I think it'd be worse if they only gave him a cosmetic every time pride month comes around tbh. It would give big "token character we don't care about the rest of the year" energy.
I assume he didn't get anything because he dropped in popularity, but I wish that wasn't the case because I am so tired of the same six survivors being featured in every collection. I love Feng Min but I've stopped buying her cosmetics over a year ago because she's got more than enough and there's no point buying stuff I'm barely gonna use.
And tbh the existing cosmetics for David aren't great. I don't like any of his head cosmetics besides the default one and its blond recolor (which was also free i think). Hopefully he gets some good stuff this year.
The Valentines and Lifeguard ones are solid but outside of that his headpieces are pretty awful

An option to be able to play with random perks every match for 1.5x bp and 1.5x match exp

Giving David pride themed cosmetics during pride month would basically just turn him into the token gay character. As far as why not anything else I don't know. How marketable is David King?
Well by BHVR's own admission he was one of their most popular male survivors. Then they just stopped.

This is false Jake would be joining in

As long as this event lasts an extra week so I can actually help progress these challenges 😭

David should get costumes but you need to understand this: BHVR is company. Ofcourse they will focus on characters who makes more money for them.
You people really expect them to stop make costumes for Kate, Feng, Mikaela, Yun Jin, Meg etc while they sell like crazy? Who brings more money gets more effort. That's natural part of business.
Remember when they revealed David as gay and said he was consistently one of the most popular characters? And then they just stopped giving him anything which caused his playerbase to drop off and go towards the characters that did get skins?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.

while i dont know why someone ressurected this thread
its important to note, the victim was a twelve year old boy.
assault against boys and men is often pushed under the rug
so even if it was a typing mistake i think it should be said
Ah, apologies. The article I was reading said it was a girl.

My Steam name for ages was "ugh my pussy talk" (and omg there's such a funny story about that name on these forums) and whenever someone asked "What's it saying" it'd just make me cackle.
Anyway it's currently "Boykisser" and I've had a bunch of friendly comments
And my personal favourite, this David who gave me his flashlight after the game after I flirted with him in pregame chat
-
Getting discordance procs is actually nice because I'd rather they group up on gens than split up and pop 3 different ones simultaneously. You're better off chasing the 2 off a gen, then chasing one, getting the down, getting the hook, then going back to pressure the other survivor. This forces one of the two to run across the entire map and suddenly you've gotten a lot of pressure.
-
The perk does not activate it's cooldown if you do not complete the sabotage.
Sabotage no longer takes precedent over the healing action at a hook.
Reduced cooldown from 90/75/60 seconds to 60/50/40 seconds.

Marry: Wraith or Trapper (ODDFELLOWS has rotted my brain) or maybe Joey.
#########: Pyramid Head (need I elaborate) or Legion- specifically Frank.
Kill: Anyone else 🕳️👩🏻🦯

To me, for both sides, my idea of fun is where everybody is able to play a long and rewarding game. It doesn't matter if I win or lose in the end, provided I've had plenty of time to express my skill and earn points, and I've been able to give others the chance to do so as well.
Obviously, this means that facecamping, tunneling, etc. are all really unfun both for me to deal with and for me to do, alongside rushing gens or just generally bm'ing other players. There's nothing fun about finishing a game in 3 minutes because you were hard tunneled, or equally in 5 because the other team brought 4x god boxes with BNPs, when you're just trying to vibe and play the game. There is something so incredibly enjoyable about a close 15 minute long match where it's down to the wire- everyone is on death hook and it's a nail biting race to finish that last gen and get out, all the while you're trying to run a killer with minimum resources. It just scratches an itch in the one singular fold on my brain.
12 hook games, as both sides, are far more enjoyable than games where someone is denied the ability to play the game. Just being able to play dbd is what I find fun, and it's a shame so many anti-fun tactics exists and it's even more of a shame they're so effective.

Them lowering the saturation to stop me getting eye strain and just generally allowing me to track anyone is a general win actually
-
Get 2 killers because you've got access to 6 more perks for better build variety and you're more likely to find someone you find enjoyable if you've got 2 shots rather than just the 1.

If anything needs to be punished it is people running luck builds and the persons who thought it was a good idea to make luck a stat in the game. It legit does one thing and it does it poorly at that.
Whenever I see someone running a luck build I know that is a teammate who is gonna kill themselves trying to get a kobe for the content.
I'd argue that luck builds are more consistent at kobeing than Deliverance just given the nature of the Deliverance Curse.

I believe BHVR is based in Canada (I could be wrong), so you have to consider that when translating timezones. A bit unfortunate for those in Oceania, EU, Africa, and Asia, since you have to put it more work just to understand times/dates that things release.
I live in the US (Central Standard Time, or CST) and the event starts at 10 AM for me, since the timezone they posted on Twitter was 11 AM EST (Eastern Standard Time, sometimes expressed as ET instead). You will have to do some translations to your timezone.
The funny thing is that I've been doing this rodeo so long I just kinda auto translate the times now

Bug report here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/379849/did-not-receive-charms-upon-purchasing-armored-dlc-pack#latest
Status is "Under Review" so it seems like they should unlock, or the bug report would be closed / marked as invalid.
i mean its literally marked as a known issue in the patch notes
-
They are supposed to be, yes, although there's currently a bug preventing this. It will be fixed in a future update and charms given retroactively.

Thematically, it does the opposite of that.
Therefore, it wasn't good at it.
-
@GentlemanFridge said:
Thematically, Shadowborn has to be a tracking perk, since all of Wraith’s perks are tracking perks (albeit tragically bad). So I like the idea of simply seeing tbe survivors themselves better, but I have to wonder if eliminating stealth is maybe a bit too much.
As for M&A, I’m still not sure why it even affected the FoV anyway. It’s too negligible to really help you find survivors, and it changing when a chase starts is just motion sickness trigger.
Thematically, M&A changed FOV to allow you to monitor the area and then tunnel vision once you've found someone to abuse. It just wasn't good at it.

Here is what I don't get a out the Frank change.....I get that it was a good play to make Special Items immune to the Perk and was a good call.
But why do Survivors get to keep their item and then get to hold the special item too. That's what made those special items a risk vs reward. Do you take a Sadoko Tape to cancel a TP spot but have to drop your med kit or toolbox to do it. Now there is no risk vs reward there is just reward.

Because players cannot just not be dicks and would take an item, particularly a rarer one, and lord it over the other player all game just because. Same thing that happened with "item teching" except they just lucked out because it was a certain killer and can now bm a player who dared to bring in an item (usually equipped with sandbagging too because DBD randoms just can't help themselves).
Also, you've never had to drop an item for Sadako's tapes. They've always been shared.

If this is true isn't the hotfix 2 next week?
Following normal patterns, yeah. Usually Hotfix 1 is the week after the patch, and Hotfix 2 is normally the week after, hence why I think there'll be 2 weeks of anni to play Whiskas
-
Just to let you guys know, nothing has been confirmed but currently there's a target ETA on fixing him in Hotfix 2, giving you about 2 of the 3 weeks of the Anniversary to level and play Whiskas. I'd like to repeat, not yet a confirmed date, just a target.
-
Paladins is the only other multilayer game I play frequently and oh my word there are bugs galore. Have been since Open Beta and I don't think we'll ever escape them.
Though also, Paladins is currently being developed by a team of like 8 people and they're doing a better job of bugfixing than when it was a team of 50 all because they're stopped pumping out a new champion every 2-3 months. So there's that, at least.

With old Franklins, hitting a Survivor with a syringe or spray can would make it drop but not lose charges. Therefore a Hoarder Franklins build would allow Nemesis/Wesker to interrupt Survivors from removing infection, which can be devastating especially on Wesker. While the Killers aren’t affected as much as compared to Pinhead, it removes build variety in a meta that is already restricting viable builds for Killers.
"It removes build variety" when all I ever saw was Pinheads using Franklin's. Like it wasn't build variety because it was in every single build, and I can guarantee the same would be said for Larry if they didn't make these changes.

Sloppy, Bamboozle, Jolt and PGTW are the ones I'm going with so far. Haven't played it a whole lot but hey it's working thusfar.

"everything" when literally only this perk has been complained.
This perk unironically kills lot more killers than dead hard, yes it's real.
Off the top of my head, I've seen (not forums exclusive):
-Prove is as bad as DH
-MTF is as bad as DH
-SB is worse than DH
-Adren is worse than DH
-UB is as bad as DH
-New BT is worse than DH
-The Deja Vu buff will be as bad as DH
-Blood Rush is gonna be as bad as DH
-
I feel like we need to bring back old Dead Hard For Distance just to get people to stop comaining that everything is as bad as Dead Hard. I did not suffer through DH being meta for like 4 years just for it to be diminished like this.
