See those totems around the map, cleanse them before all gens are done and that won't happen
5 total totems

Thanatophobia is the worst antiheal perk in the game, its literally just a cosmetic for the progression bar
And without any sort of way for you to say anything behind why you want to make this perk a hex I am gonna assume this is bait.
Thanatophobia has such small numbers that I am pretty sure they add milliseconds to anything they effect.
-
With all the recent changes happening with map sizes, from what people said with them becoming smaller, will the prior killers that had huge map pressure without a build up (Like Hillbillies Chainsaw) see any sort of change to align themselves with the other killers in the roster?
-
I agree, I love facing a mori as it makes me feel like its a whole new threat.
I use mori's as a way to relax, I have to deal with this army of e-days I deal with during the quarantine so its nice to be able to sit down and relax and just, mori some bunnies

Maybe post this in bug reporting instead of general?

Secretly Insidious was a killer, but its stand was Bubba

The issue with Legion was that Feral Frenzy was almost uncounterable and he was the ultimate tunneler. They didn't have to do anything to tunnel someone, just use FF and you will 100% down that survivor. They also removed almost every loop in the game with how fast they vaulted. They also had an extremely strong combo to make the cooldown almost non-existent, the add-ons Cold Dirt and Joey's mixtape which practically made downing in the chase incredibly easy.
The reworked legion is just udder dog #########, if you don't have good perks or add-ons you are going to get slaughtered like a dog. On console its even worse as autoaim is horrid, or the "Aim Dressing"
-
I'm pretty sure devs have even mentioned camping and being camped.
Also if someone gets camped in my SWF we work on gens instead of get 1 other survivor back that is being camped

Original Freddy was way too weak, and this was coming from a Freddy Main from his release as he was weak even on release.
Almost everyone tunneled as him, making him boring as hell to play against, and waking up was so damn easy that his power was almost useless if a survivor just sat on a generator. His reworked form is far stronger with high map pressure and he is strong in the chase with both of his powers.

So, basically bodyblocking them from a position that is not really under your control as well as enduring a cooldown that lets them reach the pallet that spawns on the outside of the wall (or any other tile for that matter).
Im not even going to bother commenting on "Killers who need to get the jump on Survivors".
Like I mentioned near the beginning of this thread, this is a great issue and I am not defending this in anyway
What I mean is that those killers need to be able to push the survivor away from the loop, GF is incredibly good at this as his power makes him harder to track than Plague and Bubba, who have 2 big issues with dealing with this.
Plague with her power removes this loop, which is why you removed her off the list on this, but however this loop seems to only be an infinite when the survivor has made a huge distance between them and the killer, hence why he hit the survivor.
So for example, if Bubba is chasing a survivor here when they both are close, he will be capable of downing them, while if they made distance between each other it becomes a threat, however in the same video he showed that this is able to be blocked off by vaulting the window on a different side, so really all this video showed is that if the killer makes a mistake it can cost them the game.
Due to this being on the PTB, this can be changed in the live build, and don't even try to throw that "Devs won't do anything to the live build from the PTB build" nonsense, DeathSlinger's PTB they changed shacks Breakable wall.

On the contrary, the fact he did not use a power with a normal speed Killer makes it objective. Sure, a Clown or Freddy makes this more tolerable. But what about LF, Legion, Plague (no Corrupt Purge), GF, Myers (with or without T3) and any other future Killer they add with similar limitations (powers that dont down/boost speed)? They have to suck up an infinite due to faulty chase mechanics?
Legion is able to frenzy infront of the survivor and block off the window, preventing the vault
Plague, Bubba, and GhostFace are the ones who need to get the jump on them, he also seemingly had some weird places for the start of them which confused me on why no other location was tested, like further or closer

Looking at a wall doesn’t help me lol I’ll get blinded even if I see nothing but wall as fact I feel if you can’t see them they shouldn’t be able to blind you.
Weird, this has never happened to me ever

No, I dont have any unlocked. I have my sensitivity up at 100 and I still couldn't turn my camera fast enough to get out of the flashlight stun.
Usually if you get blinded at the right time, it won't matter
Which is why you either look at a wall or bait out the savior, but FOV perks can cause what that person was talking about

Does not matter.
I made a thread a while ago about being blinded outside of FOV.
It's not just me. I had 1 match where there was less than a foot between me and the wall and still was blinded because of beams from another dimension. it's trash
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/126494/flashlight-blinds-out-of-fov#latest
Were you using FOV perks?
Cause this wasn't happening to me ever, and I face flashlight alot
-
After rewatching it, he played as a M1 only powerless killer
This is why this loop was an infinite, killers have a power for a reason.
He also messed up this loop a few times by running into walls

What other way? If you watch the whole video, they run it both ways. You cant maintain chase and get the entity to block the window.
I don't remember seeing him go from the other side of the wall, as in chasing the survivor through the pallet to the vault, no matter what this looks like it should be a rust vault or a down by swinging at the vault due to the survivor attempting a fast vault.
You also he was playing Billy here and not using his chainsaw, all the killers have powers that make this vault less safe, Trapper can trap the vault, wraith can speed around the corner, Billy can use his chainsaw to either hit the survivor or make it to the vault to block it, nurse can blink, doc can completely prevent the vault overall, Hag can use her traps here, Legion can Legion, Freddy's snares should cause rust vaults only, Huntress and Deathslinger can cut this loop down easily, Clown causes rust vaults, Oni is a speedy boi and can body block the window or just down the survivor, Michael can just tier 3 and have faster vaults and a longer lunge.
The only killer that would have an issue at this vault is Bubba, as his power doesn't help him here at all.
Like none of you guys noticed in my original message, I said "but this is a great issue that the chase ends at this loop now".
Rust Vaults are the same as Medium vaults or fast vaults but slow and loud.

Couldn't look at the wall because I couldn't turn fast enough to get to it. Will take into account baiting, thanks.
Uhhh, what?
I said look at a wall as in "pick up the survivor while looking at a wall"
-
Bait the survivor to attempt to go for the flashlight save, or just look at a wall
-
I haven't played the PTB, but you can easily prevent this by going the other way (I think I don't know)
but this is a great issue that the chase ends at this loop now
-
Its just because Bayushki Bayu is surprisingly catchy (Yes I know this is a joke)
Its like how Freddy's lullaby is always stuck in my damn head, even when I escape and am no longer in the lobby.
-
Nope on selfcare- This can create some pretty bad situations with this perk, as the reason why its a perk is because then you cant do 4 healing perks in your loadout and be able to heal yourself
Urban Evasion would an indirect nerf to Hag, so its best to keep this as a perk as well
-
Here is Detectives Hunch and Small Game, go look for the totem
-
@MojoTheFabulous I would like a cosmetic version of old bill but, with me being a Bill main as L4D was the first game I ever played with my brothers that I actually liked the remade Bill head shows possibilities of cosmetics coming for Bill, and shows that BHVR can give other characters face lifts

Insta heals did not get buffed, they're no longer "Insta Heals".. and healing speeds got increased to counter the fact that instas got nerfed and green med kits got nerfed.
Sabotage speeds got increased but no one is going to waste a toolbox to be able to insta sabo hooks that respawn 20 seconds later. Hooks spawn way to close and make saboing completely useless.
Balanced Landing - No sound when falling? Thats great except for the fact that you're usually in a chase when you fall anyway.. and it doesnt even come close to making up for the stagger reduction nerf.
Lery's - They removed almost all looping windows making the remaining window vaults are now completely useless and the totem spots are hidden in ridiculous areas.
Addons - We have 4 times the amount of addons that killers do and have a hard time escaping matches as it is.. We shouldn't need to run a perk just for a "slim" chance of actually keeping our add-ons.
Wiggle Progression - Again a 7% reduction in progression is massive when no one is sabotaging hooks and killers want to slug. Flip Flop is also a perk that literally no one uses because hooks spawn so close together. The only time Flip Flop/Unbreakable worked was when you could 99% a Hook in a corner, sabo it and run into the corner before a killer could down you.
Toolboxes - A fully decked out toolbox with a brand new part can only get a generator to 50% now, when old ones use to be able to complete 2 full generators when working with a teammate. Now, an entire toolbox can be completely wasted if a killer chases you off and hits the gen with PGTW.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, where I completely destroy all of your Killer Minded points. But alas, you killer mains are always right, no matter what happens. You'll always be the victims, you'll always be underpowered, and you'll always tell survivors to "git gud" when you guys are the ones complaining about us needing to be nerfed over and over and over.
You know, its cute when you call someone who is a SURVIVOR MAIN a killer main, because it makes the argument even funnier and shows how entitled you really are
InstaHeal's were an issue because you could extend the chase for really long, like way too long without any skill behind it whatsoever or counter, unless the measly "run franklins demis" is said
And hook spawns are RNG, not always 2 feet together
I have saved my ass more times using new Balanced Landing than old balanced landing
Lerys still has incredibly strong loops, just not as strong as they once were
You just proved my point with the add-ons discussion here, they have MORE add-ons than killers so it makes it so much easier to get those back from the Bloodweb
Wiggle Progression I will repeat myself as it was nerfed to 25% because of buffing slugging, USE BLOODY UNBREAKABLE
and Toolboxes got nerfed because of how fast a gen could progress
and before you say "Killer main pulling out excuses to make me believe he is a survivor main", here is proof that I have all survivor perks on Bill and am rank 3
6 pages of perks, total amount of perks are worth 6 pages

I agree I'm loving the sound of these changes. I think it's good that the cornfield maps are seeing changes, though personally I hope they don't decrease the size of the corn, I think stealth is something that shouldn't be nerfed for survivors. Having it's size reduced and the loops looked at is all that the Cornfield maps need in my opinion.
I am fine with the corn still being on the map, but it would be nice to have shorter corn that is slightly taller than the survivors crouch

I most likely will because the Devs are constantly catering to killers. Survivors have received nothing but nerfs for the last 6 months and yet Killers just continue to tell us to stop crying.. to "git good".. "survivors still to OP!". Tell us.. when is it going to be good enough? When you can down us in under 20 seconds? When you only need 1 hook instead of 3? When all of the pallets and windows are removed from the game? When we lose our ability to run? When the Devs give you the ability to see us anywhere on the map permanently?
Survivor Nerfs
Patch 3.3.1 - Insta Heals nerfed, Green Medkit charges nerfed from 24 to 16 charges.
Patch 3.4.0 - Balance Landing Nerfed to remove staggert reduction while exhausted.
Patch 3.5.0/3.5.2 - Lery's Rework (Survivor Nerf to hide totems, remove windows and add more unsafe pallet)
February 10 - Disconnect Penalties - Forces Survivors to have to play through matches, no matter how toxic the killer wants to be.
Patch 3.6.0 - Survivor Nerfs
1) Survivors can no longer sabotage Bear Traps
2) Dropped survivor wiggle progression reduced from 33% to 25%
3) Toolboxes Nerfed
4) Saboteur nerfed (cooldown added) & Hooks respawn faster
5) Addons nerfed to disappear at the end of each match
6) Autohaven Wreckers: Fixed an issue that allowed Survivors to use Dead Hard to get onto tires near a crane (Yet killers can still do it with Lunge)z
7) Breakable Walls added
Dev Update April 2020 - Survivor Nerf - Reduced repair speeds when working with other survivors, maps reworked to prevent survivors from being able to actually escape from a killer.
You skipped the killer nerfs
Nurse is now extremely stressful
Ruin is literally not useful on 110% killers
Legion has been dead for over a year now, still is pretty bad
Clown got shadow nerfed and still never buffed (This is talking about the medium vault change some time ago)
Some of the nerfs you mentioned are actually buffs too
"Patch 3.3.1 - Insta Heals nerfed, Green Medkit charges nerfed from 24 to 16 charges."
The instaheals got buffed, Syptic can now tank 1 hit, and syringe can be used with skill to get working on a generator and heal. If I am correct that medkit got a speed increase to healing others correct?
"Patch 3.4.0 - Balance Landing Nerfed to remove staggert reduction while exhausted."
They added that while you are not exhausted, you make no sound of falling, or that yell you usually hear when falling.
"Patch 3.5.0/3.5.2 - Lery's Rework (Survivor Nerf to hide totems, remove windows and add more unsafe pallet)"
That map is darker, not all totems were even hidden, they removed long loop windows, and added some really safe pallets
"February 10 - Disconnect Penalties - Forces Survivors to have to play through matches, no matter how toxic the killer wants to be."
Killers have to do the same thing to survivors :/
"1) Survivors can no longer sabotage Bear Traps"
Yeah, making trapper have a missing bear trap for...5 minutes I think it was? (Correct me if I am wrong) made him lose his power overall.
"2) Dropped survivor wiggle progression reduced from 33% to 25%"
Oh man, I wonder what perks can be good here...flip flop and unbreakable. This was also along with the Sabo buff that made you sabo hooks really REALLY fast.
"3) Toolboxes Nerfed"
They are faster actually, use them smartly and you can get to 1 gen remaining with toolboxes you can pump a gen out really fast....also BNP.
"4) Saboteur nerfed (cooldown added) & Hooks respawn faster"
And yet again, extremely fast sabo speed
"5) Addons nerfed to disappear at the end of each match"
A perk exists for survivor that allows you to keep add-ons
"6) Autohaven Wreckers: Fixed an issue that allowed Survivors to use Dead Hard to get onto tires near a crane (Yet killers can still do it with Lunge)"
This prevents holding the game hostage
"7) Breakable Walls added"
Breakable walls were added next to long loops, and distract the killer for some time
"Dev Update April 2020 - Survivor Nerf - Reduced repair speeds when working with other survivors, maps reworked to prevent survivors from being able to actually escape from a killer."
You get more generators done when all survivors are on different generators than working with others, and do you have any idea how small the maps are, cause I don't think the PTB released yet
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

I can answer this
Killers bring up keys when mori's are mentioned as they do the same thing almost
Mori's deliver HUGE pressure, Key's take away HUGE pressure by having 1-4 survivors escaping through hatch
Both equally powerful, simple changes can be done to them to make them still useful
Ebony Mori- All survivors must be hooked once before you can mori any survivor
Ivory-Same as before
Cypress-Base kit
Keys- give a process to opening hatch, sort of like working on an exit gate. It being instant can make the killer only watch as the survivor gets out without punishment
Simple balance changes to make both weaker, while making them useful still. People have mentioned the 2 hook idea for Mori's but then they will become almost useless as its safer to just hook the survivor for the sacrifice.
-
Oh boy, this is hilarious
Decisive is literally a meta perk, MoM got nerfed because you literally had to be a potato for it to work, toolboxes definitely got buffed, you just need to use them strategically. Hell Medkits got a buff, syptic is literally the best add-on and syringes help you heal while doing other actions. The nerfs that happened in the Dev Update are not even a bad thing, survivors are still strong, but the killers are getting buffs too as they were weak.
While on the topic of DS, waiting out the timer hurts killers more than helps so pretty much DS is doing its job
