Sorry nobody finds it fun to sit on the ground bleeding out for 5 minutes.
I don't find it fun either, but I hate it even more when teammates just DC the moment they get downed either early in the match or realizing they are facing against certain killers, perks and addons they dislike.
-
The final Legion update will remove them from the game.

As the title says. Like perks, this information could be shown to everybody after the match.
This way killers could see whether they have indeed played against a 4-men SWF or whether it was just a group of good solos players. Also interesting for solo survivors.
I actually would like that, that way if I run into them again I could easily switch to certain loadouts
-
NOED is fine where it is, they should adjust most maps and buff weaker killers instead.
-
It doesn't matter, many survivors will make any excuse or lash out if they dislike the match, dc, and/or die. Just ignore the chat.

Sorry, but no. He is not OP. He's very easily conterable. Static Blast can be negated completly by either getting out of the TR, hiding in a locker, even if the animation is playing, the blast doesn't connect, or run Calm Spirit. Don't get greedy on pallets/loops since he can easily catch you out on them. Practice more against him before crying OP Killer. This is why the game has become EZ Game for survivors!
He's probably another new survivor catered to by the devs.
-
It used to be get 4 kills to get Adept Killer achievements, I'm not sure why they made it harder despite certain killers like Plague making it hard to get their Adept achievement.

Being slugged sucks for survivors, and isn't fun, and unbreakable is a one time use to counter it. Your comment tells me that you're probably one of those self-absorbed players.
It's not selfish to try to get 4K by slugging, and why should we care only about the survivor's fun?

But this is where people need to have some tact and decorum, read into the OP message and sympathise that they’re having a hard time because they’re obviously new, and provide HELPFUL and ENCOURAGING advice.
We want to grow this community.
Not have newer players come here, read responses and think “what a bunch of arseholes!” and never come back to the forums ever again.
We have sympathized with the OP, but he keeps saying that the doctor is OP/broken despite the advice given. Unfortunately this these are people the devs want to cater to which means finding ways to hold their hand at the expense of higher ranks. The last thing other survivors who play solo want is to be paired up with another survivor who doesn't want to adapt and DC the moment they get downed fast or figure out they are facing a killer they hate going up against.

I’m not agreeing to his statement that doctor needs a nerf/rework, just that we shouldn’t belittle them
They're not belittling them, he's literally asking for a nerf because he does not know how to counter the doctor, the last thing we need is for them to start nerfing more killers because newbies don't know how to deal with them.
-
Get over it, they told killers to adapt so they choose to slug since it's the best way to apply pressure and can get 4K. Not to mention survivors can use unbreakable and flip flop if necessary.
-
Honestly, I don't play nice even before the ruin change. I prefer to use slugging perks such as Knockout, Infectious fright, hex: The third seal, and deerstalker (due to broken sounds). I occasionally use NOED as well.
For Huntress I use Corrupt Intervention, Nurse's Calling, Iron Maiden, Shadowborn, Thrilling Tremors, and BBQ and Chilli. Iridescent Heads are used every 1/5 matches along with Infantry Belts.
-
Devs said facecamping is a strategy and not bannable for that reason. Just move on to the next game.

Drop pallets early, stop going for stuns, and dodge his shock attacks. Boom, you just outplayed and probably escaped a Doctor.
It's your ability that needs improvement, not the killer that needs nerfing. Using calm spirit, going into lockers, all these suggestions people are giving, they are legitimate counterplays. If you choose, willingly, not to adapt, that's your own fault and DBD isn't the game for you.
Except that they keep changing things to appeal to new survivors. I guarantee you if they drop another killer that was completely different similar to old freddy and stomped new newbies like him they would nerf that killer into the ground.

I think I'll try billy. Thank you. How often would you say bubba gets more than 1 down at a time? Like 1 out of 10 games?
It's usually against low ranking players it happens due to massive altruistic mistakes, it won't happen against good survivors.

@BulletsNonstop said:
my vote is to weaken Doctor. Anything that gets a survivors position revealed that isn’t the survivors fault shouldn’t be in the game. Regardless of 1 perk that counters it, that’s just not enough. Wraith shouldn’t be invisible and heartbeats should ALWAYS be a thing. If you tamper with that you really ruin what hide and go seek is all about. The killer doesn’t always need to find someone particularly because ones life is extremely valuable being that upon 2nd hook, one dies immediately. Give survivors more of a chance. I really believe killers are frequently too efficient. I am aware of perks that counter certain killer abilities. But it is not enough for how people that play the killer behave.
Learn counterplay instead of wanting nerfs to killers you don't know how to deal with.
-
Play Huntress and use Iri Heads, they'll DC if more at least 2 of them are downed.
-
Just slug the survivors when you find them and let them bleed out to death.

Would you reccomend billy over bubba by far?
Billy is far better than Bubba and one of the top killers. Bubba can down more than one survivor at a time, but the survivors would have to make some really stupid mistakes for that happening.
Billy has great mobility when using the chainsaw and can sprint double the speed across the map and down a survivor if it hits although it can take a few matches to get used to steering.
-
Because BHVR is rarely transparent.
-
I used nurse a lot, even before her nerf without her OP addons. I just don't find her fun anymore. not to mention the numerous bugs and glitches that have ruined my fun with her: the auto basement blinks, deadzones, and blinks not working. While a few of them have been gone, I still experience a few of them often. Also playing nurse on console is a chore with terrible precision and horrible framerate.
I agree that her awful OP addons needed to go, but slapping a cooldown on top of fatigue was not necessary especially since she's add-on dependent now when a survivor can just hold W and run in a straight line when both her blinks are used.
-
Learn to adapt and stop whining about a particular killer.
-
I love using bubba and camping with him.
-
I prefer to slug and proxy camp on my builds.
-

Doc isn't OP, Doc is just new.
The worst thing we can do is nerf something that is obviously new and people need time to adjust to it.
That didn't stop them with Freddy when he first came out and look what happened to him 2 weeks later.
-
We use NOED and slugging perks.
-
If you want a late game perk Devour Hope is superior or just use NOED if case all gens get done.
-
I prefer playing like a scumbag and dealing with the salty comments post match, it's much funner playing dirty.

Sounds like something a killer main would say
Nope, many killers expect it anyway and just slug.
-
That's what you get for relying on a crutch perk.
-
I noticed it yesterday along with Freddy's dream snare delay. Every patch brings another major bug.
-
You adapted without ruin, they should have expect this.
-
A perk used for slugging, we're adapting after all.
-
Just use a slugging build.
-
Slugging the survivors counters gen rushing, they can't do gens in a dying state.
-
The only thing that needs to be fixed is his big guy reveal mechanic, he's fine as he is and survivors need to be aware of their surroundings when playing against him.
-
You shouldn't rely on that crutch perk anyway.
-
Sounds like the killers are adapting.
-
Slugging and camping have become more common along with bird and blood warden. I had to drop hag and freddy because of their new bugs. So I mostly use Oni and Billy with perks good for slugging since CI and Ruin aren't worth anything.
-
Start lobby dodging.
-
I prefer Chainsaw Bubba. Nemesis, PWYF, Knock out, and Dark Devotion. Great for slugging.
-
Hag also can't attack directly after teleporting. All these "bugs" seriously need working out.

Self Care is better than before?
Exhaustion perks are better than before?
I never knew those perks were buffed back to full strength again.
Many people still use Self Care and nearly every purple/red rank survivor uses an exhaustion perk. The only perk that doesn't see much use after being nerfed was Mettle of Man and people agreed it was BS.
-
Nurse is plagued by not only a cool down and mostly garbage add-ons but with dead zones that have not been fixed on many maps.

What's wrong with Hag?
Hag can't attack immediately out of teleportation right now.
-
Because madness is a joke and doesn't cause exhaustion and makes lockers more effective against doc.
-
Honestly since Oni has a 90 degree flick, I mostly use him now and a pure slugging build.
-
The killer meta changed, so people are moving to NOED and other end game perks, just cleanse all tokens if possible.
-

Then use an offering or Iron or Agitation. That’ll help you! You’re welcome :)
If I wanted to use Iron Grasp or Agitation I would use a basement build, besides we can't predict which map we are going to be sent to.
-
Better slug then, it's what I did.
