I can't figure out why anyone wants the unmasked skins. Frankly I'm more excited for that neon skin coming soon
-
Imo Monitor and Abuse is easily one of the best killer perks available. You won't always see it working but it can really make getting that first hit easier. Especially fun on Leatherface as of it lets you get within chainsaw range faster.
-
I think it's a bandaid fix to a bigger problem. They'd be better off directly addressing the DC problem

That would suck for the rest of us who’ve already spent millions and got everyone to P3

We were told they were looking into fixing the mobile version a few weeks ago. Shockingly nothing has changed.
We were told they were looking into fixing mobile version like 2 mobile versions ago. And it's still terrible.

It's not a bad perk by any stretch but people make it out to be the be-all end-all of perks and it really isn't.

Why not have it more dangerous then?
I already recommended making the basement more dangerous. Frankly I think the Chest system could use a rework overall though. It's just not worth opening them in general currently. Even with good loot, still not really worth the effort
-
Considering the basement is a safe place to go when there's no one hooked in there I don't see why it should offer better loot
-
It already has the distinction of being the only consistent chest location on every map. Honestly making it fancy seems unnecessary and I'd rather see the devs work more on things with more relevancy

When it's sensical I can. When it's nonsense repeated over and over again then that's not criticism. It's just arrogance, as you're showing right now.
The same criticism is being repeated over and over again because you can't accept it. It makes sense, plenty of people have given you valid reasons, which you essentially counter with "you're wrong because I say so" which just makes you sound like an unhappy child who can't handle being told no.

The thing about jokes is they're supposed to be funny. You missed that part.

@Entità I get that, I think that's just a lot of unnecessary algorithms and whatnot for something that frankly isn't that big of a deal.
-
It's just rng baby. That's just how the game goes
-
If there's gonna be a minimum distance there needs to be a maximum too otherwise the killer is most as likely to have no chance. It goes both ways.
-
Sounds bad honestly. Moris need a rework, not arbitrary qte's
-
This community will complain about anything as though the world is ending.
-
The fact that it's taken a while leads me to believe they realize it's not nearly as powerful as bad killers give it credit

Among other problems you'd have to completely redesign the doctor. Could it be done? Probably. But it would be a huge undertaking.
Perhaps he keeps his terror radius

Like the old ds ?
That took a while, yes, but the devs have been getting better at addressing issues in a quicker manner (for the most part)
To reiterate, they're working on a lot right now. Between dedicated servers, Ghostface, the Freddy rework and various other things that haven't been mentioned yet. It takes more than a month sometimes, and small but loud voices on the forums complaining about a brand new perk isn't gonna speed that up.
-
I like the idea but a LOT would have to change to accomodate it

The fact that the Pools of Devotion fully heal survivors is not the core of the Plague's problems since the optimal strategy against her is to never use the Pools anyway. Not until the very end of the game after all gens are done.
The Plague need some tweaking. There need to be some kind of tangible threat to Vile Purge so the survivors might want to risk giving the Plague her Corrupt Purge.
Maybe the Hindered effect for a survivor broken by the sickness? Aim her to be a bit harder to break someone with but being broken has far bigger consequences. Hindered, slower action speeds maybe

Just give it a bit more time. They have a lot they're working on right now so obviously they're not putting every moment of time and every resource they have info one single perk. They already confirmed they're taking feedback, meaning they aren't yet sold on whether it's balanced or not. It takes more than a month to get valid feedback (more than just a lot of killers crying that it's OP), analyze said feedback, and try out nerfs. And the devs tend to wait til something is in the final stages to give any details on it. Just be patient and get over it for now

But they aren't left Injured, so being enough skilled and observant to notice what fountain has just been used doesn't help you.
Unless you want to immediately stop whatever you're doing, walk halfway across the map, get your power, and then tunnel a fully healed Survivor while all the other Survivors do generators, there's no point in paying attention to what fountain gets used.
Just keep track of the closest usable fountain so that you waste as little time as possible charging your power.
That's what I'm saying. It's not a huge benefit right now because they're healed fully. If they weren't, as OP is suggesting, it would make it a SIGNIFICANTLY stronger factor
-
The higher your rank, the more valid you'll think your opinion is

I knew you were going to say that.
And you'd be right! If you weren't lazily standing in a corner waiting minutes for someone to cleanse.
Or mid-chase, or breaking a pallet, or heading over to a gen that's almost finished.
It's beneficial if you notice it in a chase, or if you notice it between chases. Playing Plague well requires a lot of situational awareness. I'm not saying it's the best means of tracking but a skilled and observant killer CAN use it to their advantage and it'd be a very powerful tool if the cured survivor was left injured.

No, you can't.
It doesn't reveal what fountain was used. You only get a noise notification, not a visual, nothing. You have to guess where they cleansed and hope to God it's the right fountain to get your Corrupt Purge.
If there wasn't a white fountain aura in one corner of the map and now there is, suddenly you know. If you're playing Plague regularly you'll learn to be more aware of where there is and isn't corrupted fountains so you can more easily notice where one becomes corrupted.

No, she cannot.
Where did you get this information?
When a fountain is used to cure sickness it becomes corrupt, and thus visible to the Plague. Might not be pinpoint aura reading but it does give you a solid idea where the survivor is.
-
Plague gets to see where you are after you heal, and she can then get a powerful ranged attack. I'll admit she could use a slight buff but the fountains are fine

@ClogWench Oh I can accept this answer. Indeed we have had no skill things in this game forever and I guess something like this doesn't affect it that much.
Lets change the legion back to its origins then, no skill moonwalk or vaults, missed attack spams won't change everything, and they will be another addition to this pile of garbage no skill things.
No big deal I guess.
The difference between the two is one had way too many unintended exploits. While I'm content with new Legion, I'm open to changes for them too. But original Legion was far worse than MoM. Ones an entire killer who can do all that endlessly. The other is a single use perk.
-
Is it possible someone healed them or they had Unbreakable?
-
I appreciate a good Trapper pun, Evan tho I don't play him often.
-
Legion is in a really solid spot right now tbh. I'm excited to get some better perks on him but he's already been doing really well for me
-
@Delfador said:
@ClogWench I don't think it is because of its power. I mean, the legion was not the greatest killer in DbD was he?
However, people hated him more than they hated billy or nurse. It is not entirely because of its power, it is the design philosophy and mentality behind it.
We've had no skill perks in the game forever though. People just need to get over it honestly, but so many people act like MoM is the epitome of broken and overpowered perks, and as if one single hit is the difference between total defeat or a 4k.
-
Just go work on gens. Pretty easy. If survivors are choosing not to, that's their problem
-
I honestly can't believe people are complaining about this perk so much. I haven't had it matter much at all. Had two people escape because of it once and that's it

yes the one that is activatable anywhere at the press of a button is stronger than the ones that have requirements. you okay? shouldnt be hard to understand
If you think that Sprint Burst is the strongest exhaustion perk then that explains a lot about your opinions so far.
-
Still would love to see Plague get an exhaustion add-on

in those scenarios u listed? yes. in the scenario of aan exhaustion add-on vs exhaustion perk it's a complete advantage
If you think not having an exhaustion perk is that detrimental then you're crutching on it too hard. Either way I wouldn't get my hopes up about them getting rid of a few weak add-ons on a few weak killers.

You cannot say a perk is bad if you don't utilise it.
On almost every killer in the game it's not worth the perk slot. Unless you're doing a very particular gimmick build, you're rarely going to get much value out of it.
-
@AshleyWB said:

Territorial imperative is the first perk on so many bubbas
One specific build is not reflective of a perks use
-
Do people think 4man SWF is still that big of an issue?

@AshleyWB said:

You would get killers waiting for a save and then going straight after them especially with nurse and faster killers..
Territorial imperative would make a great passive perk on leather face
No one runs the perk as is because it's weak. Weakening it slightly and making it base kit would hardly make it OP

god forbid perks/items give you an advantage lol (only somewhat of an advantage, mind u)
God forbid add-ons give you an advantage
-
It's not exploiting it though? The point is to make going in the basement a risk because you're going into the killers territory
-
I don't even want to touch this...
