I guarantee you that if they did that, somebody would create a thread here calling it unoriginal as it's just a hybrid of huntress hatchet and clown bottle
That’s true lol
But honestly I don’t see a way that BHVR could implement it and still have it be balanced
-
Just play Deathslinger, it does literally nothing against him.
-
Both should be shirtless.

I seriously have no idea why Wesker has that huge terror radius. Sure we can use terror radius related perks then more often, but I just don't understand why he has 40m. For what reason or purpose?
He’s a killer that moves fast AND can slow survivors down. It makes sense to me
-
It’s Wesker time
-
No, but a piece of blast mine trivia that I didn’t know is that it combos with Residual Manifest

It’s Wesker time

I only ever run chase and info builds.

Mains (killers I switch between playing regularly): Oni, Deathslinger, Legion, Demo
Learning (I play these very often since I want to get used to their powers and I find them interesting): Oni, Pyramid Head, Pinhead, Ghostie, Sadako, Blight, Huntress and Dredge
Occasionally: Bubba, Spirit, Nurse, Artist
Almost Never: everyone else, unless I’m forgetting some killers.

I don’t think Trickster would smell like a locker room

Oni is m1 killer most of the time without nothing to help trapper at least has traps and hillbilly or bubba has their chainsaw. Even pig has kinda antiloop but very bad one. Oni should has the dash all time at least to have map mobility.
Oni wouldn’t need that if maps weren’t terribly designed.

No need to fix it's fine and oni could use other buffs as well just watch otz video were he gets no hooks before all gens are done so I think oni should start as 120% movement speed m1 killer. If otz can't get hooks before gens are done it just shows how weak oni truly is and is needing buffs agains't survivors who know the counter play don't let him get hit.
Otz also didn’t get his power before the gens got done, because he barely got any hits to begin with thanks to cowshed and the survivor’s spawns. If anything it says more about M1 killers than it does Oni. Oni is not weak, but many maps are ridiculously unbalanced.

I understand you, I just don’t usually have an issue with getting my power early. On average the survivors will make a mistake and I’ll get hits. My build also helps, infectious, monitor, spirit fury, enduring. They don’t get as early a warning that I’m coming, and then predropping pallets only charges my spirit fury early on for me, and eliminates many pallet for me to get slugging value out of infectious while in power.
Perks definitely help, especially Monitor. And I can’t tell you that your own personal experience is wrong.
I’m just saying that survivors are capable of denying Oni his power for a very long time depending on the map.

Survivors should predrop and w-key as that is the best way to counter oni early on. More blood orbs when performing actions just makes sense. It’s always been that way.
You’re right, it is the best way to counter Oni in the early game. But the survivors should eventually take a hit and Oni should get his power in a reasonable amount of time. With maps like Cowshed, Eyrie, Garden of Joy and in some cases Suffocation Pit, that simply is not the case. And as I said, this is also a problem for a lot of other killers.

Explain how map design is his problem?🤔 Curious to hear your thoughts.
On many maps, strong tiles or strong pallets are interconnected with each other. This means that if survivors W-key and predrop pallets, it can be extremely difficult to catch them without blood fury (this is a problem that applies to almost every other killer as well). If maps weren’t designed in this way, then Oni wouldn’t take so long to get his power. Making survivors drop more blood orbs per action would be more or a band-aid fix.

I’ll have to post the clip, but I got my first triple down with oni the other day. Hooked one, and dashed around the corner to find the other 3 grouped up healing and hit them all with a single demon strike. It was magnificent.
I think I had a blood fury where I got 4 downs thanks to infectious fright. I’ll need to find the clip.

Getting good with oni is so rewarding, he feels very powerful.
Absolutely yes
-
This isn’t severe enough for Oni to be killswitched over. It’s also a bug that needs to be fixed.
Map design is his problem, not how many orbs survivors drop.

I think I might need to master Oni myself so he can think I’m worthy enough to marry in the Yamaoka family with my sweetheart Rin.
Yes, you should master Oni.
-
If you mean that you’re having trouble with survivors who stealth, I relate. It’s not difficult to win against as much as it is frustrating, but because I’m blind and just enjoy chases the most it certainly gives me a hard time as killer.
-
Changes every week or two tbh.
Right now? Pinhead, Deathslinger, and Demo. I just enjoy learning a new killer or a killer I’m not that good with more than anything else. I will say that Demo is probably the most consistently fun.
-
Happens to me about once every couple of days. Except I do get a DC penalty.

I like how this is always a question asked like people are somehow stupid. I do know this. Yes. I also know, unlike you have seemed to realize, FUNDING is pushed to other departments and developers for THEIR games inside of said company. Funding that could go to a better coding team and testers so that all these broken things don't contnue to happen. Or that some of the spaghetti is straightened out after 6 years.
I’m sorry if you felt like I was treating you like you were stupid. I’ve met others here who genuinely don’t understand that the Dbd devs aren’t the entirety of BHVR.
Anyway, I understand that they could give more funding to Dbd, however this isn’t really something that the Dbd devs themselves can control. But it’d be nice if the Dbd devs put some of the money that they spend on acquiring licenses and making cosmetics towards fixing the issues you mentioned, if possible.
-
This is a toxic relationship, you need to let go and let them live their own life without constant judgement from you.
Sorry, wrong post. You do realize that the team working on DBD aren’t the only people who work for BHVR right? Most to all of the people making these other games never worked on dbd to begin with.
-
I want a legendary skin for Huntress where she’s actually Bubba and throws chainsaws.
-
The Shining and Until Dawn
I also don’t feel very optimistic about Jason ever making it
-
Ok
-
Backwards Bubba.
Primer Bulb with Speed Limiter and a perk build of Haunted Ground, NOED, Starstruck and Make Your Choice.
The goal is to hit survivors with your chainsaw to injure them, and your instadowns come from your exposed perks.
-
He’s not even out yet how am I supposed to know
-
I’ve had a ton of different mains over my time playing Dbd, but now I don’t really have one and I pretty much play any killer I feel like playing at that moment.
For survivors, Steve’s my favorite by a mile.
-
Sprint Burst is just as boring and frustrating to face as killer as Dead Hard was.
This is just based on my personal preference, and I don’t necessarily think Sprint Burst should be nerfed.
-
Honestly, I wouldn’t say I enjoy one killer the most at the moment. I’m happiest when I’m learning how to play someone new.
I do have a least favorite though, that being Hag.
-
One notable thing is that Oni stays in his dash once he collides with an obstacle. Once you’re good enough, you can drift along walls and turn usually very safe tiles into deathtraps using your dash.
-
The Game, hands down
-
It was the first day of the anniversary event. 4 flans, but one Eyrie of Crows offering. I think “wow, this will be a fun game.”
I load into the game as Demo. All is normal until there’s a Bill with flip flop and boil over. He gets downed in a spot where I have no chance of hooking him unless my pathing is perfect. My pathing is not perfect but I still hook him. I think “huh, that’s strange” but every time I downed him in that same spot afterwards he wiggled off just fine.
After the game I see that his build was Boil Over, Flip Flop, Unbreakable and Dead Hard, and that he brought the Eyrie offering. He accused me of hacking because he couldn’t wiggle off one singular time. I still don’t know why he couldn’t wiggle off but I like to think that he missed all of his skillchecks and his brain refused to accept it.
-
I was playing against an insidious camping Billy on Midwich once, but rather than facecamping he’d stand at the end of the hallway and chainsaw all the way to the hook as soon as an unhook happened. I had music on so I couldn’t really hear him charging his power that well, and you can imagine my reaction when I turned around after unhooking a Dwight only to see an angry man with a chainsaw charging at me.
-
Imagine using Stridor when you could just turn your game up to deafening levels
