He would look weird due to the difference in height. I'd rather have a zombified Eastwood.

The same reason that every original survivor before him doesn't have one: He was released before that started to be a thing for original survivors.
True, but to add a theme would be a welcome change.
-
I used to do that because of the last-sec flashlight switch. Now, I just use Lightborn as survivors prepare flashbangs or flashlights in-game due to Residual Manifest anyway. Because of this I hit ready almost immediately (after looking for signs of SWF).

Isn't Autohaven the worst for Dredge? With the least amount of lockers.
-
Well, eventually, we all get used to it don't you think? I mean Borgo used to give great visibility to killers. At least now one can hide properly. These are "new" maps and killers will probably get the hang of them.
-
"Nic Cage refused to get caged." I see what you did there!
This is a great project btw - keep up the good work and keep us updated.
Try to catch a Meg in a Boop mask next.
-
HUD was the biggest and most important change towards this.
-
I like the idea especially number 2 as I used to play Fortnite. 100 levels would also be better to be honest.
-
I wish I was that killer.
-
Do you have Dredge? His Dissolution works great with Wraith. All pallets remain unbroken and once you manage one hit they are in a world of hurt. It is great when it comes to chases.
-
The idea sounds fun, but currently, Singularity is pretty strong in the hands of a good player. Last time I was in a team of SoloQ against it, I kept running from one EMP printer to another. Biopods were up and running at all times. And they were pretty close so each EMP I used disabled at least twice biopods. I do not see this as a problem.
-
I'm also fine with not having it. I mean dramaturgy is great but there is the risk of getting exposed. At least let's make sure every item you get is useful.
-
Is there a counter against the tail attack? I tried crouching to no avail.
-
Two gens definitely pop in the first couple of minutes. Try using another build.
Blood Favour always surprises even the most skilled survivors. I'm also having fun with my Lightborn. I always secure 1 or 2 kills with my Clown even against a strong team. Same with Nightmare who is an M1 killer. And I'm a pretty average player with 2K hours.
-
I rarely see a good use of Reassurance. Often ppl use it but immediately unhook me after. Do you get BP for Reassurance?
-
Thank you kindly!

Michael Berryman would be a great killer. For pretty much every role where you need a tall, muscular guy.
-
Some people are just rude. But please do remember that tunneling and camping are both fine as they are valid strategy and even the creators admitted it is not considered punishable. Face-camping is a different matter but even if you try to play "decent" you'll encounter toxicity.
-
I'm having a great time these days but playing as a killer has been the weirdest: It is very easy to win quite a few matches with the same build. Then MMR skyrockets and I have matches with zero results. Yes, MMR has always been there, I know, many a discussion thread has been opened about this but recently it's been the strangest.
I have finally plucked up enough courage to close the endgame chat once and for all. I approach every match not competitively but with a very calm attitude. Overall, I enjoy matches better but the winning rate with my killers is strange and I just have no idea what will happen.

Corvuscorax is latin for raven which is my actual surname. I used Korppi for years (which is Finnish) but of all the translations I prefer corvuscorax.

I guess he wanted me after I traded for Jake while he, you guessed it, nearly camped him to death
It was a joke. I rarely do that myself. I hate camping, though.

It also only takes like 5 wins in a row to reach the softcap. That's not undoable for anyone with over 100 hours.
What's a softcap? I assume there is also a hardcap. Any other caps out there in DbD terminology?

Take the chance next. 4% is 4%. Remember, it's not 0. Anything can happen!
-
I would think 60 seconds should be realistic, at least.
-
I would put this under "Bug Reporting" whether or not this can be exploited.
-
Danke schön for these!
-
They are all fine in the hands of a good Knight. Jailer is the fastest. He is the only patrol that can hit me. Carnifex does have a presence, too.
-
Got 2 in quick succession. One with a Bubba focusing on 1 or 2 players too much and in another one where the killer DC-ed. This is easier for me than the sabotage within 10 meters...

Despite loving both roles and the thrills they provide, personally I have to go with playing as Killer. The Killer may be difficult sometimes but even if all four survivors escape it’s still a match full of action and interaction. Playing as Killer feels like constant engagement.
Why do you prefer your favorite role?
I think you pretty much summed up why I like killer better. But given the toxicity of players this is the role that is easier for me to lose interest in while playing as a survivor remains "chill".
-
A rarity these days I'm afraid. I had a tough match the other day with my Oni. It was a 4-member escape but each member allowed me 2 hooks for BP. It was very kind of them.
-
Oh I loved this movie! This would be a great skin.
-
Honestly, this is a very bad idea. It's enough for me to read the insults of "fellow" team mates who lost the match. As the last one to go down they blame the match on me. When you get a pip and achieve a challenge you know you did well. I don't need people kicking me in mid-match for "reasons".
-
It is not much of an incentive as this is how the game is supposed to be played. The increments are too small so I'd rather just tunnel. Also, I tend to tunnel not per default but when I see the opportunity.
-
I love it when they start walking and crouching as they believe I can't see them due to the distance. I prefer this type to the one you mentioned - I love standing over them behind the bush and give them a smack.
-
Not really, to be honest. In SoloQ it is a struggle as BNP is not as efficient and some coop perks that were meta with gen speed enhancement are not that good right now.
The matches I play as a killer have a lot of survivors with MFT. The associated perks are all towards increasing the duration of chases. Nothing really to affect gen speed. If they manage to reach endgame that's definitely a team win due to Adrenaline and Hope.
I'm having fun with my clown as his potions make everybody hindered so MFT is almost useless.

Vittorio
Love his background and his moral (violence is not the solution), plus, his Italian and 2 years ago I passed an Italian exam. Just love the language. And him being a bit "older" is a plus, too. His voice acting is great. Love playing with him and hooking him.
-
Recently, I've been playing the game at a complete chill state. This is due to the fact that 1) I have Nic Cage available 2) started recording my matches and saving / uploading those I win is a joy 3) challenges are mostly done (the ones I care about, that is). Especially number one is great as I see Cage as a nuisance in DbD currently.
I was part of a team that lost the match against Pyramid Head and boy the hatred I got for picking Cage. I had the lowest score (the difference was minimal) and still managed to get a pip (at Gold Rank) but they just blamed me for everything. Fun fact: endgame chat is kept at a closed state. Here I forgot to do it (probably GG-ed before because of a good match).
Edit: Completely forgot to be on topic. I do have a lot of cakes. Losing early on does not make me angry. It is always the unused BNP that gets me.
-
Truth be told I never really liked the Saw franchise. I liked the first episode (especially the twist at the end) but then I lost interest as the sequels became ever gorier.
-
I mean I was surprised after the rework how dangerous her teleportation could be. But one can easily adjust and start doing what is necessary. Sometimes, however, genrush prevails.
-
Yes, you can add me. 😊
-
Well, players returned with 3 or 4 of them with flashlights in their hands. It is almost mandatory against the bully squads.
-
Well, hitbox or not, I still go down fast.
-
Well, hitbox or not, I still go down fast.
-
How very nice of you! 😏
-
It's a shame as they only ruin the match for others. I usually don't follow them as they are either 1) expert loopers or 2) if it is a late night match they are SWF and he is the designated, annoying person meaning the rest do their job without him. On a rare occasion I can smack them in a face and it turns out they are the fastest to go down. After that hearing the sound effect indicating the arrival of a bot is very exhilirating.
-
Autobuy is great but it often leaves precious items out. I always ensure the best path is done manually then I'll continue with the auto-option.
-
I mean I'm always happy when I make a down at the beginning. It is not necessarily attributed to my skills as survivors can make mistakes but everything has a price, right?
-
I thought the vote would be Yes/No. For me neither is interesting.
-
Sounds interesting. I look forward to seeing all this in practice.

Where does that leave your teammates? Remember 4=1 when it comes to survivor.
Unfortunately, that is a sacrifice right there. I needed to do the blue glyph challenge and I left before going back for a rescue. Honestly, I don't feel bad as these challenges affect only the end game. I try to be as altruistic as possible otherwise. Remember that there are glyph challenges for killers, too. You lose a lot of time when you decide to look for a glyph instead of committing to a chase.
Edit: I'm not saying the rework does not bother me. For instance, for this rift's hatch challenge I don't intend to use the corresponding perk. I'll just take my chances. I won't be bothered if I leave this (and the unbroken one) as the last two.
