She's not OP in the slightest. Try to get better at playing against her.

I didn't know STBFL was a gen regression perk...

The in-game report you make flags the match, they can view who was connected to it through their backend.
Ah, I didn't know that. Thank you!π

Just report them in game, and then submit the ticket with video evidence. Support will be able to find the profile using the in-game report and ban them.
So, I make a ticket and I won't need their name or any form of information? How does that work?

In case you need it.
I can't open their profile, so how do I report without their name or steamID? I could only report them in game.
-
I noticed this as well, I hope it gets fixed soon.

Please. It's so difficult to discuss stuff that happens in the game.
Not to mention the censoring is ineffective at what it's supposed to do because a.) people who habitually make an ass of themselves in postgame chat learn how to get slurs around it, and make no mistake, they're perfectly understood, and b.) I prefer to know when people are saying horrific things to me so I can report them, as opposed to the current ambiguity between any line of #######s being "go eat broken glass and set yourself on fire" or "hey, I love your Jane outfit!"
Exactly this!

With prove thyself a gen can be done before the killer can even check on it. A lot of good slowdown perks like Pop, corrupt and even Thana got nerfed really bad so maybe that's why killers need to bring other slowdowns. The 90 seconds gens are nothing.

I agree. I unironically rather play on Eyrie of Cringe than swamp maps, they are unappealing and looping on their main structures is a snoozefest.
I don't understand how a map like Eyrie Of Crows was added in 2021. It's way too big and extremely unbalanced. It's great when you play survivor but for killers it's another painful map.
-
Camping is toxic?
-
The game is way less fun imo after the ''balancing'' update. Soloq is terrible and swf's are even more OP.
-
It 100% is. Survivors get another perk for free. Dbd has always been survivor sided and I don't think that will ever change.
-
@Carth said:
If that was a regular m1 killer she 100% would have made shack and at least been able to do one window vault and possibly chained that to other tiles or at the very least gotten an extra 20+ seconds from her DS
I do agree with your point about the 3 second stun being short but using blight/nurse/spirit to demonstrate how weak stuns are is super unfair to everyone else who can't cover ground rapidly.
There was not much left there tbh, she might have gotten a few extra seconds out of it. This also is 5 seconds, imagine if this was 3.
-
I agree. It would be really bad if BHVR would even try to remove it.

nurses and blights rejoice, theyβve risen a tier to SS+ tier
What?π
-
I really hope it's coming tomorrow. I just can't wait for the DH nerf!π
-
I only play Nurse, Blight and I'm also gonna try to pick up spirit again. She's gonna be more fun to play with the Iron Will nerf. After the update I think I'm gonna play other killers again. The game will still be survivor sided imo but at least more fun and more balanced.

Yeah, this is what is going to be scary. Not everything else people complain about here on the forums.
Haha, I agree. When I saw the buff and saw how fast the scratchmarks fade away I knew this perk was gonna be annoying. The fact that they also spawn more random and sometimes even stop makes me worried. xD
-
@SekiSeki said:
Lightweight meta, mark my words,
I'm not looking forward for this buff tbh. Scratch marks are already very hard to read sometimes, especially on some brighter maps like Coldwind or Ormond.π«
-
If I get gen rushed I try to camp or tunnel someone out. If survivors rush gens injured slugging is the best way to slow them down.

I still remember when billy was considered a strong killer
I love Blight more then Billy tbh. They both take so much skill to play.
-
Noed didn't need a nerf imo but I think it's fair.

@GannTM said:
I hope so. I wouldnβt complain if I saw her in my survivor games almost every game.
God I missed this so much π
You don't see spirit often anymore? I play against her very often tbh.
-
I'm gonna play more spirit again after the update.
-
I think the only thing about Nurse that needs to be slightly nerfed are her range addons.

ANd camping and tunneling are bad game design.
So gen rushing is also bad game design, right?

I don't think many people are gonna quit tbh. I'm still gonna play survivor at least.π

And infinites were a legit strategy also
Those things are not the same. The infinites were just poor map design...
-
You sound really upset to me, the way you react to people that are just giving their opinion is also very aggressive imo. You really sound like you play killer just for daily challenges or the rift. I could be wrong but you sound like you have no idea what it's like to play killer against good survivors. That's why this is my last message here btw. Camping and tunneling are legit strategies which you can like or not. Survivors don't have to make the game fun for the killer and the killer doesn't have to make the game fun for the survivors, remember that!
-
@Lecruidant said:

"Survivors can gen rush"
Why do all ######### killers use this miserable excuse. That's the ONLY objective the survivors have when spawning in. Period. You have 4 people to thwack around. But you choose one person and go full monkey brain chasing and when 3 gens pop because of it, all of a sudden you were "Gen Rushed".
And I'm not saying there's anything wrong with gen rushing. I just think complaining about camping and tunneling doesn't make any sense.
-
Camping and tunneling are legit strategies that should remain as they are...

Yeah when DC'ing for hatch was patched, I thought that was the end of it, but nope
Yea, I still get survivors who DC to give their teammate hatch sometimes. It shouldn't be possible imo but I also don't really know what the devs could do to prevent it.

why ? he's right unless I'm losing hard I try to hook everyone once I always run bbq anyway, when I switch side I keep playing against idiots who can't leave their first hook (even at 5 gens doesn't matter), it's way too rewarding for a zero skill strat it's boring
would be nice if people stop defending facecamp so hard, you really suck if you need to camp every match to secure kills
That's your opinion. Camping and tunneling are legit strategies, like it or not. Killers don't have to play by the survivors rules. If survivors can gen rush, why can't killers secure their kills?
-
@TheArbiter said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3061717#Comment_3061717
This is actually a really great idea! Didn't think about that
It would make sense to me. Survivors in a swf sometimes even DC to prevent a POP or Scourge hook which shouldn't be possible imo. BHVR really needs to do something about this. I have lost games just because I didn't get to use my pop and BW because a survivor DC'd.
-
I think a solution would be whenever someone DC's their body should remain in the trail so the killer can hook or Mori them.
-
You sound like someone who doesn't play killer to me.

I think I remember when you've started and asked tips to play her on the forum. (But I'm not good with names so forgive me if I'm wrong)
Indeed we all have our strengths. I'm not very good with Blight. I think the reason is that after having learned all the details of each maps for the Nurse (including the dead zones) I didn't feel like doing it again with Blight (the inconsistent bounces and glides).
That and the unwanted 1cm bounces are driving me crazy. Like failing a blink but 3 times in a row. (Khaaan!)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3057239#Comment_3057239
The Dunning-Kruger effect has been studied and documented for a reason. ;)
Yes, that was me! I've started playing her without plaid flannel or whatever it's called and it went way better then I expected. I learned so much after I made that post and now I'm way better with her. I'm having so much fun with her and that really helps when you try to learn. I'm still learning so much with both Blight and Nurse as well. There's so much to learn with them. Learning the collision on everything on all maps takes so much practice and time but it's so worth it imo. I really hope BHVR doesn't remove the hug tech because it's such a fun thing to pull off!

I'm pretty sure there is some quote about this in The Art of War.
And it's also one recurring recommendation when players asks how to verse her. (And is actually true for any role.)
Yea, it really helps.

Probably. I just compare it to the experience I have now. I have 19,000 ish hits as blight. Top 30 ish on the leaderboards. I have another 10,000 blinks as nurse.
I'm cracked as hell at both. But when I get the right survivor groups who actually know how to deal with nurse. Its going to be rough, because even the best nurses arnt mind readers. But as blight ? You have to run tiles in certain ways regardless. There isn't much you can do to surprise me as blight now adays. I can pretty much get a hit at wherever we're at.
Not for nothing. If you're in to twitch. Youre more then welcome to stop by and watch some blight plays
I think it's also because you have way more hours then I have. I don't have nearly the experience that you have. I would love to stop by your stream sometime. Is your twitch the same as your name here?

Oh my lord. It's like when people actually play her/against her more frequently, they actually improve.
It's what us filthy, opponent proclaimed nurse mains have been advocating for all along.
I'm shocked. Pikachu face.
Thank you for responding!
Haha, I can't deny that you were right about her. She's still the strongest killer in the game in my opinion but when you learn how to play against her you will have a much easier time. It may sound weird but playing AS her made me better in chase AGAINST her.π

Can't agree there. Blight is super easy, straight forward, and brute force. Once you learn how to use his power at certain tiles and to zone
They both take a lot of practice but I struggle way more with Blight then I did with Nurse. There's just so much to learn. But I think that's different for everyone.

How did it start, and what changed it?
I played against so many Nurse's over the last few months that I learned so much on how to play against her. I also play her way more then I did before which made me so much better in chase. I'm a Blight main atm but Nurse is a good second. Not long ago I hated Nurse more then anything in this game. My opinion has completely changed.π
-
My opinion on Nurse has changed alot over the last few months. I think she's in an okay spot atm. In my opinion Blight is the hardest killer to play tho.
