Β Killer Convict Perks:
Wicked Game: Pressing the active ability on a regressing gen causes the next 1/2/3 people to touch that gen to lose a health state (does not inflict dying and only applies to one gen). Takes 1 second to apply.
Salt: Survivors in the dying state bleed out 30 secs/45 secs/ 1 minute faster.
Hard Luck: Survivors Luck is reduced by 50%
Survivor Convict Perks:
Bully : stunning a killer causes a 150% speed boost for 3 secs. Causes the exhaustation status effect for 60/50/40 secs.
Take a beating: being both exhausted and injured hides your scratch marks for 10 secs.
Shy: stunning a killer hides all aura reading abilities for 10 secs

How would you change Game?

I think hed be a great addition, certainly better than Candyman

Id run it for the memes lol

Spirit and hag for jump scares. Spirits the only one i dont know how to counter so im in general more cautious in those games.
I mained trapper for quite a bit so i know where to look and rarely step in one
-
Interesting, but what about like a corn map, what if theres nothing for the survivor to collide with.
Also, if the survivor gets knocked into another survivor do they both lose a health state? Cause that would be dope af
-
They have to give him more mobility.
I really like tge idea of either a tricycle that moves fast like billys chainsaw, or he can preset 3 gens for him to pop out of later like a jack in the box.
-
Yeah we all agreed it was a bad idea because tge meta would quickly become hag with billys chainsaw @EpicBigBrain

it doesn't remove the pressure if you just get immediately downed again tho
Thats why you have to use it smart and not unhook yourself in the killers face like youre trying to do. You want unhook yourself in the killers face as soon as he hooks you, eat a built in bt and then use your ds if he picks you up (which he probably will because doing all that deserves a tunnel). So it probably took him 30 secs the first time and youve now extended that 1 chase into AT LEAST 45 to 50 secs. And thats without him eating the ds. Which means those other 3 survivors have already finished a gen if they were working together, if they werent working on 3 seperate gens then 2 are going to pop by the time he gets to the next person and initiates chase.
I would uninstall this game if they did this. Not playing.

I would agree with that however most smart killers would expect the ds.
I hear that, but you literally unhooked yourself, that removes any pressure tge killer was trying to make. Thats why it comes with a broken status because its a big deal

Never ever are the fake pallets stronger than the snares.
Fake pallets are kind of map reliant.
They have much more counterplay than snares have thus making them far less consistent.
What a lot of people miss is you can put pallets down anywhere a pallet could possibly spawn, not just replace tge pallets that did spawn. So what map it is doesnt matter as much as somethink

God no, Snares are by far weaker than Pallets. I don't want to face a Freddy with Pallets all the time, I'd rather face him purely with Snares.
Youre the first person ive ever seen say that. I prefer them too, but they require set up and dont do much till mid game, unless youre a little lucky of course

I mean, most stealth killers and legion have an easy time getting that first hit.
So why couldn't freddy be the reverse of that?
First hit is harder but the second one would be easier (And that only applies to survivors that managed to stay awake up until the chase starts). He would then have to actually work for his power like all the other killers have to aswell.
It wouldn't be unnecessary because there are survivors that are good at avoiding getting hit.
Idk, maybe
-
@EpicBigBrain said:
Do you guys agree with this??
No, its perfect the way it is, why buff it? Youre already getting to unhook yourself. Just run ds and bt with it.

Why would you be against making his sleep timer stop in a chase?
Wouldn't you agree that it's quite unfair that a survivor will fall asleep mid chase even if he failed skill checks before/got help from teammates/went to clocks and freddy didn't hit him?
Because when the survivors not asleep hes an m1 killer straight up, which is useless in this game at the current rates. Im not exactly against it, it just seems unnecessary as that first hit usually happens pretty quick anyway
-
I posted this in another thread, it applies here too:
One survivor can do all 5 gens in 400 secs. That's 6.6 minutes. So lets say 7 and a half minutes for time to run in between gens (450 secs). The time only goes down from there as 2 survivors working on gens cuts that time in half.
The killer by contrast has to get 12 hooks, thats 24 stabs assuming nobody heals. That means the killer has to stab someone every 19 seconds, and that time includes having to hook and find the next stab.
This is mathmatically impossible for the killer to get a 4k unless the survivors do something very stupid. The reason billy and nuse do so well is because theyre able to end chases very very quicly when a good killer uses them and their average stab rate is probably well below that 19 secs. Freddy only does so well cause hes able to teleport across the map and his stab rate is slightly lower than 19 between the snares and the teleporting.
So yes, unless youre running a really good killer character, this game is absolutely survivor sided still.
That doesnt mean they should balance around killers getting a 4k every game because that would be stupid, but increasing that 19 to something closer to 25 or 30 would be more fair.
Thats why ruin worked so well. It increased that 450 secs, and its why playing killer is so much more stressful. Youre under a serious time crunch

I would say make his passive sleep timer stop in a chase to reward survivors that managed to keep themself awake up until that point and he would be fine.
AT MOST make his dream pallets base and snares add ons, i can see that since snares are stronger.

@Nazeef13 said:
Usually means lack of interaction/chases, and more having to spend time on gens, mending, healing etc.
Think legion. He will get his almost free frenzy hit then move on. No real chase. No you have to mend, then get back on the gen. When he eventually downs someone, he will do the same thing. Frenzy 2 people and run away, then try to down the third.
Very boring. And yet legion is pretty easy to "bully".
Slow down Freddy, usually means when there are one or two gens left Freddy will spend more time kicking gens and regressing gen progress then committing to chases.
Right, so playing smart is boring. This is what i meant in that other thread.
I also think it proves the other point that this game NEEDS secondary objectives. Something else for the survivors to do other than hold m1 that also slows the match speed up a bit

I mean, I'm running a PERKLESS Bubba, against teams that run the usual meta builds. How is it not satisfying winning with one of the worst killers in game?
His chainsaw needs work. Maybe give it different swing types and timings depending on how long you charge it up?
Yeah but teams throwing themselves into your chainsaw doesnt mean he doesnt need serious work, I get what youre saying on satisfaction it would just be more satisfying to beat them without them doing that.
Yeah his slowdown is to much and charge time is to long, and his tantrum is WAY to long, like stupid long.
He also has 0 map pressure, outside of cutting his charge by a quarter i dont know how you fix his map pressure.
Then theres the little swing at the end that just doesnt count.
You cant make him teleport across the map so the only solution is stupid fast downs, and right now even with a one shot thats not a thing
-
Theres nothing wrong with him as he is now, just miss a skill check if youre that concerned with it
-
@Rivyn said:
I don't think he needs a buff. He needs a rework of sorts.
With that said, I run Bubba perkless, as a way to work off the red rank sweat. The amount of games I've won, simply because these red ranked survivors throw the match in order to get one save. . . man, that's satisfying.
Its satisfying to win when survivors do really stupid things? He needs a lot of work. Hes awful against a team thats even mediocre
-
Hes just flat awful. Been playing with him this adternoon, not ######### you can do

It's annoying since we can't tell what rank our opponent is. The toxic swfs are annoying but that's why I hate it when a swf does something nice and people are just ignore it. It's like people don't want to think a swf can do something nice.
I do miss being able to see ranks. If i know the survivors are all purple, or worse all rank 20s, i could take it easier on them. No reason survivors shouldnt see killers rank too. But tgen i guess tge flip side of that is some would see it as an opportubity to be really mean unnecessarily

To me there seems to be more of a balance going against killers, a lot of variety going on, i am not going game after game against a billy lol anyone else feel like this?
Yeah because the game got a touch better with the last patch. Hopefully they do a little more with the weaker killers and add secondary objectives. That would cover it i think.

@Dreamnomad said:
The OP makes a pretty fair argument. They just need to end the bloodpoint disparity between time spent playing as a survivor vs a killer.
I dont think it is a fair argument. It costs more bps to play as killer. You can go into a match as survivor with no items od add ons and do just fine, with most killers thats the opposite of true. So you have to get those bps back to make profit
-
I think its a great idea. That perk needs something for sure

You honestly can't expect everyone to learn the same way.
Some people are naturally more sensitive than others, it's easier for them to lose their cool even when they do grow up, preventing it from happening is much better than letting it happen and expect them to learn a lesson.
I dont expect everyone to learn the same way, thats why i said their parents need to step in and help them if they didnt learn.
And i just simply disagree.

There is a way to help someone grow thicker skin while being constructive about it. To bully them into submission only further develops mental problems later down the line.
If they get bullied into submission they didnt learn the lesson and their parents should step in and help them

Can someone tell me why the fact that bullies exist in real life that we should just let them skirt by? That their victims should just grow "Thicker Skin"?
I guess that's what they would say to abuse victims to, huh?
Because depending on the level of bullying, sometimes they do need to just grow thicker skin. Beating the crap out of people that wanted to bully me in school taught me a valuable lesson, as it does most people ghat fight back. And that lesson is im not a victim and not taking someone elses #########. So yeah, unless were talking very very serious bullying, people do need to grow thicker skin

As much as someone may say 'accept it'... I ask why?
Were more killers made because of it? Does it make anyone happier? Does it make anyone unhappy? And most importantly, how does it impact behaviour in the game?
I'd argue no significant change to amount of killers and survivors were made, no one was made happy by it because it didn't reduce impact of items, only the amount of uses... Maybe excluding med-kits but they already have perks that are better than them.
As for the other points it makes survivors unhappy and more importantly confuses them, taking away form a victory for a newer player.
Veteran players on the other hand will likely be less eagle-eyed for items and instead just play with the killer, making most newer killers have a bad experience.
Therefore new players will stay with this game in my opinion, and that's a bad thing for a game I've sank over 1300 hours into~
The impact to the game is you may get to keep that purple flashlight but you dont get to keep that pink bulb in it.

Sorry chief, I don't see NOED being a counter or "punishment" as you described it for gen rushing. Contrary to your belief, I think it rewards bad play and punishes a good developed game by the survivors. I don't think you understand why people hate NOED. Not so much that they're oblivious, but that it unfairly punishes a good survivor game.
If a game pushes you to cleanse 5 totems just for an end-game perk, that's poor game design. Why? Because it removes you from the main objective.
Wouldnt a good survivor game include breaking totems knowing noed is a possibility π€

While I was reading yet another NOED thread an idea popped into my head. There has been talk for a long while about solo getting the bone when it comes to how many bones are left vs swf. Just slapping a counter in the hud would be boring and just lazy. What if there was an in game counter, say in the killer shack perhaps that shows how many are left. It could be something like the game logo hauntingly lit up on the wall. Every time a totem gets done one of the slashes quits glowing. What do you guys think? Fair compromise without just blatantly handing out info in the hud or ridiculous idea not even worth the effort?
Thats an interesting idea, i like the idea of it being tied to small game somehow

You can't speak for all Killers, you can only speak for yourself. Some killers play just to be toxic rather than a 4k. Besides, I run Plunderers and find keys in almost every other match.
I didnt say all, i said 99%. Youre assuming its way more than it actually is and I know this because ive had survivors try and tell my i care when i dont.

If the Killer brought in a red mori and tunneled everyone after first hook, they obviously do. Especially if the hook the second to last survivor in order to find the last survivor with BBQ. It may not bother you, but I am sure others get tilted that they had to wait.
No. If the killer brought a mori and morid them off first hook he wants a 4k...which he still got π

It happens very rarely and i would call that 3-genning. If you dont play that way, then idk why you feel offended about my statement that its boring. Because i only mean these guys whose main strategy is 3-genning. Pick 3 gens, make sure they dont get done.
If you have other plans in the early game and maybe check for a potential 3-gen setup after a few gens and hooks are done, that is not 3-genning to me but normal gameplay.
π€¦ββοΈ i give up. Later after youve had some coffee or something go back and read everything Ive said. Im not going to keep repeating myself.

Huh? Thats not true, gen rush is how fast the gens get done, not how many escape at the end. I had time for 5 pretty short chases and the gens were done, 6th chase ended as the other two left.

Yes, you die by the entity either way, but denying the Killer their points and wasting their time is the goal here. They want to waste the Survivors time by bringing in a red mori and killing them after first hook, I do the same for them, I waste their time by making them look for me.
...and then you still die. Nobody cares how that happens ππππ
