No he doesn't. In fact from now on no killer will need buffs or nerfs anymore because with the new system all of them will have the same win ratio no matter how op or bad they are.
If a killer never appears in the upper bracket, and gets destroyed when they do, that may indicate they may need some buffs. Conversely, if a killer’s k/e ratio only drops in the highest brackets, they may need some nerfs. Just win ratio isn’t everything.
-
Honestly, if you’re on the fence, I feel like you may come to regret not buying it once the cut-off date has come and gone. That’d be my reasoning anyway.
-
I mean, they still won’t reach running speed. You’ll still slow them down, just not as much.
-
If we’re going purely by their DbD appearance and abilities, Pinhead would win by virtue of mere patience. Eventually, the chain hunts will begin and Bubba simply can’t come into effective range anymore. They run at exactly the same speed, so Bubba can’t catch up to Pinhead so long as he keeps moving away until the hunt begins. Bubba can pick up the box, but needs to take time to solve it to stop the hunts, giving Pinhead an opportunity to strike.
If we’re going by their movie appearances… Without question, Pinhead would win with ease. Leatherface is ultimately just a guy with a chainsaw. Pinhead is…much, much more. Not to mention he’s far smarter than Bubba.
-
Presumably, we’d see some new ones around Halloween. Some people have been saying there won’t be another Blight event, though. So who knows. Nurse’s blighted skin was in the Rift, so maybe we’ll see something like that in the next one?

Still seems a tad broken. Matched as a rank 9 surivor with rank 1-2 killers lol
It's not live yet. Tuesday is when it goes live. Also, ranks are going to be irrelevant when it does go live.

As othes have said, this is exactly why SBMM is a good idea.

No, because resident evil 2 calls it the "Raccoon Police Department" not the "Raccoon City Police Department" thus making RPD.
But "Raccoon City Police Station" is still wrong, then.
-
On the topic of the RPD, it's called "Raccoon City Police Station", which does not make RPD, but RCPS. RPD would be "Raccoon [City] Police Department", wouldn't it? Is it like that in RE2?

So that means, POP and BBQ don't work with his cage? Interesting. I guess it's a double edged sword. Does BT work when freeing a survivor from a cage?
I must admit that I'm not 100% sure about BT specifically, but I don't think it works, no.

Does Cage of Attonment work with BBQ n Chilli
No. No perks related to hooks work with his cages, also including survivor perks.

I, for one, hope to not be matched with freshly plucked spuds anymore.

Once again if you have adhd and have no reading comprehension skills just say that and move on and quit proving to your parents that you are indeed a waste of time omega lul.
It's not a matter of reading comprehension, though. It's basic, simple readability. Also, this reads as if you think ADHD is a waste of their parents' time. I really hope you don't mean that.

They probably don't care about dealing with hackers in this game because they make them money
...How, exactly? Legitimate question here. I genuinely do not see how hackers make them more money.
-
I think it’s in reference to a comment made in the 5th Anniversary stream, where one of the developers themselves (I forget who) called mori’s “toxic”. No idea where in the stream it was said, though I think it was in the section that went over the key/mori changes happening at some point.

Yes, in endgame.
DS and the exhaustion perk should be disabled after the last gen is done IMO.
The literaly definition of “Decisive” is as follows, according to the Cambridge English Dictionary:
Strongly affecting how a situation will progress or end.
If it didn’t affect the outcome right at the very end of a match, it’s just a “Strike”. Not to mention that would absolutely kill the fantasy of the perk.
-
Yes.

Quite clearly hacks. Tenacity doesn’t go that fast.

Oh so the Outfit sale is still happening? I'm confused with all these dates
Ngl, so am I. I’m trying to confirm this for you but I am getting several dates that contradict each other.
-
“Outfit Sale”. That does not include the DLC itself. A tad strange, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
If the killer DC's, the survivors do not get a penalty. There's some other shenanigans going on there.
Also, ideally, every player DC's as little as possible. Not just killers.

Every exploit requires "just a bit know-how".
Still not a cheat, though. That’s what you said. There’s a distinct difference between an exploit and cheating.

I love this logic. So using cheating software is not cheating too because both survivors and killers can install it?
Except it doesn’t actually require any external actions/software/whathaveyou. Just a bit know-how on getting on there. It’s more like a “Oh, I didn’t know I could do that” than a cheat.

I’d love to see Benedict Baker, perhaps as the “on the brink of insanity” character mentioned here. Maybe one of the characters from those Harbinger stories from the Archives.
As for original concepts, I’ve been trying my hand at a character that, before the Entity took it, possessed some kind of magical power to create “fake” objects from memory, similarly to how the Entity creates its trials, though on a much smaller scale.
A bit of a loner, he became reliant his powers, abused them, even. He’d live a life on top of the world, sustained near exclusively by “fake” creations. At one point, his wanton use of such powers attracts the attention of a very specific crowd. He notices he’s being followed wherever he goes. Friends and colleagues go missing, and he grows paranoid. He ultimately goes into hiding, falsely fortifying himself in his home. His assailants effortlessly break through his defenses, and he’s captured by the cult of the Entity. To his surprise, they aren’t hostile, but instead want to learn from his power. He still tries to escape them, and succeeds. But he then finds his entire life in shambles. All his creations, gone. The people he counted as his friends only cared about him as a money printer, and he has long since alienated himself from his family. He has to realise that he has nothing “real” anymore. The only real thing to his name are the clothes he wore when he first discovered his powers. He desperately tries to rebuild everything, but finds himself unable to focus. Whatever he creates only somewhat resembles what he envisions. His house lacks any details, and even has items he has no memory of ever seeing. He tries giving himself some decent clothes, but his creations explode into a bright glowing substance that adheres to his old clothes and skin. The longer he tries, the more desperate he becomes, until the only thing he can create is the blackest fog he has ever seen.
Upon capture, his powers are taken away, but he is in denial about it. His lobby animations include him trying to use his powers to no avail, and another him accidentally creating an auric cell but being unable to control it and it shattering.
His perks would be based around him creating false objects and the little knowledge he has about the Entity from his short time amongst the cult. (Though I admittedly don’t have a lot of ideas for these beyond what is essentially Apex’s Mirage’s “Bamboozle”)
-
Actually, none of them have been updated.
-
Where Did They Go!?
As a near-exclusive solo player, this was an absolute pain. I eventually got it out of the blue, and out of sheer luck. Truly a case of “the stars need to align”.
-
Latency. The first hit got denied by the server, and the second was them rubberbanding back to a previous location. The latter you can usually tell is about to happen ‘cause they suddenly run in a straight line, looking straight ahead, with no regards of what they’re about to bump into.

Mmm, okay. I don't understand why they would include the map in any DLC content if it is free then lmao. I know before any DLC I bought my map offerings never worked, so I was under the impression (especially by friends) that I couldn't access it MYSELF with my friends/family if none of us had the map DLC.
What offerings did you use, specifically? The map may have been disabled. The Game, accessed with the jigsaw piece offering has been disabled for some time now.
Also, map offerings can be trumped by other map offerings, or a ward I forget the name of.
-
There’s only 5 maps left in total that havent’t been modernised, spread over 3 realms.
Lampkin Lane (Haddonfield)
Pale Rose (Backwater Swamp)
Grim Pantry (Backwater Swamp)
Mother’s Dwelling (Red Forest)
Temple of Purgation (Red Forest)
With the Realm Beyond updates, they’ve sometimes done 2 realms in the same batch (Yamaoka + Badham, Autohaven + Ormond, Crotus Prenn + The Game). If things go as they’ve done before, i.e. no license barriers, it’s entirely possible we’ll see the Haddonfield overhaul combined with another realm’s overhaul.
@Dwigtht said:
No reason to do this. There always should be the worst map for the killer, so once Haddonfield gets fixed, some other map has to become the worst one. Why? We all get used to that Haddonfield is the worst. No need to change our habbits.
I mean, yes, there’s always going to be a worst map. There’s a difference between the worst map being merely unfavourable, and the worst map being unwinnable, though.
-
When I can’t decide, I end up going for the first one in the list. That, and I thin it out with some bias against specific characters warranting me skipping over them.
I also only do 1 prestige level at the time, so my character screen is a mess.
Keeping your bias against Ace in mind, I say Quentin, followed by Tapp.
-
So you know how people modded the manure out of the REmakes?
I now can only think of Dwight replacing Leon in RE2. aka, Dwight with a Gun.
-
I initially thought no, when I got more experienced I thought yes, now I think no again.
So, no.
-
Default neas urban evading everywhere they go.
If I get matched with an absolute newbie, it’s usually a default meg or default bill.
P3 Quentins (before the character redesign, anyway) are to be feared.
That Tapp will cleanse that Haunted Grounds. I am that Tapp.
Felixes and steves are complete wildcards in regards to their behaviour.
Frosty-eyes killers, regardless of who they are (except twins), have a 80% chance of running NoED.
Pumpkin-head nurses are the ones most inexperienced with the angry napkin.
P3 Fengs have a significantly increased chance of disconnecting if they get outplayed.
-
The locker looking so done, and it being on Haddonfield, is such a mood.
-
From memory, I’ve only faced a handful of actual god-nurses than didn’t rely on IF slugging. Only one of those didn’t run DH either. Without fail, every single one ran NoED, though.
-
Besides the other Cenobitea, is there even anything to chose from? Perhapa his appearance before the box?

Try contributing? I've been on these forums since 2018 my friend. Mind you, every comment I make either brings something to the table or bolsters the point of another here. No, 'Kobe', is not a well-known term around these parts; to that you would have to suggest some other late star is also a popular name in the community. And while we're at it, having never heard a pathetic pseudo-term is not indicative of playtime, nor is playtime indicative of skill (which is what you are so helplessly -- and foolishly -- implying). The ill-fated aplomb to this one is amusing. There's no discussion about this; it's just you placing an opinion in the threads as if it's fact.
The sheer fact that the majority of the thread understood what the term meant suggests to me that it is commonly understood as “getting the 4%”. I recall a few years back there even being a discussion that we should drop the name due to the passing of the namesake, but it being disagreed upon because it in no way harmed his image.
Whether it’s a good name or not is subjective, but it is by no means a “pseudo-term”.
-
I only really run it for those sabotage daily/tome challenges, so it doesn’t see much use. But recently, on Sanctum, I got it to pull off the ideal play.
Leon goes down on top of the main building. I just finished healing with a medkit. I notice there’s no hook on the building itself, Huntress takes leon in my general direction. I look behind me, a hook. Of course it goes down. She notices too late and needs to find another one, wasting even more time deciding which one to go to. Combined with a body-block on her way to the next hook, and Leon wiggles free.
The Huntress noticeably got angry with me, completely forgetting about Leon, and throwing hatchets at me way too early (even earlier than she was doing already) and just ignoring everything and anything. A full inventory of misses hatchets later, and she DC’s spouting nonsense about us being SWF (all solo’s), us genrushing and whatnot.
It was kinda funny, ngl. I felt bad for her, up until her explosion in chat.

I’m sure you can find some Spirits on Dead Dawg.
Ah. I see the problem.
-
Huh. You're right, it's not in there. Not the English page, anyway. Perhaps something to suggest in Forum Feedback?
In the meantime, you can report your bug from the home page -> feedback & bug reports -> bug reporting. It's a bit of a workaround, but the result is the same.
-
Lag switch? Hacker? I highly doubt something in the game just decides you should all go down right then and there.
-
Uhm...
-
Holy ######### that's so cool.
Also, sorry for derailing the topic.
-
Seeing as they appear to replace the current ranks, I'm guessing it's to make the upcoming rank reward system a bit more intuitive.

Your rainbow demo has made up for everything you ever did with legacy
Rainbow Demo?
I need to see this.
As for the topic, if they added Legacy-esque textures to post-Legacy characters, it defeats the entire point of Legacy items.
-
This is in every tome. To complete it, you need the chatracter(s) it’s about. That makes sense, no?

Paragraph is a stupid name, thats why.
And Chapter is not? It makes sense. Paragraphs are bodies of texts within Chapters. The entirety of the game could then be called Book, or Tome.

gens don't lose 1% for every second so it wouldn't be 20% regression.
It is applied 1-for-1, so you deny additional 16 seconds of progress if they were working on it when it goes off. That's the 20%.
