Devs are aware that some of Mikeys add-ons are "problematic" so if he gets any changes in the immidiate future it will be an add-on pass.

I've never tried that build. This one works best for me, if I change even one of these perks I almost feel naked on Nurse now lol:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/9AKC4OY5P5KN/image.png
I used to use Discordance but have replaced it with Tinker since the Discordance nerf and have found it to be far superior than Discordance ever was both pre and post nerf.
Oh no my usual build is ruin/Undying/bbq/shadowborn but I used that built (with matchbox, obviously) as a joke and it worked pretty well lmao
-
Survivor: Head On. I haven't used it in a hot moment but it still makes me happy, and it's closely followed by Soul Guard.
Killer: Honestly, it'd have to be I'm All Ears. It's one I don't use on a lot of killers (rn I think only one, being Pyramid Head, and I used to use it on Nurse but then I got Shadowborn and never looked back) but the information you get from it is insane and I ######### love the perk.
-
Nurse actually has 2. Her second one is Dull Bracelet: reduces the maximum blink distance

I'll upload full footage of it soon.

I mean, if you count travel time, sure. Not with my luck, since my totems tend to spawn 5 feet from generators, but 5 x 14 = 70, so doing all 5 totems is 10 seconds less than a solo gen with no perks/toolbox. Considering survivors seem perfectly okay with running half a minute to a corner of the map to self-care for 32 seconds, I can't see it being a tremendous burden on solo queue except they just don't want to.
The people who run to the corner to self care don't do generators, let alone anything actually productive like totems and gens, so your point kinda falls flat.
It's not that I don't want to do totems, it's that I did 3 of them, 3 gens, was chased for another 2, and saved everyone. Its not my fault my team can't do 2 totems.
Hence why I advocate for a totem counter to be basekit, give solos information swf already have (which they said they would be doing 2 years ago now) and remove my least favourite killer perk from the meta simultaneously.

They literally only need to look at time played for this one mate. No bias in pure hours played.
Hence the "outdated" part; if you can find recent stats about this then please, show me; I've been trying my best to keep up to date with everything BHVR say to their community for the better part of 3 years so I'm sure I've missed something.

Yes, this is actually true. BHVR gave out stats on this one, let me go see if I find them.
Please bear in mind stats released by BHVR will be either:
- Outdated
- Inaccurate
- or Both
There are copious factors to take into account with recent stats released, and older stats are, well, old.

It means they've been "jailed", which lasts for a week. They can only post once every 150 seconds, and cannot create new threads. This happens with the 2nd infraction of the forum rules; the first is a warning, and the 3rd is a 1 month forum ban. While you do bring a valid point. Who thinks to them selvs man I just had a very stressful game and that bubba ingored everyone and face camped me because of a broken key im going to play killer to relax or im ditching my swf to play killer the more stressful role. No one to very few people think that but I bet there have been countless times where someone got mad at a killer game and said im going to play some surivor or play with my friends
tbh if im solo id do that because killer is less stressful.

Groaning store houseefor example got all the pallets removed so once the wall is broken the main building is a dead zone.
To be fair with storehouse even if you break the wall that ######### is an infinite. As in, my record is 6 vaults of that window before the killer left me.

@GoodBoyKaru said it best. Survivors are skins and killers are unique. Patching a survivor bug doesnt require looking at each individual skin. Killers do. Well he said something like that.
This the comment you mean?
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Something worth noting is that universal killer bugs take longer to physically fix, hence why it takes longer to patch them out. Survivors are exactly the same code, just with different models; therefore a universal survivor bug, once fixed on one survivor, is fixed on them all. Killers are all coded completely differently, so not only do you have to see if a universal killer bug is fixed on every single killer (21 characters, over the 1 single survivor), plus you have to make sure fixing a bug preventing Demogorgon from using Shred doesn't suddenly make Deathslinger's hat obscure his vision and Pyramid Head's Great Knife suddenly can't swing unless you do a 460 degree turn and pledge your allegience to Queen Elizabeth 3rd before you do so.
It's just easier and quicker to fix survivor bugs, so more of them get patched quicker, if that makes sense?

To be fair... I think I discovered a lot of Mori/camping/tunneling killers are survivors doing challenges.
and ive discovered plenty of killers who will sit there and use ######### like OOO/DS/UB/SG or BTL+Streetwise+PT+Commodious Toolbox with 2 charge add-ons. it goes both ways, no matter what you try and compare there will always be hypocrites on both sides (or people who just use strong things, not necessarily hypocrites).

Wait..."I don't main him because i like to suffer"
wut? So not playing clown is suffering? This is something of a society...
I am honestly confused, if there has been an error or if this is a true statement from a dedicated clown main.
what they mean is "the reason i play clown isn't because i like to suffer, but because he's a lot more viable than other's think"
-
@TheWarNung said:
You know you're not permanently locked into a single role, right? Most of us killer mains ALSO play survivor. We mostly don't whinge about perks like DS/UB/DH because we often use them ourselves. Our only real complaint about DS is that it lasts too long, and personally I don't actually mind the 60 seconds of invilnerability.
We use powerful perks at high ranks because everyone else is using powerful perks. We're trying to play the game to the highest levels of our skill against similarly skilled opponents.
OoO is a special exception. Along with keys and moris (and maybe NOED) it's a nuclear option that radically alters the way the game is played and saps the fun from matches.
Instead of complaining about killer players you could just try playing killer. See if you feel the same way after you see the game from both perspectives.
so... Killer mains also play survivor, the majority of the time, but survivor mains don't play killer? Okay
-
I get a rich post comment, of course. I'll try and summarise what I said above but here. Please keep in mind my original answer was much more comprehensive so if you want me to expand on any of these points let me know and I'll try to remember what I said.:
- The game is much better than before; it used to be ######### busted and it's a miracle killers could get hits at all. The balancing has steadily improved over 4 years of patches, the majority of which over 3 of those 4 years have been helping killers.
- They're significantly more vocal than most other game developers I've seen.
- The thana "nerf" was honestly a buff, every time I hit someone I basically get 16 free seconds of time now because they want to heal, which is nice.
- Clown is actually being buffed/reworked soon, they confirmed it on the dev stream (here's a hyperlinked summary), about 8-9 questions down about add-on dependant killers. So the gap will close, slowly but surely.
-
There was an error rendering this rich post.

there are no breakable walls in that loop. without the hole it's very much the autohaven crane, just more annyoing.
without that hole this was a loop that often forced to break off a chase.
Was it really? Interesting to see how you play because I was able to catch up with the survivor after literally a single loop, and they'd be forced to head to one of the two car pallets. It wasn't a strong loop ever since the breakable walls entered the equation. If you don't break the wall, the loop is fine. This extra whole was entirely unneeded.

Because letting 3 people die on hook, and having no chases at all, even with an Iridescent lightbringer and Unbroken, is a guaranteed depipp. There's nothing anyone in that situation can do except, once all gens are done, stand close to the basement and try and farm some evader.
Not to mention they could be solo, unaware of what's happening. They could just want to make sure people have a fun game, and don't die in literally 3 minutes for the heinous crime of being found first.
How dare people want to pip, get Bloodpoints, and try to let their teammates have fun?! What a shocker!!
Escaping isn't the only thing in dbd. There's more to this game than that.

They have all been given a high number of codes.
The fog whisperers would benefit console players greatly by instead of typing out ONE single, solitary code (minus the last 2 characters), they pre-type out 10 or 20 codes then enter them all onto the screen simultaneously... then enter the last 2 characters for each simultaneously.
Everyone would be aiming for whichever code they prefer. The possibility of PC players going for the same codes as other PC players would then be greater, providing more opportunity for console gamers to get their Dwight Crow.
Seems like a better option to try an give more console players success.
...at least worth the try.
One code at a time isn’t primarily benefiting any other than the PC players.

Vinc3ntvega does 5 codes at a time every hour and then at the end of his stream does a whole bunch, like 15 I think.
To add to this, BoxGhost puts up 10 codes at a time, on the hour, every hour, so even though she averages about 500 viewers that's still 1/5 of her viewers who get codes (not to mention those who already have them), and she leaves the final 2-4 characters hidden for like, 2-3 minutes. It's pretty nice of her, and that's how I finally got my one.

So 4% without any help of a perk or offering doesnt give u DS then?
No, you get DS whenever you get off of the hook if you have the perk DS equipped. This could be with Deliverance, Slippery Meat, someone saving you, or sheer luck; it doesn't matter, provided they have the perk equipped in their loadout. It gives you DS, so does getting off normally, but only with the perk on; just getting off the hook doesn't suddenly mean you get gifted the perk from thin air, channeling the spirit of Laurie Stroodle inside you to tbag the exit gates because gee gee ea zee baby killer

No, he just got lucky + he had the perk equipped. You don't suddenly get gifted DS if you yeet off the hook.

Well this...makes actually a lot of sence, thank you
yet i sure hope/wish they would take some time off from the rift and chapters to fix some bugs up... i don't even know if they fixed the bugs on some killer perks, like Dragon's Grasp, that didn't got survivor to scream when touching the gen right after a kick
just like i would love an option to "turn off the aim-assist" so you can try to see if it really helps, and not get abused about this (i mean of course console probably need it, but PC? i dunno)
If it helps you sleep better, Dragon's Grip got fixed.
Glad it made sense, though.

This is a known issue. Head over the Bug reports section of the forum and upvote the relevant post to ensure the devs know just how widespread it is, adding extra details if they're not there already (for example, if a certain killer isn't listed as bugged/not bugged, add that).

Survivor-sided overall.
Suffocation Pit still has a bunch of jungle gyms and T/L walls together in the middle of the map.
Shelter Woods can go either way depending on tile spawns.
Coal Tower, Ironworks, and Storehouse have breakable walls that need to broken unless you want to deal with god loops. Who the hell thought this was a good idea?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1706003#Comment_1706003

Yeah, you literally can't catch up on the main building.
I don't have any specific clips of it, but I know it exists.
@GoodBoyKaru Will tell you about it, and he has video evidence.
No video evidence yet because I haven't actually had someone ran on it completely (and I drop chase whenever someone goes here now) but my record is 6 times through the window before a killer left me, with the wall broken. They weren't in chase and couldn't catch me, at all. The game I think MusicNerd is talking about was on-stream yesterday, it was a Pig on Storehouse who knew she couldn't catch me there and so dropped chase. She was incredibly good otherwise and caught me out at a usually safe pallet, so extreme props to her.
-
It's worth noting, the challenge is bugged on a lot of killers, so Huntress and apaprently Clown both work for it normally.

All this stupid backlash pisses me off, and the majority of people on these forums are the most hypocrital people. They want cosmetics they don't want to pay for. They want characters, and content they expect free. They want free progression, free characters, and free dlc. Then turn around and expect a bug free, cross platform, with cross progression like as if getting that ######### doesn't cost - well I don't know - MONEY?! All the ######### while this game requires so much difficult coding because it's a HORROR GAME.
I can even go further.
Let's talk about balancing. Like what the actual ######### people. This is supposed to be a FUN CASUAL GAME! The most of these players can't seem to get that through their heads. They want to min max everything, and be as competitive as humanly possible - ruining the game for the people who actually just want to have fun, and ruining the game for players that want to play Killer because all they get is bullied, and have to sweat every round just to be able to do sub-par.
How about the consistent toxicity? Calling each other every single thing but a human, literally people telling others to kill themselves over a casual game. Dead by Daylight ended up getting a renown for having THE MOST toxic community in current day gaming - even worse than World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, and Rainbow Six: Siege.
Then the sheer amount of people that come on these forums and just straight up talk out of their ass - that know absolutely nothing about the games actual balance, programming, or development of the game.
Like seriously BHVR is one of the few companies that has the most communication with their playerbase, and they get torn apart for it. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they go as quiet as triple AAA titles and start telling their hypocritcal playerbase "We don't care if you don't like it".
To be honest, if anything BHVR is doing at this point is straight up a scam. I'm not surprised, with the amount of bullying they have gotten since I started playing. The players deserve it. Hands down. I wouldn't be surprised if the company did just want to take as much money as they can humanly scrap from this game and then walks away from their un-appreciative audience.
