Ok, this is just my opinion, I really believe, as this is a HORROR game, the game should base it's performance on the killers having a higher average than survivors, I play both sides, and do good on both, but yes, it feels like survivors ain't afraid of KILLERS, and that's contrary of what a surviving game should feel like.
I want to feel the wrath of being a killer, and I want to be afraid of being in a chase when being a survivor, but I'm afraid that, right now, the game makes me feel like a bully when I'm a survivor (quite fun though) and as a cat hunting a mouse (Tom and Jerry reference) when I'm killer (even when I usually get 4/4, t-baggers are the proof that a killer ain't someone to be afraid of)
nothing scares you if you expose yourself to it enough

Yeah. Many people here always say minor things to make points, it made it seem like those 4 saves made it seem like it was working fine.
the perk itself works fine, it may just be a bad perk like so many others (not imo i love it)but it does what its supposed to, ill never say no to a buff to it either

GF is limited by time, it takes time to stalk, and it is not efficient to spend the entire trial stalking, because he has poor map/gen control. Becoming marked is not a guarantee down, since it has a timer, and he’s an M1 killer in a chase.
Billy is one of the best killers, but even he can be beaten. It is not impossible to loop and dodge a Billy’s chainsaw. It’s not a guarantee, you still have to know how to play him to end loops and curve, as survivors don’t generally just run in a straight line.
Instadowns will never justify instaheals, because not every killer has the ability to instadown, and not every player has the skill to use the killers who do (I have tried a couple of games as Leatherface and I’m god awful with his chainsaw). Instadown perks always have a requirement to be activated, and even then there are counters. There’s no reason instaheals shouldn’t also have a requirement.
i personally think instaheals requirement is being at the right place at the right time if you use pink ones on downed people, tho ill agree self-instaheals do not require much, however they are generally useless unless you just jumped a window or used a pallet which for some reason i dont see people soing when using them

Lmao im not bad a killer at all the only reason they seem lie navy seal death squads is because if i pas rank 10 i get only survivors 5-8 ranks above me and only swfs
lucky, i get those at rank 10and under regardless

All of those examples are still harder to achieve than a survivor pressing a single button to insta-heal. You might consider it easy to steer with Billy, or get T3 with Myers, but they still require more work than using an add-on. Insta-down killer abilities can not be used as a justification for insta-heals.
instaheals work with a single button press because theyd be useless otherwise and you can have a max of 4 per game , the amount of instadowns you can get in 1 game are generally higher with any killer that has them, granted myers might have a limited amount but its generally enough, but , GF has no limits, and neither does billy so even if instaheals are easier to pull off the amount of times you can use them is reduced by a lot more than killer instadowns
imo that balances it out

Instadown killers aren't op because they either gotta work towards the power (myers, ghostface) or the survivor has to be badly positioned (billy and bubba)
Instadown perks also arent op because of the restrictions they have. Myc discourages camping and gives the survivor ample time to hide. Haunted grounds is pure luck pased and needs another hex perk to have a chance of activating. Devour hope is hook reliant and a hex so you probably wont even get the instadown. Noed is an endgame perk and it can be taken out by doing 5 bones, not to mention every game doesnt get to end game. Rancor is also an endgame perk and is obsession based so you kill your obsession you wont activate rancor.
tbh you cant tell me its hard to get T3 EW with michael, GF is a bit harder on that but still pretty easy imo, and how hard it is to land a hillbilly chainsaw is debatable at best
-
cause this happens so often...
tbh trapper himself isnt that good of a killer and the perks he was using werent the best, obviously , if he had better perks like noed, bbq, wishpers or some others(he barely used PGTW too) he couldve probably won or get a 2k at least.(which let me remind you thats what the devs aim for)
you cant expect to win against a sweaty meta-slave sfw group without doing the same, that being a sweaty meta-slave killer
you can, however, win against a sweaty meta-slave solo group without being too sweaty or using every meta perk
-
pretty sure it was "scary" because of the timer more than anything, but idk ,maybe not
-
i still dont know how instaheals are op but instadowns arent but your idea is decent change i guess
-
most are probably joking but you do you

Who said everyone hates looping?
I'd legit quit the game if killer mains and immersed players massacre looping
tbh most ppl of the forum complain about genrush and looping, i dont want looping to get masacred or nerfed at all but i bet that killers would want that if they added new hiding spots and stuff

Carry on then, you made it seem like the perk was good.
did i tho?
-
most of your problems can easily be solved but bye
-
idk why nobody likes this, i mean , yeah if they insta-save you dont get the mori but you get 1 or 2 ez hooks, at least this prevents the camping and tunneling with moris situation , seriusly the way ppl defend the equivalent the old(not oldest) bnp equivalent shows a lot of hypocrisy on the killer side

Yes, you act like the perk is godly with those 3-4 saves. It doesn’t change how niche and gimmicky the perk is.
3-4 in like 2-3 months is absolutely nothing tho, is it hard to get that i was saying that the perk is bad when it comes to that?
-
im trynna rank up a little with my bubba, can confirm im at green ranks
-
i dont have a mic and i dont wanna use one but i sure as hell wanna hear others talking
-
ok but dont put lore in cause im interested in power mechanics and perks
-
its harder because you dont have a team to rely on if you fucc up, and if you do 4ppl benefit from it while if a surv does only you get a real benefit
-
i think QQ is good, but i wont say no to any buffs
also as Milo said the name makes sense without any speed buffs
-
i dont want no necrosis tiddies
-
my win condition is using head on at least once per match and whenever the opportunity presents itself, however it doesnt apply if the killer has played/is playing in a way i consider scummy
as killer , if i somehow happen to get 2 ppl early and nobody tried to be a biatch, i will farm with them and kill them in the end game
-
do i need to tell you that you can down injured survivors faster than halthy ones?
also if youre complaining about the no-heal meta just know that its killers fault for crying too much about healing and abusing sloppy butcher (or at least using it a lot more than before)
-
last time survivors got a good perk was MoM and we all know how that went, last time we got an OP or considered OP killer by some ppl we got ghostface and you know how that went (even tho the nerfs werent big in any way you still got killers crying a lot about it)

But running is noisy even in grass
not much more, its more the breathing thats noisy while running
-
i thought of making more hiding spots with diferent advantages and disadvantages like:
if found in this you do not get grabbed(get hit instead),your aura can be read, youre not completely hidden
or:
fast-getting in this doesnt make noise, your breathing is a bit louder in it...etc you get it
-
is not responding a no?
-
are we not going to adress the nerf monstrous shrine needs?! the basement is already too powerful for the killer it doesnt need to be any better with this OP crutch perk
lol
-
i agree, get rid of it
-
just git gud or keep camping on low ranks

Lmao “in a span of 2-3 months” yeah anyways, next.
is there something wrong with that?
-
@BBQnDemogorgon said:
@CoffengMin Interesting is there something that led you to believe that? Or just a random feeling?
Something similar to the new trapper skin? Or a pirate?
random feeling tbh, and i actually think itll be more of an evil mermaid that walks or something? nah i dunno
-
ok so , how and since when can billy shut down loops, isnt he good just because of instadowns and map presure?
isnt map presure what makes both spirit and nurse good too?i mean, yes the mindgames/blinks at pallets are definitively a plus but looping is only a problem if you dont have map pressure or just suck at mindgames too much
my point is: nurse isnt strong because of shutting down(or rather ignoring) any pallet/window, shes OP because of it, shed be only strong if she couldnt just ignore mechanics(and had decent movement speed).
spirit is the example:doesnt completely ignore mechanics but can move really fast around the map with a slight warning shes coming and has a bigger mindgame potential than other killers making her strong but not op (unless prayer beads is used)
billy is like spirit but instead of mindgaming he punishes bad positioning with instadowns and can use it more freely
-
you know ... if you hate how his power works you can like... not play him, and play myers instead
-
im ok with a long haired survivor
-
only thing i dont like is her newer p3 hair
-
i really get the feeling its a water related killer

Clarification: Here in Australia (on PS4) i’m predominantly matched with other Aussies, or players from New Zealand or Asia. And boy oh boy are most of those survivors sweaty. Very few casual matches without the most try hard items and load outs. So I see maps in lobbies about 50% of the time, and about 90% of those times when someone has a map there is also another survivor with a key. And when there isn’t a key i’ll see in the results screen that someone was running Plunderers Instinct. Mid game hatch escapes happen quite frequently across my matches.
how many people escape on those mid match escapes generally?

I see maps all the time in my killer lobbies. I normally presume they’re part of a SWF because the other 3 have 2 toolboxes (or 2 flashlights) and a key.
Which then normally results In a quick equip of Franklins and an attempt by me to tunnel the ######### out of both the map and key holders.
i never see that as survivor it cant be that common

@CoffengMin I do that to people I spawn nearby as well. I also do it as a thank you when someone heals me, etc. If they unhook me at the appropriate time I'll crouch and nod my head up and down.
but that one time was so over the top, we spent like a full minute t-bagging and running in circles while doing so
-
10 sec DWM duration... itd make me so happy
-
theyre already improving the spots like, a lot .punishing someone for taking the time to find it sucks even if the effects end up going away
