Auto Dead Hard is a thing altough I havent encountered it THAT many times, maybe you are unlucky and faced a lot of cheaters in a row or you faced some cheaters with very good players in between and makes it look like the auto users are higher than they are.
I have noticed it twice today itself. Man some people sweat so much in this game to use something like "auto dead hard".
-
Dead Hard is the primary reason i'm not playing killer anymore. But "jUsT bAiT iT oUT" right?
-
Everybody asking "why mmr" But nobody's asking "how is mmr" :(
-
Not a "killer" problem
-
@Souplet said:
Stop taking baits please
Yeah speaking about how horrible mmr is, is "bait" right? Even though the game's been bleeding players and they had to run "matchmaking tests" to try and fix it. Go ahead and call everything "bait" when you can't grasp the facts and logic behind it.
-
@Ruma said:
You call yourself good but want to face bad players? Wow.
Don't wanna face bad players. Also don't wanna face full meta build swfs that does all gens in 4 mins, very little a killer can do to compete against that kinda gen speed even with gen defense perks. The old matchmaking system was better, atleast there was a mixture and variety of players. Ya'll are acting as if mmr didn't make dbd lose it's player base lol, the stats speak for themselves after mmr was introduced.
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
So you wanna face with only baby players because you can 3K-4K them all time?
So 4 dead hards every game and just Nurse and Blights every game is fine according to you? You just have to mindlessly disagree with everything i say lol, even if it is about something as bad as mmr.
-
Billy as survivor.
-
Lets not forget that this is the same team that thought 25% wiggle progress Boil Over and 100% healing speed COH was a good idea lol. These guys literally don't play the game.
-
@DrDeepwound said:
Can't play lower tier killers the way you play stronger ones.
Be more sluggy, pressure hooks til second stage and try to tunnel one out early is your best hope on killers like Trickster or CLown.
You wont get a 12 hook game so get it how you can
That's what i was thinking, he might stand a chance with proxy camping and making the game a 3v1.
-
They need to try and get back the Stranger Things license, it's a money maker with all the new survivors and a new killer they can introduce.

Not much you an really do with a 4.4 M1 Killer
Hmm okay, so trickster against good survivors is a big no?

Play an actual good Killer
I know he's a wallmart version of huntress, but still.

...do you really want me to re-write this with "kicking generators" instead?
Yeah lets compare kicking gens to a survivor literally unhooking themselves and saving their life, then using ds right after.
-
@Souplet said:
I feel like this person is a baiter for killer side just like Sluzzy is for survivors
Noted
What part of "the game gives free second chances to survivors without needing a perk, while the killer gets none" seem bait to you?
-
@Annso_x said:
Killers get a bunch of perks to slow down the survivors' objectives. How about a perk for survivors, where if they rescue a survivor they can perform an action to have an extra hook stage before dying to slowdown the killers' objective?
Or is slowing down the game just exclusive to killers?
(that's how balance works, right?)
I haven't mentioned any "perk" on my post, 4% is a game mechanic given to survivors for free, just like the hatch.
-
@Phasmamain said:
I thought 2 sides being different was the whole point of an asymmetrical game
By "different " you mean lets shower one side with second chances while the other side is actually punished for mistakes?
-
@Souplet said:
Killers dont need second chances perks
Survivor need one particular second chance perk nerfed
No need to unbalance the game further more
@GoodBoyKaru said:
This is quite possibly the worst comparison I've ever seen.
Just because one side has something doesn't mean the other has to have a direct equivalent. Survivors have exhaustion perks, doesn't mean the killer needs a perk to increase their speed to 150% for 3 seconds. Killers have perks which block the generator at the start of the trial, doesn't mean survivors need a perk to instantly complete a generator at the end of a trial.
4% isn't a perk, it is given by the game to survivors for free, just like the hatch. Yet the game gives zero second chances to the killer by default.
-
Some people seriously need to grow a pair and play some killer.

Dead hard is nowhere close to NOED. Dead hard can be baited out. NOED can't be baited.
"JuSt BaiT iT OuT"
Survivors who say this, do you actually lack brain cells? Or are you just pretending dead hard isn't strong so it doesn't get nerfed? For the 1000th time, baiting it out doesn't do anything when DH is used to gain distance to reach a window or pallet, you guys know this damn well, so stop pretending.

@KateDunson said:
Thats how i play killer the rare times i play for rift, hook everyone twice, no camp or tunneling, and i go afk in a corner, don't assume the nurse didn't know what was doing, it was clear that she she didn't care to win
She was trying to down us after the exits were powered, she just gave up after we made it to the exits and were about to escape. But the 3 survivors decided to not leave and rub it in her face more.
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
Oh yea, only survivors are toxic. All killer players are innocent angels. We should hate all toxicity, not just one-side.
Another "They vs Us" post from you.
I didn't see the part where i said ONLY survivors are toxic. Ofcourse both sides can be toxic, but survivors are much more notorious to be toxic than killers in dbd (youtube is filled with them, lots of survivor streamers got famous out of acting toxic). Not to mention 4 people acting toxic towards one person sucks far more than the killer acting toxic towards 1 survivor.

^ This. This is frustrating as hell. I still refuse to run DH, though. I just don't like it.
I actually kinda like survivors that don't run DH lol, cuz they actually know how to loop without a "get out of jail free card". And i don't tunnel them either.

And yet I bet that OP never thought "Ok, I did not play that well this game". Like so many players in DBD do.
Oh yeah cuz just pressing E to get distance everytime you're outplayed requires so much skill right? Shame i couldn't counter something that can't be countered. Let me guess, i should have just "baited it out"?

It's The Average Killer Experience.
Yup, sad killer lyf.
-
Survivors will just be annoying and hide in lockers until corrupt goes away then. So the first 2 minutes of the match will be absolutely nothing.
-
Tru3ta1ent once said that this map used to be killer sided, so they reworked it and made it absolutely survivor sided. And so it's fine now lol.
-
@Waldbeere said:
And what should happen, if there are no better matches available? Aren't he allowed to play the game or should he wait forever? You all assume that there are always all kinds of players ready for pairing.
It's the other way round, the survivors must have been waiting for a long time, and since there aren't many killer players available, the game threw the baby killer their way.
-
Because the game doesn't have enough killer players, it's as simple as that. So throw the baby killer to the thousand hour survivors to reduce queue times.
-
@Advorsus said:
Yeah this is the part of DBD I've never felt like made much sense. By default it takes one survivor 400 seconds to do 5 gens. Even if you factored in a travel time of a whole minute, that's still 460 seconds total. With killer, it takes 60 seconds per hook state to kill a survivor. Even if you could instantly teleport, down, and hook survivors, that's still 480 seconds of time. So even if you could start the match and immediately have all 4 survivors on the hook, it'd take about the same amount of time for a single survivor to finish all 5 gens, and power the exit Gates with travel time.
Now add in a bunch of second chance perks, strong loops and map tile spawns, and the fact that there's 3-4 survivors that can be completing their objective at any given time, and it's easy to see how killers feel more pressure. From the start of the match you are playing from behind. And your only way to bridge that gap and possibly get ahead is based on other players altruism and mistakes. Where your only real skill needed is, can you punish those mistakes. It's a dumb way to make one side of the game.
Accurate analysis 💯
Survivor mains will be like "JuSt aPpLy mOrE pReSSuRe".
-
@C3Tooth said:
Im sorry, they aim the game for Killer to have 2 to 10 hooks. Not 12.
Yeah they force the killer to just secure kills (tunnel/camp) and not go for hooks. Then survivor mains butcher killers for securing kills and not going for 12 hooks. It's a vicious cycle.
-
@Emeal said:
@Devilishly_Rowdy Its almost like maps are supposed to start in Survivor's favor, that survivors have a pallet currency they must use to survive. The Killers can then become better at wasting this currency faster for the Survivors.
Pallet kicking simulator lmao
-
@Tsulan said:
Correct. Now add perks that give survivors the power to 1vs1 the killer and you have the current meta.
I mean it's so logical. That survivor objective is so much faster than the killers. Then you have perks like DH, DS that wastes the killer's time even more. The killer is ALWAYS out of time in dbd, survivors can chill and still get their objective done.
-
@Tostapane said:
normal administration... another reason why people keep saying that the killers VIABLE in high mmr are only 2...
And even that won't last long, not long before Blight and Nurse receive nerfs too. Then high mmr will just be a bully simulator.
-
Atleast make the "insert tape" animation longer so survivors can't do it right in front of Sadako's face and get rid of condemned lol.
-
Nope. They need to make sure survivors are having a fun and jolly time looping the killer at broken loop designs.
-
@Canas said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/324737/survivor-is-becoming-unplayable-thanks-devs
CoH is still overpowered if used by smart teams/SWFs and Dead Hard pretty much makes the game unplayable for any m1 killer. Gentimes in general are far too short, all it takes is 2 people being genjockeys to finish all five of them in just 5 minutes while two other survivors waste the killer's time with broken map design, bodyblocking and nonstop DH abuse. The killer experience is downright miserable.
Accurate
-
No, survivors get enough second chances as is.
-
@GoshJosh said:
I came expecting a plea for help for survivors - especially those in solo queue. Then I remembered it’s the official DbD forums, and even what is guised as a survivor post is still killer-sided.
That's because survivors rarely need to plea for help. The devs always favour them in every way lol, since they are a majority of the player base.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
It could as well be there are not enough survivors (and too many killers).
If there are not enough survivors then why are killer queues always instant? (Less than 15 secs)

Seriously this new update matchmaking better be fixed because I hate playing killer now it's the same thing higher skill survivors over and over basically when I play killer I just suspect one thing okay so DS,Flashlights,DH,UB, a bully squad,High skill survivors. So basically matchmaking isn't good old matchmaking with its weird rainbow actually was way better then this because it's not skill no no it's Whatever the game feels like matchmaking.
High skill survivors? Pressing E isn't skill lol.
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
They said they are gonna nerf those perks but they did not forget why people needed those perks. Probably both sides will get base-kit changes. So let's just wait and see.
I always wanted nuke meta for both sides. Perks should not band-aid bad designs. They should fix issues, instead adding perks. Perks should be mediocre and fun.
Right. But i hope they're not thinking that Dead Hard needs a basekit implementation lol.
-
Goodbye survivor main. We don't need you anyways, the game's already flooding with survivor mains.
-
@GoshJosh said:
Sounds more like they broke your spirit than the game.
Oh completely, i will probably never play any multiplayer game in my life again. Those 4 tough people with discord ruined my life :(
-
I'm not saying people shouldn't be able to play with friends. I'm saying that killers should be buffed in such a way that swfs can't ridicule them like this, and make them feel powerless. The killer should be strong enough to deal with this nonsense. This is a SuRviVaL HoRrOr GaMe remember? Reading these comments it's sure survivor mains love trolling the killer, it's fun for them, but it's fun at the expense of the killer.
-
Nope, as long as survivor mains are having fun that's all that matters to the devs (cuz they buy the most skins). Killers fun does not matter and they don't give a crap about them even if they're epileptic.
-
Play killer for a month, you'll understand why it's necessary.
