No it isn't worth your time and neither are most killers in this game.

There's a discord devoted to Hag?
Yep
-
If you willing to learn how to play Hag, someone at the Haggers den discord will be happy to help you.

D TIER INTENSIFIES

This guy seriously wants a weak, buggy killer nerfed....... LMAO

Claudette and Ghostface.

Why play Clown when Freddy exists? Clown needs much stronger slowdown or built in map pressure.
Freddy's a boring, brainlet killer.

Yeah........ no
Oni is a ######### Billy and easy to counter (running round a corner), waste of money.

I picked him up the other day, and am really liking him. Does anybody have tips or info I need to know?
Play Hillbilly.
-
Survivor:
Overrated: Self care, ######### whoever brings this time waster!
Underrated: We'll make it, this perk should be used over Self Care all the time. Fast heals that ruin Tru3face and Wriath are always fun as survivor.
Killer:
Overrated: Ruin, theirs better perks to slow the game now and it can be cleansed in the first 15 seconds of the match.
Underrated: Whispers, makes the map easier to patrol and great to plan ambushes as stealth killers.
-
Stranger Things:
Pros: Fun, decent, iconic killer, two iconic survivors, great survivor perks that are useful but not broken, new map with some great Stranger Things easter eggs.
Cons: Bad killer perks, map can be hard for survivors (especially new survivors) due to how the pallets are designed, ard to patrol gens as killer.
Cursed Legacy:
Pros:
Aesthetically well designed, original killer, beautiful looking map.
Cons: Killer is mediocre, killer and survivor perks are mediocre to garbage, map is garbage as killer.
Conclusion: Stranger Things is a much better chapter than Cursed Legacy.

Hag isn't popular and many people who play her are bad anyway. If she was more popular then she'd have highest kill rate in the game.

Hag is super easy and probably one of the best killers in the game, her kill rate being a statistical outlier proves this. Lay trap, get a free hit, and she camps harder than nearly anyone else in the game. "Mindgames" at pallets involve slapping down a trap and then just porting to it after you run them into it, or they mindgame themselves.
"Hag is super easy", said no one who's put time into Hag.
-
Hag is harder than solo survivor and I play both.
-
"How dare you, I should be fixing gens and tea bagging at the gate!"
-
Kate, no doubt.
-
Devs: *Don't fix the unbalanced objective between killers and survivors at base. Create bandaid fixes to fix their broken game*
Also Devs: *Nerf bandaid fixes into the ground because it has "No cOuNTeRplAy". Still hasn't fixed the base game after three years and continue the same cycle of mistakes and bad decisions*
Pretty good job so far.....

With a new updated title so it's not threatening to the in game props! (I know you mods have a rulebook to follow it's just funny imo)
You know those baby face creeps that seem to always be looking at you? Hey! They keep turning when I'm not looking! Stop that! How am I supposed to focus on beating survivors with a cleaver when I'm constantly getting jumpscared? I'm the victim here. New map is survivor sided. Nerf the ######### fidget spinner baby face heads.
I guess you won't be happy if this gets into the game.
-
Agreed, I see so many ######### killers chase one survivor for ages and when all the gens are done, said survivor gets punished by NOED for nothing. DS does last too long though. Myself and many other good killer players get hit by it even when we chased and hooked another survivor. All the crutches (on both sides) need to be gone for the health of the game.

Good ideas. Although nerfing dead hard might not be necessary.
It is in Trappers case.

I mean with current Urban with Blendette, that's not too good for Hag, whereas these Blendette can accidentally step in the Trapper's traps if placed right. And also flashlight negate traps too.
Against bad Hag's yes. Experienced Hag mains won't play predictably so have fun finding them. Trappers traps are easy to see without tar bottle, so only crap survivors will step in his traps outside of chase. Both these killers make the map dangerous to mindlessly run around but Hag does it much better. Trapper is also buggy to the point you can walk right over the traps. I main both of these killers and both are fun to play but Trapper needs desperate buffs to be viable.
-
@pichumudkip said:
I say Trapper is better due to how Urban is rn. If it ever gets nerfed, then Hag would be better.
Also Trapper gets bonus points for being able to injure survivors regardless if they step or disarm traps (I think it's the pink stone add on that injures survivors who disarm traps?)
"Muh Urban Evasion destroys Hag..." yes crouch around the whole the match, making the Hags job alot easier.

Sounds are so bugged, wraith's lunge bug, billy phantom chainsaw hit bug, new map is as dark as my underarm, freddy and huntress hitboxes, laggy servers, genrush is real, eating a DS after you hooked another survivor, totems being placed 2 meters away from a generator, 90% of perks not being viable at red ranks, 10 minute queue-time for survivors, insane toxicity in the end game chat that doesn't get punished, DC to give hatch, last second switch, moris and keys... And so on.
I personally really like this game, that's why I have 1600 hours on it. I want it to improve and to become better and funnier. But seeing how many bad things this game still has frustrates me.
DbD needs a serious focus on the game's health aspect.
I want to know what you guys think..
This whole game needs a rework.
-
Hag is miles better than Trapper and in my opinion the best killer in the game after Nurse nerfs. Her traps have so many functions and they do all of them very well:
1) Gap closing
2) Mind games
3) Chase multiple survivors at a time
4) mess up survivors movements with the camera flick
5) Snowball and turn the game completely in your favour
etc.

As you already know alot of console players have been complaining that Oni's flick on console is impossible. This is completely false and it's fairly simple to do with practise.
When flicking during Demon dash, move the analog sticks in the opposite directions during the hit to flick towards the survivor. So for example (if the survivor is on the right, move the right stick to the right and the left stick to the left)
That's all you have to do, so get practising and have fun smashing those pests. :)
To those who say you can't flick on console.

@Seltas0208 said:
Reason being people will complain if oni gets his mobility buffed because while on console it'd make him better to play it could make him way to strong on PC.
Likewise if a nerf to fov happens it'll affect console worse etc
Why would they nerf the fov, it's already crap?

I've seen a lot of Oni play, personally don't own him but I've seen Demon strike hit more than miss by a significant margin. Of course this might vary but I watch Scott and Otz a lot and they don't have a problem landing the Demon strike.
Exactly, you don't even own the character and yet you're complaining that he's too oppressive. Those survivors in Scott's video didn't even try to juke most of the time. Scott also wants the game to be balanced around the average player. The type of people that can't even do gens optimally and waste time self caring against anti heal Ghostface.
I'm not saying Scott is a bad killer (far from it) but those survivors were pretty rubbish.

You can loop an M1 killer for quite some time but most of the time a hit is bound to happen within the first minute of the match, also bloodlust exists to ensure a hit even if it does take 45 seconds. I don't agree with demon strike being clunky, on console sure but on PC his demon strike is incredibly deadly, especially paired with his dash, allowing quick 180 degree hits. He his map dependent like all killers are but less so than Myers and Billy. He doesn't get destroyed by maps like either of them do.
You can flick the hit on console, which I made post on how to do it. Demon strike outside of the dash is clunky on every platform, as you can see by playing Oni or watching PC streamers.
-
Oni is an M1/R2 killer with no ability at the start of the match. If you can't loop a killer who is huge and very loud then I don't know what to say. Most loops in the game are safe and make it easy to waste the killers time. His power is also map dependent like Huntress and demon strike is a clunky mess that is easy to dodge by simply juking left or right. Myers biggest problem now is spine chill because it ######### over his tier 1.
-
A full flick is 90 degrees since it was nerfed after the PTB.

1v4, killer is supposed to stronger than individual survivors. It's the core of an asymetric survival horror game. Most of the problems with this game stem from the "gen rush" issue. The survivors main objective (gens) is boring and too easy. Once that and the map designs are fixed then the devs can hopefully, balance the game properly.

Identity V actually has this.. On the character Acrobat.
The Acrobat carries 3 different types of Bomb around. When a Bomb explodes, it will temporarily change the ground's surface, creating a circular zone. Hunters stepping into this zone during the Aftereffect period will be affected by its effects, and thus returning the ground immediately to its original state.
Sticky Bomb: Slightly reduces Hunter's Movement Speed. If the Hunter is hit by the exploding Sticky Bomb or if the Hunter is repeatedly affected by its Aftereffects, the Hunter's Movement Speed will be greatly reduced.
Nitro Bomb: Slightly reduces Hunter's Interaction Speed. If the Hunter is hit by the exploding Nitro Bomb or if the Hunter is repeatedly affected by its Aftereffects, the Hunter's Interaction Speed will be greatly reduced.
Fire Bomb: It can burn Hunters and disable all Hunter skills for a period of time. If the Hunter is hit by the exploding Fire Bomb or if the Hunter is repeatedly affected by its Aftereffects, all Hunter skills will be disabled for an extended period.
How to use: Tap on the Skill button to leap forward and throw a Bomb. Hold the Skill button to charge and choose a landing area. However, encountering objects while leaping will cause the Acrobat to fall immediately.
(also these abilities come with drawbacks, like can't use them often or only X amount of times during a game etc). I could see something like this get tweaked and put into a survivor perk. Would need to have some counter or drawback. (What if survivor slowed killer, but later on survivor got slowed or something. couldn't vault/drop pallets...) shrug It's hard to picture it in DBD, in the current state. But it does work in the other game.
Identity V is extremely survivor sided with broken abilities and every map is worse than Haddonfun.

Shape usually has to slowly stalk to reach that level and then activate it at the right time not always on demand. Not like the Oni, just follow any wounded survivor closely around the map, lapping up blood until their power is charged then hold it and use it whenever they feel like it.
If you do that all game then your just gonna get gen rushed from wasting time collecting blood instead of changing to healthy survivors.

how is it possible that Yui, a three day old survivor in the fog realm (three days in terms of chapter release, not age) has 30 cosmetics; while Adam Francis, a survivor who has been in the game for about an ENTIRE YEAR, only has 26?
Now I'm not an expert, but that seems kinda off.
Please give Adam some cosmetics this mid chapter patch, I beg you
Sincerely, an Adam Francis main since the drop of the shattered bloodline chapter.
People main Adam? ;)

Has anybody confirmed the exact length of max time it has to be charged for maximum distance (and even what that max distance is)?

PC or console?
I know Oni's controls are really bad on console but on PC he is easy to control.
I already know how to do demon dash flick hits on console. It's the regular demon strike that's the problem. It's horrible when trying to do charged hits.

Yeah, I would only suggest charging it when you know they are going to vault a window/pallet or in a long straightaway like the hallways in Hawkins. Give it some time to get used to it, he just came out a few days ago. Give it some time and you'll get better eventually :)
Thank you for the help. :)
-
@Spooky13 said:
Here's a tip: Instead of charging it all the way, you could hold it for half a second if they are right in front of you. This prevents you from doing a simple M1 and doesn't give them much of an opportunity to dodge it.
Sometimes you have to charge it to stop them from getting to a pallet or a window (since charging it increases the attack range). I appreciate the tip but I just wish it wasn't so clunky to use, it's my only gripe with him at the moment.
-
@Carpemortum said:
Well, if it was too hard to dodge, it would be free insta downs and survivors would riot...
It has to have SOME drawback or skill requirement if it one downs people...
In that case should Shapes tier 3 lunge be clunky since it insta downs and has increased range?
