I don’t necessarily want anything nerfed but as Sairek said, you’re usually met with “git gud”.

Not every killer can go from a hatchet hit to the M1 with little to no cooldown so no not every killer can down a survivor faster then huntress...
Hillbilly can down a survivor before as soon as a chase starts, are you actually trying to argue that huntress is stronger than Nurse/Spirit? If so then that is completely wrong.
Huntress is also very loopable at a lot of loops.

Yeah? And how do you know that the huntress has BBQ for sure until after the fact that she possibly hits you?.... BBQ has many many counters to it actually... the fact still stands that bad ass huntress can end a chase faster then a nurse can actually....
Following that same logic, any bad killer can end a chase faster than nurse but up against good survivors a nurse will more often than not end a chase faster than huntress, also the majority of killers run bbq, you should be predicting it, so yes, it I still your fault.

Not at all the same? Even though the 3 are skill based?..... you go against a good huntress and she'll snipe you using BBQ from across the map, if you go against a bad huntress she wont hit the broad side of the barn.... if you go against a good spirit she'll make any safe loop unsafe (which is exactly how its supposed to be and why I play her) if you go against a bad spirit she'll phasewalk in the opposite direction of you everytime.... I see no difference here on how skill works...
You do still have some time to react to a huntress sniping you and BBQ&C is countered by lockers.

What about that counter, when you can see her while she is moving the grass/corn? Is this bugged or intentional?
She doesn’t move grass/corn, @thesuicidefox proved this.

Well she still has a more counters than nurse. At least you can stun spirit during the duration of power.
She does have more counters than Nurse, I’ll give you that. Although, I prefer facing Nurse.

She has the counters. Even the @Peanits said that.
Strong windows and guessing at pallets, that is her counter play, you can try other things but any other counter than the first two kinda depends on the player, also I never said she had no counter play.

Not saying I don’t, just saying that spirit doesn’t actually have much counter play. I’m ok with that though.

I don’t see dcs as much as people say and of course you’ll see more survivors dc than killers since we have four survivors and one killer.

So it's the samething as going against a huntress, nurse (these 2 mainly) or really any killer actually..... skill matters....... hmmm interesting...
Not at all the same for huntress or most killers, nurse and spirit are both alike in this, if they can track then you’ll have to go to a strong window or pallet and hope you guess right, with nurse you have to pray that the map has LOS blockers, the survivors skill doesn’t mean much against a spirit since you have a 50/50 chance of guessing right, unless you can tell me how to track a invisible lady that I cannot hear.

NO NO NOOthe narrative is that "there is no counter play" so she gets the legion treatment because screw enforcing new play styles and keeping the game full with circling pallets!.... gosh you actually think logic and thought should be in this game!? Seesh.
You can’t see Spirit so you have to guess where she is, I’m not saying nerf spirit but her “counterplay” is not set in stone, it doesn’t work on every spirit, her counterplay depends on the player unless you bring strong windows into the mix.
-
“Almost all streamers who play DBD use ruin, because it's needed too even have a chance of winning.”
I guess this is why people use self-care @BunnyTheHutt? I’m not currently in red ranks but I was before reset, before that reset and before that reset, ruin isn’t needed, it helps but it is very far from ‘needed’.

How do they have to try? There's a bag full of tools they can use to smash a killer into the ground. 4 man SWF with, say, 3 toolboxes and a key, all with DS and Adrenaline will destroy any non-viable killer if they're good enough.
I know what I'm doing when I'm not sleepy AF, I know my mindgames when I'm ready, but those mindgames only get you so far when they have tools to destroy you.
As for what you said about 3 gen strats, it's so easy to not let a killer 3 gen you. On bigger maps, those 3 gens will be even more split than on smaller like new Badham and the game. If a survivor decides to do 1 of those 3 gens, the other survivors can just do the other. If they see through your plan, you're through as well.
Franklin’s Demise counters those items pretty easily and actually gives you pressure, I always just play normally against swf, Almo has actually said that their stats prove that swf isn’t a huge advantage.
You can actually force a three gen strat as killer and it can work as long as your chases are short, you slug people and keep a constant patrol. You won’t always win though and that’s just how it is, a 2k is still very possible with “non-viable killers”.

If you play both roles you aren't something something main. You understand the game better.
I play both roles but I’m not a 50/50 player, I main survivor because I play survivor more although I plan on playing killer more once I get my ps + back.

@Peanits said:
We'd have to be talking about the great skill check success zone, since that's the one that really matters. Hitting a good skill check is easy but still gives a huge amount of regression (as well as pausing progression for a few seconds). You can make the good skill check zone massive and it wouldn't change anything as long as the great skill check zone is tiny.
But then there's a different issue: The great success zone is already incredibly small. You can't get much smaller before it just stops existing.
At its core, it's a perk that relies on the survivors messing up skill checks. If you're going against good survivors, I would just recommend running a perk that doesn't rely on them messing up.
Which is why more people should join team PGTW. :D

"LUL DUDE JUST PRESSURE GENS U NEED MORE PRESSURE"
Yes, let me pressure a giant map like red forest, coldwind, haddonfield etc. as a killer without map pressure. People who say this sort of stuff are so dense and ignorant, and the worst part is, devs listen to this and do nothing about gens.
Also let me ask you this, why must killers always tryhard and sweat about pressuring gens, while survivors can mess around EVERY game they play? Why can't killers mess around and still get 4k's? Oh wait, because if you do, gens will fly by.
And those survivors will die if the killer knows what they’re doing. Just because you can’t pressure gens doesn’t make people ignorant or dense, on big maps you have to choose 3-4 gens close by to properly pressure them. But sure, keep living under the false statement of “survivors don’t even have to try” those survivors will easily get stomped.
-
Give me a sticker! I voted for LF. :)

On that map you have to pick a side to defend otherwise you will fail, he just needed to pressure the gens on his side.

XDDD at least we go off data not anecdotal nonsense
I see this kinda argument pop up a lot and I just have to say, it isn’t true. Whenever we say gens times are fine we look at how the weakest killer in the game on the worst killer map can still keep a 2k average, which is a balanced game. When we said nurse was op we based it on her 76% kill rate at R1, we follow the stats and make out decisions.

I don't believe that's true. @GrootDude and I, though we may disagree, respectfully argue with eachother. We have mutual respect, I respect his views and he mine, though we try to make the other see our side. That is a civil discussion. Namecalling, bitter arguing and the cussing out of others is not.
Precisely this, as long as the people discussing are respectful a discussion can stay civil.

I'd argue Freddy as well, he can always place down snares and pallets. However, other than Killers on Haddonfield in general, Huntress suffers the most from map design. Higher loops absolutely cripple her.
I actually forgot to list Freddy, she is definitely the most hurt but I think she is still viable.

Huntress could do with some QoL changes and Hag coulf use her base range extended. I still think Freddy should have his teleport at the start of the match but oh well. Also, Huntress is VERY map reliant.
Most killers are map reliant to an extent, for instance, as LF you’re going to have a much harder time on Lery’s, Billy can’t chainsaw patrol as easily on The Game or Lery’s, Stealth killers need maps with LOS blockers, Nurse is going to have a harder time on Lery’s and the Corn maps to an extent, most M1 killers struggle on Haddonfield and The Game.
I’d say Trapper, Hag and Spirit are the only non-map reliant killers.

This is bs... survivors can do plenty to confuse, manipulate the spirit while she is phasing.... just today I simply ran in a big circle just to try something random and it worked!!... man what thinking outside the box does for ya... rather then just vault the window, get to the pallet these are things all killers expect from survivors so its predict that theyll go there......
After running the circle she phased in the opposite direction of me giving me plenty of time to hit another rough loop where wasted more of her.... everyone else however ate shiet because nobody wants to try new things..
Spirit has no set in stone counter play, her counters completely rely on the spirits ability to track, Iron Will is actually useless against a spirit who can hear footsteps, all you have against good spirits is pallets, Windows and guessing.
Trying new things just doesn’t work on every spirit. You just have to hope you guess right.

typical survivor main, how do you propose a good way too apply map pressure as someone like Legion? or Ghostface? Or Leatherface? Not everyone wants too be forced too play a top tier killer because they want too have a chance against survivors.
Gen times are fine. I main LF, was in high ranks last reset but haven’t played killer as much lately. You don’t even need ruin, slug people when you know where someone else is, drop chase if it last too long, kick gens, too many killers forget this. These are some basic tips that I can give you.

Huntress, Hag and Freddy don’t need buffs.

Absolutely, this is irrefutable proof.
It was more recent than Marths experiment, too, therefore it is more relevant and more of an issue than year and a half old data or people intentionally doing what they can to give killers as little points as possible.
When pips were based on hooks it was very easy to just ignore people on the hook and do gens and leave knowing someone wouldn't pip.
I think we should make LF have 110% ms, his chainsaw has a 15 second cooldown and speed limiter basekit, thoughts?

I mean, I'm not very good at the game, and survivors have the same objective, killer powers are all different, it's not even relative, if Marth only went against nurses then maybe your wish would have any credibility.
But here's a 5 hour video of ScottJund getting 32 4Ks with speed limiter, it's not exactly what you wanted but it clearly proves Leatherface and Speed limiter is op, right?
Time to nerf my big boi LF.

I'd love to see you winning 100 games as perkless leatherface with no perks nor addons against good survivors but sadly it will never happen.
And I’d like to see the de-pip squad winning 100 games against a good spirit or nurse but sadly it will never happen.

Yes as I said before, you can get kills by playing scummy - camping and with NOED - but the quality of such games is poor. You do not understand me at all it seems. I said I do not mind losing as "roleplaying Myers", what I do mind however is 3 gens being done with 1 chase still going. I also do not agree with most survivor nerfs devs implemented because in the end they only gimped the gameplay and did not help killers much. Also "Depip Squad" played 100 games with no perks and managed to stomp most killers and they are mediocre survivors at best. That clearly says something about balance in this game.
So if I played 100 games as vanilla LF and won the majority of them then would killers need re-balanced? Back when the de-pip squad did their experiment survivors were OP but they’ve received nerfs and aren’t OP currently.

So you drop a bit of puke on a Survivor and leave them? How is that not wasting time?
It's way easier to dodge the puke than it is to prevent Myers stalking, and even if he does leave you after stalking, that's power he can use toward snowballing your team. He doesn't have to come back to you.
I never said don’t chase lmao try to read what I say before replying, guess what? Plague can snowball just as well as Myers and if survivors split up then neither of them are going to snowball.

I couldn't stop laughing after I realised the guy who said that in the chat is the one with Windows of Opportunity ROFL, I mean if you are so "pro" why would you use that perk? xD
To keep track of what areas have loops, it really isn’t as bad as people say.
-
@Tzeentchling9 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/653997#Comment_653997
Because Myers has a bunch of other tools going for him too.
Lower TR
Faster vault speed
Longer lunge
Power that can be positioned to pop at the right moment to snowball and is more reliable to charge than vomiting on Survivors.
Comparing Plague to Tuft of Hair Myers is a false equivalency.
Plague has tracking, Myers TR is only a possible hassle in T1 but you can still position yourself to where you’ll see him coming, Myers waste a lot of time tiering up while Plague can puke on them once and they’ll eventually be on one hit down.
Also, I didn’t compare Plague with tuft of hair Myers, I compared her with Myers in general.
-
I’d personally like to face a billy who can curve at loops one day but I wouldn’t get mad at you for using m1 instead of m2.
-
Leatherface, I like his saw, very pleasing.
-
I played against a PS4 streamer that isn’t very popular, I was playing doc, not doing too well rancored someone in his swf, downed him, hooked him and camped him, managed to get his other swf mate because he was being stupid and then the steamer messaged me “Say hi to Twitch :]” so I went to his stream, created a twitch account and said “I’m the Dokta that facecamped you”.
-
I find it funny that people call Myers B tier but Plague is trash tier, Plague can always one shot survivors if they don’t cleanse and has a chance to get corrupt purge if they do.
