There should be an “other” option so I can say Hag. I’ll just vote Freddy because he’s the most annoying out of all these.
-
I’ve already put the ring on Spirit’s finger I need to be loyal to my wifey
-
Hard disagree it’s more something like this:
D tier is full of people that kill people. I don’t like that. S tier has a waifu.
-
I’ve actually played a lot of Nurse lately and have seen improvement. Obviously I have a long way to go but I’m really enjoying her.
-
Huntress is a balanced killer with counterplay and a massive skill ceiling. If you think she’s broken (assuming she doesn’t have Iri Head) then I would love to see your winning streak as Huntress.
-
Spirit for sure. I mean all of her different facial expressions and phasing in and out is amazing looking. I am also just in love with her and she’s a waifu.
-
Really? D tier? I wonder if you say that because you used his insta saw add ons all the time. Overheat mechanic was unnecessary, but he didn’t get gutted.
-
The perk will be fine. People that say it will be useless have used it in the way that made DS get the nerf in the first place.
-
Hardest killer to use: if you aren’t exactly in to FPS games than Deathslinger would definitely be the hardest from that group. If you are in to FPS games, I would say Spirit is the hardest. She’s not super difficult overall though.
Easiest killer: definitely Legion. He’s not the best killer but his power is very simple. All you need to learn to to stab people and apply pressure and you’re set.
Most fun killer: fun is subjective. For me it’s Spirit. She’s always been my favorite. Tracking by sound and going invisible is very fun. Deathslinger if you like FPS games. Legion if you like simple killers that are underrated.
Best perks: Deathslinger’s perks are horrible. Legion has Discordance which is pretty good. He also has Iron Maiden and this perk can be good for Huntress but other than that, it’s not good. Spirit’s perks are definitely the best out of these three killers.
I guess I would recommend Spirit the most because she is my favorite killer and she’s strong. I will warn you that if you do pick up Spirit, then expect a lot of salt from survivors.

I actually just had one last night. I was already dead but I played with my friend and he was the last survivor in the trial, and the Pig took him over to the hatch making him think she will give him hatch. As soon as she carried him over hatch, he went on the hook and then the Pig started hitting him on the hook. That was so messed up lol.

Rules Set No. 2 at best does very little and at worst gets Survivors to stop respecting RBTs, which is bad for Pig.
That’s fair. It is still better than the killers in C and D tier tbh.

How is Nurse not F tier? She's the only one whose Ultra Rares I actively avoid unless I decide to make an ultimately futile attempt at From the Void She Kills. Both of them seem straight up detrimental to her kit. Especially the one that removes wall phasing. If you start in a multi leveled map (Haddonfield, Midwich, Gideon), you're stuffed.
Don’t have an F tier but probably should’ve put one for Demo. His ultra rares make no sense I can’t really put Nurse’s in with his.

If we're going purely by Ultra Rares, I would move Pig down to the bottom of C, if not D outright. Both her UR add-ons are bad.
Rule Set No. 2 isn’t bad. Amanda’s Letter I agree with is very bad and I would only run it on an indoor map.

maybe if they didn't act so cocky more killers would want to play against them.
Not every SWF is toxic though
-
Welp RIP to every SWF finding a lobby.
-
Killer: Pig. It is absurd how underrated Pig is. Yes her stealth isn’t the best but it is a feature of hers that shouldn’t be underestimated. Slowdown potential is decent which is good considering gens could fly by. One more thing, let me just point out by saying that people that say her ambush is useless don’t understand how to use it. It can be situational but man it has gotten me many hits on loops that are normally safe.
Killer perk: Dark Devotion. This perk isn’t used often but I feel like it’s better than it gives credit for. It’s free stealth and can bamboozle survivors if the obsession goes near other survivors.
Survivor perk: Balanced Landing. Some people actually think this perk is trash. Not sure why because usually falling can be a death sentence because of the stun you get. Balanced Landing says nope to that.
-
I am so of the opinion that people that say Spirit takes 0 skill what so ever are saying it out of salt. However, as a Spirit main, she can definitely feel too easy for how strong she is. She’s almost on the same level as Nurse in terms of strength but the difference of her and Spirit’s learning curve is pretty absurd. I love Spirit to death and I would love for her skill cap to be raised a lot and for her to have more counterplay.

Back when I first started playing this game and I didn't know much about how it worked, I tried not to get seen by the killer and getting into a chase gave me that feeling of anxiety but in a good way. It's been a long time since I've really felt the horror aspect of this game and I do miss it. Playing against Spirit, particularly a good Spirit somewhat brings that back in a way. Not knowing where she's gonna pop up and having to go on alert when you hear her phasing is exhilarating to me.
Just wanted to give some love to you Spirit players out there for keeping me on my toes and keeping me guessing. Love ya.
As someone who loves Spirit, I’m glad to hear it. I do want them to add some sort of indicator that she’s using her power though.
-
You love to see it, thanks for being a good influence <3
-
Maybe the people that put Nurse in B tier made a tier list based off of all skill levels. But even then, she’d have to be lower than that because there are so very few good Nurses which is why she has the lowest kill rate.
-
TL walls give opportunity for both sides to guess what the other will do. It’s a fair chance for both to outsmart the other. It’s not necessarily a guess, it’s more so reading the mind of the other player by identifying their skill level. For instance, if a survivor seems good then the killer can fake a double back by moonwalking in where the survivor is.

Not the new one surely even if you think it was needed i forgot about old DS and that should be 1
I wasn’t around when the old DS was a thing but I’ve seen how it worked. My gosh it looked like the crutches little ######### ever.
-
Decisive Strike will make that list. I hate that perk so much and it needed the nerf.
-
Only saying brown because I really miss those days I was a new player. I actually felt scared and the game stressed me out (in a good way). Now it just feels stressful in a bad way.

Even if she was 110% this would kill her
True. I think she’s fine the way she is tbh.
-
You have to buff her movement speed to 4.4 to compensate or else this would destroy her.
-
This buff certainly helped but it doesn’t fix the main issue with Wraith: he doesn’t have anything to help him with loops.
-
Thx man, I’ll forever continue to play my baby
-
Ok never mind. I just logged into Phasmophobia again and it's also having issues. It seems like it's not just DBD it's all of Steam.
-
Ah figures. Thanks for the update. Looks like they've done a pretty good job so far again.
-
Spongebob Squarepants
-
The problem is that Freddy is fairly easy for how much he can do. You definitely made some decent points though.
-
Hex: Devour Hope because I want to give survivors stress 😈
-
Ok well just know that you’re hurting your other three teammates and the Spirit player by quitting. I understand Spirit is unfair but just make the best of it.
-
@Mineguy said:
I don't want to sound mean but you fall for it so it's your Problem. Just walk away a bit.
That’s not a counter. That’s hoping she started her phase when for all you know, she could be just standing still. OP is right, Spirit needs some kind of queue when she goes into her power.
-
In my opinion, they should rework both Iron Will and Spirit at the same time.
-
@YourNightmare said:
Stridor Spirit has no counter... So ye, it doesn't require any skill and it is super easy, what do you expect ? It would be like playing COD with an aimbot...
You main Spirit so master her and don't use Stridor.
So it’s bad to use a perk that synergies well with a specific killer? Ok, how about if Oni mains should not use Infectious Fright or Hag mains shouldn’t use Make Your Choice. Just listen to yourself.
Also, you’ve completely missed the question, the OP is asking why it’s necessary for people to bash others just because they like to play a certain killer. I’m a Spirit main and I do understand she isn’t balanced in her current state, but the answer to the OP’s question is no it isn’t necessary for survivors to bash killer players for playing a killer they like. Same goes for the other side. The reason it isn’t necessary is because it’s a ######### video game and it really shouldn’t be taken seriously. It’s not the end of the world if you encounter Spirit.

"spirit requires no skill just a pair of headphones"
Ever since scott jund put out that first video this has been the line ever since, it's amazing how many sheep can't think for themselves.
Firstly my friend they don't tbag you because you're spirit, regardless of the killer I play I get toxic tbaggers almost every game. Actually scratch that, I get less when I play strong killers because they have some fear. If you use a low-mid tier killer they'll taunt right off the bat.
Survivors say it takes no skill but remember these are the people that will hold W through and around badham school, drop a god pallet, hold w, drop a god pallet, hold w, vault a god window, hold W, vault a god window, hold w and then they'll be like "I looped you bro 😎" as if your m1 killer could do anything about it. They're hypocrites and I say keep doing what you're doing on enjoy their salt. Hit them on hook a little to assert dominance.
I honestly love you for this
-
You know when a killer slugs it means you don’t lose a hook state and your character doesn’t have to feel the pain of getting impaled on a hook so I don’t know what you’re complaining about.
-
I main Spirit too and get the same treatment. It’s ridiculous because they’re getting salty over a video game. If you enjoy playing Spirit, keep playing her and try your best to ignore the end game chat.

You gotta be kidding me hahaha... Nobody who understands the idea of BBQ wants it nerfed. It promotes healthy gameplay so no matter what people say against it - it's not valid.
Yep. It’s honestly kind of sad what people think.
-
@WatchBloodRain said:
Since hiding behind gen, lockers, close proximity to killer and distortion counters it, 3 of them don't require a perk so its perfectly fine
I bet if crouch walking hid your aura in DBD then survivors would still complain about it.

@Yamaoka said:
Not sure if "people" is the right term considering it's really just 1 person (that I know of)... cough....
I've actually seen quite a few people say it and it just boggles my mind.

@Reinami said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/233579/do-people-actually-think-bbq-needs-a-nerf
Devs like BBQ because it actually promotes healthy gameplay. It encourages you to not tunnel to get stacks for bloodpoints, and encourages you to leave the hook to go after someone 40+ meters away.
That is true. Tunneling and camping are things survivors hate but they hate on a perk that promotes not doing it? Something doesn't seem right.
-
@FrenziedRoach said:
Yes. In fact, you can point to pretty much every popular perk and find somebody who wants it nerfed.
Doesn't mean the reasons are any good though.
Exactly. There are things I agree need to get touched but BBQ is absolutely not one of them.
-
You can’t be serious if you think survivor is the only side that gets things nerfed...
-
No I would do the same. In fact I’d equip an OP add on like Iri Head Huntress or MDR Spirit if I get P3 Blendettes.

i disagree <3 Have a look at my guide here and it may change your mind :) https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/233212/the-ultimate-twins-guide#latest
Honestly I’m impressed. Seems like you put in a lot of time and effort to make that guide so thank you so much. I’ve been playing the Twins a bit lately and they’re pretty fun to play.
