A survivor who plays killer from time to time will notice when the killer gets cucked. Only true survivor-mains would not recognise this. I myself notice it when the killer is swinging in my direction and then hits some random bush or rock out of the blue.
All those poor demos whose shred should’ve hit me...

I personally no longer care because I've been playing since day 1 and no longer need to BP grind.
However for people trying to grind ranks, grind BP or who want a more casual game where a group of SWF could add a huge sway in the match, they might want to dodge.
While comms is not cheating it does grant the team a massive advantage during the match being able to communicate so much information instantly and essentially giving your whole team a load of perks for free. Because DBD was not created with SWF in mind many of the games mechanics/perks/killer powers can be circumvented (to an extent or entirely) with the use of comms.
I also do not wish to see SWF leave the game because there are many teams who simply play survivor casually for fun too. However even the casual SWF teams still hold an advantage over a group of solos most of the time.
At the end of the day until they can figure out how to balance the disparity of solo vs SWF (and adjust killers accordingly) there will always be this annoyance with facing SWF groups.
I still gotta upgrade Plague, demo and ghostface so I can get their perks on LF, still don’t dodge and didn’t ever dodge.
I sometimes put Franklin’s in my build when I notice but that’s it.

Really? I am a rank 1 Nurse and I consistently come across red rank survivors who try to use pallets on me. Survivors are terrible against her, there’s no other way to say it.
Back when I mained Nurse, people actually tried to avoid LOS

OoO works at fun potential only in swf and against bad tier killer, against a nurse you only get found instantly, which is nurse's weakness, iron will is a decent perk just to slightly counter spirit, and is a stealth perk to only waste killers seconds. Adrenaline pushes the meta to gen rush, so half the games gets activated, and most of the times I'm actually in a chase.
I’ve actually used iron will to make myself less predictable at loops against every killer and it is really helpful against nurse and spirit.
-
You haven’t uncovered my full face collection. :P

What? Tell me another perk that works in multiple situations (other than dead hard, which is obviously the best perk), that heals you, gives you a speed boost, is an instant unbreakable, overpass exhaustion...
Adrenaline only does that after the fifth gen pops and usually you aren’t even being chased when it activates, Iron Will or OoO are better.
-
It is a bit overrated tbh, other perks are better.

Of course they say that. They don't play against it, at least not as regularly as we do. The salt has yet to seep in.
Not every dev is in low ranks.

I’d say tremors, corrupt Intervention is mainly good on trapping killers.

Exactly! I read them when I was thirty and still enjoyed them! They were well.written. If you liked them, you might like the twilight books.
A student of mine recommended Harry Potter to me when I was 32...I was adamantly opposed and finally gave in. I was really amazed at how the books were intended to grow with the reader (first one is very kiddy...then gradually become more mature). If you liked hunger games you might also like Harry Potter. I know how it sounds but by the time you reach the end, you might be surprised. The movies do not begin to compare to the books.
I liked the Harry Potter books but hated the movies

I personally don’t wanna play vs cheaters with voice chat which can be considered as 5th perk slot.
Peanits has confirmed that voice comms aren’t cheating.

lol you might! But you're probably more intelligent than the movie's target audience. The books weren't terrible, though, just not quite as well written as some of the other big young adult series. Even the hunger games was written well where it really felt like you were seeing these things through the eyes of a 16-year-old....not a middle aged author's IDEA of what a 16-year-old might think.
ANnyway, give em a watch! Everyone has their own opinion (my wife loves them)...but don't blame me when you want to stab your eyeballs out!
I loved the hunger games, books and movies! I felt like I was in that arena while reading the book.
-
Why dodge them anyway? I’ve never dodged swf.

so much money spent to make such terrible movies. So terribly terrible in just about every way. The books were mediocre tennage/adolescent novels and not terribly written (Not as good or well written as Harry Potter series) but the movies were blech
I wish Riff Trax would do the twilight series. I'd pay double what I paid in theaters to see that.
I’m a tennager! :O I might like it!😂

@GrootDude Tubi is a streaming channel like Netflix, Hulu, et cetera. Last I checked, Tubi had Highlander: The Series (as of a month ago, anyway). Tubi is free. No subscription fee like Netflix.
Never heard of it until now, thanks.

I don’t think it’s too bad tbh
-
@Kilmeran said:
@GrootDude It hasn't been on Netflix for a while. Hulu did have it for almost two years, but it left there months ago. I think Tubi is running Highlander: The series right now.
The first two seasons were a bit weak, in my opinion. It really started to shine in Season 3. And despite my earlier post, that had absolutely zero to do with me working on it. That just happened to be the season where Adrian Paul, Jim Byrnes, and other main actors were finally allowed to have creative input into their characters, and started putting pieces of themselves into them. And that was when the show really started to shine.
I don’t know any of those people xD sucks that it isn’t on Netflix anymore.

The movies are really long but the story is really pretty cool...and at the time unique (until Twilight sort of copied it). Some things might seem cliche now but they were new at the time lol.
Good thing I’ve never watched twilight lol

highlander is great. Both the series and movies, but if you're younger you will have to get over the BAAAAD special effects (well, not bad, just dated). It's a sci fi classic and the theme song....AMAZING!!!
I don’t mind out-dated special effects, if it’s on Netflix I might try it.
-
@Kilmeran said:
@GrootDude Oh yeah, I forgot Netflix had it.
To be honest, I didn't watch a lot of Hercules and Xena. At that point in my life, I was actually working on Highlander: The Series, which ran from 1992-1997, so was busy. I worked on Seasons 3, 4, and 5.
I haven’t heard of that, I don’t watch much tv anymore, I only have one show I watch and I’m waiting on more seasons.
-
@Kilmeran said:
@Attackfrog Yep, without a doubt. I'm 47, so I was in my 20's when Xena and Hercules first ran. And she was way hotter in Ash vs Evil Dead.
I’ve watched Hercules and Xena in full. :) I was probably twelve or thirteen when I watched it, they put it on Netflix for teens like me to watch. :D

there is more unfairness for killers then challenge
I play both sides at red ranks and the only “unfair” thing I notice is latency and phantom hits. Anything else is just extra challenge.
-
I haven’t had people dc against me much tbh.

because that's psychology and human nature
the second many survivor players see a challenge they cry for nerfs
you'll see this with the release of every new killer, constant tears that they're OP and need nerfs before they realize they can just loop them
survivors just fundamentally don't want a challenge, they want to bully
deny this all you wan't but it is ultimately true and you know it
It isn’t one side complaining, it is people, people complain. People complain about spirit, nurse, gen times, loops, DS,BT,OoO,moris,insta-heals,hillbilly,iri head, prayer beads, omega blink, bnp, Blendette and keys.
All of these things present a challenge and people complain about them.

Trapper should start with all traps in his hand and can carry an uncapped amount (the total amount is the amount of traps that were supposed to previously spawn on the floor. so there is no need for a cap).
The add-ons that increase traps and the maximum traps carried only increased traps because the max is uncapped.

I have gone against Spirits with my perks and won, not always but enough. That's why Spine Chill is always on one of my perk slots. Nea main when I play surv, Huntress main(mostly) so don't accuse me of bias cause you have no argument :)
Plus anyone with half a brain cell knows you can't loop Spirit lmao
You can loop spirit, her phase has a cooldown.
