Sortof. Tunneling is actively chasing one specific person whereas camping is typically standing around or close to the hook. I guess you could say that tunneling is a form of camping (not letting that specific person escape and further play the game)Solafide said:Excellent, ty! Tunneling = The killer chooses to focus on the person most recently hooked so that they die faster. -

Grim Pantry is my favorite map gameplay wise. The 3 storied house (when the basement is in if) is like its own 1v1 minimap. -

WGLF was more worthwhile when it maxed at 200% instead of 100%. I agree that it should have some kind of side effect now that it is half its original strength. Maybe something like “When you unhook a survivor, it reveals the aura of the unhooked survivor to other survivors for 2/3/4 seconds.” Something that doesn’t matter much but would still make the perk feel more worthwhile.

Agree with this. Players would play the survivor with the best passive advantages, no matter how small, because of perceived min/maxing. A lot of this discussion is based on what the killer/survivor “deserves” based on their performance. The problem with those arguments is that there is a lot of RNG in this game. Regardless of your skill you can’t control:
-The perks/items other survivors have (for me at least who mostly plays solo)
-What Killer it is (which changes playstyle and thus may improve or hurt your chosen builds) and their perks
-The map
-Your starting position and how it relates to other survivors and the killer
-What other survivors do in the game (if they pay attention to gen placement, if they’re altruistic, good at chases, etc)
-What the killer does in the game (will they camp or not?)
I’m glad the devs accounted for that and gave the hatch as a potential escape but I also look forward to how they fix the hatch standoff problem. -
I think it’s fine as is with every map having an equal chance of appearing. I would, however, like an increased chance to see the new map the first two weeks it comes out.

I think you made a lot of good points here.
Another point, the Nurse/Huntress/Billy’s drawbacks are all self-caused (poor aim/direction) that skill and experience will reduce. Hag, Trapper, and Wraith can all be sabotaged by an uncontrollable force (survivors) in comparison and these cannot be as improved by skill and experince. Trapper/Hag can always be countered by survivors with specific items (or perk) regardless of how well their traps are placed and Wraith needs to hope he can destealth before being lightburned.
I’ve said in another thread that I am all for play and counter play options but it only works when everyone has equal number of play/counterplay options. And I think you’ve revealed that isn’t the case. -
Where are you getting discredited for being on console? I haven’t seen anyone do this on these forums (but I admit I’m not in every thread).
As for general console hate, console (which is also debated) versus PC will never end. There is no specific reason to hate on one or the other besides PC exclusives and consoles getting updates later than PC. Visuals and controls will always come down to preference/availability (of playing on console or PC). -

Every time a survivor t-bags for the third time this match their aura is permanently revealed to everyone. All future t-bagging for that survivor becomes twerking. -
There have been issues in the past where if you haven’t been placed in a lobby by X minutes it says it’s still searching for one but actually isn’t. The game should be forcing you into a lobby after a certain amount of time regardless of the killer’s ranks compared to survivor’s.
If it happens again try canceling the search and starting a new one (I believe Triangle on PS4? Y on xbox). If that still doesn’t work then relaunch the app like was previously suggested.
I’ve had the issue before as well playing both solo and with other people and the last resort, relaunching the game, had always worked. -
Be aware that a lot of people who disagree with changing the current gens system are doing so because of fun factor. Just like it’s unfun for the killer to chase one survivor for 5 minutes, it’s unfun to sit on a generator for 5 minutes watching the killer chase another survivor.
From what I’m seeing on the forums a number of both killers and survivors are looking for an additional objective to help distract from the generators. Whatever the solution is, adding more time for the survivors to sit and stare at a generator, whether that be increasing repair time or number of generators to do, isn’t the answer.

For console, you can invite other survivors into a party for voice chat. Or the killer after the game to talk to them and maybe play together in the future. Yes to a totem in the basement (have it spawn whichever corner the chest doesn’t). Also maybe hex totems don’t light up to show they’re hex totems until they are actually active?
Perk Name - What Lights It Up:
Devour Hope - First Token
Huntress Lullaby - First Skill Check after First Hook
No One Escapes Death - Unchanged (lights up when all generators powered)
Ruin - First ruin skill check
Third Seal - First Injured/Knocked Down Survivor
Thrill of the Hunt - Survivor Starts Cleansing a Totem
So basically every time you receive the buff/icon notification is when the totem actually lights up and becomes a hex totem with the exception being NOED because the killer still receives a speed/attack swing boost even if they don’t knock someone down. -

I feel the prices are fine considering 80% can be unlocked with game time and that seems like an acceptable trade (pay $$ or time) in the current video game industry.

Another mode: All random in KYF. Use online random number generators to determine perks, items/addons, and offerings. Bonus fun for whoever is killing to choose their killer randomly. -
