Still want my killer snowman. Or at very least a legendary skin. Come on behavior! They would probably pay you for the lisence!

Probably a new charm 🥳

Well done. I've never got past rank 3 I believe, and I've been playing since 2017. I enjoy getting trophies etc.

Yeah, have like a maze type map, with all the box patterns on the walls,i think there was a scene in the 4th hellraiser movie with a building in that same design, would be something a bit different.
Ah I see.
I'm only really a fan of the first three films. At the end of the third film, the box is placed in concrete and a building built over it. Later the building is shown complete, and has the style of the box (the Lament Configuration) in the interior.
-
I'm not a great looper either. I usually don't escape a chase when I'm in one. Facts.
But when I occasionally do get away, I regard it as a win if I sent the pursuing killer the wrong way or they just gave up the chase.
-
Instaheals and Ruin.
Both were good decisions in my opinion.

I'd much rather licenses be fully fleshed out if they were to be added to the game. I see so many people saying Jason (if he ever can come to DbD) should just be a skin for the Trapper but in my opinion that'd be a crappy way to blow such an iconic license.
Yes it would, I agree. Friday 13th is a big, if not the biggest horror license.
But what I am suggesting is including elements of lesser licences in DBD which don't necessarily validate their own chapter release.
-
Several of the killers have a special connection with their own weapon.
Freddy's glove was designed to murder his young victims. Clown's knife is used to sever the fingers of his tortured prey. Pig's blade was devised by her teacher, John Kramer. There is usually some significance invovled.
As some have already mentioned, some of the killers wouldn't know how to throw a hatchet with skillful precision. Demogorgon would probably just eat them.

I'm a big fan of the Little Nightmares franchise. Unfortunately the artstyles of Little Nightmares and DbD wouldn't mix well... So a licensed chapter is highly unlikely.. :(
But: Just imagine a stereotypical chef with a butcher's hatchet. Heavy breathing. His belly rivaling the clown's.
Man.. I really need to play Little Nightmares again.. I miss those monstrosities. :)
I always wanted a Clown chef skin. Maybe he worked on occasion in the catering caravan with his travelling circus.

Even though I brought it near enough on PS4 release in 2017, I only recently started giving more characters the Prestige treatment.
My first survivor was Claudette. When I started playing I only had 6 survivors before the DLCs got released. So I choose Claudette for Self-Care and it went from there.
I believe my first killer was Michael Myers. I wanted his bloody mask. Was rather disappointed with what I got.
My other Prestige characters are, off the top of my head:
Survivors:
David
Detective Tapp
Killers:
Clown
Leatherface
Pig
Freddy

All sorted: Able to see Survivors at all time in the whole map is madly Op if it should be "standard" for all Hex
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/0QC54CQ5ILTG/image.png
Wrong choice: same as Franklin demise & Lightborne. You see a key, bring in Wrong choice, simple. There is no situational
Come to me: image you have a hooked survivor, other 3 come to save, they bodyblock ect. Just to realize they stayed for over 60sec and bam, Exposed.
If you consider all these perk ideas are weak, Im afraid every Killers' perks are weak to you.
All Sorted: You forgot to mention 'survivor' (when inside the meter radius) in the original perk description. Whilst a somewhat intresting concept, I would say that perk is op.
Wrong Choice: That's all it would be used for, when someone has a key. Making it highly situational. At least with Franklin's the perks effects all items regardless.
Come To Me: It could work in that situation, but again, that's a rare situation and one which would encourage the killer to camp around the hook.
I don't understand what you mean in your last comment, but I believe there are strong and weak perks. But again, these just my opinions.
-
One thing that does intrigue me is when they act like a prize sod all match...but when it's just you and them, and you catch them opening the exit gate...and they turn and start nodding.
No. It's not going to happen. *BIFF*
-
Thoughts:
All Sorted: This should possibly be standard. Seems like a waste of a whole slot as Hex's sometimes don't last very long.
Wrong Choice: This would only work if the escaping survivor had a key. It would also effectively be punishing the remaining survivors. It wouldn't be a popular perk as this situation would rarely arise.
Come To Me: 40/50/60 after EGC starts, the remaining survivors are usually lined up, waiting to do a group teabag session in the exit gate area. When they see you approaching, they'll just exit.

I don't think people should be told:
"If you don't enjoy the game, get better."
It's not all about personal ability. Some games can be a breeze and that doesn't mean they're particularly enjoyable.
Some have pointed out that player behaviour can make for an experience that's not enjoyable. That's not in relation to your overall game skill level or the results you reap.
If someone wants to complain, they can complain. They're not obliged to show positivity in all situations.
-
Whilst several people taunt others who use it, Self-Care is a handy perk.
Ok, some are 'too cool for school' and won't get hit by the killer because they're a *add silly descriptive term used on Reddit and by DBD YouTubers* who knows all the loops etc, but some will take a hit.
Outside the SWF bubble, there are times when you would find yourself injured and without aid.
Examples:
-Your teammates are inadequate and are busy getting killed themselves.
-Some teammates just flat out refuse to heal (which is an odd rarity).
-You can't reach your teammates safely.
-You're the final survivor.
-All the totems have been cleansed, rendering Inner Strength useless.
-You can't find a chest with a med-kit.
It's obviously preferable to be healed by another survivor taking in to account the healing speed, the only risk obviously being you have to rely on other's skill checks.
I don't think Self-Care use should be frowned upon.
In fact, the only perk I personally take exception to is Object Of Obsession.
-
If his add-ons got a tweak here and there, he'd be fine.
-
On PS4, in my experience I would say Demogorgon.
-
He was alright before his nerf and I quickly got the Adept.
Then I started doing the Broken Bones trophy and soon realised how clunky he was. Then there's the fact you have to injure survivors to use his power (forget the passive regeneration) and even then it doesn't seem to last long. His instadown attack is also easily avoided.
Not a fan.
-
Yes.
Since they added Demogorgon, the human origin element went out the window. It could even be argued that Alien is technically of human origin.
Alien, whilst regarded as sci-fi, is (for at least some) a scary film. Its basically horror, in space.
Stranger Things is also not regarded as horror, but the Demogorgon creature is a frightening monster.
-
I agree. Although balance and matchmaking are major issues, the real rot is a lot of the player base.
On many occasions, it's more important to be "LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!" like they've just stood up going to toilet for the first time. They would rather see the killer quit the match.

I think putting politics into the game is a reallllllly bad idea.
Donating to good causes is well...good though. I think you have to keep games as games and not something portraying political messages which stem off into all sorts of arguments and division.
This.
Although if a cosmetic set was released and all proceeds went to the medical staff who have worked in this pandemic, I would be all for that.
-
I love horror, but I fully acknowledge that this game is full of issues. I agree, it's the most toxic game I've played too. I also agree that it's hard to enioy, especially since the rift challenges started.
-
Obviously the grinding challenges are the issue.
Taking in to account lobby wait times and the pure ridiculousness of some of the challenges/achievements, having a day at the farm is sometimes preferable.
-
"Hi guys, how y'all doin'? Hope y'all stayin' safe. It's crazy out there..."
Default intro 2020.
-
I will say one thing: if the Friday 13th lawsuit hadn't messed things up with the game, I would still be there and this would an 'odd occasion' game. Probably wouldn't gone for all the DLCs either.
-
Always been a horror fan.
Brought Friday 13th.
Heard Michael Myers was coming to DBD.
Brought DBD.
-
I would be content with:
-Friday 13th
-Hellraiser
-Alien
I would also like:
-Nightbreed
-Maniac Cop
-Candyman
-The Thing
-
"Come back to my place for some Thrilling Tremors..."
-
Anyone who works with the killer, basically.
-
1.When's this out?
2.Will there be a deluxe edition?
-
Now that is impressive.
I'm usually just hanging there with the hook under my armpit.

@Dr_Loomis And while we are on the subject of Halloween, H20 was also a really great survivor story, despite having that '90s Dawson's Creek sheen that every Dimension horror movie of the era had. The scene where Laurie sends the kids out and locks herself inside the school, then grabs the fire ax and screams Michael's name as the Halloween theme wells up behind HER and not him, I swear is one of the greatest moments ever captured on film.
I watched it at the cinema and maybe once on VHS. I remember it being quite forgettable but will have to rewatch at some point.
-
Well just to make you aware: When Ghost Face was first released, he wasn't automatically uploaded on to PSN so I brought cells and used them to unlock him in-game.
Imagine my happy face when I found out that, because I brought Ghost Face in-game, I didn't get his extra monochrome skin. Turns out you had to buy it through PSN to get the extra skin. Now I probably wouldn't of ever used it, but I was a little cheesed off.
-
I would like to see Jeff, Jane, Yui and Zarina has some more 'generic' clothing over some of the stuff they've got.
Jeff is all metal t-shirts and leather.
Jane's stuff is just not suited to the style of the game, in my opinion. All very unflattering.
Yui has simply the worst survivor skins in the entire game. Would be nice to have long, natural coloured hair without those silly goggles. Her outfits look so ridiculous.
Zarina's alternatives have either got too many hanging knick-knacks or just look crap. That short 'pandemic cut' hair is terrible.
-
'Too scared to play killer' ...gawd that sounds a sad state of affairs.
Survivors should be literally scared of the killer.
If the game could find a good balance whilst having the killer as a legitimate threat who should be feared, we'd be laughing.
Unfortunately...can't see that happening.

I've liked a few remakes that were considered bad or at least 'meh'
- Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 - I'm probably one of the few who actually like remake Freddy. He was much darker and scarier imo.
- Friday the 13th 2009 - My favorite version of Jason. Hated the overly cringy teenagers tho ick.
- Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 - idc what anyone says, this movie was tense asf. One of my favorite remakes.
I recently re-watched the Elm Street remake and I was left underwhelmed. It's not an awful film, it's just forgettable.
I do however, feel the 'mother end scene' is better in 2010 than the 1984 film. I'll give them that.
-
Selfish or self-dependant?
Anyway, I think:
*Self-Care
*Plunder's Instinct
*Unbreakable
*Spine Chill
-
Playing against her? No real threat. Not fussed.
-
Read the subject title in Eminem's Stan voice...
-
It would be the world's first tea-bag simulator.
-
A few more frowned upon horror films I happen to have a soft spot for:
-Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers
This has my favourite horror film intro of all-time. Excellently shot with eerie, foreboding music. The film itself isn't all bad and the ending was memorable.
-Maniac Cop
One of my favourite slashers. It has a cult following but overall reviews are not that favourable. There's not much to it, but it's all good fun.
-Silent Hill: Revelation
Watched the original at the cinema. This one wasn't well-received widely by fans and critics. I however, enjoyed it more than I remember with the first film.
-
Bubba.
The food would be sorted.

Yeah his Adept shouldn't be that tough.
I thought Oni and Deathslinger were going to be real headaches but weren't an issue.

Not everyone want to prestige. It’s a waste of millions of bloodpoints.
Oh I was there once, but my achievements started drying up and I wanted more things to grind toward.
-
Well I suppose we just have to go for hooks instead of cages. I admit I am not looking forward to attempting Adept Dorito.
