Fair fair 😂 though that second slug looks kinda like a different SLU word 😂
no that's a G I promise you that's a G they're all capitals so it must be a G

Forever Slug!
Your being the slug you've always wanted to be. While being slugged:
- Your bleed out timer doesn't decrease
- Leave a rainbow trail behind you as you crawl. The trail disappears after 30 seconds.
I'm sorry I saw an opportunity and took it this is the biggest mistake of my life

alot of players get ban becuse the eac ? or its realy a low chance
I have yet to hear of someone being banned by it, though I'm sure it has happened. It does seem to be incredibly rare though, so long as you do it right (which is properly replacing the files and not leaving duplicates/more than what there should be).
-
It's like Inji said; BHVR will not actively ban you, nor seek you out to ban you, if you change the game files for cosmetic purposes (like, for example, turning off anti-aliasing, or increasing the animation quality to above-ultra settings). However there's always the risk of EAC taking note, at which point you have to try and get through to EAC customer service who, no offence, are about as helpful as a chocolate fireguard.

Well, there's this sweet spot called *The Zone*, and it takes a different amount to get there for each person. I find one gin cocktail helps me feel less self-conscious, especially in a SWF. That extra confidence helps me try for better plays.
Now if I overshoot The Zone, I consistently blow gens and get lost in the EGC. Also, sometimes I can be found whispering at corn and bushes, 'Claudette, dat you???'
you missed the chance to make the pun of "one Jyn cocktail"

They did hit. You're just getting thrown off by the animations. The indications for hatchet hits are very poorly-made because the were originally designed for p2p servers.
"They did hit"
No. No they did not.
I don't know how many different colours I need to circle them in to show you that those hatchets and my character model did not connect.

Yeah I was playing Freddy, so that makes sense. But damn, I wasn't aware OoO was such a counter to him. They can literally see him at all times if affected by dream in that case while in a chase.
This is why, imo, you should always run something to inflict blindness on freddy- be it Sheep Block, Cat Block, or Hex: The Third Seal.
When they're blind, the perk functions as it would when they're looking at you and you can see their aura, but they can't see yours. On the off-chance there is an OoO, it literally hard counters it so well at the cost of an add-on slot on a killer who doesn't need add-ons.

At least we'd see a little more fixes here and there. They are already on par with monetization
Considering how it costs like £600-£700 for every Sims 4 expansion pack, and there's DLC for their DLC, I'd unironically say that BHVR still isn't as bad as EA
-
Now I don't use Oni because he makes me ill, but my friend is a pretty big Oni main and suggests keeping Sloppy Butcher equipped. Yeah, it doesn't make them drop more blood orbs, but it makes them mangled, which means it takes them longer to heal, in turn meaning there's less time spent on gens and more time spent injured, meaning more blood too.
I think his build is BBQ/Sloppy/Ruin/Undying, so obviously you could sub out RuinDying for CorruptPop like you're doing now, but I'd honestly get rid of Corrupt for Tinkerer if I'm being completely honest.

I'm not venting, I'm letting people know what my financial situation is which is why I can't afford to set money aside for a new monitor each week, especially considering they're trying to give me financial advice without knowing what's going on.

She dced after missing 2 hatchets. I know this because she said, in endgame chat, "######### bullshit game, those hatchets should've hit". Literally, she missed 2 shots on me and DCed.

You make it sound like people are saying to spend $300 on a monitor. There are a slew of 1080p ones that are under $100. Put a little money aside here and there. It can be done in two months if you're just putting in $10 a week. One month if you're doing $20.
To my name, to get me through 3 months, I have £69.15 to spend on food & present for birthdays and anything else that isn't rent or bills. In the nicest possible way, I'm not going to buy a new monitor when my current ones work perfectly fine. BHVR need to implement a functional resolution scaling system. What may seem like not much to someone is a fortune to someone else. Please don't assume anything about my financial situation.

Map dependent hazards, hmm...
Macmillan: Holes in the ground you can trip into (they're obvious holes), remnants of the mining on the Estate.
Autohaven: Cars that make noise if you get too close (their alarm goes off)
Coldwind: Not sure but, I like your idea of some injured pigs.
Asylum: Not sure about this one.
Haddonfield: The houses are alarmed the first time they're entered.
Backwater Swamp: Well, there's the crow bombs so maybe that's good for it still, but there could be puddles of actual swampland that slows everyone down if they're in there.
Lery's: Computers/TVs that burst into static when you run near (walking/crouching is good).
Red Forest: Toys of the children strewn all over the map, they can squeak if you run over them.
Springwood: I've never seen NOES so I can't comment on it.
Gideon Meat Plant: Lots of Billys that cackle at you.
Yamaoka: Wind chimes (make noise if you're near) and/or leaf piles (slow you down if you run in them).
Ormond: Like the leaves on Yamaoka, but snow. Also actual footprints in the snow.
Hawkins: I honestly don't know.
Glenvale: The vultures can be more frequent and make noise if a survivor is near.
Silent Hill: I don't know because I've never played the games.

Nothing gets past me anymore these days after a down. Footsteps, breathing, a crow, groans. I always hear it if somebody else is nearby.
You'd be very surprised how much you can get away with because of the sound of that damn chase music and the killer focusing on the chase instead of on what's happening outside of the chase

Everyone runs cosmetics and evreyone has at least one P3 character.

As in you still manage to consistently get flashlight saves?
Are there really that many killers you’re up against that don’t hear or notice these things before a pick up?
Unironically yes it happens more often than you'd think. I just have to run in when the survivor is nearly downed so the chase music covers my scratch marks, usually with a 99'ed sprint burst. Then wait. Killer picks up, I run around, and save with +1 WGLF stack.

Your connection dipping happens within a fraction of a second my man, you can't notice it but it happens all the time, most servers have a bit of fail-safes built in that factor in these dips, but no it's not something you will ever notice in the moment.
Like I said, it's really coincidental that my connection just happens to drop when the killer swings, or the huntress throws a hatchet, or I vault a window. How very, very coincidental that my connection is the one that drops during that fraction of a second, that tiny time frame, every time without fail, and in the postgame it just so happens to be a console player, or someone far away from servers (Russia, China, South Africa, America).
But yes, I'm sure its definitely my connection and not server sided hit validation genuinely not working.
-
@SilentHillOnDvD said:
How can you have fun when the killer is just bad at the game?
Sometimes it's nice to take a break from rank 1 stridor spirits, the tunneling camping pigs, or noed insidious bubbas and just have a relaxing round. Gens aren't a priority. Chases aren't a priority. You can make a couple of mistakes and still have some fun. It's very nice, though if it was every game I'm sure it'd get boring eventually but as is, red rank solo queue is the worst of all.
@HollowsGrief said:
Idk man, every time I win as killer (and I'm a pretty good one) I just get comments about how boring the match was, or what a boring killer I was playing (who the heck thinks Oni or Myers is a boring killer to vs?)
"(who the heck thinks Oni or Myers is a boring killer to vs?"
It goes like this:
-I deny the killer their power
-They leave me
-Solo teammate feeds their power (getting hit very quickly then not healing/tbagging in their LOS)
-Killer finds me again
-Killer uses power when they're on my back (or in the case of Oni, relatively near me).
-Nothing I can do
-I die
-This happens all 3 times I'm hooked.
-
@HollowsGrief said:
Hit validation takes your connection into account as well, if you are getting hit with BS hits then it's very likely your connection was dipping at that moment. This kind of thing happens much faster than humans can see, so it's not something you will notice outside of the BS hit. Then again lets also not pretend their servers are anything special; point is, it's probably not the killer cucking you, it's either your own internet and or servers.
Idk man the i game ping counter remains at 49 and its very coincidental that every single time I vault a window or drop a pallet my connection just so happens to stutter lol.
@NightWolfsFury said:
I was trying my absolute hardest to get a Shadowplay of the game I was just in, but it didn't work.
Anyways, I was against a Ghostface and dropped a pallet, the pallet was fully dropped and he had been stunned, and then swung and I went down as I started running from the pallet.
He picked me up and started teleporting all over the place.
Later on, I tried to Dead Hard against him and was always half way through my animation and went down, exhausted. The exhaustion wasn't even refunded.
I just saw YESTERDAY on the forums that someone had videos as Kate against a Freddy with all the same issues.
Did the devs even code hit validation to do anything? Anything at all? Because obviously it doesn't work and just causes Huntress and Oni issues and literally nothing else. Are the servers just too slow or bad to actually acknowledge hit validation?
Unironically no it doesn't feel like it does, ESPECIALLY vs a huntress

Also, why do people think the 'stars at the 5th anniversary' comment means RE?
Couldn't it just as well be a stream with Jamie Le Curtis and Robert Englund?
The reason people think this is because in Resident Evil, there's a "Special Tactics And Rescue Service" team that works for Umbrella in the Raccoon Police Department. S.T.A.R.S.
It's a reach, that's for sure, but if there's one thing about this community that's for definite it's that we overhype things to #########.

So, I haven't played many res:e games- working through the res:e 2 remake, res:e 7 Biohazard, and my friend bought me 5 and 6 to play through as well. But from what I've played of em, I think it'd be sick if it was:
- Based on res:e 8 Village
- The RPD (another indoor map, I know, disgusting), with Claire and Leon as survivors and Mr X as the killer.
- NEST (with the same cast as above)
- The Hospital (though this may be too similar to Lerys) with Jill and Carlos as survivors and Nemesis as the killer.
- Raccoon City (think of the possibilities!!) with, idk, Claire and Leon as the base ones and Jill/Carlos could be legendary skins for them. Mr X as the killer just because I like him more, even though Nemesis is more suited for Raccoon City.
- The Baker Estate (not all of it, but some of it) with Mia and Ethan as survivors and Eveline as the killer? It sounds weird but hear me out- she can infect survivors with her mould, and then any action they do actually gives negative charges, and also could make moulded which would hunt down survivors seperately from her.
-
Add onto its current form:
If you're within 8m of another survivor, any aura that's revealed to them is also revealed to you.
-
- Uncleansable totem of Coldwind Farm
- Just Do Bones
-
Favourite thing even slightly DBD related of 2020?
Definitely would have to be dating @Cheers, still one of the best people I knew and I hope he's resting peacefully x
Though tbh, annoying a friend of a friend (in a KYF) where I was told I "had to die" (in DBD ofc) was pretty good

https://clips.twitch.tv/ExquisiteSassyDootTakeNRGAnd, of course, me maining Pyramid Head to the point someone told me I was better than Otz.

It is 100% a problem with your router and the servers.
Trust me, connect straight from the modem and you won't have this disconnection problem.
I- I literally do though. Hardwired from my pc to the plastic box that connects us to the Internet that I've always called a router because I can't do technical speak and almost failed my computer science gcse lol. There's no way to connect more direct than that
-
@Tizzle said:
It's something to do with their servers and how they interact with certain routers.
I was having this issue after they implemented the servers.
Never ever had a problem being disconnected like this when it was P2P being connected through router.
To fix it I connect straight from modem to PC/Console.
Haven't had these disconnects happen since.
I'm connected from my pc to the router with, like, a 5m long ethernet cable so it goes from my room through like 2 corridors and into the living room where the router is so I don't think it's that.
-
There's honestly not really a way I have fun. I just kinda play it with friends only at this point, and don't focus on the game. Hard to, when every single game is an unfun fuckfest but I do try my best to. I've broken so many things playing survivor it's not even funny anymore and it's the reason why I have to take breaks from this game.
At least killer is fun. Mostly.
-
Honestly I never used to know but after having played through res:e2 remake (and seen a walkthrough for the bits I haven't done yet so I know what happens), as well as having fallen in love with res:e7 ages ago a Resident Evil chapter would be beautiful.
Claire and Leon as survivors, with Mr X as the killer? The unstoppable tyrant that plays like a 115% M1 killer but after a certain amount of time can mutate to his Super Tyrant form and kick ass?
Maybe Ethan and Mia, with Evelyn as the killer, able to summon different minions around her (the moulded) to chase survivors, and infect survivors with her mould so they regress actions instead of progressing them?
Maybe even Jill and Carlos, or Jill and Nikolai, facing off against Nemesis?
There's a lot of possibilities and I want it badly lol
-
You can't, it's as simple as that. A decent spirit with a headset and/or stridor will most likely wil every interaction you have with her.
Your best bet is to never be found, but considering how she sees you moving grass/corn (without moving it herself) and you have no idea where she's approaching from at mach 5, good luck with that one too.
-
Survivor: Object of Obsession. I'm not sure I really need to explain.
Killer: NOED. It's a perk that demolishes solo teams whilst SWFs can easily coordinate totem cleansing, and teaches really bad habits to killer players making them reliant on it. It becomes their crutch perk and they need to NOED camp to secure a kill and somehow they safety from it because the solos will rush in to try and save or cleanse the totem. It shouldn't exist.
-
Killers I've got are only the ones I really enjoy playing (or enjoyed at one point) so I have: Wraith, Nurse, Doctor, Bubba, Freddy, and Pyramid Head. Out of them they all have all perks except Doc cause I started disliking him a while back.
Survivors I have: Dwight, Meg, Claudette, Jake, David, Feng, Kate, Jane, Yui, Nancy, and Elodie. Out of them, Elodie is the only one missing all the perks.
Only reason I have more survivors is because they're all the same gameplay wise, and if I didn't grind something in this game I'd have quit a while back.

Hey if it makes you feel any better you're punished for having actively good ping, especially as killer, with hits that shouldn't hit or being robbed of hits you should've gotten.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1843092#Comment_1843092
TBH it is overkill. You get equally valid results using just Thana and Outdoor Rope (2% debuff) and combining it with Pop or Ruin. The problem is Dying Light. The obsession is unaffected AND they get a altruism buff. Also if you kill them you lose the perk, and smart teams will force you to chase the obsession. You also can't eat a single DS because now you can't kill that survivor. One last note, to get the max value out of Dying Light you basically need to kill 2 survivors and have 2 hooks on the third non-obsession. At this point the game would be over anyway so the repair debuff is almost moot.
I edited my post a while back mate, I realised my mistakes almost as soon as I hit post and can't remove the Screenshots on my phone but the writing is correct. The later 1:54am edit was to put the answer at the top.
