Find a group to play Kill Your Friends with (if you don’t already have one) to have fun/random games with in between regular matches.
For example I play 1 gen = escape with one of my friends (1 killer vs 1 survivor, no brand new part or overcharge, everything else is fair game, survivor does one generator they win). Or hide n seek using stealth (not Freddy) killers where the survivors have to try to find the killer. -
Trapper main. I get the most satisfaction when during a chase I’m able to corral a survivor into a trap I set ages ago. Plus he has good base stats so even if no one steps in a trap at least I can still be competent. Aaaaand his prestige 3 body looks the best.

Or if no emotes let the killers (beyond Pig) t-bag so we can all communicate! PAmanda55 said:@GhostEuant said:

Would be good to get a buff to my favorite/main killer. I like suggestions in this thread. I’m thinking:
-Tossing the trap (very short range) and it lands armed.
-Start with 2 traps and have a 2 trap carrying capacity
-Add traps to lockers but keep the max number of traps
-Instead of struggling out and having a chance to make it or not, survivors get a difficult skill check every X seconds. Slippery Meat increases the skill check size. Can’t make the skill check? Can’t get out yourself. Addons that affect struggle speed instead increase/decrease the time between skill checks. -
Agree that it shouldn’t be ranked (since ranking rrrreeeallly doesn’t matter anyway) but I think I’d rather someone dodge a lobby than disconnect from the match.powerbats said:Doing completely random stuff for both sides while not using any of you own stuff up would be interesting. For instance it could randomly choose a common all the way up to ultra rare addon(s) and or offering. But based upon the loot tables of what's actually there in game not what you actually have in inventory.
To make it even more fun and challenging both killers and survivors will have their choice chosen at random from all owned ones and you won't know who you get until the game actually loads. This would keep ppl from dodging if they find out who they got to try and farm better options. The same would be true for perks and addons. You'd get a popup window for say 10 secs or so at start of match where no movement is allowed to be able to see what you get.
The one thing that should happen is this shouldn't be a ranked mode since no one is going to want to risk depipping to play it. You could make it so the person can choose whether they want to risk ranking or not and if they lose they lose double what they'd normally lose but can gain 2x as much if they survive.

Amen. My least favorite thing in this game is watching survivors watch the camping killer.Damaho said:Just let the killer camp, it's a valid and obvious strategy which has a surprisingly easy counter to it: Just do gens. Only the hardcore campers that enjoy camping for campings sake will continue to camp when camping results in an "Entity displeased" screen and a lost pip. The only problem why this will never happen is that survivors are plainly too stupid to get it.
Just today I had a game where a hag camped someone. You would think that after you got hit and she lets you run away because she wants to protect the hook, you would simply go away and do gens. But this would be intelligent, so of course the other two survivors wouldn't do that. They'd rather drop everything they were doing and try to get the unhook, which resulted in of course 3 dead survivors, one gen to do and an easy hatch escape for me.
Now tell me: Why shouldn't the hag camp next time as well? Apparently camping results in gens not progressing which is something you want as killer. So yeah, good job enforcing that behaviour. The same can be said for survivors that kill themselves on the hook when they get camped. If survivors really hated camping that much they wouldn't always reward camping but apparently survivors like camping killers. Why else would they give them an easy win? -
You’re still including perks, addons, and full legacy as arguments against this person for no reason. Just saying something is an indication of a cheater doesn’t make it so.Brawler said:Ok I think I didn't explain it propertly.
So every time I got close to him he just sprinted (like with Sprint Burst) a few meters forward and then started running normally (when he made a distance and ran away from me). That happened EVERY TIME I was about to hit him, - within 40 seconds (so the time it takes to recover from exhaustion) he did it like 4/5 times, so that is not possible. Also when I was blinking to hit him, he started running faster than normal. Legacy outfit, perks and items can only confirm, that he is using cheats.
Don't tell me I am new, cause I know how do cheats look like and what perks can eventually make me think someone is a cheater.
But without video proof there’s really no where this thread can go. You’ll say your side and that’s not proof of anything. Plus without his username (which I’m not asking you to provide on the forums) there’s nothing the devs can do. Next time just report him with your reasonings and if he is legit cheating then others will also report him and he’ll eventually get banned. -
If it could be implemented without taking too many resources away from future content then I am allllllll for it. I would love bloody shirtless David.

I like making Sabo to match Self Care and I like the little trap aspect BUT I think a survivor can only booby trap one hook a match (otherwise everyone could use it and booby trap literally every hook except basement). After that all other sabotaging of hooks are normal. So it would be:
Sabotage:
You may now sabotage hooks at 50% normal speed without the use of the toolbox. Increases the efficiency of using a toolbox to sabotage a hook by 10%/15%/20%.
Once per trial when you would fully sabotage a hook, the hook isn’t disabled but will break the next time the killer tries to hook a survivor on it. -
I’m looking forward to the posts that don’t read the part where the OP says they know about daily rituals.robin said:I came into this thread about to DEVASTATE you by saying something clever and witty about there already being daily rituals.
but then I read a good idea
But yes I would be very into that. Maybe just a dedicated separate all random mode that awards more bloodpoints? The survivor and killer (and outfit, with the option to have outfit items you don’t own), items/addons, perks, and offerings are all random. Each time you join a new lobby you get 1 free reroll. May make SWF with more bearable (they don’t all come in with flashlights and meta perks) and force people to try perks/killers they wouldn’t normally but still have a reroll in case you get someone/something you detest.
-
Him having tier 3 perks should be expected, having a flashlight with good addons is common, and being legacy 3 doesn’t mean he’s a cheater.
It’s possible when you blinked and swung you just weren’t close enough to connect so him running away was just running away. -
I love it because it lets me kill my friends without the legal reprocussions usually associated with such acts

Edit: Love all of the people who came here just to say they DON’T love this game. -
The problem I’ve experienced with the button mashing (with controller, I just play on console) is that lag will cause you to die unintentionally. Like you could be pressing it constantly but lag will cause an input delay making the game think you stopped hitting it.
-
It’s a valid strategy. The problem with camping, in my opinion, arises when the other survivors just sit and watch the hooked survivor/killer not doing anything OR rush in to unhook anyway when it’s obvious the killer is camping.
-
I think remove the exposed part of Raven’s Call and increase the number of ravens sent out and the cooldown to retrieve them and make the exposed an addon. So like 2-3 ravens sent out, ability has a 15 second cooldown, shows a hit survivor’s aura for 10 seconds. Also maybe instead of the charge having a cooldown, The Raven builds a charge each time they hit a survivor with Raven’s Call. I just think having both abilities need a cooldown would
frustrate people.
-
Shameless bump.
-
You only have 1 rank in Self Care, Adrenaline, and Sprint Burst? lr2play
-
Everytime I see these posts I ask myself if this is a killer expecting 2 kills (which is the average) and feels the game isn’t balanced properly to do that or 4 kills (which should be rare) because they feel entitled to it. This one seems like a killer just looking to get 4 easy kills every game.
-
Play Detective Tapp until level 40, getting all of the teachable perks, then play Ace and just pretend he’s the detective.
-
I disagree with your assessment of killer speeds.
-
Whispers should be buffed because the WHISPER is too quiet....? I hope you realize that the perk lights up when active so you don’t even need to hear the WHISPERS.
Also what perk on PC are you talking about that gives all the benefits of No Mither without being injured? The perks are the same between both games except the icons for Bill’s perks are different on PC. -
Don’t buy what you don’t want. If enough people aren’t buying maybe they’ll consider reducing their prices. If people do buy them at current price (and remember everyone complaining on these forums is probably 25% or less of the entire playerbase) then it can be considered to be acceptable prices. Justify your complaints however you want but if the prices don’t change it’s because enough people are paying for them and thus enough people consider it to be reasonable pricing.
Note: I would love it if the skins were free or much cheaper but I don’t expect it/complain about it because they are being sold for the purpose of generating revenue.
-
If by stacking you mean increase the range the killer can’t see hook auras that’s one thing and I say might as well. If by stacking you mean reducing the range the killer can’t see hook auras then that would be a nerf to boil over.
-
Thank you for shirtless David and lettuce Hag.
Oh and the game is fun too
-
Maybe they should just remove the “Leave Game” button so people have to actually shut the client down externally to disconnect. It may discourage some people from actually doing it.
-
The only t-bagging I pay attention to is those who t-bag after dropping a pallet like it was some masterful play and not something everyone does. Then I reward them with making sure they die that game.
All other t-bagging is ignored. -
Yeah I got to rank 1 on both just to do it. Now I perpetually just stay between ranks 20 to 14 cus it doesn’t really matter.
-
Love it! Maybe a water based one too? She could have like an elemental thing going.
-
Not me. Will be buying when he is released on console.
-
Again maybe it’s your rank/time of day but that has a lot to do with survivor skill. Most “good” survivors know to stand still after being unhooked to get healed then and there instead of the unhooker having to chase the unhooked for no reason but to waste time. Also there’s a perk that increases healing speed after unhooking someone that I would think is more likely to be used by more skilled survivors who can better plan the best time to unhook.LatexT said:And now it seems they heal almost instantly when they get off the hook. Before it took a good 20 or 15 seconds, now I see their icons change in 5, when I'm already chasing someone else. Things have gotten too fast for our standards... They need to do something
-
Seems to me that it would have the opposite effect. Killers would be more willing to hook in/camp the basement since it means the survivor will be sacrificed after two hooks instead of three.Soren said:A rework idea I read a while ago:
Monstruous Shrine skips one hook state, BUT the current hook state is two times longer.
In other words: first hook will be 2 times longer, but the hook directly after will be a sacrifice.
This perk will be powerful, yet situational (because of the basement) + no need to specifically camp since hook timer is two timers longer.
-
Should be the accepted answer. Console had to pay $10 more than PC for those two chapters. Following the release of console versions and going forward, anything PC pays for, or has access to, console will as well. They’ve said many times they don’t want any more exclusivity.weirdkid5 said:Clown is not free.
Doctor and Hag were only free because you pay for more content on the Console version. It's 30 bucks as opposed to the PC 20 I believe.
It included all the non licensed DLC to that point. You will have to buy him.

I also agree that the prices are fine because:
-They are optional, more optional than chapter content imo. When people point out they’re more expensive than chapters are they wishing the prices of chapters should increase? I think we should be glad at how cheap chapters have been/are, not complain that more optional things are more expensive than something that directly impacts gameplay.
-80% can be bought with game time
-Only one outfit can be worn at a time
-You can buy individual pieces of most outfits if you don’t want the whole thing. -
I do actually see people use Monstrous Shrine in dedicated basement builds. And “deciated ______” builds are fine to me. I think more perks should be more situational based to encourage build diversity. The good perks are the ones with the widest relevance.Star99er said:
Situational Perks are a negative, that’s why no one uses them. You don’t see anyone using Bitter Murmur, Dark Sense, or this do you?GhostEuant said:I think it’s fine as is. The majority of perks are situational so that shouldn’t be held as a negative for it.
To someone who plans on running around the whole game getting chased by the killer or saving people, what good is Technician or a toolbox, for example. Doesn’t necessarily mean Technician or a toolbox are bad in general.
Additionally correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t
they increase the number of escape attempts you can make on a hook before going to the struggle phase? A perk, like Monstrous Shrine, that decreases time on the hook impacts those types of changes because the struggle phase happens once the survivor is at or below 50% hook progression, not how many times you try to escape.
I’m fine with us discussing/debating Monstrous Shrine but I disagree with using “situational” as a specific con of a perk and that was my point. Deja Vu will always be relevant (every survivors starts games and wants to know where generators are) but that doesn’t mean it’s a better/good perk for it being relevant. -
I think it’s fine as is. The majority of perks are situational so that shouldn’t be held as a negative for it. If it got a buff then that may encourage more killers to basement camp.

The Jebaiteds comments 😂😂I’ve been looking for you to post, so I could reply. Clown releases in 10 minutes in PlayStation store.
For the original poster, you have nothing to stand on with this. You were given the product you paid for at the advertised amount for the advertised price. Stores that honor a price difference when you make a purchase before a sale do that just to promote good customer service, it is not a given right or an obligation.
Additionally, how have you been distressed? Buyers remorse is by no means being “distressed.” Someone harassing you by calling your phone number from different numbers multiple times a day is distressing. Being discriminated against at work is distressing. Having to get to a destination wedding but then your flight gets canceled and there aren’t any others is distressing. An electronic good’s price being reduced the day after a purchase is not distressing.
Also, even if you DID have a claim here, which again you don’t, you still wouldn’t deserve anything because of the context. Full refund? For that to happen you would have to refund every Auric Cell so if you’ve used any (which you did) you can’t get a refund. 25% more what... Auric Cells? No, the conversion rate from Cells to $ is not a straight 1:1. And you haven’t been scammed. A scam would be them saying pay $10 for 1100 Auric Cells and then them giving you less than 1100 Auric Cells.
Lastly, here you go:

2 gens done by the first hook seems normal/standard for me. I think current rank and time of day that you’re playing will impact your results the most.
There’s nothing in the patch, besides lightbringer being a little easier, that would result in generators getting done sooner. -

“I'd also like to see the hatch have a feature to automatically close once 1 survivor has left through an exit gate to prevent survivors prolonging the game to get the hatch.”
I agree. When there’s only one survivor left (and at least one other has escaped) then the hatch should stay closed. It would certainly help me get into other games faster because my friend insists on going for the hatch and/or totems every time even when they can safely escape through a gate. Plus the hatch is just free points once people are escaping and even some survivors will stay in the game just to fight to use the hatch. -
I think keep everything (starting trap #, how survivors interact with traps) mechanically the same BUT have The Trapper just toss his traps on the ground (and them land armed) then change the addons that increase/decrease setting up speed. This way he doesn’t lose vision and he doesn’t lose as much time setting them up. Right now the prediction aura isn’t accurate anyway so might as well just toss them.
-
I would say it starts as a horror as you learn the game and just can’t seem to hide/escape the killer. Then it becomes more of a thriller as you get better with moments of adrenaline.
I’ve been playing since console release and I’m still nervous in the beginning until the killer is identified. Looking around and seeing Myers staring at me definitely still gets me. Or when a stealth killer pops up. The only two that don’t “thrill” me or make me nervous are Freddy (whether in the dream state or awake he’s either chasing you or isn’t) and Leatherface (his little waddle/pig noises).
-
I think an overall willingness to actually discuss things and not just post an opinion then watch what happens could help set us apart, for sure. “Your idea is dumb kthx” helps nothing.
So yes, less hostility people! -
I support it. 35% bonus bloodpoints for 3 SWF, 50% bloodpoints for 4 SWF. 2 people playing together doesn’t do enough for me to justify it.
No it wouldn’t solve the problem but maybe in the very least it would encourage more people to play killer because they would probably often be getting a passive bloodpoint boost compared to survivor. And more killers means more lobbies means more people playing.
