Oh in his mori he 100% needs a line. He should welcome to the family you and then shove the shovel right through your face as your laying down.
Or have his chainsaw scissor as he slices the survivor in half

It seems like they put the most love and care until the characters. If they don't really want him talking I know for a fact they'll at least put his crazy laughs in.
And if he does say a few lines I'll be fine, but he needs to be able to say " Welcome to the family, son". EIther in his mori, or when hooking

I have a feeling it is gonna be RE, or F13, but Fnaf is possible, we haven't seen the anniversary 5 logo so, we won't know yet

I loved the game to. If he has lines I'd love for Jack to be in the game. But without the lines I'd be disappointed.
Same, although with how many people demanding him to have lines, if the devs considered him coming in, I have a feeling they would listen, but I do have low expectations

Birkin would be more about destruction and becoming more powerful as the game progresses and by the end he'll be like an absolute survivor obliterator. I like Jack but he just wouldnt be as cool. All 3 of these characters do fit but I'd also rather see the RPD than the Baker estate. But if still be fine with Jack if it is him. I just prefer the others.
That's understandable, I just absolutely loved RE 7, and Jack was the only villain I dealt with in RE that disturbed me the most. The Character was very realistic even for RE. But he has to have voice lines in DBD for him to be amazing

I always wanted an RE chapter to have 2 killers. It probably won't happen. I do think it will have 2 survivors though. But the 2 killers I want if ghat somehow happened is Mr. X AND Birkin. Its be PERFECT! Since Claire deals with Birkin more than Leon does and Leon is more on the Mr. X side. So having Claire and Leon AND Mr. X and Birkin is exactly what I think is a perfect thing.
Sorry to bump in but, I think Birkin is way too similar to Blight, both inject themselves a drug to become a monster, and I'd think he would come in as a skin. I personally want Jack Baker, he is also a good choice and similar in strength with Mr. X. Plus I just want a map of the Baker Ranch

How people like that are allowed to be a fog whisperer when there are plenty of other wholesome nice content that “criticise the game too much” who are not allowed is beyond me
Same, idk why they think its okay
-
@Phasmamain said:
Unfortunately that’s the kinda content a lot of people like
Sadly, in fact a hand few fog whisperers act in this way, ( not naming them of course ) and they have a large number of followers. It just saddens me this community can't see the shades of grey, and only the black and white
-
I think it has an interesting concept but its failing in many categories. The only game I think has any remote competition with DBD, is Dark Deception Monsters and Mortals. At first I thought it was a cool game that will last for only a while, it wasn't going to rival DBD, that was until they added Monstrum, which gave me a little bit of hope, but when they added Silent Hill of all DLC's, was when my hope increased by a bunch. Now I think it has potential to rival DBD, its all up to the developers now

Was it by any chance someone who openly admitted to DC'ing so she could bully inexperienced killers?
I'm not naming them, they do not deserved to be called out like that, and no it was someone else.

Wow someone figured it out, but lets not name shame him, forum rules, I will say, hes not my favorite but I could care less about his attitude.

I made a head canon for what kind of person Clown is, and how abusive he is to the survivors. basically something to make the character scarier

Only a fool would keep doing something that's hurting their mental health
There is a word your forgetting... its called addiction, no matter how much you hate it, no matter how much you try to break free, it will come back to trap you, once that happens your reminded your its servant. Its hard to break from something you enjoy but at the same time don't.

This is where we're gonna have to agree to disagree.
If someone is struggling with mental health issues, don't insult them. That's not how you help them and it's how you make literally everything worse.
You have the right mindset, as someone who struggles with some mental issues, its not funny, its sick. It actually encourages them to hurt themselves more.

Oh I don't mind, mostly, although, I faced one streamer who was a fog whisperer, was kinda an antagonistic ######### of a survivor. they literally lolled me and honestly it surprises me that they are a fog whisperer to begin with. I won't name them however, but it is very tempting.
-
I don't see him as much, and when I do, he doesn't do so well. Thx devs for gutting a decent killer
-
I'm happy with either fnaf or RE, but I'll be very strict about RE coming in. I'm kinda biased with Nemesis coming in mostly because I feel like him coming into DBD won't give him the justice he deserves, and hes already been gutted quite a bit already. I want Mr.X or Jack Baker, they seem the most logical.
-
As cool as Willys wonderland chapter would be with Nicholas freaking Cage as the survivor. I think Fnaf would out shadows it by a lot
-
Bro, you forgot Hag lol, she would be my #1, she is literally tunnel hell all on her own
-
The five I reallly wanted were, listing them in order - 1: RE, 2:Fnaf 3: Outlast 4: Candyman 5: Friday the 13th. I mostly grew up on the games, except for Left 4 Dead

The Trickster is a Killer that gradually damages Survivors with knives. Their progress towards their eventual health state loss is called the Laceration Meter.
Here’s a quote from Tome 3:
“It's always entertaining to watch a Survivor try to escape with a femoral artery lacerated. Some victims actually get quite far before shock and cardiac arrest overwhelm them.”
It’s pretty cool that the Tomes hint towards new characters. Elodie was hinted at in Tome 1.
I kinda figured that Elodie would appear, but, I'm mad she did, my ears have been damaged because of her for quite a while

I want someone who is knowledgeable, humble, decent at the game, but is fun to be around, and strange. I love content creators I can relate to, since I tend to be weird, and crazy, yet knowledgeable, and understadning
-
Dude this a hard pick, I wish I had the ability to choose more then one. I want like at least five of them to come in
-
The only thing I'd say was absolutely bad was the damn startup of the game. Every time it loads, all your hear is a loud sound that no matter how high the volume, was always loud as hell. It was worse louder and more earaching then Elodies scream(Well used to be, because now shes a permanent addition to the game!), thank god it's gone, but other then that the chapter was amazing.

Michael Myers is the villain above all. The fact you have no idea if he is packing Tombstone or even just his Tier 3 terror. Tier 2 is the tier I feel least anxious by, and by "least anxious" I mean holding back the tears for him to suddenly go into psycho mode.
I rarely face Myers, but it is possible to face him from time to time

Mr. X has always been my top choice. Especially after RE2. And those footsteps. I don't want see Nemesis slapped around. Mainly because Nemesis isn't Nemesis without his weapons AND he already took a beating recently. He's one of the worst BOW's in REsistance, Mr. X became a better Nemesis than Nemesis in the remakes, and he kinda sucks in RE Verse.
Yeah I also think is that its best we leave poor Nemesis be, plus if we don't get Mr.X, Jack Baker is a high contender

That sounds good. That way, the characters and story can build up, allowing the player to develop attachments and empathise with the characters. I find the most likeable characters are those who have flaws, which people can relate to.
It does sound like something to be excited about! Do you have a time frame for development?
This is just an idea, one I might do. But I need to finish one other project first beforehand. I am in the early phases, and I don't have a team as of yet, but it still is a thought I'm more than happy to undergo. I will need to learn more in coding, and I might play as the main character. so I do need a group of people to help me and a good portion of the money.

You're welcome! Also, if you're looking for any unusual ideas on fear, check out a podcast called "The Magnus Archives", which has some amazing imagery and ideas on fear.
I would also do it episodically, so it would allow us to take time to make the game, receive feedback, and improve, but also create a fanbase along the way.

Psychological horror is the way. Gore does have a place, but too much of it and it just becomes part of the scenery. "Agony" is a prime example of how the horrific can become mundane.
Also, melee is a good way to go. Just remember to make some monsters where melee would be no match for the protagonist. He/she/they need to feel vulnerable, at least to a few of the beasties.
Sounds a decent project to take on though! Best of luck with it!
Okay, I'll put that in mind thank you. Although you can use guns, just not a whole bunch, like you have 20 shots of this gun type for the whole game, then you're done, and the protagonist can craft homemade bombs, like powder bomb ( which would work like a stun grenade, only affecting certain types of monsters) and Molotov cocktail. he also suffers from exhaustion causing him to take small breaks between fights, except for bosses of course. I'll mostly focus on some atmospheres for gore, and even scenarios as well
-
Honestly, I'd be happy with either one. Both would bring in a flood of fans/ new players, both would be amazingly loved, but most important importantly ( to the devs), a large amount of profit. But if I had to choose, I'd go RE, mostly I want either Mr. X or Jack Baker most of all. I don't want Nemesis, 1: It will literally make the survivors the Mary Sue's each time they win against a Nemesis, the bastard would hands down easily be able to score a 4k easily, if they truly wanted to live up to his name from the old RE. Jack Baker, and Mr. X are the most human like of the two, and most logical, maybe not as popular as Nemesis, but a lot more realistic. I also want the Baker mansion as a map, that is a 'proper' swamp map ( Definitely not talking about Backwater, *cough, *cough)

NO! PH doesn't need a nerf, if you ask me he a killer I enjoy to play as.
if you don't cage someone that means they don't have an optimal build. He requires a decent amount of skill to play him, literally when I played him, he was difficult to master. Even after his nerf hes still a top tier killer in my book. I don want them to gut him like they did Billy

Considering it was a single-player game, yet people would passionately argue and berate over aspects of lore which even Team Silent purposefully left ambiguous, I'd say it rivalled it.
Wow, that's quite crazy. I also wanted to comment about if I wanted to make a horror game about my projects, I would try to mix both the gore, and psychological aspects as well. But mostly focus on less of the gore aspects, and shooting and focusing more on psychological, and more melee combat side of things

Pretty damn good, god now I'm just imagining in-game, when he's idle, that thing just twitching, bleeding blood out of the cavities, and maybe vomiting up blood a bit. Overall really well done
