That’s Barbara, mentioned above!
Just Google it. It is barb. It's been like years since I watched. I knew it started with a B :p

Do you mean Robin? There is no Beth. 😆
Wasn't Beth the friend who died in season 1? She was the 3rd wheel at a party, she went outside on the pool diving board to sulk and demopupper grabbed her.
-
Personally I think Billy and Beth would have been better choices but bhvr wanted to sell us the scopes ahoy steve outfit.

oroboros-wesker would be kinda funny though. make chris punch some rocks around the map and somehow defeat him that way.
The reason we don't have a wall crawler killer is open maps like sheltered woods or rotten fields would hard counter them. Plus it might be broken at jungle gyms. "OH your looping a pallet. I'll climb over the wall"

Ive worked in some bullshit jobs in the past. While nothing like a game developer but supervisors, managers and ceo's all share the same skill tree. When management says "We'll look into it" that's code for
-
- 1: Box does not highlight for the killer unless you bring a specific add on. That add on is useless because it lets you see the box but picking it up does not activate a chain hunt. It gives you undetectable instead.
- The box emits the sound of electricity when nearby but it's easily mistaken for something else.
- The chains can be used to bind before or after. It depends on the loop. If you can chain them before and get a hit, great. If you chain them after you might be able to run around before they break. Best to never use the chains from far away. Missing is very punishing and they slow down doesn't last very long. They are best at loops wwhere the slow down can give you a hit. Best to land the portal right on top of the survivor and fire away. The less time they have to react the less likely they will 360 juke the chain.
- The chain hunt constantly spawns chains to interrupt whatever survivors are doing. It is very annoying and is amazing pressure. Good survivors will never allow a chain hunt to occur. The good thing about it is even if they prevent a chain hunt, that does take one person off a gen to complete the box.
- As i mentioned previous, spawning the portal right on top of them is best.
- Hoarder is still good on pinhead but the experienced pin heads learned to make due without it. Hoarder+franklins is great for starting out on pin head but over time you might drop one or both perks. Franklins goes away when you realize you dont want to make them drop the box. You want to down them so you pick up the box automatically and you get to hook them. Franklins forces you to let them escape so you can grab the box. Hoarder is great for knowing where someone is when they pick up the box. I still use it but others have learned to live without it. I have seen pin head players use lethal pursuer to get a heads up where everyone is at the start. The box can only spawn about 40 meters from pin head and 10 meters from every survivor. By seeing where everyone is you can guesstimate which part of the map is the box but you shouldnt waste time looking for it. If you hear it while patrolling, great. BBQ is also a good perk. Once you hook someone and you see somebody making a beeline to a location, that could be a survivor going for the box and you can try to intercept them.
-
I was in a swf and one night discord was down. It obviously made a difference but it was still hilarious playing the game the way it was intended. I was running a meme build of head on+q&q. Even without headsets we managed to run the killer past the locker I was in for a stun lol
-
I have a feeling these alterations will change nothing. When survivors are waiting long enough, fairness is sacrificed for speed. No matter the system it can't work if there aren't enough killers to go around.
-
I'm a bit in-between. I'm too dedicated to be a casual. If I get into a game I'll do my research. I'll look up builds, guides or tips on how to improve. Once I hit a road block I'm usually motivated to git gud. When facing difficulty the first question I ask is "what can I do?". That pushes me out of the casual group.
However, there comes a point where I feel there is nothing I can do and I start to see the flaws in the design. Once I hit a point where I feel I have to play a certain way, bring certain builds, use specific characters, then I start to question why am I playing? If I have to use "the meta" then there is a problem with the game, not me. If I can't succeed playing what I enjoy then, to me, that means I've reached the end of the road. I've had my fun but now it's time to play something else.
If there's a term for me it's probably hard-core casual. Dedicated enough to be good but not enough to be top tier.
-
My favorite survivors are the ones that try to pallet loop nurse. It just makes me ask "you know that doesn't work on this killer right?"
-
If Jason is going to be another weak m1 killer whose power is a rehash of someone we already have. I'd rather not have him in here.
-
The current ratio of survivors to killers is staggering. The survivor community needs to take several hits to try to sort this mess bhvr created with their balance team.
-
Don't forget the trapper cannot use his traps :p

Yeah I know lol, DBD is lucky theres no class based system or I can assure you it would be alot worse.
It's like overwatch (haven't played in years) but everyone always rushed DPS yet they was no good at it and him here playing the medic with all gold medals 😂
Good times lmao
I still hop on overwatch once in awhile. It's changed a bit. Don't know how long ago you played but now there's a forced 2/2/2. You have to que up as either a tank, a support or an offense. Can you guess which one has to wait the longest :p
And in overwatch 2 they are reducing the number of players from 6v6 to 5v5. 1 tank, 2 healer, 2 dps. It just sounds lazy. Instead of trying to make the job more fun to get more people to play, they're lowering the amount needed for a match. You'd think the creators of WoW would have handled this better. I guess they got their hands full with harassment law suits lol
-
I would add a mechanic that everytime survivors teabag, the entity impaled them with a spike.
-
I personally like combining it with star struck. A lot of players suddenly consider you a threat when they are healthy, exposed and unable to use dead hard.
-
I'll delete nemesis right after you reimburse me for buying him.

Evolve was a pretty fun game, often got a trapper or medic trying to DPS though lol
Yeah that was the bad thing about evolve. If there was 1 weak link the chain broke. Which is why I laugh at all the survivor threads who claim 1 bad survivor ruins the match. It sucks but it's not nearly as over as 1 terrible medic in evolve or a support that's not supporting /coughcabotcough
-
The only game I played that was similar to dbd was evolve. Besides that I play a lot of games. FF14, xcom2:wotc, Phoenix point, warhammer 3, halo, evil genius 2, gears of war 5, civ, ark, vermintide 2, town of Salem, phasmophobia, among us.
-
I personally prefer blood warden as my revenge perk. I hope they do something about 99ing the exit gates soon. There was talk about hemorrhage or something on the ptb that would do that.

Ya know the bad survivors who have their hand held through every part of the game? And just cry for nerfs whenever a killer takes skill to verse?
Welp artist it was fun playing you but I'm not gonna put days worth of playtime into another killer that's gonna get gutted in a few months time. I learned my lesson from slinger.
Legion it is. Time to stock up on Julies mixtapes to jam out every match. Free-entry raves located in house of pain featuring franks and julies mixtapes when the patch drops :)
Just once I would like bhvr to tell their player basis to stop whining and git gud :P

Couldn't the same be said for both sides? Honestly killer and survivor mains both cry and complain and keep getting each side nerfed and it's getting ridiculous I play both so I've noticed it on both sides getting stupid at this point
Both sides complain but killer issues usually require significantly more complaints to get addressed because they are the minority.

Every killer should have counterplay because this is a video game and video games should be fun, fair, and balanced.
Everything survivors have and/or can do should also have counterplay, because this is a video game and video games should be fun, fair, and balanced.
X being too strong means X should be nerfed, not Y brought up to X's level. Y can still be buffed, just not to the extent of X.

I agree completely. Though it baffles me that people think solo survivor should be on par with SWF's strength. Just wrong. Solo could use a buff because randoms are terrible but it should not be brought up to swf lvl. Solo needs to go up and swf needs to be brought down.
-
As many have stated, grades mean nothing when it comes to MMR. However, MMR also means nothing when survivors are waiting long enough. If a swf is in que for a long time the game will throw the first unfortunate soul their way just so they have a match. Fairness be damned.
-
I totally, 100% agree. I play killer and the survivors I'm up against make zero mistakes. I play survivor and my teammates are complete idiots who can't loop or hit regular skill checks.
-
They can't introduce strong perks that shake up the meta because the meta is broken. Also releasing a perk and then toning it down months later is not alright. That's how we got into the mess with CoH and old MoM.

I personally don't think it's that good. It gets countered pretty easily, just don't let go off Generators, and like every other Generator blocking Perk, it doesn't regress Generators, so it barely slows down the game
I find it to be pretty good on artist or killers with mobility

But they still have heads. Horsemen doesn't because he is a headless horsemen. A dead one. Headless :p
-
There was a thread earlier today that complained about traps on the artist map being so easy to spot because it's all sand. Maps need an overhaul in general but some are god awful for trapper. The game, lerys, rpd, midwich. Any map that doesn't have a lot of grass your traps stick out like a sore thumb.
Theres also the elephant in the room, comms. Swf is twice as deadly to trapper because if 1 person sees a trap then they all know where it is. Sadly I can't think of a way to fix this.

Kinda liked the edgier forums from a few years ago, btw, when people were in general discussion exposing the hidden agendas.
...much more color then, from today’s complaint boards.
Where’d they all go anyway, those banned voices of truth; defenders of our souls🤔
Sadly that's almost any form of social media these days. It used to be people would argue about topics. Now there's this breed that thinks "I'm right and anyone with a different opinion is evil". Unfortunately those people are the ones who usually own the media platform and they ban anyone who points out their bull.

Perhaps some killers should be immune to flashlights.
Headless horseman would be amazing but surely it would be too fast? I mean it would be like Oni demon dash speed at all times. Perhaps it would be difficult to attack whilst on horse back as a fair tradeoff.
The headless horseman in sleepy hollow did however spend a lot of the time on foot and was pretty accomplished at it also
Can you imagine if we got Christopher Walken as headless horsemen and Johnny Depp as a survivor? The latter would probably be too expensive but it would piss off Amber Heard lol
-
I did a daily as doctor the other day. Hardly use that killer. Got him to 40 for his teachable and that's it. I got a 3k. Someone yelled at me to play a killer that's fun? Fun for who? You? I could play my p3 nurse. Would you prefer that?

Personally I think login rewards are just to screw with the steam charts.

@indieeden7 said:
Why on earth would you ever want to play against good survivors as a killer you aren't used to?
Honestly I feel it doesn't matter what killer I pick. If survivors are waiting in que, the game will throw out my mmr and tell me to deal with it -.-
-
If we had a headless horsemen, the survivor would cry because their flashlight would be useless.
-
The reason why we can't swap killers is sound but I think it's a load of bull. Whatever killer I que as, it feels like the survivors I get are the same skill lvl.
-
.........something happens?
-
Stop lowering the bar.
-
It sounds like the problem is bad survivors, not the perk itself.
The only time I use it is sometimes in my swf. Now that sounds redundant at first. Why run bond when you can talk to everyone? Well the reason is one of us is a pretty good looper. He doesn't do it on purpose but often he leads killers on chases long enough that they give up and switch targets. Sometimes we equip bond just to see if our teammate is leading the killer in our direction and we need to get out of there lol.

It's been over a year or two since I played Overwatch and a while since I played Diablo 3. But at the time, yeah, I would consider Blizzard pretty amazing at balance. They basically took Diablo 3 and did a 360 with it, when they realized how awful it was. WoW was amazingly balanced when I played it also.
Maybe after the sexual harassment reorganization, they became really bad. Like I said, it's been a while. Diablo 3 was the last Blizzard game I was playing consistently.
I do miss old blizzard. The days before Activision infested them.

I would say your Overwatch example is not a good example, when I played it, the game was amazingly balanced. Some characters bring more to the game than just kills, so balancing based on a 50% win rate is probably exactly how that needs to be balanced. Blizzard has always been amazing with balancing.
"Blizzard has always been amazing with balance"
Are we talking about the same company? We're you playing overwatch when mercy mass rez was a must pick?
When 3 tanks, 3 supports was a thing
When 6 torbjourns is the reason there's a 1 hero pick
When Brigitte made dps as beefy as tanks
When it took forever to destroy shields
When symmetry was a support who couldn't heal
Priority passes that are so easy to obtain they serve no purpose
Or the launch of Diablo 3 when it had an auction house. Hackers learned it was more economic to steal an account, sell their gear for real money and send it to their paypal.
Haven't really played wow so can't comment.
Blizzard is not great at balance. They just have the budget to fiddle with stuff until it works.

All killers are getting slight above a 50% kill rate, because of MMR. So when you say solid chance of winning, you definitely mean consistently. It means Nurse is the only killer that is consistently breaking the 50% rule.
Not sure why the developers haven't reworked her yet, since more and more killer players are gravitating to her and Blight because they do break the 50% kill rate rule.
I haven't looked at the stats but doesn't nurse have the lowest kill rate?
-
@Tiufal said:
"I only enjoy the game if i win consistently". Classical killer mentality.
It's not about winning consistently. It's about being able to have a solid chance at winning. When I play killer I don't feel like the power role. I feel like I'm there so the survivors have someone to chase them as they blow through every God pallet, safe loop and 2nd chance perk in their arsenal. Nurse is the one killer survivors actually fear. I have a chance to enjoy the game too. That's all I ask.
-
No. I got 9 people max prestige and I haven't noticed any difference in their blood webs. I only p3 them to eliminate the option all together. I could just lvl them up without prestiging but I'm worried one day I'll change mind. All that BP I poured into them dug me a deeper grave. So I p3 the chars I like so that will never happen.

I think Pinhead is probably the 4th on the list though. Nurse>Blight>Face Camping Bubba>Pinhead.
I love playing Pinhead when I play killer. However, as survivor, Pinhead is a nightmare because of how bad he is for solo-queue. The coordination you need to beat even a mediocre Pinhead is just not achievable without SWF.
Pinhead is like old Freddy, he has an incredible amount of gen slowdown built into his kit.
I believe pinhead is strong against "bad" solo survivors. If you have 4 randoms that are skilled he isn't a nightmare to face.
When it comes to pinheads box and solos, I'm reminded of the long ago days I played modern warfare 2. There's a harrier, a pavelow, something in the air. Anyone can easily switch classes to shoot it down but they all expect someone else to do it. That's what I think about when bad solos face pinhead.
-
People have already made some good suggestions for my main, trapper. I've been playing pinhead a lot lately and it would be nice if he didn't break his chains when walking through them.
-
Billy. I'm terrible at 360 juking. If he catches me in the open it's a free down for him. I also hate the Billy's that can j flick and hit me around a corner.
