Yes, that is clearly why they never changed her despite buffing 17 perks and releasing 40 perks that are okay, great, or insanely good for her. Them nerfing one single perk that was basically garbage even before the nerf. Amazing conclusion.
Just letting you know that I edited my post before you replied. I don't respect you.

"This effect could be a little oppressive on certain Killers, especially when paired with Lethal Pursuer to extend the aura reading effect and Starstruck to make Survivors Exposed."
how many times? how many times perk have to be nerfed because of one killer? the existence of a broken thing like nurse is not just in a pain for survivors that have to play againts something with no counterplay its a pain for killers that see perks that could have some use nerfed in to the oblivion.
nurse has to be reworked ASAP
I was always unsure if they were really balancing perks around Nurse specifically, but this is blatant proof. This is just ridiculous. Address the problem child already.Actually, this could have also been done for Wraith and maybe a couple of other high mobility killers. I don't think it was only Nurse.

Honestly, I don't get the hate towards the buff. I'm getting more medkits with it a lot of the time, and I get one pretty much every trial I run it.
Sure, it'd be nice if it gave a medkit on the first search AND every search while you were injured but honestly it's not that big of a deal, people really don't search chests that much to use them all up before I'm injured.
You don't need Plunderer's with it either if you know where chests spawn.
I'd love to have your games then. I've run Pharmacy long before the "buff" (rework) and I would regularly come across empty chests. Going an entire round without being able to use my perk was very common.

I don't know about anyone else but I don't consider a solo escape as a win.
IMO if that survivor can open the gates then they definitely won. Maybe not so much from a team aspect though.

Could also be his AoT skin
When it first released I'd see him often. Now I see him every other match, but not with the skin.

If Jill doesn't get her s.t.a.r.s. uniform I am going to scream
-
At least two of his perks synergize incredibly well with his power. Not to mention his add-ons and power perfectly reflect his mannerisms in the first movie. Outside of his size (which is understandable, I mean it IS a video game) he's nearly spot on.
-
Right now
-
Meh. Maybe apply deep wound instead.
-
Nah, killers can run franklins and that one doctor perk for anti med-kit builds.
-
Honestly... just make it so that healing perks can hasten cleansing speed and I'm good.

Just play re2r 4head.
This but unironically.
(I actually prefer the rework. It's better for DBD in the long run.)
-
Definitely. I can't tell you how many times that perk has stopped me from completing a gen.
-
Thankfully it's getting fixed in the next update. His pick rate has been so high for me ever since the bug became common knowledge. So tired of Onis running around with infinite power.
-
If Wesker was made any weaker he'd be useless.
Also I'm really really REALLY hoping that the blast mine/repressed alliance/Wiretap interaction really is a bug and not an intended design choice.
-
Giving killer control over that perks seems like a little much. May as well keep the one time use and allow the survivor to use it on themself or something.
-
I gave up fighting this a long time ago. May as well embrace the poorly implemented mmr system and try to have a good time. Go for the last second suicide hooks and use meme builds. Fighting this will only drain you.
-
It's going to be Resident Evil here soon.
-
What? Artist can completely mop the floor with survivors if she places her crows into the proper positions. Artist can guarantee a hit at all pallets if the player knows how to use her.
-
Camping is annoying for the survivors and incredibly boring for the killer.

I'm really enjoying new Botany Knowledge, especially paired with CoH. Two slots dedicated to self-healing, sure, but both also help the team on their own, so it's a pleasantly strong pairing.
New botany is incredibly strong. I have no idea why so many people despised the change. If anything the quicker med-kit draining made it synergize more with Built To Last.

Autodidact is super fun and always a go to perk for me
I was messing around with that one on the PTB (I only recently unlocked it in the shrine). I feel like I need to run For The People with it just in case I can't get the heal off.

I love fixated. Have been using it in every build. Also, Windows.
Fixated and windows are some of my favs too. I love running fixated with urban evasion and sprint burst.

Pain Resonance
IMO the most unfun perk is Franklins.
-
That Nurse build should be illegal. I'm glad the add-ons are getting nerfed at least.
-
When killers do this sort of stuff they're usually baiting a DC. IDK why but you see it with Nurse, Blight, Ghost Face, Bubba and Wraith players more than any others.
Actually I have a pretty good idea as to why someone would do this with Nurse and Blight...
-
Make it 5 seconds for the obsession or something. Make being the obsession feel special.
-
He needs one at this point. He's just so lame compared to what he should be.
-
No but I have this one-
-
Silent Hill 2
Majora's Mask
Cadence of Hyrule
Sonic Battle
Since Halloween is around the corner I'm probably going to get around to SH3, FNAF VR, and RES 1/2/3/5/0.

2 weeks I was training against best nurses in private lobbies, 2hrs a day, basically now I am competitive dbd player, not a single nurse can catch me in at least 90 seconds. (seriously I did that)
I am finally at "git gud" tier! Now I will stop complaining how OP nurse i!
Ueugh why does every nurse is dropping chase with me and destroting my other teammates in seconds, guys I thought that I should git gud and nurse won't be OP anymore??? YOU LIED???
B-b-but you are soloq!! That's weakest thing in game! You can't win most of your games as soloq!
Guys, at least I won some games against "not nurses", against nurse all my games are 4k/hatch escape
Doesn't matter how good you are if your teammates can't handle her. She's at a point where her lack of presence would make the game objectively better for solo queue.

So I'm a MASSIVE fan of the whole addition of Silent Hill (SH) to DBD and I love SH individually. I'm even making SH2-accurate props of PH's helmet and knife to create a Halloween costume for this year.
Anyway - everything DBD did to add Silent Hill was awesome to me. PH as a Killer? Cheryl, Alessa, James, Cybil and Lisa being added as Survivors? Midwich as a map? THE MUSIC? YES.
So as an appreciation of this, I ask you two questions:
1) What's your favorite Pyramid Head build?
2) If more SH content could be added to DBD, what would you add?
Masahiro Ito has mentioned that he'd like to see White Hunter (literally just PH with a white head) added to the game in some form.
As I mentioned in a previous thread I would like to see Walter Sullivan.

You should see Ayruns video "Buffed Wesker" he ran Dissolution and it worked quite well
I might check it out. As I mentioned, It's difficult to cast judgment on the PTB.
-
Likely to avoid paying her model royalty fees.
-
He's very fun to play against while also somewhat oppressive with the right builds. It's hard to get an accurate read during the ptb though. Most killers are still learning and the ones who have a good handle on the killer are going against survivors who aren't taking things seriously.
It's possible to read his intentions and counter him by vaulting or by putting something in between the two of you. In this situation Wesker is usually forced to go for the M1. It's usually a good idea to play around with vaults when he's trying to use his power as he can't grab you or lunge through the vaults during those animations. A good Wesker can space his dashes out perfectly though and either cop a feel just before a vault or force the survivor to vault into an unfavorable position. Some really smart Wesker players were running bamboozle to avoid any vaulting shenanigans and it worked heavily in his favor every time.
You would think that Dissolution would work well for him, but the one or two killers I saw running that perk hardly got any value out of it.
-
May as well let all keys open the hatch. Just change how the time it takes to unlock it depending on the rarity and add-ons. Keys should also come with guaranteed add-ons when found in chests.
-
I once had a Jane do this when she was injured. I'm not exaggerating when I say it got everybody killed at 1 gen left.
-
Sometimes I feel like a ghost when I play
-
Cheryl was taken and Cybil was trying her best in SH.Oh wait... PFP and not name...
I love Silent Hill and Cybil isn't available.
-
They literally just nerfed Nurse on the PTB

I used to.

I literally had a FNAF fan try to argue with me in VC that there was no way it wouldn't be Springtrap during the Hellraiser teasers. After listening to that for awhile I can see why other people are also against including it.
lol I had the same thing happen during a smash bros discussion with a doomguy fan.

The characters can be adapted to dbd quite well and It's iconic. Most reasons against it amount to "I didn't like it" and "I don't like the people who like it". Lame reasons all around.

- First encounter was on midwitch. Two hackers were hooking themselves.
- Didn't know the next person was a hacker until we left her on second hook just to see that she had escaped on the results screen
- This hacker was a few months ago. They had a quad boon and gave us every passive buff. They crashed my game when I spectated them.
- Didn't know this person was a hacker until my game crashed during spec
- About a week ago I had two matches with this guy called solo queue gen rush. Did all the gens in less than 10 secs, hooked himself in front of the killer for a little while and then left each time.
-
Maybe you have a faulty piece of hardware? May just be a bug though. I remember DBD would occasionally freeze on me before the last patch. It would freeze in a way that made me think my cpu was about to blue screen.
-
New DH has been great. Seeing survivors go down just before making it to a pallet is cathartic in a way. DH definitely needed the change.

Hi,
I've run Kindred for a number of games these past few days and it's sad to see that half the time, the killer aura reading is rendered useless by the black bubble that surrrounds the hook for a few seconds. I simply can't see in which direction the killer goes, so that part of the perk is sadly only useful if the killer is camping.
Now, I've run Third Seal, so I know the bubble is very important for blinded survivors to at least know the general direction of where their teammate is hooked.
But is it necessary to make it essentialy erase the aura reading of Kindred ?
A very simple solution would be to make the aura of the killer visible through the bubble.
But I think that it's fair for the killer to get some camo after a hook. It gives them some time to catch up to cheeky survivors who may be playing too altruistically.

I seventh this

Walter Sullivan from Silent Hill 4.

The difference is that Windows and CoH are both on survivors you can buy with shards.

Haha, no worries mate.
Good point, I hadn't thought of that.
