The nerf to hellfire is uneeded
-
Looks at the pile of murdered gen control perks for killer.....
-
Leave her alone she's fine
-
All the Gen perks can use a buff with the Anti 3gen and 8 regression limit changes

They should just make the 180 flick basekit again imo. It is useable anyways on PC and doesn't make him OP or something. Oni is already feeling very clunky to play and has a lot of downsides, like weak early game, fast depletion of blood fury and requiring vacuuming blood for his power. I loved him when he first was released on PTB. But when he was released on live like triple-nerfed, he did not feel the same anymore. There are still some bugs with his power, that have not been addressed in ages. He is clearly not BHVRs favorite killer.
Agreed. Let killers have their techs for skill expression

so if the sales role is suppose to be the powerole,
-survivor’s make up 80% of the trials
-survivors have the most dlc characters
-survivors have the most dlc cosmetics
-survivors have the most in-game perks
-survivor’s have the most cosmetics
By a landslide survivor’s are the games main money-bank, should survivor’s alternative win 60-75% of their matches because of that now?
What happened to the game when the MFT meta was in full swing with pre nerf ds? 10 minute survivor queues cause killers stopped playing.
-
I kinda agree. If 2 or 3 gens pop before the first down, I should be able to concede and get to the next game instead of finding a wall or the basement
-
Cause there are over 100 perks that fall into
Chase Perks (mostly bad)
Generator Defense Perks (Mostly nerfed into being bad)
Disruption Perks (situational)
Info perks (aura is most consistent)
Shattered Hope (absolute dog #########)
What the heck do you want us to run?
-
Make a speed up bleed out button. That is all. If you don't like slugging you should be able to go next

Can y'all pick something other than Other lol. If you all take different opinions none of them will actually add up and this poll won't matter lol
EDIT: That feeling when you say lol one too many times and so you're condemned to a lobby with 1000 p100 claudettes for the rest of your days.
Still cursed?

Ayo. Glad to see another fan of Mike, Reggie, and The Tall Man
-
Survivors would dodge every nurse, spirit, Oni, dark lord, masteind, or whatever killer they don't personally like then
-
Passive slowdown for each survivor on hook
-
Because if I don't sweat I get 0 or 1k if I'm lucky.
-
I miss 200% ruin
-
Gee, maybe if gen regression. Didn't get nerfed into borderline uselessness

Aura perks are on the chopping block because survivors sucessfully killed off all other chase and regress perks. Don't blame any one killer when any perk used too often is immediately in the scope of mob.
Yup.

Chucky objectively needs to be murdered. And there's no way Vec and Wesker are not getting buffs. Quit making up things to get mad about.
No, You are objectively wrong. Chucky is fine. They already made his scamper basically useless. Go away

The hate was entirely unjustified. There were people coming to the forums and flat out saying they didn't care what BHVR did to her, they would continue to hate and DC against her.
And that is STILL happening. She is the worst killer in the game right now and people still refuse to play against her even though it is basically a free win if the survivors have more than two collective brain cells. If that isn't evidence of unjustified nerfs, I don't know what is.
Yeah. People still give up when I play her even though it's miserable for me
-
I fully expect Chucky, Vecna, Wesker, and Dracula to get murdered due to survivors whining. After they murdered skull merchant survivors now have the power to delete killers by whining they are "unfun"
-
Chucky, Weskers, Vecna, plague and pinhead are going to get murdered :( stupid.
-
I hope they don't murder more killers

Tunneling is efficient. Devs need to make sure it's more efficient by rewarding not doing it

True. I tried this myself for an evening and it was very effective … but boi did I get salty and loaded responses; THIS survivors were not happy about this playstyle in the least.
But the content creator to the side, this here highlights a much bigger problem: with how fast gens fly and how much time hooking wastes and how dangerous it is in terms of flashlights and how long the hook timer nowadays is with the extra +10s (and potential Reassurance and Camaradery) and how many strong survivor perks get activated and powered via hooking/unhooking … we now arrived at a point where it is legit more beneficial for the killer to never go hooking, but to keep everyone slugged.
If I were just concerned with winning, I would make this my main playstyle. I didn't, but really, hooking has become more and more an asset to the survivors, all this "a hooked survivor isn't doing gens" sayers be damned.
You got this on the nose. It's not worth hooking due to time expense, perk procs, not getting enough payoff, and sabo/flashlights. BHVR needs to buff killer hook perks or reduce hook time.
@Dreamnomad said:
I think we are well past time for a base kit answer to slugging. It's pretty insane that this type of game play is tolerated.
Right, because survivors haven't weaponized every basekit change they got for anti tunnel.

Its almost as if the game would be much more fun for both sides if the game was balanced around hooks instead of kills. But people keep saying that tru3ta1ent doesn't know what he is talking about…
They hated Tru3 because he spoke the truth
I feel like a lot of this is just survivors whining about killers adapting to ######### and finding something that works
-
Its gaslighting by a tiny minority of whiny survivors who are mad they couldn't use their sabotage builds, flashlights, weaponized anti tunnel mechanics, etc
-
@Rokku_Rorru said:
This is such a downgrade from last year, what were they thinking
Such a downgrade from borderline invincibility in the void with the killers unable to use their powers boo hoo
-
@Skillfulstone said:
Yeah, the only problematic part of it was how strong it made camping & tunnelling and yet everything except that was nerfed.
Easy fix:
Revert all changes.
STBFL deactivates when within 16 meters from a hooked Survivor and for 5 extra seconds after unhook if the Killer is within the zone.
STBFL doesn't work upon hitting post-unhook basekit Endurance.
I like this
-
Agreed. The changes to STBFL, Sloppy butcher, and mangled and hemorrhage have screwed over m1 killers and hit and run playstyles
-
Phantasm
Killer: The Tall Man with his Lurkers and Seekers
Survivors: Reggie and Mike, with Jodie as a legendary skin.

Dracula is fine

I think you're right that BHVR should disencentivise tunneling. Otherwise people will keep doing it because it's almost guaranteed to secure one kill. Though, if the survivor loops well enough, tunneling can take away gen pressure, making it harder to get a 3k or 4k.
Personally, I do think tunneling is a problem because it directly makes the experience of one player worse. It might not be intended that way by the killer, but it will generally have that effect. I agree with what you said though, sometimes it's not easy to tell which Dwight you're chasing :/
And people can argue that if survivors bm the killer, why shouldn't the killer do it back? Which I'd honestly agree with; if someone teabags you at each pallet, they're actively trying to get on the killer's nerves. Anyway, not sure what the solution would be, but I do think tunneling causes more negatives for the community than positives, and is something BHVR should discourage.
Or instead of disencetavise a playstay, BHVR should make not tunneling more rewarding at base

Yes, last year event was survivors sided. However I don't understand why we had to go from one extreme to another.
Cause DBD devs
-
Last year the void was basically a free health state for survivors

Or for niche endgame builds

I like this. Thanks

Had a discussion about this in a different thread. I'll sum up what I said there: the problem is that the game places too much emphasis on escape. The more emphasis placed on escape, the more likely someone is to give up the moment they think it's not in their future. The game doesn't do a good job of rewarding participation or helping your team. If the player thinks they're going to help their team survive only to be left behind, they'd often rather just leave now rather than later. In this game, the big difference between dying early and dying later is how frustrating it feels to die later, getting all that way into a match and then not reaping the reward. Because escape is highly rewarded.
The game feels punishing to a lot of people. They get discouraged. Punishing them more is going to lead to more obstinate behavior. People who behave poorly in ideal situations may require punishment to adjust their behavior. Punishing people who are already in a negative situation is not going to lead to a positive outcome.
Game emphasizes escapes and kills as "winning" nothing else matters

A moment that the average DbD player, who is nowhere near Hens's abilities, would probably flop, too. On a D-tier killer.
Exactly, This is just silly

That's not the point, but if you want to compare effects, the entire build shown in the video gives:
- 20% extra speed
- 60 seconds of undetectable (No aura reading, no terror radius)
- Up to 60 seconds of locked gates and a warning when someone tries to open the gates for the first time
- The ability to instadown survivors (2 health state hits per attack)
These effects come from 3 perks and an add-on and you still have a 4th perk slot and a second add-on to round your build to your liking.
This is being compared to:
A) A single use 4 second stun that disables your ability to do anything but running for 60 seconds if you want to get any value from it
B) A single heal (potentially) and 3 seconds of sprint
These are your "ruin your momentum" and "free escape" perks that are single handedly outvaluing your 3 perk end game build.
That's an entire build leading up to one moment. ONE MOMENT OF THE GAME. They sacrifice most of the games for this one moment

I asked you questions that I wanted you to elaborate on.

PvP games don't have endgame's its the same thing from hour 1 to hour 10k. Endgame suggest getting something that unlocks more harder content in a game then a new player.
End game means the literal end of the game….. Ya'know. like the ENDGAME COLLAPSE
-
Are you saying killers should be the same speed or slower than survivors?
And saying the Doctor, a mid tier killer needs to be nerfed into the ground?
And banning certain killers from being chosen? Do you not know how lobbies work? The killer gets put in a lobby as the killer they chose, they cannot switch killers when they are in a lobby.
Survivors don't need powers, they make up for no powers by having 4 of them.
Please try playing killer and getting a bit more experience.

That was also the case with perks like Decisive Strike and Adrenaline: They'd sacrifice a slot that could be used for gen speed perks or heal perks for the entire game for a chance that they'd come in clutch at the end game.
Still didn't stop people from complaining and the devs from changing the perks, so the whole "It's an end game build" kinda means nothing.
You are comparing an entire build made around the endgame..... To one perk that could completely ruin any momentum and provide a free safe escape
-
Its an endgame build. Chill out. Those are very situational and sacrifice a lot of game control and pressure to attempt a comeback late game
