Late, but the top pic is Autumn and the lower one is Lucy
Autumn and Lucy are both very cute meow meows and I very much so appreciate getting to meet them

All im saying is that when both walls are broken and the killer doesn't get bloodlust there's a problem
-
Okay imagine this: a ship level.
It's a large cruise ship stuck on a beach. The beach has a hut (the shack) and out in the sea there's a couple of floating buildings all connected by pontoon bridges but be careful on them because they may sink at random intervals.
If you run into or fall into the water you start to drown and can try to swim back to shore, be saved by another survivor, or be pushed down by the killer (who does not drown). If you're drowned by the killer you get transported to a nearby hook, if you're saved by the survivors or yourself you're home free and your drowning meter slowly resets.
Environmental hazards bhvr I am begging you

This is Tilly. She and her 3 siblings will be 11 months old tomorrow! She wishes all the best to everyone needing cuteness today... also she said if you have any cheese left on your plate, she'll gladly polish it off for you.
Edit: Breaking news:
Tilly is adorable and I am glad she made a guest appearance today

For those who cannot use twitter:
Q: "Hey, Do you have an update on the cross progression feature that was supposed to be added to the Switch version of the game? I just hope it didn't get cancelled. I understand that you have a lot of other things to do, but are you still working on this?""
A: "Sure do (but it is a smol update)
We're still ironing out some details with our partners before we are ready to go live with Switch cross progression. It's something the team is still working on, but we are unable to commit to a firm date at this time."
So, the Q2 2021 deadline hasn't been reached and we don't have a replacement date yet.

It's actually spinning in all directions forming the perfect beachball, what you see is just an illusion such motion creates.
So when the hatchet spins like this and most if not all similar weapons irl spin like this (such as a tomohawk), less risk throwing wrong and seriously miss target, it actually does spin a full 360° while staying perfectly on target?
Now, I'd suggest trying some weapon throwing out because not only is it quite fun but you can also see that if you threw a weapon such that it were to spin 360° in the air, it would also never be able to consistently hit a target directly in front of it like the hatchets do.
There is, therefore, absolutely no reason for the hatchet to have a beachball shaped hitbox when a very squashed cylinder works perfectly.

What about 2nd person POVs for killer? Was that ever considered?
What exactly would a 2nd person pov be, considering in writing it involves saying that "you" do/did/will do something, and this cannot translate into video games?

How much more of a downside can you get than unplayable?
No more deathslingers ever doesn't seem like a downside
-
Yeah they're garbage
-
Chains of Hate (it gave us Deathslinger, Dead Dawg Saloon, and Breakable Walls. Zarina is the only redeeming factor of this chapter).
Binding of Kin (Twins could be deleted tomorrow and I wouldn't feel a thing, the perks are garbage, Elodie is the only redeeming factor).
All-Kill (the perks are nice but it bringing Trickster's power into dbd is genuinely unforgivable no matter what).
Darkness Among Us (I played through Old Legion and I played through the bug that made killers completely invisible except their red stain. The bug that still exists today. Jeff is awful, the map is awful, and always has been, and the perks are awful. The only thing that redeems it is that I don't hate everything here combined enough to top Trickster, Twins, or Slinger).
Honourable mention to Shattered Bloodline for bringing in Spirit but, considering this was the last chapter that worked upon initial release (I think it was one of the least buggy times in dbd history, ironic considering DAU was next) I have to forgive it.

Sure, Myers and GF can just stalk from their ear holes huh
But you can crab walk to a generator and either hit them (gf) since you're close enough, before returning to your power in 14 seconds and going for someone else if you're doing hit and run, or continuing to chase them while crabwalking (it's weird but oddly fun), or you can stalk (Myers) since you'll be close enough that even with a los blocker you'll get a lot of progress on them.
Besides the stalking isn't the best bit about gf's kit and is just as broken as Michael on the servers- playing them is like a test of how much bhvr likes you that day
-
I like them
-
Ds wasn't the issue here, that perk is fine. Bt was the problematic one since it allowed her to bodyblock you and almost force your hand into chasing you, ds right now is fine.
Personally I just want survivors with bt to not have collision with the killer- if you're going to be tunneled they're going to wait it out regardless and if you're not going to be tunneled then it makes it much less abusable.
-
So uh, the word "Deutsch" is German for... German.
Turns out saying "ok ich kann Deutsch sprechen" (meaning "ok I can speak German) isn't allowed.
-
@HaunterofShadows said:
yes it does. its swirling in a circular motion goes through the window and hits you
Swirling in a circular direction on one axis isn't a reason for it to be a beachball.
@GeneralV said:
Because if they dare touch Huntress she won't hit anything, as it happened once.
Iirc they tried to make it an accurate hatchet box then but for some reason they've never tried a very squished cylinder. Not publicly anyway

So sorry it wasn't clear with you, it just seems you always have something to say to try and dis credit someone else's experience so. moving on from your comment
Alternatively, and do hear me out because I know this concept is challenging to grasp, but when you post about your experiences- on a public game forum, might I add- it's not entirely unheard of for people to post their experiences as well? And give their opinions on the experiences you shared.
I admit it's not always the most enjoyable passtime but the majority of the time killer for me remains fun. For you, clearly not.
I don't try to discredit others with my experiences- not usually, anyway- but instead attempted to offer a solution to the issue. Evidently this wasn't the clearest of comments I'd created, and so apologies for the confusion, however please note that discrediting you wasn't my intention- only trying to find a solution.
Even if it was very passive aggressive. Sorry about that one.

Karu nobody seems to be playing the same dbd as you anyway so why bother lol
Firstly, please use either the full version of my name (GoodBoyKaru) or shorten it to GBK.
Secondly, that's really odd. Because last I checked I'm playing on version 5.1.0- same as everybody else- and I'm able to SWF with people as normal- which we all know is impossible as you'll get a version mismatch error.
I have people back up my experiences and I also seem to face enough players as both killer and survivor- different players, should clarify- in public lobbies to prove that I'm playing the same version of DBD as everyone else.
I'm really sorry that you're bad enough at DBD that you feel the need to think that just because I don't think playing killer is equivalent to the 7th circle of hell I must not be playing the same video game as you, but allow me to point out that the only constant in your matches is you.

I win more games against Spirit than I do Blight.
"But Spirit has no counterplay!" yes she does, you don't get detected in the first place. Stop playing your toxic flashlight teabag build and you'll do well against her. Dupe her around LOS blockers and she can lose you. Outplay her phase, and she has to wait 15 seconds before she gets another one.
A Ruin-Undying Blight with Tinkerer is unstoppable. You cannot repair gens within him rushing straight to you within 10 seconds of hitting 70%.
Just wait till you realise Ruin Undying Tinkerer can be used on Spirit too, only she can move faster than Blight can with add-ons.

Yes, this is every perk and add-on.
-
I said this half a year before and I'll try to remember my comment from back then:
"Everything was peaceful, and survivors and killers chased in harmony. That was, until they arrived... The map reworks, corrupting our elders and transforming the youth... Things were never the same."

Survivors already have enough going in their favor. There's absolutely no reason you can't bring the already existing item with you that does exactly what you want. There are more than enough ways to make up for not bringing in a toolbox or med-kit.
And yet a swf don't have to while solos do? Meaning there will always be a massive imbalance between swf and solos and while this imbalance continues to exist the devs cannot effectively balance killers around the 4man.
4man SWFs have enough going for them. Solos don't have nearly enough.

Alright, but I'd reduce the maximum height of the Beam. A "strong" player still has to learn map layouts, even on open maps. This method allows strong players to circumvent most of that learning process with regards to transfer of knowledge. Or, can be used to totally troll players. (ehjehehe)
Oh I agree it shouldn't be a direct copy paste but jesus I am so desperate for literally anything not tied to a perk, item, offering, or add-on at this point.
-
@Exxodus21 said:
So, bring a map. Problem solved.
Solos shouldn't have to use perks, items, or offerings for information that SWF get for free and this being the case perpetuates the lack of balance in this game.
-
Windows. Bubba will tear you apart in an open space and chews through pallets like granola. Windows are the one thing he cannot counter with his power and is reduced to the typical 115 killer for. If he's using bamboozle, then use the counter to that perk and chain tiles together (like Shack and a nearby L-T wall for example).
Don't greed. He punishes that very well so pre-drop pallets to be safe and only loop the windows. Asides from that it's time to hold w and pray.
Split up. Bubba can instadown multiple survivors at once and with perks like Tinkerer is very good at it. Split up on gens moreso than usual to make sure this won't happen- should be doing this anyway against all killers tbh.
Heal up in safe zones. Don't heal in a dead zone because again he can multi-down and then he's got multiple people down. Since he can insta down if you remain injured it's not that bad anyway, particularly with Dead Hard if you have it.
If he's camping, leave. The hooked survivor is a lost cause and trying to save them will lose you as well. Don't even bother. Do a gen or get a gate just don't try and save unless you're in a SWF, have BT, and/or plan to do something incredibly stupid.
Edit: Also be very mindful of positioning. If you think he's near try to make it to a window and if you think he's going to come to you get out of a dead zone. The w key is your friend- he has no movement power and so map traversal is poor.
-
There was one incredibly tragic month where I ran no defence Spirit. Instead it was BBQ, Third Seal, Thrill, and Stridor.
Then a friend of me opened my eyes to how awful blindness is for solos and how it doesn't kick in on the teams you need it and I returned to pgtw once more.

Dude, my 4-man comms would love this. My bro loves to use Inner strength, and I always use detectives hunch, if I could quite literally just make it obvious for him where it is, that be even more awesome.
"There's a totem in the short wall by Shack"
Makes literally zero difference to a, quote, "strong on-comms 4man". Note the lack of a comma- a 4man strong on comms will know every tile and be able to call out locations of whatever they pass easily.
And for indoor maps, it's harder to call out, which is great because as noted by OP it'll also be harder to see these on indoor maps.
-
It's a solo buff that doesn't affect a strong on-comms 4man in any meaningful way, I'm so on board.
-
If it makes you feel better, so is "Deutsch" (which is German for... German.)
(for context the killer was VPNing from Mexico and I got petty)
-
Blackout seems far too weak.
Backstab seems pretty fair, would be best on stealth killers, but could just keep helping to encourage the whole "stay injured use dead hard" meta we've been in for ages.
Insanity seems... Yeah nah I hate this
-
Why change your mind from the objectively correct choice?
-
I wouldn't be mad if it was anime (like Sachiko from Corpse Party- yes it's also a game, I know) but, like- anime is the animation form, and DDLC is a Visual Novel. They're two completely seperate forms of media lmao.
@TheMadCat said:
What is DDLC?
In case people somehow haven't seen Doki Doki Literature Club and would like to, spoilers.
Doki Doki Literature Club, a visual novel/dating sim released for free on Steam in 2017 which featured one of the characters (Monika) being gifted sentience that she existed inside of a video game, and so to date the player she messes with the other character files, leading to... unfortunate accidents. Such as one of the girls, Sayori, hanging herself, or another one, Yuri, stabbing herself to death as you sit with her corpse for a weekend.
The game was released for consoles, and re-released for Steam, in 2021 as "Doki Doki Literature Club Plus" or "DDLC+", which features new bonus features like side stories of the characters (before Monika was granted sentience) artwork, soundtracks, and a lot of foreshadowing for the next project.
(A key gameplay feature of DDLC and DDLC+ is entering the game files to see what has been changed, and in DDLC+ this is taken to a new extreme).
-
I mean no offence here
-
Well, that makes one of you I guess
