Unless its silent bell Wraith on an indoor map, its hard to get jump scared by him. You can see him coming and hear the bell when he uncloaks.
Ghostface is not fun for me, but not because of the jump scare factor, but because his reveal mechanic is broken. I don't like being one shot by a killer with a power that has broken counterplay.

I've experienced it. I did a Mikey match on Gideon last night, and at one point this Blendette vanished before me downstairs in a jungle gym.

what strategies did you use and how long did it take you? I've been working on it for 8 months now, on and off. I've played regularly, farmed and used exit gates but once I reached 131 logged downs and still hadn't earned the trophy I started using devour with iridescents. I'm at 153 and still haven't earned it :( feels real bad
I used Nurses and sloppy. It really helped. Bbq is good, too.

On Mikey I use BBQ, Corrupt, Infectious, and Pop.
For add ons I'll often use dead rabbit for that smaller terror radius in tier 2, and hair bow for the extended tier 3 duration. Really allows me to snowball with infectious.

Well that's some silly logic and can easily be applied here to yourself. Maybe the players you killed in your screenshot are just bad survivors.

As survivor I'd say a 9. I don't do any of the stupid or annoying things you see in solo queue.
As killer I mainly only play Mikey. So grading myself strictly as a Mikey player I'd say an 8 or 9, too.

Daddy Myers for the scares and intensity. Nothing more thrilling and terrifying than panning my camera around and seeing him standing there staring at me. Plus jump scare Myers is my favorite killer build to both play and face. Its so much fun.

I had fun zooming Mikey around with the serum add on. I managed to score a Dweet crow charm, plus the Jack O Lantern one looks right at home on Mikey's hook. Combined with the other pumpkin charm and the Dweet crow, Mikey's hook is looking just right for a killer who loves to murder on Halloween.

Michael Myers, my main build on him is bbq, pop, corrupt, and infectious. I've been experimenting recently and had some good results with tinkerer instead of infectious. I got the idea off Fungoose. He's done a bunch of vids recently on it with Myers.

I just looked at the poll results so far. Its not even close. Autohaven has a 61% lead. I guess people are of the mentality of five maps reworked versus just one.

Thank you for the reassurance I'm not crazy, and the supportive words. The thing is I expect a higher level of play at higher ranks, obviously. I just don't play this game to be the target of a 4- person psyop designed to break my soul.

I understand, and so does anyone who plays killer. We get your frustration. Heck we've all been there at one point I'd say. I know I have. With higher levels of play you get bigger egos and therefore more toxicity. I play both sides, but I play more survivor than killer, and I know for a fact survivors are far more toxic. Of course you can and do get toxic killers, it swings both ways, but more often than not survivors bring the toxicity first.
So many times I've seen killers play fair, lose the match, and my team mates will sit at the gate tea bagging, clicky clicking, fast vaulting the nearest pallet over and over at the killer. Its really disheartening.

Unfortunately you'll see this kind of antagonistic behavior ten fold in the high ranks. Its rampant. The only advice I could give is try and ignore it. They want to trigger you. Get you to make mistakes. The really toxic ones will want you to chase them so the others can do gens.
You need a thick skin as a red rank killer otherwise this sort of behavior will drive you nuts.

Its the busted reveal mechanic. I've seen him get so many free downs because of it. No fun facing a killer like that.

Yeah a lot of people don't know Mikey vaults slightly faster than other killers in tier 2.

I'm on PS4 and killer is a lag fest. Survivor is not so bad. But I can't touch killer till the patch comes.
