That's what "over correct" means.
His hit box was too big on the PTB, so they attempted to correct it, but they over did it and now its too small.
Really they just needed to reduce his world collison box size. The collision for the grab was fine.
-
Wesker is fun when you get lucky enough to get a match where his power doesnt bug out in any of the numerous ways it can break.
Dashing through Survivors without grabbing them...
Grabbing Survivors and then just doing nothing to them...
Failing to dash up/down slopes....
Failing to vault a pallet/window you dashed at....
Not properlly hitting nearby Survivors after a vault...
So basically maybe every 1 in 20 Wesker matches is fun.
Seriously why did they release him in this state.

The point of the PTB is to gain hype.
Almost nothing is fixed from the PTB, only game-breaking bugs, and even those are rarely fixed. Remember release day Twins and how 5 out of 6 Perks just didn't work at all? Yeah, this is that again but to a lesser extent
I remember playing Twins on release day and as soon as I deployed Victor, Charlotte got stuck in the ground and couldnt do anything for the rest of the match.
-
It's actually crazy how many problems they released him with.
Like, isnt the whole point of having a PTB to make sure new characters actually work when they come out.
-
Remove zombie, give rocket launcher
-
They made one of the worst maps in the game even worse. Incredible.
-
Literally the only character I could tolerate on that show.

Uuuuuhhhhh, have we played the same og RE3? It's the SAME EXACT THING. What you want pixelated Jill in the game? That's the only difference I can find.
No it isnt. The hair is different, the boots are a bit different, the straps/holsters are different, her skirt is replaced with a skort, and the colors are all significantly more washed out.

Classic RE3 Jill is already a cosmetic.
No it isnt. The RE3R "Classic" costume is in the game, but that's not the -actual- classic RE3 Jill. It's very different.
I still dont get what the point of Capcom adding a "Classic" outfit to the game was if it wasnt actually going to be the classic outfit. But RE3R in general made a lot of questionable changes from the original.

Killer BP gains are alright, could maybe use a bit of a boost.
Survivor gains on the other hand need a massive boost. Hell, maybe even just a total reworking of their score events. You need to do so many things in one match just to get a decent score, and most of those things are dependant on the behaviour of other players.
You cant get much Objective points if the Killer frequently chases you. You cant get much Altruism points if your team-mates are good enough to keep looping the killer. You cant get much Boldness points if the Killer never chases you. Survival as an entire category has barely any possiblity for score gain other than escaping.
-
The entire Hex mechanic needs a rework.
-
RE3 Classic Jill and RE3 Classic Nemesis. Absolutely cannot stand the remake redesigns.
-
I think it depends on the Killer. If it's a Killer that only downs via M1s, then Surge is probably better. If the Killer can down with M2s, you're probably better off with Pain Resonance.
-
It's basically useless on every single Killer other than Legion and Plague now.
-
Ehhh... like, you might as well add it as a option in the graphics settings, since if people really want a crosshair they can just download an overlay or even just stick a small piece of tape to their screen.
-
People are literally just giving up because they get downed once. Crazy. Like, way to ruin the game for the rest of the players.
They really need to punish DCs harder and remove killing yourself on hook.

bro ghostface is not awful if he was then I wouldnt go against him as the killer every other survivor game
He is. You facing him frequently does not magically make a bad killer good. Once you get to decent MMR levels I guarantee you will stop seeing him except like maybe once every 100 matches.
-
Ghostface is awful, what the hell are you talking about.
-
I never said they didn't, what does that have to do with anything?
-
Perk tiers literally only exist to bloat the grind. It was okay at launch when there was like only 20 perks per side, but now it has no good reason to exist.
-
As a Killer, no. As a Survivor, sure.
-
DCs definitley need to be punished harder, but at the same time there is really no point to doing so when hook suicide exists, since it's functionally the same as a DC, but you dont get punished for doing it. Killing yourself on hook should just be removed from the game as well.
-
I have 48 of the 59 characters, over 80%, at Prestige 3, and I am glad it's a basically nothing reward.
Exclusive stuff is dumb, nobody in any game should ever permanently miss out on stuff just because they did not start playing as early as some people or have as much free time to play as some people.
-
It's hardly a nerf at all. Hell, in some situations it's actually BETTER than it used to be.
-
Its not that big of a rework. It will absolutley still be one of the most used and most powerful perks in the game, as it's still on-demand invincibility that you can use while moving forward.
-
It's a hex. That's enough of a downside already.
-
Him going into his teleport mode makes him slow as hell, you can very easily run over to the next loop.
-
Dredge is easily my favorite Killer they have released in years. Fun to play as, fun to play against, and not a complete joke like so many other Killers (coughsadakocough).
-
Nurse is literally my favorite Killer to play against.
-
@N8dog said:
over 30 votes and NOBODY has said killer... I bet some people would if dead hard didn't exist
Make that 50 votes now. Still 0 votes for Killer lmao.
-
BHVR does not have a good track record over the past 5+ years.
-
Blindness really just doesnt do much and is never worth it on its own.
Especially since whenever a Survivor is hooked, a big black bubble thing appears, making the blocking aura pointless.
Blindness and Oblivious should probably be rolled into a single status effect.
-
No, no, no. Exclusive stuff is dumb. Just give a bunch of free Irishards.
-
Not even a close competition.

Well its one of the silliest. Its like say the killer is kill rushing if they keep getting hooks quickly.
People do say that though, they just call it tunneling.
-
Nearly every single one of his addons are useless. His base kit could use some buffs too though, specifically making trails less terrible to place and making them better once they are placed.
-
Remove the dash, make it a standing dodge.
-
1) Mid 2020 about, effectively replaced it with closing the hatch.
2) No
3) Horrible. Not to say its much better now though.
4) Game is better now than it used to be, but again, that's not saying much considering how absolutley wretched early DBD was, and there are still a lot of problems that still exist today that are still from that era.
5) You used to just get downed after 40 seconds.
6) Because he was very boring and tedious to play against. He was like a fly constantly buzzing around your head, not a threat to you in the slightest, but extremely annoying.

I dont think the Auto Mori mechanic is going to be very popular. From what i've read through reactions on the dev stream chat and Fog Whisperer chats, its being heavily criticized. Honestly, as killer, I should be able to grant mercy or un-mercy where I see fit. Forcing this takes away from the "power trip" killers are supposed to have.
Sure you can just let them go and not down them.. But what about those people who play really scummy? Carrying them to the hatch and then slamming them on a hook creates a reason to continue playing killer.
As a survivor main, if I am to die, I wish it to be creatively. To the point of absurdity. The current state of Moris(80%-ish) and death in general are fairly tame and pretty stale.
I imagine that the auto-mori bit is not going to be implemented in the way the described it as that could cause some issues. Like for example, what if the survivor was downed in a position where they fall off a ledge and the killer is still on top of the ledge.
They will probably just let the Killer choose to Mori the last survivor for free. Basically just making the yellow mori offering base kit.
-
It would actually be interresting to get Englund Freddy with a differnt powerset, yeah. Maybe with some influence from pre-rework Freddy (Obviously redesigned to be less complete garbage though), like being able to see auras of sleeping survivors.
I doubt it would ever happen though.
-
Most of the proposed changes seem pretty good, though BHVR has a extremely strong track record of screwing things up or even just outright not delivering on promises.
The perk changes are the biggest point of doubt for me; I have zero confidence that they will handle them well.
I guarantee they will heavily nerf things that dont need to be nerfed at all, and things that desperately need major nerfs will get a slap on the wrist.
-
I wouldnt personally buy them, but I imagine a lot of other people would.
Honestly suprised that it's not already a thing. As soon as the shop was added to the game I was sure that alternate mori animations were coming, but years later, they never did.
Hell, maybe they will add them after the Finisher Mori mechanic is added the game, since buying something that you can only use if you also have an offering or a specific perk would have been kinda dumb.

How are other players “punished”?
It’s literally the contrary. Players who don’t prestige get the benefit of being able to prestige without the immense grind, whereas prestiged players are rewarded for their commitment up to this point.
If the reward is something exclusive, then it's something they have permanently missed out on just for simply not having as much play time as other people. Losing out on something is a punishment.
Permanently missable stuff is dumb.
-
The only thing I would change about No Mither is that if the No Mither user manages to escape, they and all their team-mates get bonus bloodpoints.
-
MMR doesnt need to be removed, but it does need to be reworked entirely. It's a ridiculously bad system in its current state.
-
Still very mediocre. Just some very minor buffs is not enough to make him a decent character, he needs actual kit changes.
-
Why was this change made. Literally who asked for this.
-
Dead Hard is by far the most overpowered perk in the game, nothing else comes close to it.
-
Yeah, I noticed that too. Autohaven is like twice as dark compared to the average map. Yamaoka is pretty darker than average as well, though not as bad as Autohaven.
-
There should be an option to disable it. I dont understand why it even exists in the first place.
It's also just ridiculously poorly designed, it censors completely innocuous stuff all the time.
For example, it censors "hooking". You know, a central mechanic of the game.
