My day one with plague release I was a living God of infection. Unstoppable, terrific 4k every day and the hatemail practically wrote itself. It took id say at least about 3 weeks before anyone got wise to the no heal game and 2 months before everyone was able to efficiently counter her and now I tie my games at best.

My day one with PH I saved bp and started him at lvl 45 first minute he was released. Ready to be a powerhouse.

These dam superhero survivor juke every dammed strike and tap crouch over every trench and the cages that i thought countered the meta seem to teleport them for an insta save right next to someone doing a gen.

Others in here taught me how to fake the strike and only use it when they are physically locked in animations. And to dot the trench for loops and while it wastes time to get them tagged instead of just going for the hit right away its better to have the option in case they try to sabo or flashlight save.

But in all. I find his perks to he utterly trash.

And himself to be lackluster And easily countered and really the only use I've been able to get outta him is camping the hook with the dam strike to hit them both when they go for the save... so he's a mid range bubba now to me.

He's more on par with Deathslinger honestly, but some debate that he's worse than him due to how versatile Deathslinger is in a chase. Like for example, Deathslinger can also fake his power with a lot less restrictions, and he can also land shots a lot more when around lower walled loops.

While Pyramid Head has his own strengths, he's more similar to Deathslinger in how he conducts his chases. As for his good he is, I personally think he's fairly Mid-Tier, same as Deathslinger. But if I had to say who is more versatile, it would be Deathslinger. All in all, whether the community likes the Killer or not is... entirely subjective at best. Some people like him, others think he's unfair or broken. That's how it usually is when new DLC comes out, opinions clash and debates happen.

I suppose not, though with any Killer using BBQ and a cake it's quite easy to gain BPs. But your best bet is someone like Legion, Doctor, Clown, Demogorgon, Ghostface, Killers that can get deviousness and brutality points with ease.

  • @emptyCups said:

    nice.

Thank you, hopefully this gives you an idea on if prestiging PH for his P3 outfit is worth it. If you bother with that completionist stuff that is.

on the first day i got everyoen for killers except for nurse wich i got the day after. i dont have deathslinger so well is not gonna happen.

for survivors liek 6 in the same first day and the rest in the next day being Zarina, adam and jeff the exceptions because i dont have them (considering i have their perks thanks to shrine i dont think will happen with heff and adam anyway) i may get zarinas one maybe lol ifg i get enough shards before the event ends.

but congrats anyway are pretty much overrated and are not looking that amazing imo

Thank you, I hope you end up getting the crowns you want as well.

I was talking about your Survivor video when you picked up the crown while already wearing one. I thought that you couldn’t pick them up if you already had one unless you got a crown in a previous game and then used it for future games (which is what I’m assuming happened).

Oh, then yeah that's what happened. I unlocked it previously and then got another crown during a different game. You can get the golden aura every match for as long as the event remains, you just don't get anything but the 500+ BP bonus at the end (if you already have the crown like I do.)

  • @rottmeister said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1389684#Comment_1389684

Yeah, I only collected the crowns for the survivors I wanted. With Kate and Meg I was really lucky because I got it first try. Then it took me over an hour with Yui because I nearly always died or just couldn't find it. I got really pissed off at that point.

Lastly I got it for this sexy boi. Now I can say my game truly is blessed. 😏

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/AE6I5A20GY2B/user-scoped-temp-data-orca-image-1777087490.jpeg

That's all you really need tbh, if you're like me you might want to get them all for a complete set, but that's just a completionists thing.

The only real issue that came from the Survivor side was getting the crowns on the Survivors I only have at level 10. I haven't 50'ed all the non-prestige 3s like I did with my Killers, so some of them don't have anything to really use. But besides that, it wasn't really that difficult to do (depending on the Killer, team, and map you get that is). So if you're interested than you can do this too, but it's not really required of course.

  • @SnakeSound222 said:

You can collect two crowns in one game?

No, you can only collect a single crown in-game and that's it (for that match). What I meant was that The Legion is rewarded two crowns due to their DLC coming out with two variants of the Killer, this being Frank and Julie.

This means that because The Legion technically has two default skins, they're given two crowns as a result.

  • @rottmeister said:

    Good job on collecting them!

Thank you! Took awhile to do it, but the Killer part wasn't really that hard to be honest. The only difficult part is collecting the crowns for the Survivors, since you actually need to finish the requirement to get them (which is to survive the match of course).

  • @Magickal

No, it's not. The Broken Status effect is designed to not allow anything to remove it UNTIL the time conditions for it's removal are met.

  • @jamako

There is currently a sale going on right now, it should be listed in the news section in-game for you to review. It started on May 1st and ends May 8th. One of the things from the Golden Week sale is a 50% discount on all characters released before the chains of hate DLC.

here's the tweet about the sale

  • @Nutty_Professor

Some players suggest that you change your sensitivity from 100% to 50%. They claim 100% is double the amount the original 100% was, so 50% is about the same as it was before. I personally don't really notice a difference at 100% or 50%, but that's just me.

Also no, the match-making system has yet to see changes with the new skill-based concept that was introduced awhile back. We also haven't heard much about it since that post, so there isn't anything new to report. Besides that though, there hasn't been anything drastic since the mid-chapter update that happened a few days ago. I might've missed something, but from what I can see there hasn't been anything note-worthy since Mid-March to now, the only thing that's note-worthy at the moment is the new update that you're already aware of.

Sometimes when you leave for a bit, some things will stay the same for awhile. This seems to be one of those cases, as the two hot-fixes don't really describe anything massive being changed. The only thing that you might want to know is that some Killers like Michael Myers are experiencing a bug, this bug makes their breathing and footsteps a lot louder and more discernable from farther away. There hasn't been much evidence to support this, but a few players have been talking about this issue.

Also, some of the animation bugs that came from the 3.7.0 PTB are still present in the LIVE game, one of these is Billies animations when in his chain-saw sprint, hitting Survivors, stopping his sprint, and some other small things as well. Other small animation changes are not really note-worthy. Don't fret though, as far as I know this wasn't an intentional change. It should be back to normal in the next hotfix.

  • @Respectfulnancymain said:

Basically they doubled the senstivity so just go down to 50% and it'll be the same as before

I personally never even noticed the sensitivity change if you want me to be honest, but yeah, that's basically the blunt explanation.

  • @SadCyclops

Not directly for me no, but this is a known bug at the moment with SWFs and somewhat around the game as well. There isn't really much you can do about it right now, but you can go to the Bug Report sub-forum to either make a post about it OR find a pre-existing post to vote up and maybe leave a comment on.

That's about all you can do at this time, you'll unfortunately have to wait and see when this issue is fixed. It's not constant of course, but I can see why it's a bit annoying.

here's the link to the bug report sub-forum if needed

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs

  • @SeeYoureWrong

Usually when frame drops are tied to a Killer, it's a Killer that uses a lot of effects and animations like The Doctor for example. As for The Demogorgon? I can't really say why this is happening, nor do I know a way to fix it... Besides the usual fixes of course.

You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, doing so will not delete any progress you have saved since your save data is tied to your PSN directly. See if that helps, the game probably needs to refresh it's files... If that doesn't work than I don't really know what you can do after that, but I'll try and think of something after you try the first step above.

  • @chefcrayden

This has been a common issue for a lot of players since the DC Penalty was introduced. There isn't much about what they're going to do about it, so I can't really tell you something that's reassuring or helpful in your situation.

You're not the first to suggest a change with unintentional DCing not giving penalties, but there hasn't been much feedback on that suggest, nor does it seem possible for the penalty to discern a crash from an intentional DC at this time. It might not even be possible, it's not entirely known right now. I always say that I hope something improves with this certain issue, but that's honestly the best I can do for you at this time.

  • @PigNRun said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1252683#Comment_1252683

I was wrong. Crow bombs do count as multiple crows. I used Calm Spirit (crow bombs ignore Calm Spirit's effect but works normally with normal crows), used a Swamp offering, stuck to the boat area and set off the crows 3 times (just to make sure). Went from 1/50 to 50/50.

So, yeah, Swamp is the best map for that.

How odd, I wonder if that really is a foresight. Anyways, thanks for confirming this debate.

  • @PigNRun said:

Ill give it a try later today. I have that challenge available.

Sounds good, look forward to your discovery. Keep in-mind that if you're trying to do it, than you shouldn't disturb other crows to confirm if the crow mass adds more than 1.

  • @Saitamfed said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1252648#Comment_1252648

Well, I did it months ago, but I did it in a single match and was killed pretty early, due to the crows. Anyway as I have the challenge done, I can't say for sure.

Yeah, there's no way to really know for sure until some video proof was brought forward. You also have to realize that some of these players like yourself could've disturbed other crows as well, which gives the illusion that the mass of crows already completed the challenge for you.

  • @PigNRun said:

The best map for this is Haddonfield. Do a few laps around the outskirts and you will be done. Lery's has a deceptively high amount of crows, but most of them are hidden. Hawking's is pretty good as well.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1252531#Comment_1252531

They permanently fly off if that generator is completed or if all generators are completed/blocked for EGC. Thats why I always try getting that one out of the way first to avoid alerting the Killer when someone starts working on that one later in the match.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1252612#Comment_1252612

I have actually seen people say the opposite. That they only count as one crow.

I also get that one out of the way, but I wasn't sure if they were still there because it's not really something I'm paying attention to. Plus my memory is bad, so I probably do that Generator BECAUSE of that exact reason you said.

    @Saitamfed said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1252555#Comment_1252555

I did the challenge on that map. I can assure you the mass of crows counts for the challenge.

That's not what PigNRun claims. There seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions here, so there isn't really a way to confirm this without proper evidence. You and sunallanu could've also gotten stray crows while playing normally afterwards, which made you think the crow mass counted towards the challenge in bulk.

Or PigNRun could be wrong too, I don't know. Some solid evidence needs to be thrown here, otherwise the conversation seems to be split.

  • @SunaIIanu said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1252555#Comment_1252555

I'm pretty sure that they count. Someone mentioned it in the forums and I tried it with the 30 (or was it 20?) crow challenge in one of the old tomes and I got it easily in first try on the pale rose and so did my bf. Might be an oversight on the dev's part, because it definitly makes the challenge a lot easier but it works.

Seems like an oversight yeah, if it's not than I don't know... I guess It gives those obstacles some use besides being a passive notification for the Killer, especially since they only exist on the swamp maps.

  • @batmanscar

No, you actually get less points for not re-hooking them back onto the hook. You gain points each time you hook a Survivor again and again on the hook, if they just die in the 2nd phase than you miss out on the potential extra points you could've gotten by chasing, downing, and re-hooking them. If they die in the 2nd phase than you get the normal last sacrificial points that a Survivor gives upon a successful sacrifice.

Basically, no, you don't get extra points if they die in the 2nd phase.

  • @Deadeye said:

If the crows on the swamp main buildings all count against the challenge, that would most likely be the best map. The next best map would be Hawkins. If you run Spies on that map, you will see how close they are and how many of them. Not sure about Lery's but I think there are also a lot. On The Game there are definitely almost no crows

I personally don't know if the mass of crows actually count toward the challenge, if they did than that would be too easy upon further examination. I don't know how many crows are on the two main swamp builds for both the swamp maps, but it would most likely take a good chunk out of the challenge if it counted every single crow that's disturbed.

It either counts for every single one of them, or it just counts it as 1 crow. It might not even count it at all, the "obstacle" that the mass of crows makes up is only shown on both the swamp maps... So... who knows.

  • @SunaIIanu said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1252468#Comment_1252468

There are multiple crows sitting on the big ship on pale rose and on the pantry on grim pantry. If a survivor or a killer gets near the ship or the pantry they will all be disturbed, I think you can hear that over the entire map.

I'm not sure but I think they are gone once the generator on the building is finished.

I can't confirm if that last part is true, I don't remember seeing crows on the ship after a Generator is completed, but my memory isn't the greatest to begin with.

But now I get what you mean by "Crow Bombs", you could technically say both the swamp maps have this, but I think those are the only maps that have something like that. I could be wrong, but no other map comes to mind at the moment.

  • @SunaIIanu said:

The crow bombs on the swamp maps are also quite useful if you're trying to do the challenge, because every single crow of the bomb will count.

I'm curious to understand what you mean by "Crow bombs".

I just checked and in the Wiki those 2 parts are written seperately while ingame it's merged to one sentence. That's why I was confused. But you answered it anyways. Thanks.

No problem, glad I could clear things up for you.

  • @MrDardon

Since the perk says "Great Skill-Checks grant an Progression bonus of 1%" while also ignoring the token cost when hitting Great Skill-Checks off the bat, it's safe to assume that the perk grants this bonus overall, rather than it coming from the token cost Great Skill-checks.

It only talks about Great Skill-checks in-general that get this bonus, not just the token cost skill-checks.

  • @PeenutsButt3r

Usually the bigger maps have the most crows, which respawn periodically for you to re-disturb.

The biggest map is Mother's Dwelling, but any map from the Cold-wind farms category, Macmillan category, or Auto-Haven category of maps will also work just fine. But if you want a BIG BIG map to do this challenge on, do it on Mother's Dwelling. Small maps will naturally have less crows, so the biggest map should be a good pick.

unfortunatly not, but since its happening a lot others may do so or i will if it happens again

Understandable, if it does happen again than you should record it indeed. If you don't submit a report than i'm sure the OP or someone else will on your behalf.

  • @Revzi100 said:

i just had a match against myers and i see what you mean. i was on the underground complex map doing a totem when i heard his breathing, i was running Spine Chill but it didnt active until i started to hear the heart beat so he must of been pretty far away.

Did you record it by chance? Since if you did, you can submit a Bug Report for review in the Bug Report sub-forum. If it's accepted, which I assume it would be since others have noticed this bug, than it'll be acknowledged and hopefully fixed in the next hotfix.

  • @Equus said:

Thanks for answering, makes it a bit more clear. It could be a bug didn't think of that. I don't have a video but I hope to capture it today while I do my archive challenges. Fingers crossed I encounter both of them. The sound is definitely louder to a point that myers can't even sneak up anymore and Billy sounds wheezy.

I noticed it a bit in-game as well, but not to the extreme you mentioned in your post.

Hopefully you do encounter it though, since it seems quite selective in how it's triggered.

  • @SurvivorsNeedFasterQ

This post is kind of ironic since awhile ago the Survivors would have the faster queue times and the Killers would have the longer ones. Now it's kind of reversed since Dedicated Servers came around. I believe it had something to do with an update but I'm not sure.

Regardless, queue times really depend on what time you're playing at (usually your peak time is the best time), what region you're in, and what rank you're in as well. I have noticed that Red Rank queue times for Survivor are a bit slow, taking about 3 minutes, while Killer queue times are almost instant.

But again, it really depends on a lot of factors and how many people are playing on one side vs the other.

  • @AnnoyedAtTheGame said:

Isn't their any devs note anywhere so we can compare now from before? I'd say something but the devs are banning people for writing negative posts. I think they have never heard the phrase " Don't fix something that isn't broken ".

    0 friends on the game.

I'm not really going to comment on the devs banning players part, the devs have their own reasons for what they do, but I will say that they don't play players that don't agree with their changes... That's not really realistic.

As for the question, I don't personally know if there's anything stated in the patch notes about the previous sensitivity. At a quick glance in the patch notes, there was a change to the controller sensitivity but that's about it. I can't really confirm any theories you might have about this either, but if it was unintentional than I'm sure the devs are aware of it.

They actually changed Spine chill's description now to include vaulting. :D

That's good, some people really don't know about how useful Spine-Chill actually is.

  • @powatanninja

This sounds more like a latency issue than a lunge increase. Every Killer in the game has the same lunge, some look more disjointed than others because of how their weapon is designed. So for example, Freddy has one of the most "disjointed" lunges because he uses a claw instead of something like a knife or a sword. The claw looks like it would have less range, while a knife or a sword would have more range from an outside view.

But again, this just sounds like a latency issue. If the recent patch notes does not say anything about a lunge increase, than it's safe to assume there was no lunge increase to begin with. After a quick glance at the recent patch notes, there wasn't a lunge increase.

  • @Kernelzilla

It could be an issue with the new update but I can't confirm that unfortunately.

You can try reporting it to the Bug Report sub-forum if you think it's a note-worthy issue, otherwise there isn't much else to discuss here. It could be a bad connection for your and/or your teammate but that's stretching it a bit. Like I said, report it to the Bug Report sub-forum and see where it goes from there. If someone has already posted the same issue on that sub-forum, than be sure to up-vote it and maybe leave a comment, if they haven't than you should make the post.

Thank you for your answer, my mouse dpi is high, so even %1 sensitivity was pretty fast for me and I've changed a code from the input.ini and it cut my in game sensitivity by half. I thought maybe there was another line to make x and y even, that's why I wanted to ask. Again thanks for the answer.

Btw this is the code that I've changed to cut my sens in half:

    "AxisMappings=(AxisName="LookUp",Key=MouseY,Scale=-1)

    AxisMappings=(AxisName="Turn",Key=MouseX,Scale=1)" I've made them -0.5 and 0.5

I believe someone else had this issue with mouse sensitivity, it had something to do with the update making 100% EXTREMELY fast while 50% is about the same as before the update. Or at least that's what someone said when they suggested it to the OP.

Anyways, I don't think it's possible to change both the X and Y axis to be even. Even if it is, I don't know how to do it. Hopefully you're able to figure it out, I wish I could direct you somewhere that might know... But I don't think there's anywhere else you can ask besides here.

I played a whole regular game and looked for crows everywhere, 0 total by the end of a match 😭

You can try using a the offering "The Last Mask" to get on either The Temple of Purgation or Mothers dwelling. Both those maps are pretty big with a lot of crows to disturb.

If you're trying to do this on something like The Game or Hawkins Laboratory than you'll naturally get less crows as said above. Hopefully you got your challenge done though, which i'm sure you did.

  • @Vulgstein

No, not through the default settings anyways.

I also don't think it's even possible to edit both sensitivities to become equal. Even if you could, messing with the files opens an entirely different can of worms. I think the "do at your own risk" situation applies to editing settings through the game files, but I'm just not sure if EAC really cares about that. Regardless of if there's a risk, there isn't a way to edit it through the in-game settings.

Yeah, i was planning to replace either resilience or spine chill with Decisive or Borrowed. Due to many killers tunneling and camping apparently. It seems to work just fine

That's the best choice you could have yeah, especially in a SWFs.

Spine-Chill + Resilience is kind of a niche combo anyways, if you're going to use one of the two perks than you should use Spine-Chill. It's only 3 less points than Resilience, it gives you a notification for when a Killer is looking at you at a certain distance, and it gives bonuses to a lot of other action speeds as well. The action speed increase to opening Exit Gates is actually pretty good in some scenarios.

  • No problem, glad I could help.

Also for your reply above, I don't personally think it's good to use in a SWFs, it's more-so a solo build thing... And even that is kind of meh if you want me to be honest. If you're in a SWFs, use something like Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, anything that's useful for you and your team. You can even use Kindred and other perks as well that benefits both you and your team in the long run.

  • @Luna1980

Spine-Chill has a lot of hidden action speed boosts when a Killer is looking in your direction, increased vault speed is one of them. Resilience also has a vault speed increase, but that's actually listed in the description.

If you add Spine-Chill and Resilience at Tier lll together, than that's a 15% action speed increase to vaulting since 6% is coming from Spine-chill (when active) and 9% is coming from Resilience when injured. It's not a HUGE increase, but you'll notice it a bit when you compare it with the default vaulting speed.

Here's the link to spine-chill on the dbd wiki as proof of my claim above

Scroll down to "affected interaction speeds" and you'll see a full list of what Spine-Chill affects. Vaulting speed is just one of the 11 or so action speeds that're affected by Spine-Chill.

  • @Goosexe

You're not the only one who's noticed this issue, another forum member asked this question as well on this exact sub-forum... So it does seem there's a bit of an audio issue with certain footsteps and breathing.

I wouldn't really report this to the support team unless it's urgent, it's better to just report it to the Bug Report sub-forum and give a detailed description with some optional proof as well.

  • @Luna1980

BHVR has shown that they're interested in the possibility of Cross-Play, you can see this from a past survey during The Deathslingers DLC launch and the inclusion of Windows and Steams Cross-play compatibility. But that doesn't mean it's 100% confirmed, nor does it mean we have any information about console cross-play compatibility at this time.

Before anyone says it, yes certain players HAVE been able to get cross-play on PS4 through unofficial means, that doesn't mean it's ready for a wide-stream release yet to console. We still know every little about what's happening with this concept, so we need to wait and see.

  • @Equus

I personally haven't seen any issues with Myers or Billies breathing. If you can produce a video for the Bug Report sub-forum though, then you can report the issue there and see if the devs pick up on it.

Also, Myers always left a "breathing sound" when he's nearby, but it was hard to hear because of the other ambient sounds in-game as well. But from the sound of it, you can hear him from about 16 meters or so, which is a decent amount of distance for you to get notified and run away. I haven't seen anything about Myers having this issue, but I can tell you Billy hasn't shown signs of it that I know of. HOWEVER, there has been a recent post about this as well on this exact sub-forum, so I wouldn't doubt there's an audio bug with this at the moment.

So again, if you produce a video for the Bug Report sub-forum than you can report it there and have the issue taken care of in a future hotfix.

You can purchase cosmetics for a character before buying said character, but you won't be able to use them until after you have bought the character. So no, it doesn’t unlock it.

If you want to get technical than yes, it does unlock the cosmetic until you own the character.

But yeah, you won't be able to use a cosmetic for a character you don't even own.

If you're absolutely sure you didn't have any pips at Rank 6, than it's either a visual bug or a literal bug with the pips. You can try restarting the game to see if it's a visual bug or not, but you can also re-gain another pip or two to see if it goes to 3-4 instead of 2-3. If none of that changes anything, than you can report it to the Bug Report sub-forum.

If you do the latter option than check if any similar posts are already on that sub-forum, if there is a similar post than up-vote it and maybe leave a comment. Of course if there isn't any posts about this specific bug, than you can create one yourself to get the "conversation rolling".

Thank you. I knew that 2 stacked together but I was told by someone(who has thousands of hours played) that it was no more than 2.

I also have thousands of hours, but that's not really an indication that I know everything there is about this game. The same goes for your friend, he might have thousands of hours but his information might've been sourced from other incorrect information. That isn't to say it's his fault for not knowing the right answer, but it's easy for every person you meet to tell you something different in this game.

Usually if you're asking someone, it's best to have them site their sources if needed or get a second guess from another experienced player. Not everyone knows the same things about this game, so it's always good to use references like official comments, the DBD Wiki, and in-game testing, etc.

Also, it doesn't say anywhere that they don't combine, but neither does most things you're looking up that're niche, like the Dark Mist bottles for example. So like I said, unless it's noted that it caps or doesn't stack in the description, than it's safe to assume that they do. There hasn't been anything to say otherwise, plus each Petrified Oak only adds about 3.5 meters (as the DBD Wiki states) for each oak, so 9 meters isn't really that big of a change anyways.

I would advise, if you want to pip, to learn how the ranking system works and what you have to do, not to do and to what degree you need to do it to get a certain result.

for example i know that with a decent chase and 3 pallet stun as a sirvivor i get gold/iri boldness score. Which is 3/4 points in the ranking system

That's a good point, @TheShadow78 will probably need this to the DBD Wiki post on emblems then. Also FYI TheShadow78, the post for that link says that the Gatekeeper emblem is not up-to-date, so you'll have to refer to other source material for that one. Unless asked, than I can summarize it in someway for you.

what do you mean tier one , is that evil within level 1 ( so evil within not leveled up to 2 ) ?

also are there any add-ons for ghostface that make me marking a survivor for a 1 hit down progress faster and if yes what are they ?

and can I mark a survivor while nightshroud is active ?

Tier l, Tier ll, and Tier lll is a slang term that a lot of Killer mains use for Michael Myers Evil Within l, ll, and lll states. It's easier to type out "Tier lll" than it is to type out "Evil Within lll". So when I say Tier l, i'm saying Evil Within level 1. The same goes for Tier ll and Tier lll, i'm saying Evil Within 2 and 3.

Also yes, you can use add-ons like "Ghost Face caught on Tape" to Tremendously reduce your Stalk time while not leaning from corners, but the trade off is that it also Tremendously increases your Stalk time while leaning from corners. You can also use other add-ons like Night Vision Monocular or Knife Belt Clip to increase your Stalk time while not leaning from a corner. If you want to look more into it yourself than I can actually provide the DBD Wiki post about Ghostface. This post gives you a lot more details about Ghostface and displays each add-on you'll get in the blood-web for him.

Also yes, Nightshroud needs to be active in order to stalk someone. If you're broken out of it, than you can't stalk a Survivor until it's recharged. If you hit a Survivor with your basic attack while they're at any charge percentage, than they actually lose all that charge progress because you hit them. So keep that in-mind in-case you decide to just do a basic chase, which isn't a terrible idea on Ghostface.

Here's the link to ghostfaces dbd wiki post

Like I said, this link will bring you to the DBD Wiki post for Ghostface. It has every add-on that you can review yourself, but it also has some good information about his power and some small trivia as well.
