@Chaotic_Riddle Because there would be twice as many moris, flashlights, keys, instaheals etc. If devs want to reduce the grind they just need to either give us more perks in the bloodweb or get rid of the 3 tier system.

No way, I like the tier III system.

Level 50 bloodwebs should have 3 perks though I think. That should solve the crying.

    As @Peanits has said...

    Soon™

Yeah that is more annoying to me than funny or "slick". Soon... lol

Tomorrow or next Tuesday for sure. PTB started 2 weeks ago so the typical schedule would be tomorrow.

It has been 3 weeks a couple of times. Spirit/Legion ptbs were 3 weeks.

Cool. Yeah I was thinking tomorrow. While I'm excited for various changes, I really enjoy perks getting reworked or adjusted more than anything.

I like when they take perks that aren't used much and buff them. I'm hoping we'll get a couple surprise changes in the Patch and it's not just a direct paste from the last PTB build.

  • I've been saying this literally for months... and it's finally starting to catch on.

  • We had our chance.... it was nice. It's over.

Why do people whine to get things extended everytime they don't "need" to be? The entitlement is real.

I only played like 12 matches this bloodhunt, and clocked in around 900k

  • I'm devotion 4 level 41 or something.

Getting shards from 51 to 100 isn't good enough. Because we only get 300 per level. It should go up by 10 shards per level at least after that. Or more.

When you get to a new devotion level, you should get 1,000 shards man. Come on.

And we should have something to show off... to other players. Like a badge or something at least. Their should be fun, exclusive things locked behind devotion levels.

  • If the data is true and not tampered with... I think we all need to chill out about SWF stuff. It's still annoying, but even I think it is required for this game.

It's healthy for the game in the sense or friends playing with each other etc...

ANd it is an advantage, but not like we all think.

  • Survivors want you to play by their rules. Their own made up gentleman's rules.

    It's made up and BS.

I play however I want. I play to win. They've already nerfed the crap out of slugging, made hook rescues even quicker and you always have SWF that can hurt a killer.

If I'm able to hunt down the unhooked person easily... yeah I do it.

Is it tunnelling? Not really. DS counters this. If I camp, I'm not going to pip more than likely.

Survivors play the victim card and act like things are completely in the killer's favor. More made up BS. If a killer is camping hardcore, 2 or 3 of you clowns don't need to be off gens and around the hook.

Maybe 1 person, 2 others on gens. If done right... 2 or 3 gens can be traded for a survivor's death on a camping killer.

He'll safety pip or depipped, but 1 person's fun was ruined. Okay? So what? It happens to me too, but I move on.

  • Is Thanatophobia good perk to use? I use it all the time and does it really slow down game progression?

At tier III the perk is 4-16% slow down.

Meaning if 1 person is running Leader or Prove Thyself it basically kills the perk. As 2 people with Prove Thyself are getting 10% bonus. And if you had all 6 people injured you're getting a 6% slowdown.

You'll rarely get all 4 injured at the same time. It's a decent perk, but isn't worth using over sloppy butcher.

Tier III should be 5/10/15/20 at least. That is me being objective and nice. Having all 4 injured is still weaker than dying light. (if you get the obsession killed)

So logically Thana should be 25% slowdown on action speeds when all 4 are injured. So 10, 15, 20 and 25% for each injured. That would make a strong perk for killers. And slow down gen rushing a bit.

Everyone acts like buffing a perk like this would "make killers op" which is insanity. It would make more people bring med kits, or self care for sure. It would also make killers take out noed, nurses or sloppy. I mean. It's not like we'll get the perk built in.

Some people would act like a buff to this perk would make it built in as a 5th perk slot or something. That is the reaction killers would get. It's just insane.

Imagine, my proposed changes, with sloppy, nurses and ruin. Would be great.

On average you're just going to have 2 people injured at the same time anyways... so it will be a 10% debuff to action speeds. Prove Thyself counteracts that. And leader helps a lot as well.

It would take a average perk at best, and make it strong.

@Dwight_Confusion -says in my best yoda voice- pupular you are, learn from you i must :)

Nah, you're just tore up over the downvoting from even being a thing. lol

    Accept it. ;)

  • Truly make it an anti item perk that puts the hurt on survivors who rely on them, gen rush, or think it’s funny to bring a 4 person pink and purple combo.

That buff idea is a bit extreme. They did nerf it last year. Special attacks no longer make you drop the item, just basic/main attacks do lmao.

It's a good perk. It is average, but usually can't be brought in over 10-15 other perks.

A 5/10/15 would be a nice small buff. I don't see why they don't do this at all.

    @not_Queen @Peanits

  • I've got like1,2k upvotes ... so I don't really care.

I figure 1/2 of the people that downvote what I say are kiddos anyways.

Like if I say something, and it makes sense, and it objective and holds water... people that disagree with still downvote it.

And that's okay. It just shows their lack of integrity with feeling confident in their own mind.

(what did I just say? ^^^^ lmao)

  • So I'm thinking to get my Bill to p3 since it's double bp event, I usually get 120k bp per killer match with all the survivor puddings I have.

I prestige my licensed survivors, as they have no other cosmetics really. Or a main one.

I don't prestige anyone I don't care for. So like Nea, Jane, and most of the others I leave alone.

I do have a P3 Dwight and P3 David, as they are my 2 favorites. Everyone else is 50 or might have P1 on a couple.

For killers, I P3'd my LF, and got the bloody knife with Myers, but he looks extremely stupid with anything else bloody. The knife is cool, but I like him plain.

I did a couple other killers too. Like Trapper is P1 and Wraith is P2 I think? My Freddy is P2, and I might do him P3 soon. I have the perks I want, so it's hard to do.

They should have a reward at P3 prestige. It gives you like 1,000 shards or something. I don't know why they don't do this. It's silly.

Yeah the bloody skin is cool, and you get "slightly" better things in the web, but it's not really worth it to be honest. Unless you are just hitting 50 and there's perks you can't stand. Maybe it's worth it then?

  • I don't see a huge issue so far with it. Some of you like crying because it sounds good... but the reality is it doesn't happen that much. Played maybe 8 matches today.

0 issues. 0 farming idiots. Everything was fun.

  • I've been saying for well over a year... in game collectibles would help with this greatly.

  • Yes.

    Thursday @ 7pm CST

    8pm EST

  • He just needs a couple more add ons. Ultras especially. He needs one ultra rare that gives him no bumping phase. So if he hits something it's a instant recovery.

The other could be slightly increases charge time but makes his saw last slightly longer? Id on't know.

I just use him as a basement build. As it's kinda like rping.

4man SWF is insane and needs to be removed

4 man swf is just about impossible to beat. It really is.

It should be 3 man and 2 man. 4 man should be removed.

4 minds and 16 perks working against 1 mind and 4 perks. It breaks the game. Clearly.

  • The amount of times when I am solo, the killer gets 4 outted and instantly blames swf on their loss, yikes.

I've done this before, but I "knew" they were SWF. It was quite obvious. Even 2 people on mics and being at least average can be deadly.

  • Nea and Claudette seems pretty annoying.

And I guess Lauries as well. Or Fengs

Outside of those 4 I don't see any big difference.

I personally enjoy throwing a game over a Claudette or brightly colored character. Just to get hate messages afterwards. IT's a delight.

  • Had a Claudette playing with me. I was solo. Myers T3'd her, and she quit instantly.

I guess her having annoying clothes and a flashlight had nothing to do with why she quit?

I guess her internet went out at that moment?

    Yea...

  • When you smack a survivor once and they just DC, Right then, right there. Ngl makes me laugh every time lmao

Not gonna lie isn't that hard to spell out kiddo...

  • Millennials are buying the stuff apparently... so the price point will stick.

I'm not ever ever ever going to pay 10 bucks for a cosmetic. No way in hell. They should have 1/2 off sales every so often... OR... have Shard events at least, or rework the poorly designed Devotion/player level stuff over.

Getting 300 shards per level is great. Not from 51 to 100 though. That's just poor design and lazy.

  • I totally agree on the front that this game has lots of variables and tweaks... yet they don't change much.

Why not do a PTB with different movement speeds? Trapper is clearly a weaker killer. Why not buff his movement speed to like 117.5%? Why not try it in a short 3 day PTB? I mean why not?

I think the Wraith really balanced. I destroy people with him. And use yellow add ons too.

  • @Mushwin said:

@Dwight_Confusion people can disagree with you, due to words...coments....as adults a back and forth to see others sides....but it's not needed....

Yeah I see your point, but the idea is that if someone doesn't agree with someone they can just click a downvote and might not respond with crazy illogical stuff.

Like half these posts in this forum.

Objectivity and common sense are mostly gone. From society as a whole.

  • This would be cool, but then everyone would know "which hex is it?" where is the hex?

I would rather be in favor of a buff to Thrill of the Hunt. That would be better.

  • It should be separated from console and pC. That's fine.

I wouldn't want to embarass any elitist on PC anyways... ;)

I would be cool with a Xbox/PS4 crossplay. That makes sense. If not, that's okay too.

  • I like it being there and it was gone forever.

It's a way for people to disagree with you without commenting, which could be good in the fact they aren't posting, but bad as in some people will just blinding down vote stuff because they are stupid.

And there's a lot of stupid in this community sadly.

  • Yeah I agree. A club or clan setup would be bad. It would create a you vs me vibe even more than it already is.

You'd be very surprised at how many people don't play both sides. It's insane.

  • Keep it as it is time wise, but after breaking 3 pallets in a row without any attacks you get the next pallet to break on the survivor when they drop it?

So when they drop it, it just explodes? That would be cool. If would force you to not break pallets for 3 pallets in a row though.

Be good to bait them down, then break 3? It's something I guess.

  • Honestly? A 5th slot for killers would really help balance the game. And it would help SWF stuff out too. The 5th slot would HAVE to be a perk from that killer's set though.

So you'd have to use one of that killer's perks for it. Which limits it slightly.

    Survivors don't need a 5th perk slot.

  • @Peanits said:

Out of curiosity, how would it affect skill checks? Would it make them more frequent, or less frequent? If they're more frequent, this might be a bad thing for newer players or for times when the Killer is running Ruin or Huntress Lullaby. If they're less frequent, this might be bad for players who can consistently hit great skill checks or with perks like Autodidact. Making skill checks larger is already an existing effect separate from luck.

I'd be curious to know what else you think it could do. I'll move this to balance feedback for visibility.

I think luck offerings should affect skill check triggers slightly. Right now I think it's 1/9 chance every second for a skill check.

So if the killer plays certain ones, it would increase many things, including skill checks. He would need a couple versions in the web. LIke one would make them 1/8 and another would make it 1/7 chance. Each second of course.

The survivor luck offerings would affect other things, but since we're talking skill checks only, it would just help it. Get rid of the brown and yellow ones. Keep the green and purple. They would help them to 1/10 and 1/11 chances each. Just a slight thing.

This is just a rough idea. McLean stated luck was something they wanted to add in more. This would be a cool start. Luck offerings wouldn't affect hex ruin. And it wouldn't affect any hexes like Huntress' Lullaby. Just normal skill checks.

And I'm talking just generator skill checks. Unnerving Presence wouldn't stack with this, as it would override this.

  • The Scream DLC would be great for the game. No one wants Hellraiser. That franchise might be cheaper to acquire in rights, but it's dead in the water and has been for 20+ years.

Scream had a movie like 7 years ago. While it was average, it was still something.

I did think that Legion was their version of scream, just how Hillbilly is somewhat their version of LF... before they got that license.

A Ghostface DLC would be really interesting. A power where their auras blink like phones or something with the earned right would be cool.

He's have to be a 110% killer with the ability to travel in 120% spurts or something. It could be awesome if done right.

  • MoM is fine the way it is.

    I play mostly killer too.

  • Pinhead is and was lame. That franchise wasn't even very successful.

    Ghostface easily...

  • @Orion said:

    • Unrelenting was worthless

It still is really. It is was 30/40/50% that would make it worth taking in.

  • Oh yes, I forgot, actually making the player level and devotion matter.

    300 shards from 51-100 isn't good enough.

Getting a new devotion level should have neat things locked behind them. I'm devotion 4, level 30 something. Cool huh?

What does that mean? No one can see it.... I get nothing besides shards from it... and at 50 they cap at 300 all the way up to the next devotion level. Sucks.

  • The idea would be interesting... but I don't know. Maybe if they fixed other core issues like ranked rewards, collectibles, balancing, giving the power role consistent power...

    That would be great. Stats...

  • Would not be into a Hellraiser DLC. He's a poor man in the horror genre.

  • Yeah it was kind of a spoof in a way.

  • For all the kiddos saying Scream is overrated... they must be young millennials.

Scream is/was responsible for bring back the slasher genre/thriller horror movie. The genre really started to stagnate badly around Jason Goes to Hell or so in 1993. And it had been in decline before that for years. It started to fizzle out in populatrity and mass appeal in the late 80s. Around 1988 or so.

Scream was a good franchise, while dull at times, and not great, it was good. And the 1st movie was fantastic.

Scream isn't overrated. It's rated just fine. The Ghostface killer would be a cool addition, but his power is basically what the Legion's power is now. Quick stabs... as it is spoofed in movie off of a "Stab" movie.

The phone calling thing could work, and while I'd love to get Prescott in the film, I think it would be really cool to get Drew Barrymore's character instead.

  • Bitter Murmur should hit when the hatch is closed OR when the 5th gen is done.

It would be very stupid if not.

Sure... killer gets to see last survivor for 10 seconds if he finds the hatch 1st...

If he finds the hatch 1st... IF

And he's using 1 perk slot for this, as this perk isn't that helpful otherwise.

So It think shutting the hatch should proc the perk for sure.

  • Some of the offerings are silly.

Why would I play thicker mist as killer? There's no need for that.

Or why would I play 1 of my 40 brown BP offerings at 50%, when I've got a ton of yellow ones at 75%?

  • I'm okay with the RBT not activating until a gen is done. That's how it is now. With the EGC, it makes it difficult.

They are taking away the terror radius BS, thankfully.

Her Ultra Rare add on needs to give her 2 traps instead of 1.

  • Thank you very much. Are you on PS4? You seem like a nice person. I've seen your posts around and you seem informed and pleasant.

  • If anything the basement needs buffed. It should look more scary, have some more things down there... and be a tad bit larger.

It should also exhaust you going in there with a "panic" status or something. Which basically makes things very dark for the survivor.

It is a place that is in the killer's advantage, but it should be extremely annoying to go to or be hooked in.

This would buff agitation and iron grasp indirectly, and it would create a more intense feeling to the basement. Right now it's kinda dull.

The basement should always have a chest containing green item at 60% chance, purple item at 30% chance and a pink at a 10%

I know the keys would be more often down there, but I'd be fine with that if the basement got buffed.

@Dwight_Confusion I don't know if they made it 5 seconds per stack, or made it 5 stacks, but it maxes at 20 seconds now.

    Where did you hear this?

I'd be okay with this honestly.

    Before it was 20 + 30 max.

20 + 20 max seems fair and okay with me.

  • They moved the timer back to 20 seconds. Thank God, and they've also made it a 2 minute EGC with 3 being the max with the slowdown. This helps a lot.

So the hit on Remember is hard, but not severe. They still need to throw it a bone.

  • There's not much of outrage. I play 2/3 killer and I'm okay with it.

It's got some trade offs. I think some people just like crying about things. I mean yeah it's annoying sure, but it requires 3 hits of normal attack, and then, once you heal you are shown to the killer.

I think it's okay. I've not encountered a whole party using it of course which would be annoying, but I've had 2 people use in in the same match.

1 … 3 4 5 6 7 … 28
