Killer is harder in several ways.
Survivor Adepts vs Killer Adepts springs to mind.
The 4 vs 1 element of the game make for some frustrating killer experiences.
Whilst it's usually easier to garner more bloodpoints as killer, having an overall relaxing play experience rests in the role of survivor.
SWF and the current matchmaking situation is a huge factor.
-
Oh yes. It is possible.
I ignore these inexplicably admired 'magicians'. If they start all the non-stop looping nonsense, I simply go after the rest of the team. After taking care of them, I usually find it's just me and The Great Loopario left. What follows is usually me finding and closing the hatch, and Loopy-Loo getting caught or dying via ECG.
Happened today whilst I was doing the 3 silver emblems challenge. Was glorious.
-
Only level 25.
Was away for a few weeks.
Only been back a couple of days and halfway through the part 2 challenges.
This morning was productive:
Was happy to unexpectedly DESTROY a SWF looper squad to get the 3 silver emblems achievement.
Then played the bad guy as a camping Wraith in order to get the Territorial Imperative basement achievement.

my question for this would be if you used vigil would you get 60 instead of 50 precent
Yes I suppose it would.
-
How about this:
Killer weapons can cut down the corn πππ
Bubba would be very productive.
-
I would also like to add that Michael Jackson - Speed Demon would play after using the add-on.

I think it's an interesting concept.
Whilst the obsession wouldn't be obliged to heal/be healed, when they did, they would suddenly be faced with the Exposed Status. Live or Die...make your choice π
-
I think it could be it's own perk.
An issue with Penance is that whilst the protecting survivor is broken, they have to be found in order to administer the downing blow. So as they can't heal, Nurse's Call is not viable. if they run far enough we can rely on BBQ&C. It's not a fantastic perk, I agree.
-
Well, Object Of Obsession is my overall most disliked perk. But it can benefit some of the swines who use it.
Useless or inefficient perks?:
Survivor:
-Up The Ante
-Slippery Meat
-No Mither
Killer:
-Monsterous Shrine
-Predator
-Terriorial Imperative

i think it could work if it only did half or 3 quarters of the exhaustion penalty so you still have a quarter or half your exhasurion left and maybe it attakes time to put on like an anti-hemorrhagic syringe
Yeah I did consider that as compromise. Filling half of whatever Exhaustion penalty remains would be fairer.

That doesn't work in DbD the devs could just say the entity is forcing him or twisted his mind/the entity made him strong and cured his cancer.
They bend source rules all the time they just did it to Silent Hill heavily Pyramid Head has nothing to do with the elementary school/Heather but they waved entity magic to have a mix of 3 games lore bending backwards.
I agree. I believe as soon as a killer, or survivor for that matter, is 'chosen' by the Entity, they get a 'buff' and their previous serious ailments are gone.
Many of the killers in DBD perform acts that would be impossible in their 'previous forms'. For example, Amanda Young (listed as 107lbs) would be unlikely to carry the likes of Jeff or Jane on her shoulder and then hang them on a hook. Same goes for the small female Legions.
Also, many of the characters were on the verge of death when plucked at the brink by the Entity (Amanda and Tapp, for example).
So yes, physical conditioning, serious disease and probable death are written off when entering the Fog.
-
It's a no from me.
I think some younger people would especially like the inclusion of such characters. I would rather have licenses of 80s horror film characters, but that's just my personal preference.
However, if they included 'creepypasta' characters as skins for original killers, I'd be fine with that.
-
I'm happy with the Silent Hill chapter, although it wasn't my personal first choice.
Now if people are unhappy with the new chapter, whether it be because of subject suitability/validity or because of the gameplay/perks...that's their opinion which they have a right to.
It's all down to opinion if the chosen license is a good fit for DBD. If some people seriously dislike the new content, they're not obliged to purchse it.
-
Ahhh well disappointed.
Thought the The Sun newspaper was getting it's own chapter π³
-
So much more could be do with Haddonfield. It's not a very pretty map either.
-
It's pretty harsh how you lose EVERYTHING when deciding to prestige.
I agree you should at least keep all your previously obtained perks, but have them all on the lowest grade.
I also think that all objects and add-ons should be retained whilst choosing to prestige.
-
It's my favourite map for survivor and killer π

I agree with everything everyone else has said, but what about LFD1/2? choosing one from that series would be really difficult since their are so many great characters, I personally would choose Coach to get a LFD2 rep. But that's just me, curious what other people would think, I know Nick is another fan favorite that would work too.
Yeah I forgot Left For Dead and Ash vs Evil Dead. Silly me. I was thinking only about chapters.

π Yeah we could really pimp them out with even custom music, maybe the old Nintendo Wii Mii theme.

During a game? Well before lockdown it was people knocking at my front door in the middle of a match π
Actually invovled with the game? Crap matchmaking.
-
I have mentioned the possibility of this before. A 2018 version of Laurie too.
Some on here have said it's because the chapter is based soley on the 1978 film.
We'll have to wait and see.
-
I would like to do that.
Unfortunately when I leave off work our local chippy is about 10 people deep and I'm too knackered to bother.

Your post got me thinking, the basement of the sawyer house was bubbas spot. Thats where he made his mask and dragged his new friends to...i swear the devs meant for him to be the best basement camper in the game
So maybe he has his own little map integrated in to every other map π

If they ever do this it should have a comfy basement with 2 chests π
It would be rude not too π
Imagine a 'body out of box freezer' jump scare.

Iβve been back in a Bubba bubble myself recently. Discordance works great on him too as you know youβre heading into an area with at least two potential chainsaw downs.
Actually I think I changed Thrilling Tremors to Surveillance in order to have more tracking.
-
@TheLastGreatStar said:
Iβm not sure of the likelihood but it would be great if we could get some new cosmetics and a proper map for him. I would kill for the Pretty Woman outfit to be added into the game. That would legit be terrifying to go against.
It certainly would and I am hopeful that at least that skin is added.
-
No particular Survivor, but I am currently using Leatherface the most on the killer side.
I like just sawing through pallets and his multiple instadown attack is a real threat. I use BBQ, Corrupt Intervention, Pop Goes The Weasel and Thrilling Tremors.
-
Although I acknowledge that a 3rd person view for killer wouldn't work in relation to Survivor gameplay, it's a shame we can't enjoy our various killer skins in their entirety.
-
I mean who else would smoke a rollie whilst wearing a Reverse Bear Trap.
-
If the survivor puts up a good chase and wasn't a first class plum about it (tea-baggery, pointing, flashlight clicking), there shouldn't really be any ill feeling from killer. There shouldn't be.
But if a survivor knows all the loops and there are gens popping all over the map as the killer frantically gives chase, then it could get messy.
Regardless of the killer being the one who chose to continue chasing that survivor, they'll still look at it as 'this is the person who ruined my game'.

Survivor when tunnelled/camped/mori'ed as a result of said tea-baggery = π₯Ί

It cancels out Spies From The Shadows (not a popular perk), but it can be handy in that you don't scream because of Doctor, Clown's tonic, Infectious Fright and Iron Maiden etc.
Taking away the crow element, it's a circumstantial perk like Slippery Meat, only more beneficial.

I wouldn't equip skins of such nature. It makes you a more viable tunnel target .

I don't know if this counts, but Saw V because everyone thought it was ######### and I honestly don't see why people think this.
It's in no means a bad film (in my opinion at least), just regarded as one of the weakest of the series. I like it too.

Nothing wrong with mac n cheese...but wasting it by redecorating your basement walls with it...that's just a waste.

I agree with the first one, but I believe the second one is behind an add on.
Yes it is.
I don't think it should exist at this point. Doctor's rework made him a formidable killer and his Static Blast is a really powerful skill.
With Static Blast, screaming and fake Doctors...I think it can be too much for some survivor teams.
-
Because they're cry-babies who just threw a tantum and literally threw their macaroni cheese all over the room.
-
Doctor:
-Downed survivors should not scream.
-Doctor should not be able to see the fake Doctors. His Static Blast is sufficient for finding survivors.
-
I can't see him being added.
For one, he's too large to be a killer. And then BHVR would have a real job getting the license, especially now the franchise is owned by Disney.
.....π
-
A nod, a tap of your weapon on the gen. Then we're on the same wavelength π
Same approach as the Iron Maiden locker grab.
Otherwise you could find that you're wasting several games on silly challenges.
-
It is simply the biggest troll perk in the whole game. I hate it.
Just had a game this morning. Red Forest, Mother's Dwelling. As soon as the game started...oh looks it's a Claudette in a red aura. This is going to be fun π I hooked her once as she ran to unhook a teammate, but after that it was the usual SWF antics which are expected. The gens were popping in quick succession. And sure enough, she was well-versed with the main house loops and I couldn't catch her, so I left her alone. She then spent the rest of the match furiously tea-bagging me as I took out her teammates. She must of given herself a hernia with all that tea-baggery with one gen to go. And then it happened...me and her...oh what's this?...I can see her aura π Naturally I relished downing her and administering a well-deserved mori (was doing 8 kills by any means Rift tome challenge).
After the match, predictably it was a Rank 1 with a kissy face picture of themselves on their PS4 profile.
What a breakfast. I'm stuffed.
But yes...it's an appalling perk which is about as welcome in a match as a mosquito in a tent.
-
I'm an Englishman.
The only tea-bagging I do involves a nice hot cup of PG Tips.
...can be quite painful at times.
-
Underworld - Dark & Long (Dark Train remix).
-
I would personally unlock each killer's teachables first. That way, when you concentrate on upgrading one particular killer, all the perks have a chance of appearing on the bloodweb.
