DS could be argued as the best survivor perk. We could also argue DH, SB, Unbreakable, or BT are the best survivor perks. We'll Make It could even be added to the list.

Yeah I tried to sprint burst as well and it didn't work. I was able to get out idk how. I was looking at the top of the hill when I was able to move out. Half my game was lost and got deranked because of it 😡😡😡.
It's been fixed in the next patch. Devs have confirmed on twitter.

You are aware that with the lore of the game, survivors need hope for The Entity to feed off of right?
Furthermore earlier you mentioned about survivors killing themselves; what if that's what they're trying? They'll try and escape the hook but got lucky- or depending on how you look at it, unlucky- and actually got off instead of speeding up their timer and then killing themselves and moving on.
Also this seems like a pretty boring way to play nurse ngl. Try having some fun builds, like Devour and MYC, that the other team can have fun with too. Everyone wants to play a game not sit on the floor (or have gens go in 3 minutes).

How does checking a profile lets you know the person has been banned? They haven't played for a while? For all we know, it could've been a coincidence / they play very rarely / they were away for a week, etc. Besides, I would honestly not encourage stalking.
For instance, I didn't know my friend was banned for a week until he told me himself after he logged in. That's the only way.
No I meant for hacking. If someone's been banned for hacking it shows they've gotten a permanent ban on their profile (at least on steam).

You just gotta learn the ropes, trust me; many people here will say killer is weak, it isn't that bad, but they're very far from being OP.

If you've submitted an additional ticket to dbd support you'll get the message above and dbd support will look into your claims. You won't know through them if the person was banned so it's best to check the profile of the person after a week or so.
However if someone was being racist/homophobic in endgame chat, then the chat logs are saved as soon as you hit report. Therefore you don't need to submit a ticket. If you're on console report the messages to sony/Microsoft and they'll sort it out.

Go to the Cannibal's information page (by pressing F1 and scrolling along), does the teachable for BBQ still have the locked icon next to it?
If it does, either submit a bug report here or contact dbd support (preferably with proof that you've purchased bbq, and with consistent details such as account name and currency amounts).

It actually does screw killers over if they 3 hook everyone. they should never reach 12 especially if the damage is evenly shared around since there is only 5 objectives for 4 survivors to do.
If you ever played killer against competent survivors you would know this.

Just because it's not the strongest loadout doesn mean it's not damned close. I'd take it over anything but a bloodamber skeleton key or supercharge medkit.

Blood Amber on a Skele key with his perk though; 7.5 extra seconds of aura reading (with Streetwise, even more). And you can open the hatch too.

because the devs do not actually give us accurate data to analyze things with before we make a statement on the state of game I thought id do a quick strawpoll of cross-play.
Please bear in the mind the forums are a vocal minority of the overall playerbase, and so the general opinion may not be accurate to the opinion of the community as a whole.
Also this is a poll so expect it to be moved to the polls section of the forums.
EDIT: You also forgot about people who've opted out on only one platform (example I play on PC and Switch when my PC is being used, and while I've opted in on both I know people who opt-out on Switch but are in on, say, PS4).

So batteries will work no matter which slot you put them in, but basically add-ons are applied in a weird way.
Slot one will apply to the item/power. Slot two will apply to the item/power and the effects of slot one. This is why everyone always says to use the Long-Life Battery then the Low-Amp Fillament, not the other way around.

Yep lol actually you can use the mind channel at window vaults and window tech a killer every time because you lose collision if you do it as soon as they start vaulting , normal window techs have a timing or you'll end up with collision but this totally eliminates that, and a map works with it as well
ngl didnt know you could do that but my respect for green keys with add-ons has increased very slightly.
still id rather learn the actual timing bc then it's more consistent and fun but if i ever gotta do it quickly thanks for the tip :D

Only that comparison holds no water. There's nothing toxic about using perks or completing your objective, gen rush is more an issue involving RNG than other players. Wanting to win does not make you a scummy human being, this expectation only tends to fall on killers for whatever reason.
- Tunneling because it's the most efficient way to win, using perks like NOED if need be.
- DS/Unbreakable and Genrushing because it's the most efficient way to win.

Okay, but see, the problem here is that, while it SAID that they would "make sure to put some special attention on the console optimization" that doesn't say anything. And if you read what the rest said which is "Version for the graphical update" put the two together and what they are actually saying is that they would make sure that when the graphical update comes, that they would make sure that ps4 and xbox one will be able to handle the higher quality graphics, nothing about FPS drops or FPS on console in general. It means most highly likely once the update comes, all the old problems will still be kept BUT the problems that would come with the graphical update would be eliminated (For a different explanation: you have dirty brown water(Base DBD) and you add a chemical to it(Graphical update) now that water looks clean and clear, but it only made it LOOK clean and clear, there is still bacteria in it(So Base DBD FPS, but it looks nicer))))
the other main problem with theses "so not bright devs" is whenever they say that they are gonna do something, they don't word it right or give enough information, like more then half of the time, it just sounds like they are saying "We are doing something/this/that" and a lot of people, when they read that, they get the wrong information and BHVR just ends up doing something else that was completely different from what the message was giving, because of how it was worded and how little information was told.
So when they say "special attention" you have to question "Ok what part of the optimization are you paying special attention to?" because it could mean a number of things. And also, do play close attention of how none of the words when they talked about console optimization had a (s) at the end

Nah I love it cause when I show them I actually play both sides they just never respond (or in one case, demand I change BHVR's matchmaking algorithm to give me harder-than-rank-one survivors).

It is literally why my name is my two mains, or my main killer and my former main survivor, form my forum name. People can't pull the entitlement card on me.
The amount of times when my pfp was Claudette I'd be called a survivor main was actually hilarious. Changed it to Pyramid Head and I was suddenly a killer main out to nerf survivors to the ground.
Even funnier was when I was called an "Entitled Survivor Main" and a "Toxic Killer Main" within the same thread.
