Buff solo, balance the game around coordinated survivors
-
I believe they will, even if not individual DLC should be on sale.
also I switched to PC from Xbox not too long ago so I know the struggle lmao
-
Just waiting for the day when saying “I was doing gens” get censored to “I was ####### gens”
unless it already is lol
-
I got about 30k from a match earlier, around 60k with bloodhunt and I ended up with 100k so BBQ has been working fine for me. I will say that I brought a wreath but that doesn’t double your bloodpoints overall iirc, just gives a boost to one category.
maybe I’m just bad at math or in denial
-
Twins map where it’s a dreary village and the basement is a cave
-
I’ll let you know about a secret only Blight players like myself know about…
it’s called looking at a wall. 60 percent of the time, it works. Every time.
-
Don’t play then
-
I believe it’s an “it” but people call it he because most people seem to think Dredge is Otto Stamper.
-
That was me too until I changed my objective to getting my 4 bbq stacks and just messing around afterwards. You don’t need to sweat, if anything a blood hunt is the perfect chance to be more relaxed in your games.
-
Stop letting slowdown perks carry you. Take them off and run no perks/chasing perks instead, then you’ll naturally become better and your games will be less frustrating because your MMR will actually reflect your skill.
-
I don’t think BHVR is ever going to update the game graphics or settings lol
-
With other changes he needs like hug tech (which will be removed-eventually) and nerfs for C33 and Alc ring, I think that’s overkill.
-
Depends on the take
-
The people trying to speedrun games are probably aware that they aren't playing optimally for bloodpoints, but they'd rather go through as many games as possible instead, which is perfectly fine.
But I don't think it's good that someone deciding to do that will impact the other players in the match so much. How are you supposed to get a lot of BP against a Myers with tombstone offerings?
-
Very confusing because I don't know why he's so bright
-
My build is BBQ, (lets me know who to go after next after hooking someone and how to do it) Discordance, (Helps to find groups of people working on gens and makes it easier to pick off people who might be going for hook rescues) Corrupt (To have time to 99 a bunch of people to allow for a snowball later) and a slowdown perk, usually Ruin. Philly and Walleye's matchbook are probably his best addons, ever since they were reworked.
-
Not intended, this hasn't been a thing before.
-
I'm jealous
-
Hag in the top tier is...intriguing, to say the least. Anyway, here's my list.
Side note- Blight is kinda a special case. He's the most fun when I'm doing well as him, but he's incredibly tilting when I can't get it working. It's not even the skill of the survivors I'm going against, it's just that I am incredibly inconsistent with him.

I firmly believe a good survivor can absolutely dunk on any m1 killer, ghostface not bring the exeption, prob if you 99 and then do it midchase it might be usefull but as I see it any m1 killer is really easily dunked on if the survivor has decent skills.
With DH? Maybe. But if the survivor is exposed and doesn't have DH, and throw in some crouch mindgames and possibly even some skullduggery using Night Shroud, it's completely possible to outplay them. Especially because many survivors panic after they are exposed without realizing they've been stalked.

How? He has nothing, his instadown is not even an issue since he is m1, so even if he marks you any safe loop will absolutely destroy him, looping an m1 killer is one of the easiest things in dbd, you can surely do it for at least a minute and ignore his mark.
99 the survivor, get close to them, mark and down before they can react. You don't even need to be in stealth to do this. You can walk up to them, chase them normally, tap the power button, and get a hit. If you're getting looped for a solid minute without a hit, I don't care who you're playing as, you really need to focus on improving your chasing.

A killer that doesnt have mobility nor a chase power is a joke, can be looped endlessly an represents not a threath whatsoever.
If you're going on long chases with Ghostface, I'm sorry but you do not know how to play Ghostface.

Before his "rework" that literally didn't change him at all, I would probably put him in C tier. But now, he is so easy to reveal and I think that's a huge drawback. I mean sure, he has stealth and instadown. But because he can be put out of his power so easily, he has his power only like 50% of the game. And if you know you have been stalked, you can force him to hit when he can't expose you.
His rework was really good. His addons are actually good now, and marked survivors not being able to reveal you allows you to pull off some interesting plays where you mark someone, walk away while undetectable, then mark and down someone else. It's niche, but if you have a survivor on hook you can use this to force a certain survivor (like someone on death hook) to go for the save.
Being revealed more easily sucks but there are a few tricks you can use to make yourself seen less easily. Like when you're stalking from an edge, you can scoot to the left or right a few steps (basically going behind the wall a little more) while still stalking the survivor.
Ghostface doesn't have a chase power, but you're not going to be in many long chases anyway. Plus you can still mindgame with crouch.
By the way, nobody's forcing you to press M1. Unless you're carrying a survivor, which is a pretty difficult scenario to be in. But it's completely possible to stalk people unseen if you do it from longer distances, so this becomes less of an issue. if you're really struggling with this you can always run Agitation or just drop the survivor you're carrying (although I understand that's very risky)

You're sleeping on Ghostie hard, would you mind telling me why he's in D?
-
I feel that Blight needs a glow up too
-
Oh boy won't you be excited
-
Too early to tell. Freddy and Demo still have their chase powers, Demo has freedom of where to place portals and Freddy pressures gens much better and can mindgame with Dream Projection sometimes.
However, Dredge does curb-stomp Sadako.
-
They've really stepped up their game since the anniversary stream
-
The most importsnt thing to remember about Pinhead is his huge learning curve; possessed chains take time to get used to. He also has one of the highest skill caps in the game.
-
That's a skill problem.
Although to be fair you didn't clarify if you can't win without them or if you're just not having fun.
-
Well, it's worth noting that they are uncapping prestige. Although I guess it'd be nice to see a system where you could trade in bloodpoints for other stuff.
-
I don't really care that much about survivor appearances, after all this is Dbd not a- you know what nevermind.
-
Ok but you're actually right about all the complaining that goes around, especially about stuff survivors have.
These forums ARE killer dominated, for better or for worse.
-
Yep, prestige helps (a lot) instead of hurting you now.

He never created these. Also I worked hard on this.
He makes them after literally every stream lmao
I respect that you worked hard on this, (and your speed in getting this out there) and I understand that you can't put a trademark on these type of posts, but if your motivation in making this thread was upvotes then I suggest you don't do it next time around.
-
EVERY TIME THERE'S A STREAM someone tries to steal GBK's thunder, lol.
-
No Joey, automatically 0/10 game. Unbelievable.
-
May this adorable creature gift you with haste and minimal wrist pain.
-
I agree on changing the cooldown, but Thrilling Tremors should be a tracking perk not a slowdown perk.

I still like the idea of reworking it so that when you use it you have a short window of endurance if you get hit and it would otherwise give you no distance / dash like it does now.
This way it fits the perk description more "You can take a beating", no longer let's you dash to a pallet when you NEED to and becomes a more skillful interaction between survivor and killer.
The problem with that is you can use it to guarantee safety to vault a window or drop a pallet when you'd otherwise be hit. That's one of Dead Hard's biggest problems- it takes away downs from the killer even after they've won the chase.
It's more skillful for the survivor to time it right, but for the killer there's not much that's skillful about being forced to take a pallet stun when you should have hit the survivor, or having to wait 5 seconds before downing a survivor just to wait for Dead Hard.
-
@Starrseed said:
But with your idea DH doesn't change and it isn't only a problem that really good survs get nearly invisible with it its also a problem that you can just evade any Form of play the killer does with the press of a button.
Just imagine killers had a perk that the could press E and boom my hit lands no matter what the survivor is doing
With my suggestion, DH wouldn't take away deserved downs from the killer. 20 seconds isn't a lot of time when you consider that the killer has to wipe their weapon and then catch up to the survivor. To be fair, it may be more harsh on Nurse and Blight- but they both are already top tier killers.
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:
Wouldn't removing distance just make it worthless?
Like I think its broken in its current state but I don't think an exhaustion perk should be worthless
Not really. Imagine you're in an unsafe place but you use the I-frames to just get to a pallet and extend the chase by that much more.
Basically, it'd still allow you to reach safety just by pressing a button, as long as your timing is good.
-
I've gotten so many messages from survivors saying how I jumpscared them as Ghostie >:)
-
I'd like some explanations, especially for Hag and Clown.

I only play as Joey. Suzie is definitely overrated.
Joey is best
-
You're good as long as you don't engage with the community, especially these forums.
I genuinely enjoy the game but I have to take breaks from the forums a lot to keep people online from convincing me that I'm not having fun lol
-
It's a pretty big disadvantage to you.
To get the most value out of CoH, you need to set it up far away from the gens. To get value out of all the other perks, you'll need to set them up somewhere that the killer will be chasing often, so this build is really counterintuitive.
-
Suzie gets a skin, Frank and Julie get a tome...
they're really doing king Joey dirty :(
-
I don't pay attention to ships much but all I'm gonna say is DwightxYunJin is pretty decent and the entity's favorite power couple are two crows. Just pick any two.
