Ah, so instadown perks should be removed, noted.
No lol. Literally all instadown perks have a prerequisite or require effort to get value out of like Devour Hope. What does Iron Will lack?
-
Definitely. People that say she’s dead forget about her speed and how the audio isn’t exactly accurate enough to pinpoint her exact location. It can be used for mindgames which I’ve been able to fool many good survivors with.
-
Killers say DS deserves another nerf and survivors say Spirit deserves another nerf. You can never please some people.
-
Let’s backlash Twins and Trickster. They deserve it more.

Link the recording?
I don’t record my games. Probably should tbh.

Only if they're against bad survivors.
I’ve been able to beat plenty of good survivors with Spirit.

I opt for nerfing IW instead

She needs something. She got dumpstered.
We literally pallet loop her in solo queue now, it's sad.
Good Spirits won’t let that happen trust me.

@GoodBoyKaru said:
I'd be open to a Spirit buff provided they do something about facing her without Iron Will, which is still an incredibly frustrating experience imho.
Fix that then you can even gut IW for all I care, too.
Can we please leave her alone now? One more nerf will make her unfun to play which would put me on suicide watch :)
-
One perk shouldn’t take away an entire gameplay mechanic with no downsides. Yes the perk needs a nerf.
-
No he was fine before.

What that means? I should hit knives closelly with survivor first?
I’m saying Huntress is just better at all cylinders. If you want to play Trickster though, there’s not much else to say other than to use your knives at dead zones and loops because you have a much slower cooldown damaging a survivor with knives. There’s not much to learn about him really, all there is is practicing aim really.
-
The most optimal way to play Trickster effectively is to play Huntress.
-
I would love to have more incentives to kick gens so I don’t see why not,
-
Yui because Yui
-
As I said before, people won’t be satisfied with Spirit until she actually can’t do anything. Alright to please y’all, let’s make Spirit move at 2.8 m/s in phase while survivors can see her and you can’t see or hear them. There, balanced.
-
Ok I mainly agree but saying not all SWFs don’t sweat or are always nice in the EGC is a huge reach.
-
Iron Will
-
He’s still weak but he’s much less add on dependent which is good.
-
Is Spirit considered meta anymore considering barely anyone plays her anymore and says she’s dead?
-
Is Santa Clause next killer confirmed?
-
Losing one license doesn’t mean the game is dying. BHVR’s contract with Netflix expired and Netflix didn’t renew it. This is just how business works.
-
I love how it is a much higher priority to remove modding and glitches to their money grabbing cosmetics than it is to deal with the cheater issue. BHVR really makes themselves look bad, I hate to say it.
-
I honestly don’t remember. Probably never have because ######### that map.
-
Area of a circle is pi * r^2 not r * 2…
-
They need to. Claire has been backlashed for the last time!
-
I hate Hag
-
If you’re complaining about flashlights then I genuinely don’t know what to say. Only worthy complaints about flashlight are macros which are obnoxious but gameplay wise, they’re fine.
-
It’s making me wish I found the game 4 years before I first bought it even more. I have 1300+ hours since mid 2020 and only have 4 survivors and 5 killers at P3 level 50.

Yes, she is very strong and does not require skills
About the game from the ground, you need to buff the Unbreakable perk so that there is no limitation of getting up from the ground
I agree to CD of 30 seconds, which I consider to be an honest exchange, since the killer who knocked the player down can walk calmly and not hang on the hook, which is very toxic and annoying
Just got nerfed to be more fair, still requires no skill though. This game won't be balance until Spirit gets gutted.
-
Because it’s an effective tactic? You do gens fast at the start so why can’t killers slug when it’s necessary?
-
I only care about Spirit and Artist in terms of killers.
-
Nah
-
Spirit and Artist
-
Well I can finally rest knowing that somebody didn’t vote COH lol.
-
BHVR really wants us to farm just to have a chance to get these challenges.
-
How to level up characters. I haven’t gotten a character to level 2 weeks into me playing lol.
-
Trapping the bottom of that fall from the big hole in the second floor.
-
Rough day?
-
I’m still waiting for that one person to vote Shadowstep or Exponential.
-
Lucky Break
-
Ur mom
-
This is why the game can’t be balanced. People constantly whining about every possible thing that gives them a challenge and then post in the feedback section that it’s too strong and needs a nerf. Devs should really stop catering to survivors and killers that are like that.

Possible argument for Exponential might if we talk about specific killer and worst possible situation for him. SWF with 4x Exponential against Oni / Twins would be really strong, but it's not that good overall.
Shadowstep might win again, if you go full nuclear, it can become stronger than CoH and most killers will just not be able to deal with it. RPD / Lery's with 4x Shadowstep? Good luck against that. I have played against it once and I just went full camp, I can't be bothered.
But those are really specific situations that are possible only for SWF.
CoH is just going to win as overall perk for both SWF / SoloQ and best thing is that you don't need your whole group focused about it. You have 1-2 players with CoH and rest of your perks can be classic meta.
I can also see Exponential combining very well with Flip-Flop, Tenacity, and Power Struggle. Problem is you can just run Unbreakable but if you’re in a SWF and someone has Exponential, that perk slot can be used for something else.

Easily Circle of Healing. Shadowstep is decent but not overpowering (at least in my experience so far as a killer). And Exponential isn’t out yet but because you don’t directly control where or when you are downed or slugged it’s quite possible to not be in the Boon’s aura to get yourself back up before the killer either hooks you or snuffs the Boon out (since in you are in the aura there’s a good chance the killer can hear it.)
Circle of Healing though is the best of the three. It has an excellent healing speed boost along with grants self healing, and because you can decide when you want to heal you can always run to the Boon wherever it is when you’re not in a chase. And because you can go to the Boon totem it can be put in a remote spot away from the action to make it less likely for the killer to snuff it out or know where you are healing.
Of the three I think Circle of Healing is the one most likely to get nerfed on its balance pass in a couple months. My guess is they’ll turn down its healing speed. You can still run to it and heal, obviously, but with a slow enough healing speed that’s an acceptable perk. It has to be slow enough that the time it takes to heal is a significant factor to consider when using it.
@Dino7281 said:
CoH and it's nowhere close.
Shadowstep can be annoying with full SWF setup. 4x Shadowstep and indoor map offering is hell to deal with.
Exponential is also SWF thing, but if you get SWF using it as Twins... RIP
CoH is easy to use, you actually don't want to stack it (max 2) to get most of it. This perk basically creates 4x medkit situation, which most killers know is just hard to deal with. This perks negates two most basic tactics, which I think is really bad for the game. Weak killers just can't get away with commiting to every chase. I believe CoH is just broken atm.
@Nathan13 said:
COH without a doubt
Yeah I knew COH would get a lot of votes because it definitely is the best. I’m very curious though if someone does have an argument for Shadowstep or Exponential. It’s definitely up for debate.

If they’re fighting so many Billy’s it becomes boring I want to know what server they are in. I might actually come back to dbd
Definitely not NA because I never get Billies.

Its objective and fun is Pyramid Head
And Spirit and Artist.
-
Fun is subjective. It’s not your decision whether or not killer players find certain killers fun.
