We don't even know if either Survivor or Killer is going to be LGBT. Where did this LGBT theory come from, anyway?
-
Why are you all fighting and complaining when Behavior hasn't released anything concrete about the Survivor and Killer?

90% bet it's a female killer too, so it'd be another 110 female killer. Plague is the only 115 killer that's female (unless you count Charlotte, but I personally don't, she's Charlotte after all).
I'm not raising a sexism issue rather than I'm raising that all the female killers aesthetics are much better and I want to be cool AND speedy
Pig is a 115% female killer

Oh boy here we go.
So the Divergance teaser was about there being multiple timelines, with different versions of the characters in different worlds, right? So what if this is the same character, just one from one world where they're a survivor and one from another where they're the killer?!
Am i thinking too much into this? 100%
I think you got it. That explains why in their profile picture there's a heavy contrast between pink and blue, indicating a split personality. The butterfly imagery is the cherry on top.
-
It's clear a lot of people enjoy role-playing as Ms. Piggy.
-
Change your title to "New Survivor MIGHT be transgender". Paulie Esther already covered this, it's more likely to be a bisexual character.

That's fair enough, yeah.
I am still worried about the Killer though. Normally, they focus so heavily on the Killer since, you know, they bring the most new content. A new power, new perks, whereas survivor only brings perks, and a new screaming voice.
If they're not showing the killer, I'm thinking that; A, the killer isn't noteworthy and they'd rather focus on the Survivor for once, or B, and this is a real big maybe, this survivor brings something new to the gameplay of all survivors. Maybe a new item, or something new to interact with.
Or, and this is the most likely, I'm just being incredibly impatient and need to slow my brain down.
Dance animations/emotes for Survivors finally?!!!!

The clues that BHR have shown so far have very little to do with FNAF, please stop reaching.

I think the killer is a hacker or something along those lines.
The survivor is likely some k-pop singer or something like you have said, and the killer is some hacker who stalks media celebrities and kills them or some weird thing like that.
II1 could mean a hyperfinite type II factor where as "M" is a II1 factor. So I've been guessing that is either tied to the Magnum Opus name, and less being used as a term for a literal meaning, and more as an alias of some hacker or such who is pretty high up there and possibly owns the company that said K-pop star is working for, what better way to achieve their ultimate end goal?
Dam, I think you hit the nail on the head. Really seems plausible judging by all the evidence.

You can't see much extra but I tried brightening up the image, you can just see the lips slightly better, confirming that they are female or feminine
Idk about you, but is there a mustache above the upper lip?
-
Is it just me or does that face have a mustache?
-
The creator of FNAF himself stated that he wouldn't be doing any collabs this year so FNAF is off the list. It could be The Ring chapter considering there's a lot of focus on static and TV/Computer screens. Most likely original tho.
-
The biggest strength of Dead Hard is that you can use it on command very easily. Sprint Burst, Balanced Landing, and Lithe all have strict activation requirements. Dead Hard, you can use anywhere at anytime as long as you are injured. I feel if they did nerf it, I'd take take your suggestion but reduce the time to 1.5-2 secs of not interacting with windows/pallets. It's still useable but now Survivors have to time it properly.

Outfit combinations are one thing but man, they really need to shrink her neck!
-
I used to main Meg/Claudette but I switched to Cheryl.
As for killer, I always found Huntress the most enjoyable to play so I main her.

Really cool perk personalities, everyone!

You really think so? Capcom also announced a multiplayer Resident Evil game called "RE: Verse". I extremely doubt Capcom will want to license their IP out during that time.

OMFG @CuteTrash dude you nailed it with
"This feeds a fantasy of child abuse, where people have straight up said that they can take out their frustrations for children in this game now, and I shouldn't have to take part in it when playing against this killer. Dead by Daylight intended for it to be one thing, and it conveys something else that is morally wrong. It always baffles me how many people in the community are rooting for this sort of thing, I guess these are the type of people that are all for abortion."
gg
Are you forgetting the fact that you torture, murder, and mutilate people in this game? Why aren't you complaining about, surely it's morally wrong to do that to anyone?
-
OP is the type of person who would bring a pitchfork to kill a roach and yet complains about "baby kicking" a monstrous creature.
-
The Revenant
-
Pretty much only solo for me.
-
Assuming the killer is original, I think the next killer is going to look like a Spirit and Hag hybrid. Most likely based off of a Wendigo. Though I do have a dreading feeling that this is going to be another "I run fast!" killer.
-
Player: *loses a match*
Player:*Rages and goes to the forums to vent*
Player: "Guys, this game is dying..."
-
I feel this is going to be an original character. Most likely either a wendigo type creature or maybe a monstrous vampire.
-
It's common courtesy to say "gg" after the losing team says "gg" first, especially if it's a one-sided game. If the victor says the phrase first it makes it sound like they're gloating and shoving their victory on your face. There's a reason why in competitive games saying gg first from the winning side is considered bad manner and is against good etiquette.
-
I find it interesting how it's always Plague that gets bugged. Sucks for the Plague mains tho.
-
I agree, I think these blueprints should only be available during this chapter.
-
When she's standing still near you, it's most likely she's faking it. Try to make as much distance as possible away from her while walking in the opposite direction. If you're in a chase and you know for a fact that she's phasing, then keep running then immediately start walking in a direction that she least expects, whether it's back through the direction you ran from (ie. running through your own scratch marks) or walking to another safer area that has pallets/windows. During these situations, it's important that you run Iron Will and/or Spine Chill since they both give good counters to Spirit's Phase. That's why I always run the 2, they're pretty much great against every killer.
-
From the many games that I've played, I feel PGTW, Corrupt Intervention, Tinkerer, and BBQ are the best. Yes, I know there are 2 perks that require hooks and feels counter-intuitive to PH's power. But there were many occasions where Pop and BBQ helped slow down the game tremendously. After you hook a Survivor for the first time, you can use BBQ to track the next survivor or go to a gen to Pop it. When you down a survivor for the second time, that's when cage of atonement comes in handy. Tinkerer helps lead you to a gen that you need to pressure and also lets you use Punishment to attack the Survivors unexpectedly giving you that early edge in a chase. Overall I'd say it's really good.
-
You're maybe right, but I think people are just connecting the dots ( a human transforming into a beast like creature) and just assuming it's a werewolf. Though admittedly, I have to say the silhouette does look like a werewolf and not really "plant like" as you say.
-
Are you angry because people disagree with Springtrap in the general DISCUSSIONS thread? Where, you know, people post their individual thoughts and opinions? You need to calm down with these repetitive and relentless "FNAF Springtrap" posts.

Maybe, mistakes shouldn't be as punished as they do now, and a good fix to this is reducing the map sizes, so if 3 gen pop it isn't a game over.
But as I said survivors have more room for mistakes cause they're 4 and can help each other (Trading hooks, bodyblocking, getting the killer attention etc)
Agreed about map size. But against SWAT SWF Survivor teams, Killers can't really do anything in that position even if they do make many mistakes.
-
@Mikeyboi12 said:
And nothing is wrong with that.
THAT'S the reason why there's 4 survivor, so they can help each other to fix their mistakes, this is a Co-Op game, killers are only 1.
What do you try to accomplish with this? To get survivors nerfed? (again?)
Not calling for Survivor nerfs. What I am saying is there needs to be better leniency for the Killers side.
-
Overall, I have to say it's a good start with the character introductions. But man, when it started to actually get interesting it ends rather anticlimactically.
-
So the number of kills don't really matter to you?
@AngeloMerte said:
0 kills = killer lost / survivors won
1 kill = killer lost / survivors won
2 kills = draw /both won/both lost
3 kills = killer won / survivors lost
4 kills = killer won / survivors lost
Pretty much the standard way of looking at it.

@Todgeweiht said:
Camping until struggle phase is a horrible idea. If I am not mistaken it takes one and a half minutes for survivors to reach that stage, by that time survivors can pop all gens if they play their cards right and are not potatoes that stand near the survivor hooked.
No, each stage (first hook and struggle phase) are both 60 seconds.
-
@Dead_by_Gadfly said:
Eh, camping that first survivor for a whole minute seems like a waste of time. If the otger 3 are smart theyre working gens and can have 3 close to done. After that youre whole plans out the window.
You're right, it would leave only 2 gens left. But most of the the games I've played where that happened, killing that one survivor early on still gave me the chance to come back because of 3 gen situation (due to Corrupt Intervention) or they simply played too altruistically.
-
@DBD_Noobinoob said:
I think this idea is one of many that are effective to counter gen rush and to make up for the lack of map and gen control many killers have. Unfortunately, I am a way too nice killer and always try to go for the 16 hooks to not make any survivor feel bad (which mostly results in me feeling bad because I get teabagged and made fun of, oh well). So the fairest way is also the worst way to play for killers, therefore your idea is much smarter in terms of winning games. In the end, everybody has to decide for themselves what priorities they have.
Thanks for commenting, yes I know this method can be seen as scummy by many Survivors. But in the times where getting gen rushed in 3 minutes is possible, this strategy certainly isn't bad. Glad you find some value in this strategy.
-
This wouldn't really be an issue if BHR decided to buff WGLF since it's the survivor equivalent of BBQ.

@PrettyFaceKate said:
I'd love that. There are lesser games that have many more QoL features, we don't even have a decent tutorial or a practice mode.
Yup I agree.

As I've said previously on this forum, I would love a replay system...it would be a great help for players and for our ACM's who are the ones that deal with player reports. A replay system could really help them out - save people having to record as well.
Thank you for the response, it would definitely be impactful. Hopefully that feature can be added soon.
-
@Throwaway123 said:
It would help a lot to have a replay system, you can also stream your gameplay and review that, but a legit replay system where you can swap views between players would be great to have an idea of what happened and where things could've gone wrong.
Yeah I know about streaming, but it'd be much easier if BHR integrated it themselves

Well, actual evidence seems to claim otherwise.
https://www.change.org/p/springtrap-from-five-nights-at-freddy-s-3-in-dead-by-daylight
In somewhere around 2 weeks, it got over 36,000 signatures and is continuing to climb at a pretty steady rate. It's quickly on its way to surpassing the average active player count for the game. You can pretend you're right and everybody thinks what you think and anything else can't possibly be true, but reality isn't going to conform to your self centered delusions.
And how many of those "36,000" signatures are composed of consistent players as opposed to random FNAF fans coming out of the woodworks to support their franchise?
-
Why FNAF? There are so many other horror game franchises that would fit better with maintaining that dark and grim atmosphere. And yes, FNAF may have some of that but aesthetically, I don't think it can work.
-
I'm very surprised by these responses. You would think the same people who care about LGBT representation would also care about Male/female balance.

So, if dressing in drag fits with the backstory/lore of a new character, which was asked for in the OP...?
I mean if BHR wants to add a new Drag Queen survivor or whatever into DBD, yeah sure go ahead it's their game. I was talking about Drag skins to existing characters since I feel OP kinda implied it. That and few posters here are talking about giving existing survivors these skins.

Why not? Did you not see Dwelf? Skins have been over-the-top for quite a while now.
Except Dwelf still works since Dwight is supposed to be that "lonely kid with no support" stereotype, hence why he wears that outfit to earn money.
Same applies to Elephant Clown ( he's disguised as a funny mascot to lure people) and Pilot Ace ( Ace being all tryhard and hip, trying to make himself look cool.

Pretty Lady Bubba is a real thing, look it up. Then look up The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Then come back and say that again with a straight face.
Yes I know about Bubba's Lady skin so that works. All I'm saying is that bhr shouldn't go too overboard.
