Even after having been around for so long now, I feel absolutely frustrated playing Pinhead despite how cool of a killer character he is in Dead by Daylight. My problem with him is his chains that break almost instantly after having caught someone in them. It takes skill to land these hooks, yet the survivors can break from them so easily, especially if in a corner. Why is that?
Am I playing him wrong, I feel like many times it's a better tactic to ignore Pinhead's power and just chase the normal way unless there's a small pallet loop.
I think he needs a serious rework or buff.
Twins and Knight be like 👍

I'd rather stick to the topic of the thread and remain in the context to which i replied to. Whataboutism will only lead to arguments but no conclusions.
I'm just saying they play it safe with killer perks also

So you have to play match normaly and collect orbs.
Then you have to open a portal, go inside this portal and bring the energy to the "ghost" to get some buffs...
And then you need to exit a portal, then you have (probably wont even happen) find this ghost on a real map to get the same buffs for like 15-20 seconds? Or get survivors run over those ghosts to get them some debuffs.
While you doing ALL THIS, survivors just doing gens and getting out.
I'm so sorry, but event sounds like a huge chunk of a wasting time on not very benefit buffs, that probably not even going put any effect on your gameplay.
Also use it to tp between locations it's impossible to escape if you catch a surivor in there during to the animation to leave being longer than the wipe

The new Blighted Cosmetics for the Onryo, Yoichi Asakawa, and the Xenomorph will be available in the in-game store on October 24th!
In the regards to the in-game event currency, go to the Event Tab, and there you will find the shop for event currency items (took a screenshot in my game really quick as an example):
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/4S6DAPBL9LNZ/20231018154616-1.jpg
The Nea and Knight cosmetics can be earned through completing the event Tome; same as event cosmetics were in previous events <3
Thank you I've been looking forever

I am sorry to break it to you but if you expected skins for free on Onryo or Xeno (or any licensed killer), then you are very mistaken, licensed skins and characters always costs only money.
For the skins you can buy for event currecy, just head up to the info box button about the event, there is page dedicated to them.
Fair enough I kinda expected that
-
So where do you use this new currency nine of the outfits van be bought with it and there's no onryero and ailen blighted skin?
-
Useless would be clown and hag
Best would be nurse and doctor
Insane would be blight and Billy
scary would be ghost face and wraith
Annoying would be onryero and pin head
Bad would be pyrmidhead and deathslinger

Double the map size , two killers , 8 survivors and 14 gens (10 to complete).
As stated in the title which killer duos would be something you would not wish to face and on which map most ?
Which two would have the worst synergy ?
Which two would make the game very funny ?
Post your opinions below.
Trapper and Hag on MacMillan would be a minefield :P , two blights on Midwich would be the train hallways .
Nurse and doctor would be scary can't hide can't run

Slinger would be affected by literally any exhaustion perk, and pretty much any competent survivor in general. Freddy's snares apply a 15% hindered effect to survivors in the dream state, and injuring a survivor puts them in the dream state. T3 Myers ignores MFT since, you know, Exposed insta-downs.
Dredge isn't really affected by MFT due to his built-in anti-loop, and Nightfall significantly reducing survivors vision. Unless a person running MFT knows every nook and cranny of the map, Dredge has the advantage during Nightfall. Dredge also has the iridescent plank add-on.
I've already addressed Pig and Doctor. As I said, the list of killers adversely affected by MFT is actually quite short. The vast majority of the roster is largely unaffected by MFT.
Dredge Is affected by mft
if they run windows
Of pays attention before night fall
And mft makes holding w stronger now

It's not a 20% speed boost. That's factually wrong. Haste is a speed boost. Survivors are gaining 20% more distance with MFT than without, which is not equal to a 20% speed boost.
I've got around 1400 hours on dbd, and I agree with Otz's assessment that the perk is strong and does too much, but the haste by itself is fine.
Maybe instead of assuming the amount of hours a player has, you should focus on getting better as killer?
20% more distance is still insane that's a 20% margin of error that surivors can make and still get to a pallet

While those two situations looked really bad (btw why has this Demo Dead Hard?), I couldnt stop myself from laughing a bit when you mentioned latency. Because usually the Survivor is ######### over by high Ping Killers, since the Hit Registration is so lenient because BHVR cannot provide Servers to e.g. Russia or other regions.
So kinda funny to see Killers getting some of their own medicine.
A taste of our own medicine this "fix" added window vacuume
Wich is just as bad as pallet vacuume in 2018

I mean the math checks out average is 1 Condemned kill a game 32 games 40 Condemned kills
That means there were 3 or 4 games were you got great Condemned kills
Or there was 8 games where you got 2 Condemned kills

I disagree. I think the perk without endurance and haste stacking is healthy for the game. It's an alternative to exhaustion perks. Friendly reminder that Overcome exists.
What M1 killers are you referring to that are so weak that this perk significantly impacts them?
Again in ots post you can know when they have it and decide if you want to chase them still

This one of my most successful posts and I am loving reading this ideas, should I make publications for specific addon themes?
Here's one for trapper remote controller
Traps have a little crank on them that makes them a little bit more bulky or visible
Every 30s trapper can highlight a disabled trap and use remote control to reset it
Resetting takes 3s before it can catch someone
One for twins surivors detected by victor when idle and has los on them he will attempt to pounce on them
-
@Livion said:
Here's a Nurse one:
Iridescent hospital clothing:
-If you face through a survivor while blinking they lose 1 health state and your fatigue is cancelled (blinks reduced to 1).
A bit unbalanced?, Maybe but I think it would make the Nurse a lot of fun
No it's not unbalanced it basically nurse allready but now you can injured mutliple people at once

Rights of judgment last 20s longer
You can straif in trail of tourment

Being in a trail for 8s will expose you for 5s after leaving
The special: attack instead of unleashing a wave of shrapnel it is replaced with out lash any rites in the trial explode in a small radius doing dammage on hit and Inflict tormented status

Myers fragient tuft of hair rework
T3 lasts forever
T3 hits recover 25% faster
Breaking vaulting stun recovery and picking up are 20% faster
Increase lunge duration by 15%
Landing a hit grants undetectable for 20s
Can no longer gain blood lust but on a hit gain 3%haste for 5s
T3 hits no longer insta down

Where have you heard BHVR leases IP's? Stranger Things was a unique scenario, but at least the content, aside from the map, remains in the game. I'm fairly certain when they make these contracts with IP's it's listed specifically that the content created is a permanent addition to the game but if there's a copy of one of these contracts online i'd be interested in reading it.
They tried to keep the ip Netflix was the one who didn't pick up the phone

Just remove overheat, that's it imo. I don't even play Billy but I want him to be fun again so I can stop playing against Blight, Nurse, and Spirit every game.
Honestly over heat isint that much of an issue
-
@Livion said:
Since they gutted Billy's addons I heard a lot of people say that he fells really horrible to play as, I tried him out and it wasn't that bad!, I got some cross maps with the chainsaw and traversing the map was a blast. The addons are very limited and usually they are more of a downgrade
(The iris don't have downgrades but hey are very substantial) I wish they fixed the addon problem but other than that I didn't find the overheat that big of a problem
It used to be a big problem but they mostly made it irrelevant by heat building fast during sprint cooling on release of power. Slower build up of heat while reving

I am asking your thoughts on this mechanic.
To me, tunnelling is very unhealthy and outdated mechanic. Killer player is just destroying fun for survivor player and not letting them to play game. Ofcourse blame is not going to killer player, it's mechanic in the game. BHVR takes all blame and shame here for not addressing this issue.
I am not saying destroy killer gameplay and make win imposible for them. No. Tunnelling and camping should be less viable but killers should be rewarded by when they go for hooks. Reward killer player for getting hooks from different survivors. Reward killer for chasing well. But tunnelling and camping should not be rewarded because they are very unskilled strategies.
Depends on the situation
Had a game where 3 gens popped in like 3 min I was playing deathslinger so I waited a few sec and speared her re hook if 3 gen can pop a min then people should be able to die in a min
But there's times where this isint needed

Ok fair, I can't disagree with shadowborn part. Your right but billys sound is global so harder to pinpoint, whereas blight has very loud bumps. So the drop on people only comes from stealth or max range rushes.
And the speed part is mobility he goes is basically straight lines how many maps have straight lines for 5 8s for you to get across the map with its lack of mobility the issue not the speed of the killer
Most of the time I play him it's, OK spend 8 years reving for dash for 2s for there to be a bush I can't turn around and have to repeat the process

Dead Dawg Saloon could have it so every so and so minutes, a bottle can be picked up from the bar for a mini Diversion of 5-10ish meters
Perfect like iron works would have the upper control room have like a big Gas exuast that if you hit the killer with could hinder and it lingers so looping that area is bad for a bit meaning stealth killers could set that up as an Ambush that hides them and hinders thw surivor

How close can they be to objectives like doors, hooks, and gens?
If they can be placed on them, (big if from me beck don’t know) how it that any different from Skullys drones
If they can’t, how do they interact with certain animations or situations. EXP: carrying a survivor, breaking pallets, or closing hatch. Because if you animation lock the killer like that you need to be clear on how it works. I don’t want to be abused just for carrying a survivor.

The game had a flame thrower and it was the only way to combat without a molotov

I don't think you realize how scary it is for many people seeing topics like this. Freddy was completely reworked and that was painful enough for countless people, but to completely remove a killer? And for what reasoning? I'm not trying to be inflammatory or passive-aggressive, I just legitimately don't understand the reasoning behind this request. If "no one" plays as them, why is removing the Twins even necessary? Even if they do have as low of a pick rate as the example you gave, you'd be erasing a killer they love for no other reason beyond other people not playing as that killer.
What if we removed the top-picked killers in this game? Would that be unjustifiable because, "Well, lots of people like playing them?" If so, it basically amounts to, "You don't make up a majority or popular choice, so your opinions don't matter." People playing with mixed up perk builds or just people otherwise shaking things up by deviating from popular playstyles already deal with a lot of crap just because they're typically not up to par with people who are taking the beaten path. Why compound on that by removing a killer that allows them an unconventional playstyle?
Maybe it wasn't the intention of this topic, but it comes across very uncaring of others' wants. If 99.98% of people don't play as the Twins, that's fine. Why remove the killer with the only justification basically being that .02% of people just don't matter because, well, they don't belong to a higher percentage?
You make valid point I'm being sarcastic their just so bad you don't see them

When inside a locker as Dredge, you can press M1 to break the lock. Interestingly, you even get a brief cooldown that immediately stops you from exiting/teleporting elsewhere (meaning the counterplay to Dredge still works).
