played recently with Cenobite - a survivor broke all 3 chains in less than a second.
When in doubt, you can always submit a ticket but remember to add video evidence to your claim.

Sticking my neck out as a killer main here, but I'd personally like to see a boon that dampens sounds inside the radius, maybe by like 25/30/35%? I'd also like to see a Hex version that makes survivors louder mapwide by 50%.
This is a pretty great idea.

I had a bot Kate today dodge my force wave attack with Pyramid Head. She was near the pallet... I was expecting her to go past so that she wouldn't have the space to dodge. But the last sec she stopped and sidestepped. I stopped and kept looking at the HUD to ensure she was indeed a bot.
-
Yes, it happened to me yesterday.
-
Sorry I am reluctant to increase the prestige of some of my killers just because of the event. Plus, I have a lot of cakes from the anniversary event anyways.
-
Is it possible to switch items if you have - let's say - Wes spray and a toolbox? If not, that is the only issue with the actions.

All good. I personally only just started playing DBD again and was instantly reminded why I stopped playing it :)
As for facing them, I did notice the comp-Wesker being nice and the cop-Wesker hard-tunneling, hitting on hook and face-camping lol. IDK maybe the cop-Wesker is now the tryharding one?
Maybe it's because Wesker didn't get a dope a-- wolf costume like Billy and Philip 🤷
Blighted Whiskas tries the hardest.
Btw I rarely see him but he is alright. The chase theme is still superb.
-
Yes, emphasis is on good turret placement near vaults whenever you can so that he can't use his tail attack.

I feel like it's a pretty simple question. It's not a core mechanic to the game that would make their loss some massive hindrance. They exist now solely to make sweaty, one-sided matches. Maybe getting a new map after it releases. Why keep them around when they only really serve to make the game more one-sided and oriented towards toxic players
"Why keep them around when they only really serve to make the game more one-sided and oriented towards toxic players"
Not gonna lie, this is so true. Flashies and offerings characterise bullies mostly.
For me they just pile up and I almost never use them. Almost... the exception is when I want to feel god with Myers Tier I. :)))
-
I don't see Xeno that much but there are more Trappers, Spirits and Twins (Twinses?). Yes, even more people use Twins. Blight replaced Whiskas and Blights want to KO everyone as fast as possible. This is the only complaint. Some start going into the Void when the last or last two players are on the ground.

The stun doesn't happen immediately after you drop a pallet though, it has the hitbox that has to reach the killer. So it is possible to drop a pallet, get hit, and then get a stun on the killer even without accounting for ping.
And it is possible that the killer will be on your side suddenly when hit by the pallet.

What complaints was this system a response to, though?
Because this seems like a complete waste of dev resources.
Bubba facecamping. Currently, it is non-existent.

@Nazzzak said:
The complaints happen during every Halloween and Christmas event. I think too many people expect to have their cake and eat it too - if you spend your time messing with the Void/event objectives, and the other side doesn't, then you'll probably lose the game. The best games I'm having are those where both sides are messing with the Void, it's actually quite fun.
So true! Long matches with lots of BP. I'm fine losing if we are having fun and both sides get to explore / visit the Void regularly.
-
The experience is the same for the killer.
-
Pretty great!
Had Lightborn against 4 survivors with flashlight each and they called me toxic.
-
I did it as a killer. Really I just needed a couple of matches.
-
Not that frequent today but yesterday, yes.

They are broken only when they're entering the void realm injured.
So it isn't exactly a safe haven then.

From a killer perspective, the event is worthless and an annoyance. Killers dont have time for these side objectives. And lets not even begin to talk about the added benefit for survivors. In some cases it needs 3 hits to down them because of the event. Time to play something else for the next few weeks.
Really? I thought you only get haste. I remember being broken in the Void...

Can confirm you will be able to get everything with the Dark Trinkets.
Thanks a lot for confirming!

OMG the lunge! I played without it. How could I forget?
I was also naive and thought I had to purchase those killers that are top tier and when I face them I lose very fast. I thought winning with them will be very easy. How wrong I was! I barely touched Blight since purchase, played some Oni mostly because of challenges.
-
I noticed it, too.

Play the normal way while doing side tasks that you need to do which all the while killers have to do nothing different to get things done and simply turn the match/event into a miserable sweat fest.
Slugged in the void realm is super fun new thing... lol
I have played some more and actually the void realm is pretty great for tactics. There are different entry points but they also serve as exit points. Killers might just surprise you. We lost a match to a Huntress cleverly going back and forth on RCPD. I also entered regularly as I noticed the ghosts can partially recharge toolboxes (and I assume other items). It was a pretty fun and long-lasting match.
-
There are 3 milestone rewards. The 3rd one requires you to collect all 21 items.
-
Super! Thank you!

For tunneling to be successful you must take at least one or sometimes 2 hits after the unhook. Where are the calls for Survivors to improve their map and knowledge, situational awareness, looping ability, and stealth skills?
Surely you are aware that people try? Otherwise they would not criticise the SoloQ experience.
-
Because you could completely avoid the minigame associated with her. And due to this she was almost non-existent in matches.
-
Haven't tried the killer side, yet, but even with the survivors it is a tad bit too complicated. I mean, the main focus is still the usual way you play DbD, of course. But trinkets? They replace nodes so that no new challenges need to be added.
Will we have enough trinkets to purchase everything?

Over 3000 hours in this game and still have games where I barely get 1 hook in the endgame. Seriously just gives me the worst feeling I've ever had in video games.
Doesn't matter what map I'm on or what perks I bring or what killer I play, I still have games where I just can't do anything against the survivors, and it feels like I've just wasted all these hours and have nothing to show for it.
I'm having the same feeling these days nearing 2,5K. But sometimes it's an easy 3-4K. MMR is just crazy.
-
Easily the best of the challenges!
-
Lately I've been struggling to get even 2K. Genspeeds are crazy. Only one "prove thyself", one "deja vu" and no toolbox add-ons.
-
Healer / Savior / Hidden Agent due to "We'll Make It" and "Distortion" and "Calm Spirit".
-
I have yet to try the new SM but thanks for your positive thread.
-
It can be very annoying especially during EGC. I would assume this is a rarity considering the anti-face camping implementation. But sometimes keep staying if it is a 4-member escape and keep doing it just to bother you. Hopefully, some of these users will read your post and stop doing it in the future.
-
@Pulsar said:
Yeah anyone who says old SM was better or preferable is being ridiculous.
Is this SM good? No. Is she a good design? Also no, she's still a "leave loop or die" Killer. However, she's LEAGUES more healthy than old SM.
"Leave loop or die". It is as if there were no other killers where you could make the same summary.
How would you rework it then?
-
I did a little proxy camping on RCPD but got too close to the survivors and they both got unhooked. I won the match, nonetheless. It is not a game changer. I have yet to face (pun intended) facecamp Bubba to see how it works.
-
I had an entire team giving up when I did my 2nd hook with my Clown. All 3 players ran towards me allowing a knockdown. I wonder if it was an SWF.
-
This occasionally occurs. I experienced it as a killer when the last survivor found the hatch and started t-bagging before jumping down. Another survivor said "I rooted for you up to the point when you started doing that...". It is very rare, though. People tend to become toxic simply because they lose a match. Most of the time when the team loses after a great match I'm the only one saying "GG". That is why I approach using the killer as being enemy number 1 simply because of my role. I really don't expect anything from this community anymore.

So was mine. I uploaded it to YouTube and followed all the steps. Did they tell you that it's pending?
Yes, that they need some more time...
-
This is pretty great news! I always had issues with the trap spawning.
-
I currently have one pending that was quickly responded to yesterday but no action has been done since. They did ask some questions to which I immediately responded. This is a report backed up by video evidence uploaded on YT.
-
Hm I see no difference between old and new.

No kidding, I was running a meme build and two people DCed and let the last two live.
VS CLOWN BTW!!!! Who in the right mind would DC against Clown!?!
Aside from people that get motion sickness due to his gas or have Coulrophobia.
Ah come on the usual killer bashing comment... start using Blood Favour and you'll see an increase in DC-ing. There is nothing wrong with Clown.

If someone gets unhooked in my dace and they bodyblocj me when i try to go for the unhooker, i will tunnel the hell out of them.

ofc i still get trashtalked for that

I think this also gives an indication of the average age some of these kids have. Thanks God I'm on Epic - stalking is not possible but I get my extra, juicy comments in the endgame chat. I simply don't benefit from this privilege by closing it.

I disagree with way more points than agree with.
We all have sometimes our hot takes.
Exactly my thoughts!
-
Distortion - love it when I lose a token and I know the killer will not come to my direction.
Bamboozle - it still surprises survivors; especially great around the shack.
-
I normally use Clown and Nightmare but I still have a lot of Terrormisu from the anniversary event. I used a lot of BP to level up my other killers so perhaps the cakes give me reason to pick up other killers, too.
I also return to previously used killers because of the new Rift cosmetics. I have recently used Artist several times.

So whenever you get a SWF group on Garden of Joy, you lose…but the map is fine?
Don't get me wrong. I appreciate all the rework they do. The one that I needed to be changed was Borgo. And some of the "old" maps. I would put GoJ at the bottom of that list.

Like how killers "got the hang of" Garden of Joy.
Honestly, I have won numerous matches on this map. I never follow any guides or recommendations on builds as I follow what I like. If it is an SWF I always lose. I am long past the point where I think a map determines whether or not I can win. If it is a good team it doesn't matter what I do.
And I see it in SoloQ, as well. We can only complete one gen (be it a small or bigger map with lots of pallets) if the killer is good.
-
Beside Stephen King I also like Cliver Barker. They both have short story collections so your best bet is to pick one of those up.
