit. Only game without an FOV slider.
Base FOV is terrible.

Dude. The perks were nerfed to oblivion and then some. They are garbage perks now.

Maybe you're not bothered by it personally but when people write phrases like "it's the only thing that makes me tunnel" or "It's to teach them a lesson" comes off as people are bothered by it. I wrote in another reply that what I do is probably not technically "body blocking" anyway.
I meant that in a sense of it giving me all the reason to tunnel. Why wouldn’t I tunnel in that situation? I’d be dumb not to. That’s all I meant by it being the only time I’ll tunnel.

Yes, quite a bit about blight and occasionally wesker
I don't think there can only be chase or information killers though, it can be a mix or something new entirely
I’m not talking about the “nerf blight’s addons” posts. I’m talking about the concept of the chase oriented power.
What about the hate for the kind of killers like SM? It VASTLY overwhelms any type of negative towards all chase killers combined. That isn’t something you can ignore.

Tbh we already have a lot of chase killers
Yes, and everybody loves playing those killers. Do you see any threads about how much people hate the powers of wesker, blight, billy, etc? Chase killers are the most fun and interactive killers to play as and against.
Why do you think there was an absurd amount of hate for knight and the “dull” merchant? They are beyond boring to play.
-
So skull merchant but with an animal rather than drones? Hard hard hard pass from me.
We need a chase killer next.

Doesn't bother me. Sometime I will do it to help a teammate escape.
If you choose to tunnel me after that, I don't take it personally. It's all fun and games. Not sure why me trying to help a teammate would bother someone so much.
Nobody is bothered lol. I don’t care if somebody takes a BT body block or not. I do the same when I’m playing survivor. I’m just saying it’s funny when they get mad because they got tunneled for it.
-
Only thing that will make me tunnel.
BT Body Block = Go back on hook.
It makes me laugh when they go for the body block and I just sit there and wait until they frantically run around realizing I’m just going to wait out the BT.
-
I won’t be surprised if Alch ring and c33 get changed, but I don’t believe any changes to basekit will happen, simply because statistically blight is right around where he should be.
I also do not expect the hug tech to be taken out. Changing collision has proved to be a nightmare process in the past when they have tried to mess with his collision, and blight is in a playable spot with his current collision on most maps. But you shouldn’t be under the impression that removing the hug tech will “nerf” blight. It will just force bump logic, which is stronger anyway.
-
It’s not as easy as “fix the cheating”.
Devs can implement all sorts of barriers to cheat / hack software, and the cheat developers will find a way around it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if these cheat devs have more money and resources from selling software than the gaming companies do.
-
How would this work in indoor maps?

It is big deal and lots of strong killers do bring it. People that don't "need it" for any head issues still take it.
And I am not talking about hiding from killer to not get chased. I am talking about chance to momentarily loose killer mid-chase to avoid hit.
For same reason - allow survivors stretch res so they can see you over walls to negate any mind games. It would certainly feel better and it's the same "not a big deal"...
So the ability to spin the killer? That’s what you’re referring to?
-
That’s what happens with extremely weak pressure. It’s totally possible.

"Yea so blight can be ran around certain loops indefinitely." like his power isn't literally +5 rushes that can be sped up with addons.
That just shows your game knowledge lol.
There are tiles that render blight’s rushes useless. Speed is not going to do anything.

Like if these people don't see why the Nurse is the speed she is I don't even know what to tell them anymore. Blight should get the same speed as Spirit, point blank period. Their powers are insane for chasing, they must be pushed to use it and the fact that Spirit is but Blight isn't is so weird.
Not going to even mention the range killer thing, it should be obvious for them why they're 110. Surprise, if they were 115 nobody would use their power. It's about pushing and forcing to use powers that are meant to work as chasing mechanics. If Blight doesn't get 110 as speed, decrease the amount of rushes he can get + tune down his addons.
Who here doesn’t understand why nurse is slow??? What are you talking about?
You are hard deflecting every point going against you. Ranged killers are 110 because…. THEY ARE RANGED. They can hit over pallets and windows.. How does speed correlate with using their power or not? So huntress that’s made 115 just won’t use hatchets anymore?
Blight is not a ranger killer and can be looped like an m1 killer at many tiles. Blight’s basekit is completely fine. He has 2 addons that need changed and that’s it. 🤷🏻♂️

Bro you can't have a 4.5 nurse lmao, I'm a nurse main for the record. She would be oppressive as hell, hell people ######### when i run the addon that makes her 4.5 after a M2. Huntress and trickster both would be sick as well. Maybe if blood rush wasn't a thing but with blood rush it'd be crazy. Blight def should be at least 4.4 if not on nurses speed.
“If not on nurses speed”
Yea so blight can be ran around certain loops indefinitely.
-
What would be the point of that? You may as well just not run no mither and have guaranteed 2 health states, and then potentially 3 when unhooked.
-
@adaw0ng said:
I'm so glad the Blight main showed up!
I play 110 killers and the reason they feel miserable is because their powers are not chase oriented, therefore you should not chase as them. Blight needs to be 110 because he is chase oriented because of his power alone. I'm sure that his 4000 rushes will keep him alive and he will do just fine, don't worry.
Your user name is literally something that is not supposed to be in the game, said by devs, so you will still be able to exploit that anyways! @HugTechLover
What?…. “Therefore you should not chase as them.” Huntress isn’t chase oriented? Slinger? Trickster? Nurse? Your comment makes ZERO sense.
Blah blah discredit me because I’m a blight main blah blah. Typical.

FoV slider IS A BIG DEAL. A lot of things survivor do depend on killer not seeing them. This would need some considerable buffs on survivor side - especially because this works the best against strongest killers (blight, nurse, oni, ...). Keep FoV the way it is and don't remove survivor's agency any more.
Alternatively add FoV, but don't let it go beyond current max value without perk
It is not that big of a deal. I always see the “bUt sTeAlTh”. Come on…. It does not make THAT much of a difference. It’s 15 degrees.
-
I’m so glad some of you are not devs.
Anything under 115 on killer feels miserable to play as. Don’t advocate for base speed nerfs.
Blight cannot use his power at every loop, and he’s not a ranged killer.

And do you know not everyone are SWF in this game. And i don't like to play with some people i don't know maybe? Not everyone are tryharder in this game.
And do you know you can't decide which solo survivors you will get. I am fine at loops. I can buy some time for my team. But this all out of topic. We are talking about Sloppy started to be problematic perk.
Out of topic? You literally brought all these points up and I responded to it.
Sloppy is not a problematic perk. Altruistic healing is stronger than it ever was. Bring boon, bring we’ll make it, or botany. There are options to counter sloppy if it really bothers you this much.

Oh yes, i really like this mind: Bring perks bro
I am solo
Killers are tunnelling us. Use DS (even it is garbage atm) or OTR (meh perk).
But they are also slugging us. Bring UB bro, it works.
How about campers? Reassurance and Kindred are your answer my pal, i have more good advices for you.
But killers are using these strats for free. They are also bringing perks which helps them. How i will counter them? You also have perks to counter their perks!
But how? I only have 4 perk slots. Which perks i will bring? Counter perks for killer meta perks? Or counter perks for Slugging, Tunnelling and Camping which is free strats for killers?
Dude, it’s a 1v4.
Counter sloppy with a healing perk. It’s not hard.
You know how to counter tunneling, slugging, and camping? Being good in chase. I don’t even mean that in a “git gud” fashion, but legitimately being good in chase hard counters all of those “free tactics”.
Not to mention, SWF is a free tactic to everybody. There are tons of ways to find a SWF. Stop playing solo, find a SWF.
We cannot just nerf every killer perk that brings inconvenience to survivors. “Sloppy gives killers free pressure and I don’t like how long my heal takes” is not a reason to nerf.
-
There are bump logic paths you can use to cut off the window loops on each house.
Feel free to DM me your tag and I’d be happy to help you out.

Interesting. Almost like those same blight mains will be fine with or without the addons. Hmmm… if I don’t need those addons to win…. And they got rid of the addons…. It’s almost like they didn’t do anything to blight in my regards.
Interesting.
