I could waste 50m bloodpoints on prestiging every survivor, or I could spent 50m bloodpoints on my main.
Its personal preference, maybe you want to try out other Survivors or not.
I don't know, its all opinion based when it comes to this stuff.
-
Its a personal goal to put towards the grind, for me I work on Killers because they're all unique in their own way.
I see what you mean though, Survivors are only unique when it comes to them being different people and NOT with their ability's since their unique perks can be given to any Survivor.

Actually with dedicated servers they will be able to discern the difference (to an extent) between internet issue DC and intentional. I say to an extent because this can also get abused somewhat easily, but will help provide a "buffer" should they implement punishments based on X amount of DCs.
I thought it also helped with connection issues?
-
@se05239 I hope this game gets better tbh, I don't want it to die because of these issues.
-
@mistar_z If Badham gets reworked than ALL the maps need to be reworked, I don't think they'll give one map special treatment because of the Killer being reworked.
-
I think its clear and safe to say that the majority of the community is a killer community.
What?
-
Is that Rey mysterio @NeaJovovich
-
Like decreasing movement speed while carrying a survivor or making the struggle effects even more prominent
You should make a more thorough analysis on this idea.
(By that I mean elaborate some more, or build upon this idea.)
-
Today i have played a total of 11 games and every single one of them, survivors dc because they are losing or im outplaying them, not because im camping or tunneling (im not) just because im better then them.
@Karltastisk For someone like me who has bad connection and low internet speeds because of where I live, I only really care for the connections being fixed from this.
As people like me have this issue but want a fair and fun match. Sometimes however, because of this connection lag can cause issues but not all the time.
-
@pushkina Lets not go down that road now...
He was just wondering is all.
-
Here I am waiting 30 minutes to get in a lobby, just to get chased by the pig, and have 2 dwights teabagging me the entire game while I was down.
@DieselWeasel Sounds like a whole new level of toxicity.
Hope they get what they deserve.
-
@KillermainBTWm8 Not exactly what I mean but its getting there.
-
@KillermainBTWm8 You can save that image and have it show up in your post you know.
-
@Karltastisk Yeah I did a small bit of digging and found this old post talking about it.
Its only bannable if used to grief someones game. Meaning to hold the game hostage, or to assist the killer to kill a certain survivor, or to ruin other survivors experience by blocking them in chases, etc, etc.
Bit unsure of this and I do not want to break the rules. -
So i looked trough the report system ingame and saw that under the griefing category, bodyblocking has been listed as a reportable action, but this as i have understood is in fact not a bannable offence.
I've never seen anyone get banned for it except in the case of holding the game hostage.
I think it also refers to when Survivors do it to each other as well. If its a reportable thing though I'd assume it is.

OP isn't saying that this is urgent, just that it needs to be done. QoL.
Hopefully it is added to the list then.

I'd prefer if they had Ghost Face rather than not having him at all.
Sure its not a finished Chapter without Sydney but in my eyes we still have Ghost Face who is basically the star of the show.

Because 80% of the time you're probably working on a generator by the time someone comes to you with leader of viceversa. You never know someone has it until you do those specific action which honestly doesn't make that much sense.
Let's take for example that I just unhooked someone and I've got to heal him, there's a guy slightly far away from me and, since I don't know he/she has leader and benefiting from the healing boost I heal the guy just under the hook, losing precious seconds.
Or another: We are 3 people on the last gen and complete it. Since I don't know that one of my teammates has leader I follow the other guy by mistake, not benefiting from the buff to open a gate faster.
I honestly don't see why you guys wouldn't have this type of change lol.
I'm not against the change, i'm just not agreeing that its that urgent of one.
To me personally it doesn't make a difference if its a AOE type perk or if it activates from specific actions but hey that's just me. I think this because the meters to activate it in the first place are only 8, so its not really that big of a activation ring to begin with.
-
Now for me this is very common. Always one person DCs and after, everyone goes friendly mode, like this needs to be addressed.
Its been a long running issue, but I feel its becoming more of an issue now that newer players are starting to play DBD.
-
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/439/SCK8XPXNJGLQ.png It’s like a GhostFace but the face isn’t a mask. And her arms and legs are just spikes.
Why would The Hag look like a "faster" from Cry of Fear?
-
@Atrushan88 said:
Except her RBTs require generators to be activated. I mean yeah, sure maybe her RBTs exploded if you went out the door and they weren't activated before, but does that really make sense? The game doesn't start until the RBT is activated. People who put RBTs on people's heads after all generators were done were simply playing her wrong originally.
Also not trusting a dev's INTERNAL SYSTEM INFORMATION is just silly.
Regardless of if people activated the RBTs or not, they still try to remove it and give it a inflated sense of urgency which just benefits the Killer by wasting their time on removing it instead of doing gens.
The RBTs do more than just kill Survivors you know...

This isn't good enough reason not to notify people when they're in the aura. People would be more inclined to cleanse totems or search chests with the speed bonus from leader! How many times you're in a match, do anything that's not repairing and be like "Oh damn this guy has leader!".
By your logic, the notification of "Streetwise" should only kick in with using an item since it affects them exclusively.
Like @Aari_Piggy66 said above the perk only activates when you're doing a specific action that goes with said perk. I don't see how its "not good enough" for a perk that only works within 8 meters.
(But I wouldn't mind seeing it implemented if they decide to change it.)

74.55% kill rate at rank 1 in the past week or so alone. That's an average of three kills per game, basically.
@Peanits It's like that because Pig has amazing stalling with her Bear Traps. I don't think people realize this, but if you make a build built around that you can have enough time to get a 4K since Survivors see that Bear Trap and instantly think its an urgent matter to remove it.
I think she's fine as she is at the moment but some may disagree.

I accept the apology and it's alright.
Glad to hear it.
-
@CallMeSpidey If you lock individual Meta perks to their specific Survivors isn't that kind of redundant since you can still combine specific perks with those Survivors to still create a meta build?
Like if people want to use MoM they'll just use Ash and give him specific perks that would be useful for him. Depending on how restrictive this is, you could still use DH, BL, etc to make a meta build regardless if their locked to specific Survivors.
I guess this would make more specific Survivors to be used for their unique perks instead of just using say Claudette every match.

You literally came in here to complain about the "bumps" on my post...i mean common..really? That's quite petty and is why it would be annoying to most anyone.
"if I actually cared I would of reported the post"
You called attention to a forum moderator to come look at my post by @ ing him..that''s basically reporting my discussion and your being coy about that.
"And before you say "but why did you put peanits in your post" because I just want his thoughts on it, I wasn't trying to get you warned for it."
To say this is being disingenuous. You quoted the forums guidelines so you knew very clearly what is and isn't against Terms of Service, so to say you "just wanted his thoughts on it" is a complete cop out. You know exactly what you were doing. There was no "thoughts" to give. It's quite black and white.
Alright, you caught me. Yes, I @ 'ed him because I didn't agree with the bumping and it was a bit childish of me I apologize.
But I stand firm on what I said before, I didn't want you warned for it "like a warning on your profile" I just wanted you to be aware of this and if it was addressed to be "verbally warned" for it. Which is why I did that instead of reporting you for it, which if they took it seriously WOULD of gotten you warned.
I can agree it wasn't the right way to go about it and i'm sorry for that. Perhaps I worded it that way to not induce a fight out it, I don't expect you to accept my apology but it's there for you to consider.
To make it clear, I have nothing against you @Blueberry I just didn't agree with the bump posts that you were making on a post that kept being ignored. Hell, mine has finished its cycle of comments on it and I will leave it finished. I do hope we can be civil about this and move on as it wasn't my intention to personally attack you.
-
When Enduring is changed to only affect pallet stuns and reduce the time by 50%, I hope you won't also forget to dial down the stuns that were increased because of it in the same patch.
So if I read that correctly, you're not so worried about the Enduring nerf but you're worried about the stun times being increased because of it?
If that's the case then yeah, that's a good reason to be skeptical @Orion

If my discussion is following community guidelines why are you still here?
Cause its a public post and I can comment on it as I please?
Why're you getting mad about it, if I actually cared I would of reported the post for going against the Community Guidelines... But I didn't.
And before you say "but why did you put peanits in your post" because I just want his thoughts on it, I wasn't trying to get you warned for it.
You can relax.

Ah my mistake bumping is after all. In light of that all "bump" posts were removed and no further "bumps" will be made.
Now my discussion is entirely in line with community guidelines per this post.
You can kindly move on now.
Ok...?
-
Yea, @Blueberry it isn't allowed as stated on the Community Guidelines.
- Do not spam (pictures/gifs/videos too) or bump discussions. Same can be said about trolling, baiting and provocation.
@Peanits your thoughts?
-
Do you think always accessible and always updated statistics would lead to a more toxic behaviour in the forums?
You never know when it comes to this community.
I'd say no I guess? But if you had kill rates, and or death rates shown to the public i'm sure it would promote toxic behavior among "elitists" since people love raving their scores if they're accessible.
To be honest I don't think those are even accounted for on BHVR's part.

We a collective amount of players that indulge in playing a specific game known as "Dead By Daylight" humbly and politely do ask a certain individual known by the alias @Peanits to beseech the act of indulging in the arts of "dad jokes" on this particular web page known as a "forum." As this collective few this act reminds us of when our parental figure known as a "father" continuously indulged in said Haynes and grotesque form of which are known as "jokes" repeatedly and continuously. @makayla Its not, I had this happen before where both the last survivor and me clicked on the hatch and I as the killer took priority over him.
I don't really consider that to be fair since for the Survivor if you find the hatch and click on it you should escape, but since this doesn't happen you have situations where when I closed the hatch I staggered that Survivor for the whole animation of closing it and it was just GG.
Maybe they should address this, since if you get staggered as a Survivor while the hatch is being closed then i'm pretty sure that was a design choice. If it wasn't a design choice you would just phase right through the hatch regardless if it was closed when you clicked on it.
-
Rank means nothing in this game @hashnine depending on your "skill" you could get purple or red rank players that play like actual potatoes with legs.
Most of red rank has pretty bad players, they just know not to fall for horrible tactics that rank 20's do. But most of them kind of play like rank 20's sometimes.
The rank system is pretty bad in terms of displaying who's "skilled" and who's not. So you tend to get pretty bad players that're high up there mainly because its not hard to get one pip from survivor every match, you just do some basic things like rescue hooked people, do some generators, etc.
In your case I have no idea how you play, so I can't determine if that was a hard match for you or not. But trust me, what you experienced is just a normal thing that happens occasionally. I think it has something to do with how the matchmaking for this game works, and it picks people of any rank if that Survivor has been waiting too long for a lobby.
I don't know the full details but these are my two cents.

Crypris Mori's are literally the most worthless offering I can think of, I think even the offerings that bring survivors closer together for Killers is more worth using than a Cypris Mori.
