No problem dude!
I would agree. Ive gotten some great usage from it, like hitting people behind rocks/walls/healing at the hook...but that happens maybe 1/3 games? Most people stop healing once they hear the TR.
Mind me asking your thoughts on that other guys build with franklins? I know he isnt a PH main (no shade on him at all) but that seems very big brain to me lol.
It seems like an omega brain play but honestly seems boring to me :/
I play to have as much fun as possible, and make sure everyone else does too. Just drawing torment over items doesn't seem that fun to me. Plus it's hardly efficient.

As to gen rushing I'd more describe it as a scenario where the killer doesn't apply the proper amount of gen pressure for the set of survivors they are facing. Its generally a good idea to start off the match with maximum gen pressure in mind, while most lower rank survivors make the mistake of immediately getting off their gens to go save if your facing a coordinated or higher ranked set of survivors generally only 1-2 will get off gens to save so you need to push the remaining 2 off gens asap while one player is hooked. After they get pushed off they will generally go for the save rather than go back to their gen.
As for the typical example of gen rushing, the key is to down your first survivor as efficiently as possible, so you can go back to applying gen pressure. In an ideal survivor game all 4 survivors are working on 4 different gens when you find 1 survivor. You then need to down this survivor hook them, and go search for gens before the other 3 can pop their 3 gens. This is made far worse if you patrol the hook or guard it assuming you can catch someone going for a save as skilled survivors will pop their gens before going for a save (or wait until the last possible moment of course, at which... technically you can punish them by chasing them away from hook and forcing phase 2, which is a legitimate move but its punishing the one you caught for their teammates mistakes which really isnt fun for that player IMO).
Nah, I mean genrushing as in, when survivors will literally let teammates go into second stage and almost die on first hook to do gens ASAP.
In 1.8k hours I've faced it twice and both times the match was torture.

Yes lmao your dorito build is the one I liked alot lol. I use the DBDR app on my phone. Even have that build named "Dorito Boy - GoodBoyKaru" haha
I see so you took off nurses for infectious fright?
Aww thanks man :D
Yeah I took off Nurse's just because I wasn't getting that much value from it and I find IF to give more information, but I can still swamp it back on if I gotta. Usually Nurse's is great when it works for an easy through-the-wall but survivors adapted quicker than I'd hoped :(

Lmao I don't get annoyed when survivors bring keys...it's part of the game. I just have to adjust my game plan.
Also, what is gen rushing? Is that like when survivors try to finish gens as fast as possible so they can escape? So like, they try to win by doing their objectives? I am truly shocked. All of my games the survivors just sit around a cooler and drink beer while I cook bbq on the grill.
Ds/unbreakable....I can't imagine that the majority of survivors would use 2 of their 4 perk slots on those. Just think if there was a way to get around those meta perks all those survivors would be wasting 2 perk slots! Oh wait...maybe don't slug or tunnel. Dang that was hard thinking.
When I play killer I play how I want and I don't worry about the survivors feelings. When I play survivor I don't worry about the killers feelings, I try to escape. At the end it's gg whether I got a 4k or I got camped and tunneled. It's a game...
So like, they try to win by doing their objectives?
It's when survivors refuse to unhook until the last possible moment to focus on nothing but generators.
It's a game...
You're right it is, and clearly you're incredibly selfish.
I play in a way to not tunnel/camp so as to ensure everyone who played had a fun game. Also means I won't try and do gens ASAP and I'll save my teamamtes.
Clearly you, on the other hand, play in a way to ensure you had a fun game at the cost of everyone else.

Perks:
I'm All Ears
Infectious Fright
BBQ
Pop Goes The Weasel
Add-ons:
Valteil-Sect Photograph, Tablet of the Oppressor
Explanation
I'm All Ears provides invaluable wallhacks, which should never be underestimated on a killer who can hit through walls. BBQ is still one of the best perks in the game plus double bloodpoints, and Pop is the typical gen regression perk that's almost a requirement right now. Infectious is very helpful in knowing if you should cage or not, and provides some very solid information for decision making, which as PH can make or break the game. The add-ons increase the time you can use your power, and increase the recharge time of said power. Alternate add-ons you can use are Spearhead and Forgotten Videotape, basically the weaker versions of those add-ons.
If you wanna have some fun, go for double range add-ons (Burning Man Paining and Wax Doll), just be warned that using your ranged attack too frequently and missing can and will throw the game.
Also, as another tip: Only break god pallets. Your best bet of hitting Punishment of the Damned is when someone is stuck in an animation, vaulting windows/pallets or dropping them. Force people into a damned if you do damned if you don't scenario, since you can cancel your power almost instantly and get the hit, or get an easy m2. You can even deal with shack pallet being dropped like this, but it's still reccommended you break it.
This has been your friendly neighbourhood Pyramid Head Main, have a great day.

Nothing. Killers kill. So why bring a mori and possibly miss out on a kill or multiple kills to be nice to survivors? Also, could be an archive challenge. Could be the killer is in a rush. Could be the killer is in a bad mood.
Better question would be: why you are upset with killers, who's job is to kill you and why you think you're entitled to a second hook before they kill you.😮
Ah so don't get annoyed when survivors bring keys and genrush with DS/Unbreakable because it's their job to survive.
Or remember other people play this game and we should, ya know, be decent human beings to them.

@GoodBoyKaru 'Kay.
@Jessbydaylight You're not in the wrong to really like "Windstorms", they're arguably his best Add-ons, or at least the best Add-on series he has.
I wouldn't say he's impossible without Add-ons, but you're gonna feel an uphill battle if you play without.
From my experience, there's really only 2 things i want changed on his Killer Power.
- Not my idea, but: Completely invisible to Survivors as long as you're far away enough. Being able to spot this almost-completely stealth-dependant Killer across the map with base Survivor abilities can just kill his play.
- More cloaked-speed, NOT "Windstorm"-base, that'll just give him a sucky super-lunge. Give him more speed while cloaked, then change the "Windstorm" Add-ons accordingly. Not only would i like this change cause more speed, but by also changing "Windstorm", it would make other Add-ons more appealing to a certain degree. I mean, you got Hillbilly here, Chainsawing all over the map, faster than Wraith, carrying a standard 1-hit, Wraith can still potentially be seen...Yeah, he can at least use some more speed.
As for his Add-ons, the "Blinks" need an overhaul, they're near useless.
The best they can do is support your other Add-on, like cloaking faster to get "Windstorm" or "Shadow Dance" faster.
"The Serpent" is weird, it's really just a gimmick, but i can't find a good use for it, i'd rather just see it be something else, like increasing your super-lunge distance. (Which would fit the Add-on name, like how snakes practically launch at you to bite you.)
Lastly, i don't like "Blind Warrior" - Mud, but that's of course only because of Blindness. It doesn't need a change, but as long as Blindness is what it is, i won't care for it. It can be a nice passive to block some Auras, but ehh.
His Teachables are overall quite bad.
I like his Shadowborn the most just to feel faster, but for functionality, Wraith doesn't really need it.
I have no idea what to change about this Perk, best i can think of is to make the game be brighter for you only, but they removed the brightness Offerings for a reason.
Bloodhound is okay i guess, i just never lose their trail.
Idk, maybe leave this one as it is.
And Predator even moreso not losing their trail, at least blood pools could be hard to see on some floors or in corn, but Scratchmarks glow.
I've had the idea that Predator could reveal the Aura of the Survivor who made those Scratchmarks as long as you're within 1/2/3 meters of those Scratchmarks.
This could be incredibly useful in loops, to see what they're doing, and it really fits his hunter style.
It's gonna look weird to end this comment just like this, but this is my take on changes to him.
2 things on him really just work for me: Successfully getting close enough to land that first hit without needing to chase (especially awesome with Exposed), and his super-lunge, especially when successfully pulled off at a vault or Pallet, or against Sprint Burst users.
I don't want his base Power to change, and i definitely do NOT want him to have a cooldown Power, no matter how balanced it is. (Nothing wrong with it really, i just dislike being on cooldown.)
thank you for your help lol; i might be a partial wraith main but i dont feel qualified to comment on him completely yet

Have we had any update on this skin?
We should have no reason to preseume anything will happen until we have confirmation.

I've had that bug happen to me as killer and as survivor. It's not an exploit, and until confirmed by the devs is not bannable.
-
No worries
-
Firstly you wanna get video proof of them hacking. Either record the remainder of the game or record enough to show that they're hacking depending on your platform. If you don't have this you can't do anything.
Report them in-game at the end screen for hacking.
Head to here and fill out the further required details. Make sure you submit a ticket under "Additional Player Report Information". Supply as much information as is necessary, including attaching or linking (as a YouTube video or twitch clip for example) to the report.
https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Head to your emails and verify the ticket if needed.

Depends the map honestly
Azarovs (hope i didnt wrote it wrong) has many very very strong pallets, as the swamp got fiewer pallets and not very safe ones
The map with a giant tree in the middle (dont really know the map names sorry lol) is one of the maps, if not the map with the least pallets in it (with shreks swamp)
The point is also how many Tiles or pallets leads you to another junglegym or tile and how much time it gets to waste for you just because of it
I think the complain is more for the combination of windows+pallets. I dont think thats the real problem in the game, but rather the gen time with the little pressure you can apply on 4 survivors and the many second chances perks they get (as if killer makes a mistake, its 4 times bigger then a survivor mistake since its a team of 1 vs a team of 4)
P.S.: can we not make fun about someones whos english obviously aint the best and that probably plays the game in another language explaining why he doesnt knownthe english names of some perks? (Doesnt apply to you Karu tho, youre a good boy)
Azarov's is one of the more balanced maps because of the ability for the survivors to either get an easy win by splitting the map, or the killer to get an easy win by forcing a genlocke.
I'll agree though, most Autohaven maps have a lot of safe pallets, but then have few windows. Swamp lacks both, but is large and works amazingly if you're immersive.
Shelter Woods, I believe, is the map you're referring to there, and I agree the entire place is a dead zone.
If I'm being completely honest, I think we need more pallets and windows, they just need to be significantly less safe (and we need to delete Midwich :D).
Doesnt apply to you Karu tho, youre a good boy
I mean, it is in the name :3

Because you can close the hatch?
-
I've noticed some rather severe lag spikes too- I'll be chilling on 40 then suddenly out comes the lag im on 270+ and I died feelsbad.
This seems like it could be something going on on BHVR's end, and could possibly be related to the creation of parties being bugged too.

Didn't they remove the hatch grab?

Hi, I used to main old Freddy. I well and truly hate myself to the point I need to get professional help. I enjoy facing the Nurse.
Even I don't want to put myself through this, this torture. That reward has gotta be amazing cause I'm on 7 survivors and my 5th killer right now after 1.8k hours so you best believe I'm wholly opposed to making that grind worse.

The only nerf DS need is being disabled if other survivor is hooked, if I hook a survivor and I spot and catch you again in less than 60 seconds since your last hook I'm being punished for playing good, I'm not tunneling and the perk lost the purpose of being an anti tunneling perk.
The deva have never officially said the only purpose of DS is anti-tunnel and have actually confirmed the opposite.

I don't care about the grabs, its the hit after the grab. The stupid hit validation spazzed out, thinking I grabbed the survivor, and targeted the hooked survivor. Basically makes unhooking in the killers face completely safe.
Yes, they're trying to fix it, but they are failing miserably, and they're using us as forced beta testers.
Well from the survivor side let me tell you bullshit grabs still exist on the other end of the spectrum too. I've had a survivor be unhooked and running away then I've been grabbed.
So, let them fix it in their ways.
-
Server sided hit validation didn't fix grabs because it wasn't meant to fix grabs.
> STOP TRYING TO ADD STUFF TO THE GAME!!!

The way dbd works having only 5 generators on the map with 4 Survivors is that once you down someone you start putting pressure on the map. Then the perk loses completely the purpose of an anti tunneling perk because then the Survivors with DS plays like a super hero because he can go invincible for 60 seconds and either repair the gen in your face literally

There are four survivors in each match. It wouldn't kill you to chase another.
Survivors have unbreakable? Cool, make them waste it.

Doing my best CosmicParagon impression here; Hearsay does NOT equal evidence.
In all seriousness, the word of the plethora of players, including myself, who say otherwise based on our in game experiences is not good enough. So fair is fair, why should this be?
Because I've gone into the game and gotten actual evidence of it being equal.
If enough people say 2+2=6, that doesn't make it true.

Thanks for the insult, but I didn't say it was evidence. Not once. Reading comprehension isn't your strong point is it. I said so many players with no reason to lie about it are not making it up. There's no rational reason to believe they would, or do you have one that you can offer up? They have nothing to gain from it. They also don't make these claims about other killers, except Huntress' hatchet hitboxes. So either they're telling the truth, or its a mass conspiracy against Freddy's lunge. Whether you or anyone else choose to believe them is your choice.
It will still be true whether you do or not.

I have every killer unlocked, too. Given your snotty insulting attitude toward me, why would I even consider that. Sorry but I'm not that desperate. But since you're so eager to disprove this claim, then you go make a video about it and post it here. Go on put egg on our faces with video evidence worthy of the law. Something I should never work in!
I've literally gone into a KYF before to test it.

if you want the shortened version of how I understand it, here you go:
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Dead Hard works a bit like grabs.
In terms of how it works as confirmed by Peanits, both are buggy because they're checked twice, a remnant of old P2P gameplay. Basically:
- You input your DH/Grab
- The server checks to see if it's possible.
- If it isn't possible, the server returns that as a grab cancel/dying survivor. This happens almost insantly.
- If it is possible, the server then sends a message to the other player's client (for Dead Hard, to the killer, for grabs, to the survivor).
- Then, the other player's client sends another check to ensure the grab/dead hard is still possible. This takes some time.
- If it is still possible, Dead Hard dodges and you grab the survivor.
- If it isn't possible you get the awful grab cancel/exhausted on the ground.
Server-sided hit validation wouldn't have fixed this because it wasn't designed to fix this. Dead Hard/Grabs need to be re-coded, which has been confirmed by the devs as something they're looking into.
If you want the longer version, you're gonna have to go digging very far through Peanits' comment history to find it.
-
Okay so I went into the bug report section and literally first page of the reports
There's two complains.
I didn't even have to scroll.

Right now the challenge is worded as "Damage 15 generators."
I do not believe that Hex: Ruin counts as damaging generators.
Perks like Surge, however, do count as damaging generators.
-
Firstly, are you sure nobody has mentioned it? There's nothing in the Bug Reports section?
Secondly, could you elaborate on how she's broken? Just saying "She's broken" isn't exactly helpful.

Spirit travels through an ethereal plane. Wraith/Nurse travel through the Spirit World (rather ironically).

Unrelenting does not reward for making mistakes, it makes the punishment for making mistakes less severe.
But Fire Up is a good example! It's even 20% on tier 3 after 5 gens, that's basically like Brutal Strength, just only after you've dealt with all the pallets at the end of the game.
I thought it was 3% per stack! Clearly this is because I've been limiting myself by keeping the perk tier 1 for so long since it's so good and crutch!
Devs nerf fire up, pls.

Honestly when someone hits me Head On I usually let them go because I don't see that perk enough. It's so much fun and it's even more fun when I can bait it out since I use the perk so frequently lol.
