You know someone who would love something like this? @Orion usually gives a fair criticism on stuff like this. I'd love to hear his opinion and many others on the subject.

Resilience is not a bad perk. Some survivors will refuse to heal and focus on gen repair.
It's a high risk high reward type situation when going with a No Mither build or a 99% healed build.
These perks need more depth on them but not much to seem too OP since you can just heal from that 99%, of course in a stealth killer will kill you right on the spot.

I skipped over a couple in the interest of time, but most of these seem very reasonable. I would say that Up the Ante and Coulrophobia don't really need a change. Both are very niche but provide some alternative playstyles as is. Up the Ante, when stacked with itself, can make for some great kobe builds. I also worry that the suggested rework for it would make it even f Coulrophobia also works great with a large terror radius build (doctor especially).
Most of these are very nice, though.
Understandable, i'll keep these in mind the next time I do a write up like this, some of the perks here are niche at best so they were never really supposed to be pushed into the meta.
Your feedback is appreciated!
-
Thank you very much @not_Queen I hope it will be of use to them.
-
An opinion from @Peanits @Patricia or @not_Queen would be appreciated, i'm open to your feed back and am looking forward to it.
This took a long time to write each individual perk description and power so it would be most appreciated.

@FireHazard The first pin was me cropping from what we had. The second was a better rendition and a upgrade to the original.
The third is something I use now cause I like it.
Yeah the first one is what I was talking about above, it was badly compressed. The 2nd was the upgraded version when everyone wanted to get fancy with it.
The 3rd ones the best in my opinion.

@FireHazard That would be my bad. I don't have the app needed to render it better. I don't know who cropped it to make it better. But I thank them for it.
Wasn't the old pin badly compressed too?

It really has. I remember back in the day when the shack had two windows and there were no window blockers. Or when sprint burst was 20 seconds and recovered in a chase. Or the window and pallet vacuums stronger than any Dyson on the market. It's crazy looking back and seeing how much the game has changed. You don't really notice it if you've been playing the whole time, but it's a night and day difference when you watch a video of the beta.
On some level, it makes me really happy that we're at the point now where Object of Obsession is being called an OP perk at times. I'd take that over infinites and the rest any day.
And soon we're turning three. Yay.
Yes, its nice to know where we came from. A lot of people don't really know how it used to be back in 2016 or the beta even.
Its interesting to see how stark of a contrast 2019 DBD is to 2016, its like chocolate and vanilla or water and fire. Its also nice to meet some creative and amazing individuals that still talk and make art for this game to this day.
The games had its ups and downs but the genre wouldn't be the same without it! And i'm very much excited for its 3rd anniversary as well, I can't wait to see whats in stored. Some new art contests, a new event maybe. Or even some nice visuals to celebrate, my minds just thinking of all the possible outcomes.

@FireHazard We never left, however I think I've been the sole pin user nowadays. Though, some like @Chaotic_Riddle uses their version of Legion now as a signature. I used to use the Rare version of the Legion pin, but I like the Iridescent Pin.
I like the new one better, mainly because its cropped out better than the rare version @Chaotic_Riddle and others in the past used.

And I explained why both ways aren't that good to do for them, no assuming from my side at all. They never gave something for free just because they changed something. Legacy isn't a good example for that
Isn't that the definition of what i'm saying of "They never gave something for free just because they changed something."
Legacy was given for free? And this was from a massive overhaul to one of the core mechanics to this games progression system.

@Rex_Huin said:
The longevity is quite amazing considering the game is really pretty repetitive with no real purpose to continued play other than unlocking perks. Whether by accident or design it definitely has something addictive about it where some people will play for hundreds of hours. I gotta say it mostly stirs negative emotions in me these days though...the thrills and excitement of the early days are now replaced by angst, anger and frustration.
As things change, so do peoples views. May that be in a good light or bad, people will change their opinions over time.
Its sad to see you view it like that these days, but its always good to be positive even in bad times. Because if you get frustrated or angry, you're only just hurting yourself ya know?
-
@White_Owl said:
Well, it's not that they forced you to play him. I played him with splinters, didn't like him and I didn't buy him and used the shrine to get his and Quentin's perks, it's really that simple.
If you played him it's natural to think that you kinda liked it, so why should you be rewarded for something you enjoyed?
I mean, that's a fair point.
But like I said, its a suggestion. I know most people DEMAND these things, but think of it as just a suggestion to reward people who wanted to go through that.
Like I said above though, its HIGHLY unlikely.
-
@Mr_K said:
You are not entitled to anything and the rework will more than likely make him worse.

I doubt that what they recorded for Legacy is similar in anyway to what information they would need for this. Also not everyone is prestiging characters. before we talked only about a general "reward". Checking on which level a character is and checking when you bought the DLC are really different. They could check if it is bought with auric cells from the store easily.
And as mentioned isn't that the real issue with that
Well that's why I said if the DLC one can't be done than the other suggested should be able to.
Who's to say they can or can't do it we can't really say for sure, we're not developers so how would we know. This is all speculation, so it could be a possibility or it could very well not be. But what I suggested is whats been done in the past VS the DLC suggestion which... hasn't.

I know why you think so but the amount of work them would be insane. I doubt they have a tool to check when a account bought a DLC, so everyone need to prove it with a screenshot they need to check manually. Also if the do this once they need to start doing it for every change they ever do to a DLC, because they can't satisfy everyone.
As much as I understand you and everyone else in this thread I just see too many drawbacks for Behaviour and so the game in the long turn
Well they could do it off of the old system when it came to the old Blood-Web.
When they were handing out Legacy skins they had a set system that checked who prestiged what character to what rank, that being l ll or lll.
Now if we take into account that DLC isn't a plausible solution THAN this one should be since the framework is still there from when they overhauled the Blood-Web. They could even set it to say (If you're Prestige lll you will receive this skin or set blood points) the possibility of that working is there, it just depends if they even do this which I doubt.

The report menu option on the far right (I believe it's called Unsportsmanlike Behaviour or something like that) specifically lists ragequits as something you should use the report system for. I know that during a dev stream it was said that disconnects are dealt with automatically but as far as I am concerned ingame information trumps dev stream information due to having a higher reach. So if we go by that logic something should happen if you consistently ragequit and get reported yet the problem has only gotten worse over time.
I'd imagine they see them and ignore them because of what I said above, but who's to say for sure since I can't 100% prove this statement.

Even then my answer wouldn't change. I think the perks I listed are pretty much useless and need significant changes and I am pretty sure many people will agree with me on the perks I have chosen.
Also, are you going to propose complete reworks or will you just tweak the numbers?
Streetwise is pretty much useless as it is but if you make it something like double the item's charges (32 charges instead of 16 charges for brown medkit) it can become meta. On the other hand, even if you make coulrophobia decreasing your healing rate by 500%, it is still going to be useless due to how that perk works currently.
I realize there isn't many perks in need of a change as much as I thought, about 12 for both sides (surprised it was even) but i'll wait a bit before making the post and see if anyone has something to add with a "valid" reason.

@Meme I was red last season and didn't see MoM or "second chance death squads" NEARLY as much as people claim I "should", and I never dodge either. Honestly seems less common than old DS to me.
I'm sure some players are just unlucky and run into it more than others but I find it hard to believe there's not a healthy dose of overexaggeration in play here.
People like to over-exaggerate everything they don't like to push for a change. They'll find that one team all using MoM for example and say that is every team you come across.
-
MoM, MoM, MoM, MoM. Love it when surviovrs mains say that the perk takes skill, LMAO.
If you're getting this bent out of shape over MoM, I can only imagine what you'd be like during the Pre-Patch days of DS.

The point of this post is as stated above to compile data on other players opinions on perks they have chosen and why they've chose them.
These perks will go under everything that should be considered, the current meta, killers powers, future and past buffs/nerfs (But not as much since i'm focusing on the here and now), and how they work with other perks.
When the list is created it will go in full depth on everything I've compiled here, so it will be a very long list indeed. I usually put a TL;DR in every post I make but with this one it will be mainly focused on presenting what I've compiled and in hopes will get a devs attention to give their opinion on it.
Of course i'm not expecting ANYTHING to happen with any of the perks i'll be working on, but I would at least like to see what the devs think on the matter when it is created.
[TL;DR]
I'll focus on this criteria, we'll go from Reworking if the specific perk doesn't need a rework than we'll go to tweaking the numbers, and if the perk doesn't need to be changed at all it will be put in its own section on the list.
Before the 3rd part of that criteria is met EVERYTHING will be put into consideration and a reason behind why it wasn't changed will be pinned to that perk.

Survivor: Left Behind (if that counts, it got recently changed, but it is as useless as before), Sole Survivor, Slippery Meat, Up the Ante.
Killer: Overwhelming Presence, Territorial Imperative, Beast of Prey, Monstrous Shrine, Hangmans Trick
I'll put Left Behind into consideration, as it was changed but the change didn't really do anything for the perk.

I agree with the community.
Survivors: Left behind, no one left behind, sole survivor, deja vu, this is not happening, and up the ante.
Killers: Monstrous shrine, beast of prey, territorial imperative, overwhelming presence, predator, dark devotion
This would be useful indeed, thank you for showing me this.
I'll use this, but what i'm looking for are fresh opinions on the subject. That doesn't mean I won't put this into consideration, i'm just looking for peoples opinions on the matter as well as their views of why they're "useless" or "slept on"

Because Legion spent the best part of a quarter of a YEAR on ultra-easy-mode and now they're paying the price?
No because they fixed a broken character to a point where he doesn't even resemble the core mechanics he was made to be in the first place.
Hes now just a Mid-Tier killer with a power that's objectively worse than just M1ing everyone to death. I agree a lot of things needed to be changed about him, but they nerfed him a bit too far for my taste.
They even nerfed Thanato because of him, and that perk was already trash. It just SO happened it had a place with him which is good, at least it was used for once.

@Ihatelife said:

It's still doesn't make sense why Legion suffers longer than Wraith. If this is all about the tactic to get to survivors as close as possible, than Wraith is more a threat to the survivors.
Of course its more of a tactic, as he can just stealth behind them and uncloak and unless a pallets right there they'll get hit.
As with Legion his cooldown is so long so his power "isn't too OP" which even if it was 3 seconds its still terrible. You have to keep in mind, his nerf took nothing into consideration it was more a long the lines of getting rid of what people complained so much about to the point that nobody would post about it anymore.
But they didn't consider people would post about how bad he currently is now...
-
Monstrous Shrine has always been a niche perk but it’s never really been rewarding enough for how situational it is.
Doesn't this defeat the purpose of the perks namesake? Its a monstrous shrine aka the basement hooks. wouldn't they have to rename the perk also to fit this new suggestion?
Don't get me wrong it makes the perk more useful, it just doesn't stay true to what its meant for...
-
Wraith: It takes 3 seconds for him to uncloak + he gets the one second sprint burst after this. Legion: Suffers 4 seconds.
Because Legion was butchered so badly that doesn't surprise me.
All his add-ons were butchered except maybe like 3, his powers are only good for damage priority on survivors. This isn't bad if they didn't nerf Thanato which worked wonders with his ability.
All things considered Legion is probably the worst killer now, so i'm not surprised his stun doesn't benefit him more over say wraiths uncloak. Because at least wraith gets a speed boost which makes those 3 seconds mean nothing, Legion gets nothing... Just a handicapped power I guess and some borderline worthless add-ons.

It's so nice that so many killers consider the survivor's game experience.
SWFs could learn from this when they all run Adrenaline, DS and MoM and bring in instaheals.
If every game was killer sided then wouldn't anyone be bored of that? Not the toxic players of course but people that actually play the game for fun do.
