Well the survivor music is 10/10. As long as no tracks are replaced I’m ok with it. But I’d like some sinister tracks to play for the killer. I think that’s why Myers is so enjoyable to play.HatCreature said:@DarkWo1f997 said:

I can totally agree with the Survivor having better chase music, I'm mostly just trying to say we need more music, scarier tense music.

These two things cannot exist without the other. Fun is fair, fair is competitive.

That’s the idea, but the thing is, at 110% speed, it can take a long time.powerbats said:@Wolf74 said:

Can we at least have survivors punished if they don’t heal against the legion?

Why doesn’t the bleed timer start at 50% every time deep wounds is inflicted until that survivor heals all the way from injured?
-
Well that’s all fine and dandy sir, but the problem is, there isn’t at least 1/3 chance for it to actually down them if you aren’t staring at the ground, following the scratch marks and waiting for them to try to mend so you can hit them.Janick said:@Wolf74 said:

I guess it’s almost guaranteed then but still it’s not fun for the survivor.
in your opinion, can the power be relied upon to have a fair chance to get downs on survivors?
EDIT: not being sarcastic I’m genuinely curious to know how effective the power is. I don’t want it to be guaranteed downs, but it shouldn’t be rare either. Do you guys feel you’ve hit that sweetspot in between? -

I should change my name to “ObviousClaudetteBaitTears” He is pretty powerful already though, being able to ignore survivor defenses is pretty strong. Devs already said they don't want to change movement speed and this would just make him an M1 killer. He should rely on his power to get the downs. Also what does my name have to do with this?
Well his power doesn’t even give a 40% chance of a down like it should. I just need that timer to be a little shorter, mending is already easy and quick and progression is saved on the bar. While mending should be longer, I think the timer should go down during a chase but like really slow and when out of a chase it goes down at a normal or faster speed
That would be nice. But I’d really like it if I could hit them, move on to the next target, and have like a 40% chance to down them.
It seems the devs wanted his play style to be like a hit and run kind of killer. But right now he gains no reward from actually hitting all 4 survivors or moving onto the next target. What if for every new target you hit every survivor that already has deep wounds applied will have their timer decreased by 25% (might be affected by addons idk)
Oh! What if it behaved similar to thanatophobia! The more survivors that are effected by deep wounds, the faster the timer!
That would be a great buff!!! Maybe mending could be affected by Thanataphobia as well? Not sloppy or Nurses though as devs already said they didn't want those to affect mending but thanataphobia's numbers are pretty low so they would help out a bit

If the power had a decent chance at downing a survivor when I turned my back to them I’d be 100% fine. But the thing is, at rank 1, no one will go down from the power.
I wish mending had moderately difficult skillchecks or something. It feels like right now, like pig’s beartraps coming off at any and every box on the first try no matter what.

It gets really tiring really quickly and patience is worn thin and broken. It’s irritating how many survivor one tricks think they know what’s best for killer balance, and it’s the same with the other way around.
Being assertive is the only way to keep things in check. -

I think this is a result of overthinking and overlooking. He’s gone through a lot of changes pre-PTB apparently.Boss said:@redsopine01 said:
Boss said:On a side note: Is this confirmed an exploit? Or was this an exaggeration to lure in readers?
Currently it's the new ptb gimmick against the legion were he can't kill you with his power and if your hit twice it's a double stun so they never heal and stand right behind him mending as he looks for others
Hmm, sounds more like the devs just didn't think it through.

I think automatic regression should be present on everything that isn’t self heal or gens. Regression needs to be a thing for mend though.will_i_am_14_85 said:@XxAtomicAlfiexX said:

An exploit is taking advantage of something that wasn’t intended. In other words, they are exploiting a design flaw to game breaking levels ultimately putting deep wounds in a not so promising state.Boss said:On a side note: Is this confirmed an exploit? Or was this an exaggeration to lure in readers?
so they are exploiting something that is flawed, to benefit from it. It’s not their fault, the game doesn’t tell us what is and isn’t intended for survivor/killer interaction. Not until the ban waves start rolling out anyways. -
They would have to be careful not to place them too close together then. Because if they are, no one is getting those gates open.XxAtomicAlfiexX said:@Justicar said:
Here's the changes I would make:- 1 Exit Gate, 1 Hatch
- When all gens are powered, both activate and can be opened.
- When all gens are powered, the exit gate is shown to both the survivors and the killer. The hatch is not.
- Both the gen and the hatch can be opened at the same progression rate.
- The hatch does not make its normal sound until it has been fully opened.
- If there is only one survivor remaining, the hatch can be opened by that survivor if found regardless of how many gens have been done.
Thoughts?
i think 2 exit gates are good but they should always be on the same side and the hatch is good as it is. also i still believe in my points from earlier.

People are naturally more hostile towards nurse players because of how ball busting she is for people that don’t know when to split up and survive individually. I’d actually argue that nurse’s idolization comes from her most likely unintentional ability to cripple teams that decide to stick together, especially quickly. And she’s able to catch up as well as long as she is paying attention.Nickenzie said:
I was playing nurse with insidious and NOED. I blinked behind the exit gates and wait for them to gen rush me so one of the victims would open it. The moment the gate open, a hopeless meg ran to me and I surprised her.Orion said:@MisterCremaster said:

An exploit doesn’t have to be a glitch, it can be players who take advantage of things they shouldn’t. In this case, possibly maybe bad game design, but I have to play him for myself to get a feel for where he is at.HellDescent said:It's not an exploit. It's a poor design by the devs. While admitting that Freddy is weak and needs a buff, and then they release even weaker killer, justifying it by saying that not every killer should be viable.
I take the community feedback with a grain of sand, everyone had been saying pig is a mid tier killer, and I got her to rank 1 within just about two days. I was still brand new to the game as well then. As in 9 days into playing (not game time) by the time my pig was rank 1. -
@Vesperiavi I know it was sincere, I just don’t think I did anything to be thanked lol. Regardless, I think having a slow base movement speed forms a bad habit of overusing/relying upon the power to do everything. And the power is more for setups and I think legion should be more mobile as a result.
I don’t know. People say the devs don’t know what they are doing but everyone has a different challenge threshold. If you’re more skilled, than a balance tweak you want may be too much for a less skilled player, and a lot of unnecessary changes are proposed.
BHVR does know how to make killers balanced and viable, at least as of the past few months. I think him being released will be the best way for feedback to flow in so more people have access to give actually good feedback, assuming it isn’t drowned out by inexperienced player feedback. -
Ya’ll better quit arguing. Don’t want my thread closed because no one seems to be able to communicate without starting a wildfire.
