The only thing I want done to his ranged attack is making zoning weaker in exchange for making it easier to actually land the shot. It works so heavily against you and the fact that pretending to use a wall-penetrating shockwave ranged attack is so vastly superior of a strat than using the attack itself really bothers me.

You can thank me in the near future when 3 gens don't go off at the beginning of a match.
You're welcome.
I’m willing to bet that once the trial warmup is implemented, the devs are going to nerf every single stall Perk into the ground to compensate.
So instead of 3 gens going off at the beginning of the match, 5 are going to go off right after.
I can’t wait.

As if.

Because it’s meant to altruistically save people on the hook but its best use is by far and long turning the person who got unhooked into a meat shield because until those 15 seconds are up, both the unhooked and the unhooker are completely invincible with this strategy. It rewards unhooking in the Killer’s face like a complete idiot. It rewards Survivors for making a stupid, reckless, suicidal misplay.

DCs are only one clue there might be something wrong. In this case, we had a Darius* problem with The Legion: low power, high annoyance. Once we did the update, DCs were only one clue that we acheived our goals. The goal was to make Legion less annoying to play against while keeping the power level the same or having it go up. It stayed the same, hence the subsequent update to give a buff to the power level.
*Darius in League of Legends was famous for having a very high ban rate, but a low win rate. This indicated that he's no fun to play against even if he's not that powerful.
You may have made Legion less broken, but he’s still very annoying to fight because of how utterly basic his entire kit is. That baseness also means that his counterplay is extremely simple, so now Legion is good at noobstomping and literally nothing else.
He’s still just as much of a Darius as he was before. I don’t know how you could possibly think otherwise.
And for the record, your stats are full of hokey. The change you implemented with the Oni patch was a nerf, not a buff.
Edit: I take it back, he’s not a Darius anymore. That implies his power level was kept roughly the same when in reality he was neutered like a dog. Now he’s a Teemo.

If we count 3 frenzy, then yes you were right. I had thought that we talk about knife hits of his m2 abilitie.
Thank you for writing this. It shows at least what I have already write above.
The people that were against the Legion couldn't even deliver evidence for what they were saying, nor they were able to learn. All what has come were either passive-aggressive comments, insults or some sort of blocking behavior.
Of course they demanded, that we pro Legion guys watch the videos of streamers, who showed the Legion with exploits or op addons. This I have also already mentioned above.
Do you know what the problem is with mains of whatever is Ramsay?
The usual nerf cry-attitude works there not, because they know about what they are talking.
I bet with you, that in the whole thread, not one guy is be able to show me a op Legion without addons video from that time against a at least standard-survivor group.
What does that mean? That the mains, who have talk about it were maybe right? Yes, that could be...
What? No, I was telling YOU to press W on your keyboard.

Definitely not whomever they're listening to right now, that’s for sure.

Not possible with a Legion without addons.
If you doubt this, search me please a video on YouTube - or any other plattform - and show me a Legion without addons, who had did this to a, at least normal survivor group.
It doesn't have to be even experts, just also not totally newbies.
In a oridnary chase, you had the chance to hit a survivor 2 times. If it was a total potato 3 times. After that they were gone, if they again not were bloody beginners.
The Legion to this time was a killer with a very short action window, if we count in the frenzy duration to this time and the abilities of the survivors to avoid being hit by whatever.
Also to get someone with 3 hits down was not possible as a Legion without addons. If you see that in a video -> look at the endscreen and you will see there addons. I promise.
Press W on your keyboard.

Some interesting stats on the subject (woo, stats) from before and after the ruin changes:
- The number of matches where all five generators are done decreased from 41% to 39%. The number of matches where only one or two generators were powered by the end of the match dropped by a similar amount, while the amount of matches where three or four generators finished increased by roughly the same amount.
- The average match length fell from 11:28 to 10:59.
- The percentage of matches where Ruin was cleansed (of the matches where Ruin was used) increased from 61.3% to 78%. The average time to cleanse also dropped.
(As always, please do not make blanket assumptions based on stats alone. We would love to share data more often, but if it gets out of hand again, we'll have to hold off.)
Do these stats mean anything?
I dunno, is Huntress a 115 Killer?

It's definitely too powerful to not be a hex, especially if you throw Surveillance into the mix. That's 200% regression as soon as you force someone off the generator and you have instant feedback to tell which generators are being worked on. Normally that's balanced by the fact that it can be destroyed, but having constant info on where everyone is and what they're doing with no way to disable it would be pretty crazy.
The fact that it’s a Hex is exactly why it’s NOT powerful.

I’d be ok with it being reverted to its original tiers: 30 seconds active with 15/20/25% regression.
The extension in time was totally unnecessary and promotes poor map control.

If people are healing against Legion in 2020 it doesn’t matter what your build is; you’re going to win.

Recently my laptop broke, and it’s currently in the shop for repairs. I decided in the absence of DBD on PC, I’d play the copy I own for my Xbox. I was rank 20 on that platform as I hadn’t played it in like a year. After a coup,e matches, I’m grateful to be rank 20 because these abysmal controls sure help me play like one.
My THIRD Survivor match, I get paired up with 3 green rank Survivors and a rank 1 Hag.
I wanted to make like my Jake and stop existing.

It's entirely possible those first two bugs are the same thing. If you hold SHIFT for even a small amount, you won't get heals for that small bit. So for instance if you hold SHIFT for half the heal, you'll only get a quarter of your Solidarity.
Solidarity works perfectly fine provided you do not hold SHIFT. It's just that you're more inclined to hold SHIFT because if you have Solidarity, you'd more likely want to heal the survivor first before they heal you. This may result in the first little bit of Solidarity not being awarded.
I can assure you, if BHVR fixes the SHIFT bug, Solidarity will work perfectly fine.
Luigifan64 is incorrect about healing speed having an effect. Any and all perks affecting direct heals DOES work with Solidarity. I have used Autodidact, Botany Knowledge, We'll Make It... No One Left Behind. These all increase healing speed and actually synergize quite nicely with Solidarity. These have no effect on your Solidarity yields, I promise you. Only holding SHIFT does.
I also do not know anything about how Solidarity affects Iron Will. I have not noticed any adverse effects.
I wasn't holding shift.

Deathbound is nice, Blood Pact is nice for solo queue but gets overshadowed by stuff like Empathy, Bond and Aftercare, Soul Guard is great for high-level ELO since the Killer either gets punished for slugging or gets punished for slugging even harder. Trail of Torment is mediocre but has potential. Everything else is a troll pick.

This is what I'm hoping for, he's actually really good but it takes a lot of practice.
So I'm going to exclusively play him like I did Spirit on release and see what progress I can make, not gonna fail a few times and ask for buffs.
Don't get me wrong, I definitely think a few small buffs here and there would make him feel much better. Removing the 100-unit cap on his trails would be nice since they're only around for a minute 15 seconds anyway, and I'd love some sort of small tweak to casting Punishment, such as being able to continue to turn my camera in the small window of time before clicking the button and the attack actually going out, or removing the whole "highlight the exact area that the wave is going to appear" nonsense. Overall, though, I don't feel him to be weak.

That's not something to celebrate; that's something to be deeply ashamed of and question your life choices over.

@whatsgoingon said:
I made this too. It got acknowledged.
So that's three bugs we're counting now. Not working when holding shift, not healing the correct amount to start with, and there's also a bug where fully healing while you have Iron Will will deactivate IW and make you give off injured sounds until you finish healing.
-
It's because he's difficult. Quite difficult. I won't hesitate to say I struggle to hit Punishments more than I struggle to hit Deathslinger shots, Demo shreds, Pig dashes, Nurse blinks, or even Huntress hatchets. And that's when I have line of sight on my enemy; adding another layer of prediction through walls literally destroys my brain. And THAT'S just the first part of his power; resourcing your trails well and knowing when to cage is even more stuff to learn.
And because he's actually difficult to learn to play, people would rather just call him bad than actually put in the effort towards playing a fully capable Killer when he gets completely overshadowed by Killers like Billy and Spirit who are so much better and so much easier.
-
I’ve gotten some pretty good use out of it, even though matchmaking keeps putting me against low rank Killers who don’t slug.
-
I think it’s an improvement on the Survivor side, as the new chase music sounds more deranged and thus gives a better feeling of horror. When playing as Pyramid Head, though, I feel it to be a downgrade, as the Killer isn’t the one meant to experience any fear. The more action-ish sound of the PTB fit the Killer’s POV better.
I think they should have done what they did with Oni and keep the PTB music exclusive to the Killer’s POV but have the new music play for Survivors. I will say I’m sad to see the PTB theme for Pyramid Head go as I thought it was very good.
-
Happened to me as well, though I didn't get any shards.
-
Should the "Undetectable" status effect prevent you from being detected?
Yes?
Then Spine Chill should be nerfed.
-
Design a really stupid Perk? Alright, I'm good at designing stupid Perks.
Forced Penance:
If a Survivor takes a hit to protect another Survivor, they are inflicted with the Broken status effect for 20/25/30 seconds.

@Luigifan64 said:
Yeah, this perk hasn't worked properly since release, which sucks because the perk already is pretty terrible on its own. But the bug stems from healing time, so the quicker you heal, the less % heal you get back. Honestly it should receive a buff of 75% conversion and actually work to be based on how much you actually heal instead of how long.
I'd be inclined to believe you if this bug didn't actually start affecting me until recently. All the times I ran Solidarity before, I self-healed for the correct amount.
Also, it happened again last night and both of the Survivors I healed took the usual 16 seconds with no speed alterations whatsoever—are you sure you're being legit with me?

It implies they have similar designs and one is executed better.
Try avoiding a hit from a Legion with Frenzy while healthy or a Spirit with Haunting while injured. Its probably not gonna happen
So the one thing they have in common is that they're extremely poorly-designed Killers?
I agree.
-
Don't compare Spirit to Legion. That implies Spirit is bad. Or that Legion is good.
Both statements are blatantly untrue.
-
And it's still a trash tier Perk in dire need of buffing.

Considering I have been at BHVR since 2013, I am late to the party. I first played Aug 2018. I was immediately struck by how hardcore the game is and the richness of its audio presentation. Try to imagine this game with half-assed voice work on the screams; it would just not be the same.
As the hours I've played have risen over 1,000, I have continued to enjoy playing it despite working on it 40 hours a week. It's great to see others like the game as well; we make the game for you.
Most of the voice acting IS half-assed.

Gonna be honest, I think this is a bad move.
First of all, they tweeted this in the middle of Pride month. That gives me HEAVY pandering vibes. Not “Dear White People” levels of pandering, but still.
Second of all, sure it’s nice to know that they put LGBT people in the game, but here’s the kicker: By canonizing existing characters’ sexualities, they run the risk of making the game LESS inclusive for some people by denying a trait they might identify a certain character with.
For example, I’m not the type of person to give one about sexuality of fictional characters, but let’s say I am. Let’s say I’m the type of person who finds the sexualities of characters to be a really big deal. I really, really like Jake. Like, I’m a huge, HUGE fan of Jake. I’m also bi. It makes sense that I, a massive Jake fan, would personally view Jake as bi for the simple purpose of making him more relatable, right? But let’s say BHVR releases a Tome for Jake that confirms him as straight. Suddenly I was just denied a major way of relating to this character I love to pieces.
See how that’s a double-edged sword? By sticking a character into a certain group to make your game more “diverse” you risk people of other groups who wish to identify with that character being able to do so. It’s a dice roll for these people, especially when it comes to real unfortunate scenarios like all the characters they like being non-LGBT and the one character they really hate or don’t care about being the only person in-game who reflects their orientation.
You canonize sexualities too much, and suddenly a lot of characters become less relatable for a lot of people. It’s really not as good a move as people would like to think.

We'll Make It and Solidarity. If you unhook someone while injured, you can heal each other in half the time. And then, of course, now you have 90 seconds of double healing speed which you can use to heal yourself at normal speed while you're healing someone else. I've actually not only been able to save a good deal of time with this combo, but also pull of the legendary stunt of fully self-healing with Solidarity quite often.
-
Another nerf to Ruin, another second chance for Survivors to use when they already have like fifty.
Don't care if it's situational or not, it's godawful game design and will only cause strife.
-

Imagine getting MoM to finally trigger and it gets wasted in that situation though 😂
It's a coin-flip, as is Trapper's entire existence. I have been on both the Survivor and Killer end of escaping just at the right moment that the extra hit saves the Survivor from certain doom.

Which wasn't the point, @JPLongstreet was clearly referencing the fact that Plague can leave survivors Broken.
Which allows her to accomplish the exact same soft-counter as Exposed Killers.
So yes, she counters Mettle, even if she doesn’t counter it as hard as Legion.

Nope. Broken is not a health state, it's a status effect.
Still, being on a one-hit down is gonna make it way harder to get three protection hits before you're dead on hook.
