Dude seriously?

I played bubba and chainsawed a surv trhrough a pallet because the dropped it to late, or at least i thought so cause i heard the surv screaming but he just ran away. I then switched to another surv and chainsawed him in the open and he just vanished after i hit him. Can someone explain what the f that was? I have those two hits on record but i can't post videos in this forum for whatever reason

  • New hit validation.

  • Latency. The first hit got denied by the server, and the second was them rubberbanding back to a previous location. The latter you can usually tell is about to happen ‘cause they suddenly run in a straight line, looking straight ahead, with no regards of what they’re about to bump into.

  • The first one was the devs giving the finger to killers with new hit detection "not" determined by the survivors client at all and totally determined by the better ping as they demonstrated in the livestream /s

The second is the survivor lag switching.

Yeah, this game is so much fun as killer right now!

  • Hit validation tech is the new meta, and currently there is no counter to that, other than quitting playing killer.
