Bro, furtive decreases your torror radius by 16 meters while in chase. Thats 24 -16 = 8. Monitor and abause decreases you terror radius outside of chase by 8 meters, but when you are in chase it increases it by 8 meters instead so 24 - 16 + 8 = 16
Yes, thank you for letting me know.
I found this out from the comment before your comment, hence why my recent comment says "Yeah, I wasn't aware it only works in a chase which doesn't make a lot of sense?" Which it doesn't, that's an odd addition, but I suppose it's so you don't have 24 Meter Killers with 0 Terror Radiuses from this fictional combo.
So yeah, don't use this combo it's counter-productive. I guess it's called "Furtive Chase" for a reason, but it's still an unorthodox condition.

I don't think anyone can get banned?
It's reportable as far as the In-Game reports say, but the Game Rules say nothing about it being bannable so... it doesn't seem to be the case yeah, but you could still run the risk of being reported if you do it a lot.

@Peasant said:
My only question would then be, when you have 0 TR does the red stain vanish?
No, unless you have the undetectable status effect than the Red Stain will NOT vanish.
In a chase it's meh, out of one your Deathslinger has 16 meters with M&A, which actually means in a chase you just have 8... so... yeah, I wasn't aware it only works in a chase which doesn't make a lot of sense?
So no, don't use Furtive Chase, use M&A if you want a stealth Deathslinger.

I just find "basically Ghostface . . . with a gun." extremely entertaining.
I mean, that's all GhostFace is... a gunless M1 weirdo.
With 0 Terror Radius on Deathslinger you can basically sneak up on people with Nurse's Calling and snipe them, pretty W I L D !

how? furtive chase only works on chases, that's why it's a ######### perk
edited
I wasn't aware that Furtive Chase only activates IN a chase and not out of one, so pairing M&A with it would only hinder its effects... so using Furtive Chase in any Stealth Scenario is kind of pointless when you look at it from a Stealth Killers view.
-
No, afking once or twice in-game isn't really going to do much of anything.
If you do it constantly, than you could run the risk of being reported. This doesn't mean you should go out and AFK against every problem, but being reported for it after doing it like once isn't a BIG risk, so you should be fine. The Game Rules on the forums also don't say anywhere that AFKing is a reportable or bannable offence, but the in-game report still does for Unsportsmanlike conduct I believe, so it's a bit confusing when you look at it from that stand-point.
All in all, just don't do it again and you'll be fine, if you do because you're busy irl or something than it can't be helped of course, just don't make it a habit.
-
Also for context, the Xbox Game Pass is not a gate-way for playing with PC players. This is a common misconception that makes other plays believe they're playing with PC players, but in reality there is NO Cross-Progression/Cross-Play at this time.
Any information that's on this is currently unknown, all we know is that it's indeed on BHVRs mind as seen in a past poll on Cross-Play. (But it was only a few questions, not an entire discussion on it... just to also clarify)

Guys, the focus here is that Furtive marks the hook rescuer with the Obsession marks and Make your choice exposes the rescuer. Would the Deathslinger actually benefit from being able to reliably know who was exposed, since he can reel in exposed survivors for a 1 down melee with his gun?
Yes, if you make a build around it... say Furtive Chase, Monitor & Abuse, Make Your Choice, and Nurse's Calling, than you could benefit from this in some way.
The issue is that The Deathslinger doesn't have increased range add-ons, nor does he have the range to nab someone with the exposed status effect after making the proper distance to activate it. You could argue it would waste time to walk away from the hook, than walk all the way back with a 4.4m/s... if it's on a small map, than yes it would be great, a big map though? No, I only see this crippling you because of your inherently slow movement speed.
If you only care about the two perks (Furtive Chase and Make your choice)...
Than yes, on a small map it would be pretty good. On a big map like Mothers Dwelling? It would just hinder you because of your inherently slow movement speed...
Also, you can't harpoon someone who's farther than... idk... 16 meters I believe? So you'd have to get fairly close, you'd have to pray you keep and eye on whoever unhooked them, hope nobody comes by who might confuse you into thinking THEY'RE exposed, etc. If you're not focusing on the combo, than it can be helpful yes, but I just don't see it taking priority over other perks for ranged Killers, at least from a personal stand-point.
But if you use it, than Medium Maps and Small Maps is where this combo benefits most.

@Awkward_Fiend said:
Yeah, it should probably be reworked into something along the lines of "Wiggle out of grasp 10% faster, grants 3 extra jumps off hook."
This'll have 2 benefits. The most important is that it becomes a more usable perk, while the second is that it no longer is a direct counter to an already poor killers power.
I feel like if you combo'ed this with Flip-Flop, Tenacity, and Unbreakable, than you'd have a strong build for Killers that slug or just in-general leave you on the ground for a few seconds.
Just add this reworked Slipper Meat, and you'll have a 40% progression bar + a 10% bonus to wiggle speed as well. I don't agree that the Trapper part of Slippery Meat should stay, since it's fairly outdated, but I feel there's also a good reason to why we don't have wiggle speed perks.
-
No, they haven't. Your guess is as good as ours on why they haven't released a PTB for Console, limitations? Time? it's unknown right now and probably will stay unknown until a lot of major fixes have been implemented.
They could be busy with the Rank Rework, the new upcoming Chapter, etc.

Well, its a perk from the days where there was like, three killers, and they were making perks to counter their powers.
Now its 2020, and the Trapper has accumulated all the counters he had back then and then some. They've gotten rid of a few, but Slippery Meat is kinda a relic with outdated design.
And I give Calm Spirit, Iron Will, and Dead Hard a pass because they have utility outside of direct counters to a power (not to mention they are easy to counter in themselves).
Slippery Meat is kinda like, "Hey, here's this perk. Oh, and you also make this Killer's power 25% more terrible btw."
I mean, the same can be said for Unrelenting, since that perk was used a lot in the 2016 meta, but we haven't seen a massive change to it since 2016 either right?
Also, there wasn't really a lot of perks that countered Killer powers, only a hand full did this, and even then the meta mostly consisted of Sprint Burst, Self-Care, etc. You could also argue that Slippery Meat also has utility outside of countering Trappers Traps... since the main purpose of Slipper Meat now-a-days is for a Kobe build, while the Trapper aspect is a side piece.
There isn't a perk that's strictly a counter to one Killer, they have use outside of what they're associated with. In the case of Slippery Meat, the opposite applies to the Trap counter... since, like I said, the perk is mostly for Kobe builds now while the Bear-Trap part stays on the side-lines for the most part, you rarely see anyone bring Slippery Meat to actively counter one Killer that's barely seen in Red/Purple ranks.
So again, the change itself would be hardly noticed. It's just one of those changes that really doesn't mix anything up, it's just a change for the sake of change I guess. That doesn't mean i'm against the idea, but I just don't see it being something that's note-worthy. To be honest, if they changed Slippery Meat they should just rework the perk entirely at this point.
-
Slippery Meat isn't entirely based on Bear-Traps alone, that's why it's only a side-note to the actual MAIN use, which is the 3 bonus escape attempts to unhook yourself.
The perk is also quite niche outside of Kobe builds, so it's not really something that's really... note worthy? Also, there's other perks that counter some Killer powers like Iron Will for Spirit, Calm Spirit for Doctor, Dead Hard for Huntress (Kinda), etc. It's kind of an odd addition to the perk itself, but the perk isn't really used that often to garner a big change in the first place.
If it was removed from Slippery Meat, I doubt anyone would really notice.

I don't know where a video is, but if you lunge at the right position at the stacked hay (beside the platform that leads up to the hay baler) than you can lunge yourself onto the hay, go around the loop, and walk right onto the other-side of the window that most Survivors use on that loop.
The closest video I could find is this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdgANSM1kBkYou can lunge around that side of the harvester like how the oni sprinter onto it, it requires a huge burst of speed to do though. This is why Killers lunge at this part of the harvester, it gives them just enough speed to lunge onto the hay bales at the harvester and loop around to the other side of the window as seen in this video.
This tech is called the "Hay Baler Tech" but it's more commonly known as the Harvester Tech.

Yeah, i think it would be a good market tatic to make the game free in PS4, cause then it will be free to play on-line without PS Plus, and than they would not lose the player base when someones PS Plus expires. I see a lot of mates stopping playing cause their PS Plus expired and cant afford a new subs for a while, while they can expend money inside the game with DLC and customs.
Usually, online games with main profits from DLC and customs are free on PS4, so ppl dont stop playing them.
I mean, that's how you make money if you're releasing free titles on a monthly subscription service.

Good to know. I didn't even knew that was possible as a survivor with +250 hours. So they're not totally hidden, there's an small piece of Hitbox left from the sides...
Yeah, but it requires a precise hit and a small bit of mind-gaming to pull off.
That, or you can just determine where that small bit of hitbox is and just yolo swing at it. Either way, it's in-general a waste of time unless the Killer is tricked into hitting the unhooked Survivor with BT on, which just gives the unhooker a 100% chance to escape with no damage applied. But if you hit the hooked Survivor and than hit the unhooker afterwards, you can chase them and just down them at a nearby loop.
It's sort of useful, but not against Killers that're aware of the tech by now.

I personally doubt it's a bug or exploit, it's like the hay-baler tech, it has been stated that it's allowed and Killers won't be banned if they do it. I feel the same scenario is applied here, but it hasn't really been talked about yet.
Whether it is an exploit, a bug, etc, that's unknown. It hasn't shown itself in the past, so one can only assume it's a recent discovery OR something that's caused by a past patch.

In Ps Plus, you need to add the game to the library (buy for free) while its in free offer, but you dont need to download it. If someone got the game in August 2018 (bought for free), he can download it at any time in the future. But if someone didnt get the game in August 2018, so he lost the free opportunity, and may pay for the game as much as others without Ps Plus do.
So, in order to download DBD for free in PS4, one should had bought it for free via PS Plus in August 2018, not only be a PS Plus member then cause its not enough.
Thats why I aways get the game (buy for free) of every game in free offer on PS Plus, eventhough I dont plan downloading it, cause only doing that I secure the right to play it for free in the future, if I wish.
Sorry using the word "license", didnt think of one better before.
Ah, I understand now, so you're securing the ability to download the game whenever you want for free in the future because of this deal.
But regardless, it's only happened once on PS Plus (again, as far as I know) and that's it, whenever it does or if it does happen again is entirely unknown. Perhaps when a deal comes out for DBD, some kind of community sale, or just in-general a PS Plus free games sale, than he can get it for free and download it anytime he wants, but until than, it's still 20$ at this time.

No, they're not untouchable when doing the "hook tech". The hook tech, which is what it's commonly referred to, is when a Survivor gets under the hook right when another Survivor is being brought and hooked on said hook. The end result allows the other Survivor to stay under them and gain a chance to either get the Killer to hit the hooked Survivor (which allows the "unhooker" to unhook that Survivor and get a free hit to get chased) or the Killer can go side by side at the hook and hit the Survivor under that hook.
It's best you not release their names, as this tech is very well known already among the forms and the DBD community. As for "is this bannable?" no, it's not. The tech itself isn't even good in my opinion, since you can just sit there and let the hooked Survivor die or wait until the Survivor under them goes for the rescue (which you just simply hit them once while unhooking and again to down them).
Here's how you can mind-game this tech
Once the Survivor does this hook tech, you can mind-game it by moving to the right and left sides of the hook, by doing this the Survivor under the hooked Survivor is forced to move to avoid having their body stick out and getting hit. If you do this a few times, you can double back on one side and get a free hit on them, if it fails you can just slug the unhooked Survivor, which I wouldn't since Survivors that do this tech have Borrowed Time, or you can just hit them after the hit cool-down and than chase and down the unhooker, simple as that.
Also, my explanation might be confusing so i'll explain it a bit more. When I say "move to the right or left of the hook and than double back on one side" I mean go to the left side of the hook, or where the Survivor that's under the hooked Survivors body is poking out, and than keep forcing them to move to the opposite side to avoid being hit, after you do this, you can do something like left, right, left, right, left for a second, than instantly back to right to hit them.

Hmmm... feels like they could change the RNG to first choose a realm, and them choose a map from that realm...
It's unknown if it already does this, but for the most part it's just entirely RNG.
Despite something being RNG, if something like say... a category like the 4 above have way too many maps, than you'll most likely see those maps more than something like Yamaokas Estate, Lery's, Crotus Prenn Asylum, etc. Even if it was based on that system of RNG, it's still RNG regardless.

As I said before, there is no PS4 or Xbox DBD Discord, there also isn't anything specifically tied to those versions in the official Discord either, you have to look for players on the same version and ask around in the official DBD Discord to find players from that version.
Besides that, there isn't anything specifically tied to those version on that Discord... it's just a general place to chat and such, you'll have to look around if you're looking for something specific in there.

Every issue takes time, not everything can be addressed in one patch or immediately when the problem is brought to BHVR.
Things will happen eventually, when it does is unknown.
-
No, Overcharges effects don't combo with Surge.
If you saw videos on Pop and Surge, that also doesn't work, Surge is just canceling out Pops activation and not actually using it.
-
The challenge "Protect Forever" requires you to get 4 safe unhooks OR take 4 protection hits for your fellow teammates. A Safe Unhook is when you a Survivor is unhooked from the hook and doesn't get hit right after. A Protection Hit is when you take a hit for a Survivor that's injured, taking a hit for a Survivor that's healthy does not count towards the challenge and is not considered a protection hit.
This all has to be done with the perk "We're Gonna Live Forever" equipped as well, any Tier of this perk will do. You'll know if you completed this when you get tokens for the perk We're Gonna Live Forever, which is indicated next to the perk with the number 4 under it. Having the Numbers 1 means you took 1 protection hit or unhooked someone safely, 2 means you did that twice, 3 means you did this 3 times and so on for a max of 4 tokens in the perk itself.
This has to be done in ONE match altogether. Which means if you unhooked someone safely/took a protection hit twice, than it won't carry over to the next match you attempt this challenge in.
-
Like an app? No, I doubt anything like that would exist in the future.
The game needs to be open for you to purchase perks, add-ons, cosmetics, etc. It's not really possible to do this without going in-game yourself and purchasing them.

No...?
The game is constantly changing with new DLC and content that's brought to the table. As a result, new issues can arise from this new content. New bugs and issues will always come from new content, that's normal for every game that deals with a large player-base. More players means more people to come across these bugs and report it, the more reports means BHVR is more aware of said issues.
So no, there will always be something that needs to be fixed in a multiplayer game, that's normal for any game you play with a big player-base.

If it was accidental, than we would be more aware of this issue in-game.

No, this tech hasn't been removed in the LIVE version of DBD (3.5.2)
As for the PTB of version 3.6.0, it was difficult to pull off the tech in-game... but this just seems to be a strange bug that affects both Survivors and Killers sometimes when getting close to a hooked Survivor. This bug would cause Killers/Survivors to get stuck on the hooked Survivor and push them away from said hooked Survivor.
This doesn't seem intentional, so I wouldn't automatically assume it is until 3.6.0 is officially launched. Once it is, than you can see for yourself if it crossed over from the PTB (which I doubt it would since it looked like a simple PTB bug).
As for the current version of DBD...
No, this tech is still possible in-game for any Survivor to do.
It could just be lag or something that's causing this, since it's still possible to do in-game (which I've seen first hand as a Survivor playing with teammates that were still doing it.)
-
Just a side note, as the Status Update says, this is NOT an immediate patch that'll be thrown out.
The match-making changes will be gradually implemented into DBD. It's a common misconception that players will see it in one patch all together, but this is not the case as the Status Update says.
A quote from the match-making status update
"The release of these changes will be gradual. With the release of the mid-chapter update, we are able to start tracking skill levels. For the time being, this is only a test and is not being used for matchmaking purposes. Once we are confident that the skill rating is working as intended, we will be running tests on live servers."
-
It should be where it's always been, in the Character Info section which can be found in the Top Right part of the Killer's Main Menu. To be more specific, it's below your Killer Rank and the name of the Killer you're currently using. Click the box that says "Character Info", scroll over to The Oni's section, and than you'll find the Attributes of that Killer below in it's own section.
If you'd like a more thorough explanation on a specific Killer...
Than you can go to the DBD Wiki to get a more "In-Depth" explanation on The Oni themselves. The DBD Wiki is NOT an official source made by BHVR, but it's a collective piece of information that many users have compiled for the DBD Community to use. It should have the information on The Oni's Movement speed in and out of his Demon Dash for you to see, just click the link below to go to his page.

Combined with m&a can actually give you a 0 terror radius.
Yes, but his argument is that the "obsession dies" part is why hardly anyone uses it.
If you use it right, than yes it would be a good combo. But it's like the STBFL concept, you need to avoid hitting and/or downing the obsession to preserve your stacks.
-
Unless the PSN Store has it on sale for free for a week or two than no, it'll have to be purchased with money.
They could have a sale in the future for new players to get it for free, but that's entirely up to speculation on when or if that happens.
-
It's an OK combo, but that's about it.
For Killers that rely on ranged attacks like Deathslinger and Huntress, you'll want to use some combo's like Nurse's Calling, BBQ & Chili, Whispers, even Unrelenting has some use since you can break the Deathslingers chain by pressing M1, which is than recovered 30% faster by Unrelenting.
Make Your Choice would be OK on Deathslinger since you can insta-down the Survivor with the exposed effect, and Furtive Chase is... decent, since you do get a 16 meter reduction with all 4 tokens. The downside is that you lose this reduction when the obsession dies, so that's mostly why Killers like Hag or Myers don't use it.
An alternative...
It's best to use Monitor & Abuse on Deathslinger if you'd like a more stealthy sniper approach with Make Your choice. M&A reduces his Terror Radius by 8 Meters out of chases, and since Deathslinger is a ranged Killer it benefits him more, since you won't really go into a chase until you get fairly close, so you could (in theory) long range snipe the exposed Survivor, reel them in, and than get a fast down.
Furtive Chase is a gamble, if the obsession is the one that goes down a lot more than the other Survivors, than you'll have to slug him to prevent your stacks from dissipating. In my opinion, it's better to go with M&A if you'd like to use this combo.

Mhm, ok, kind of stupid that you can have a Freddy right beside the hook camping and BT doesn't trigger. Waking up doesn't always help either, because if he hits you before you unhook you're in the dream state again. So you just spend too much time trying to wake up for basically no reward.
Stealth Killers just ignore BT all together, hence why they're considered a "hard counter" to something like BT escapes.
With Freddy, their Lullabies are not actually tied to their Terror Radius, they're considered an entirely different class of "Terror Radius", hence why BT doesn't work, since they're not technically a Terror Radius. It's kind of odd, but for Freddy it only really affects BT half of the time, since out of the Dream World it's a normal Terror Radius, but in it is a Lullaby. As for Huntress, It's not entirely that much of a counter when you realize how her Lullaby works.
As for Killers like Myers or GhostFace, they do indeed counter BT. The same goes for the perk Insidious, since you're not technically IN a Terror Radius due to it being masked by the perk itself.

For the record editing the resolution values in the ini files doesn't even work, same thing goes for setting steam launch parameters they don't work since they're completely ignored because this game only uses your current desktop resolution.
So changing your desktop resolution before starting and while you're playing is the only way, which definitely isn't illegal.
I wouldn't see why it would be "illegal" in the first place, since their system wouldn't really be able to catch that, even if it was illegal.
All in all, I don't see why someone would do this to their game, it's mostly hindering them since DBD isn't really an FPS or anything like that. Slight FOV changes are nice, which is why we have perks for that, but something that extreme is more hindering than helpful.
-
It could be many things, random crash, your internet lagged and shut itself down for a second, etc.
It's entirely unknown what really causes these crashes, but crashing unintentionally and intentionally will still penalize you anyways. It's not entirely something i'm crazy about, but it's actually necessary so players don't intentionally pull their plug to avoid matches they don't like AND avoid the DC Penalty System, hence why it penalizes every crash and intentional DC in-game as a result.
Hopefully a compromise will be made for players with bad internet, PCs that crash randomly, or just random in-game crashes. Since that's a common issue some players have been facing as of late.

It's 1k Auric Cells, as said above, to unlock the Premium Pass. If you already got to Tier 70 on the Free Pass, than all the Premium Pass rewards will be unlocked if you buy the Premium Pass afterwards.
It's important to note that every Premium Pass will give you the full 1k Auric Cells back if you complete all 70 Tiers of The Rift. Doing so will give you your 1k Auric Cells for future use on another pass AND all the rewards that Rift gives. So, if you're skeptical about the rewards that The current Rift gives, than you can get to Tier 70 (or a random Tier) and decide for yourself if it's worth paying the 1k Auric Cells for. If you naturally get to Tier 70 for every Rift, than you'll be rewarded all The Rift rewards for that Rift AND the 1k Auric Cells back as a side bonus.

March 9th, so the week after next week. If there isn't a delay than that's the time Level lV will release. Release dates are subject to change, so do keep that in mind. As said before, maps like MacMillan, ColdWind, Autohaven, and Badham will be chosen the most from this RNG based system BECAUSE they have the most map variants out of every other map in the game.
For context, i'll list below each category that was said above and what map you could get from just those 4 alone. The total amount of maps from these 4 categories alone is 20 in total. The total amount of maps in-general at this time is 33, soon to be 34 when Chapter 15's Dead Dawg Saloon map is released for the LIVE version.
Because of this, and the randomized nature of the map selection, your odds of getting one of these maps is much higher than getting something like Lery's, Hawkins, etc.
macmillan estate (5 maps in total)
- Coal Tower
- Groaning Storehouse
- Ironworks of Misery
- Shelter Woods
- Suffocation Pit
Autohaven wreckers (5 maps in totla)
- Azarov's Resting Place
- Blood Lodge
- Gas Heaven
- Wretched Shop
- Wreckers' Yard
Coldwind farm (5 maps in total)
- Fractured Cowshed
- The Thompson House
- Torment Creek
- Rancid Abattoir
- Rotten Fields
Springwood [Badham PreSchool] (5 maps in total)
- Badham Preschool l
- Badham Preschool ll
- Badham Preschool lll
- Badham Preschool lV
- Badham Preschool V
If you'd like to see the rest of the maps you could get, i'll link the DBD Wikis post on it below

As for "A dozen questions about cross-play" I don't remember there being a dozen of them, unless that was a figure of speech. As for the PS4 and PC thing, there is no official statements on console and PC cross-play being a thing yet, so I don't personally know how that happened.

Awesome, thanks for this answer. I will definitely start reporting lag switching when It seems like they are cheating.
No problem, it's beneficial for the sake of the ticket if you do add video evidence or not, it can even solidify the case if you do so. So it's entirely optional, but it's of course appreciated and beneficial to your case if you did record it.

I wouldn't worry about it if it's closed now, you can review various videos about Chapter 15's PTB if you missed any details. As for playing the Killer yourself, you'll have to unfortunately wait until the patch is fully released for the LIVE version of Dead By Daylight.

I always thought that she was moving at 92%, was it changed? Or was she always like this?
I think the previous percentage was just wrong, that's probably why it was changed. I don't entirely remember if there was a crouch speed increase/decrease in the patch notes, but I believe the percentage could've been just incorrectly written at the time, do it was fixed to reflect the right percentage.
I do remember The Pig getting some changes to her add-ons and the crouch, but I don't remember if it had something to do with crouch speed or how fast you could crouch. I think the latter? I don't remember.

important edit please read!!!
The post below is inaccurate. Apparently, Pop doesn't actually work with Surge and instead is just de-activated when Surge is used WITHOUT actually using Pop's 25%. All the data below is inaccurate and incorrect, from a logical stand-point this information was from an outside view on a simple combo, but this "combo" was actually just a bug.
If you're interested in the outdated information below, and i'll leave it up.
From the looks of it, if you have Pop active while Surge is not in cool-down, than Surge will take PGTW's regression penalty and evenly distribute it to any Generators it explodes, which I personally didn't know. It isn't entirely confirmed if each Generator takes a 25% penalty from PGTW, or if it's evenly distributed for that one hook you did.
So because of that, I'll list two scenarios below. The first being the most likely scenario, and the second being the most UNLIKELY scenario. The second is the most unlikely since having Surge apply 33% to every Generator nearby is extremely OP and busted...
- [Scenario 1] - [The most likely Scenario] (Surge applies a 8% regression penalty to any Generators within the 32 meter radius. If PGTW is active for use after you hook someone, than it takes PGTW and distributes it's 25% regression penalty between every Generator that Surge damages within that 32 meter Radius. So for 1 Generator that's 33%, for 2 Generators it cuts that 25% in half and applies 20.5% to both Generators, after that it'll keep being distributed evenly for how many Generators that're hit by Surge.)
- [Scenario 2] - [The most unlikely Scenario] (Surge applies a 8% regression penalty to any Generator within the 32 meter radius. If PGTW is active for use after you hook someone, than it takes PGTW's 25% regression penalty and copies it onto every Generator Surge hit's, meaning 3 Generators within Surges 32 Meter Terror Radius would apply a 33% regression penalty to each Generators total progress bar.)
Here's why scenario 1 is what actually happens in-game...
Scenario 2, as said above, is busted... since 33% to 3 Generators you don't have to kick is not only OP, but it's also extremely unfair. If you had this build, and 3 Generators were next to each other, than you'd never escape it wouldn't happen on a Killer like Spirit, or a good Nurse, or any Killer that can down and hook you quickly.
That's why Scenario 1 is the most likely scenario that this combo follows. Also, if you need proof that this combo does happen, than you can see it happen in the exact video you quoted below.
Here's the video you mentioned for context (Skip to 4:18 to see Pop combo with surge)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEByQWAfPTMtl;dr
Surge + Pop (when active after a Survivor is hooked) applies 33% to 1 Generator within Surges 32 meter radius. If more than 1 Generator is within this radius, than Pops 25% regression penalty is evenly distributed between the X amount of Generators that Surge damages.
If every Generator was hit with a 33% without this distribution, than that would be busted and extremely OP in some scenarios. So it's highly unlikely that this is how it works, and instead it distributes this percentage evenly.

The DBD Wiki changes its data every so often when something new is added or taken away. So this is probably why it was changed from 92%, to 90%, because the crouching speed was either decreased, or the data they got this from is wrong. But like before in another discussion, the work they do isn't always going to be correct and they're just humans of course.
Another video made a known DBD guide maker "Int3r4ct" states that the crouching speed is 92%, but this data could be from the old version of the DBD Wiki or another source, which ever of the two is unknown.
Here's the pigs guide from int3r4ct that mentions this (Skip to 1:14)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rcfoS3JnJg&t=289sAs for which percentage is correct...
The new data could be from the in-game files themselves, and since they reviewed them again, it could've been changed. Either way, it's unknown where this information was found, if it's accurate, and if it was a mistake or not. You can only hope that a Mod/Dev comes in to clear this up or not, and that's about it.
disclaimer
I'm in no way calling out the editor of the DBD Wiki that changed this data or questioning their intelligence in anyways. This disclaimer is to just make sure nobody gets the wrong idea. We appreciate all the work the editors do in the DBD Wiki and of course understand if something isn't always accurate. They're only human after all.
