I think it is going to be like the spirit change. To those that main him and are good with him, it will matter very little.
-
For survivors, rank is basically meaningless. Some really good survivors deserve their ranks.
But gosh, how many potatoes are up there now?

You can get tunneled all game and still lose. Regardless of how good you are. If you're team does not help which they usually don't you are screwed, have you not seen any of the streamers die? Like I've been tunneled all game by an oni and I used DS and everything. The ONLY reason I escaped was adrenaline and he bloodlust 3 on me meaning he still hit me and I would have died, but he was dumb enough to break a pallet by the gate. I also went up against a pig on the game and was tunneled until no pallets just about and completely deadzoned, my team took aggro on my death hook and she still went after my scratch marks goving up free kills. I made ONE mistake when I kept resulting the pallet in the back of security room, she wouldnt break it so if bait her to coming to swing anf vault over, but I went an inch to far and was hit while I was over the pallet. Forgot I had adrenaline got smacked back down and even if I didn't forget there was no pallets close enough or enough time to get to a door or for it to be open. I played as optimal as RNG and good or bad loops would allow and to the best of my ability and I STILL died. Also you can't escape because any smart killer knows how to follow scratch marks
Sure it is going to happen. But sounds like you have the skill to escape and win more than you lose.
Also, I agree, often teammates don't step up and take hits for the guy being tunneled. Luckily I swf with my wife and daughter, so we constantly take hits for each other to break bloodlust or save someone from death hook.
I'm not a tunneling fan either. But sometimes it is the right tactic. Not often. But sometimes it will swing a match back to the killer. If that is a killer's main tactic in games, then I would agree they could get better.
-
Some LF like to do this because it is really easy to do with him and it has become kinda a meme.
I think more trappers may proxy here and there, but I honestly don't see a lot of them straight camp.
For me, I think I have seen a lot of GF and slingers camp.

Its scummy because it is unfair and you get a guaranteed kill with no skill involved while ruining someone elses time. That is just downright s cummy and a tactic only bad killers need to do
Takes some skill to keep winning chases. You could argue it is the survivor's lack of skill in chases that allows for them to be tunneled out of the game.
The counter to tunneling is effective looping. Also the team should take hits and divert the killers attention to allow the tunneled one to get away.

If you need to run that build on Freddy, you are not a good freddy.
Freddy can play perkless and dominate

Of all the call for nerfs, this has gotta be the most outlandish.
I mean, nerd spine chill, c'mon man

agreed. if you want your point to be taken seriously you have to take yourself seriously first. Dont worry about the community. Just tell us your point without all the fluff and passiveness
I think it's best that way myself.
-
Dude, you cant start you post with that sentence, and expect us to read through all that!
-
Maybe they are not as sure in their looping skills and prefer to gain distance.
I mean it's very situational. If it's the first gennys. Who cares, come back to it. The killer will spend more time camping and searching around the genny ,you can get other gennys done in that time.
I prefer not to give the killer a hit or down to finish an early generator.
Now if you know Pop is incoming, that would be different.
So would if it was the last genny and adrenaline was coming, also different.
-
Play red ranks game after game can get old after a bit.
Losing rank , to some, would be a blessing in disguise.
-
@LudvigVonBastard , Dude it takes 90 seconds of doing nothing to get crows.
-
I like playing killer. Sometimes I lose, but often I win.
Either way I'm competitive.
But respect to all killers sticking it out and giving me a game when I play survivor!
-
Damn
Same on ps4!
#########, we were killing it.
-
The terms toxic and entitlement have completely lost their meanings on these forums.
They are used too often, and usually incorrectly!
-
Yeah, I'm an iron will, adrenaline, dh user.
My fourth perk is usually switched between, kindred, BT, Were going make it, or spine chill.
-
Oh, I get it.

He didn’t dc at all, someone is messing with him.
Damn, that's brutal!
-
I think you just have to dodge his attack as he spams it like 6 times
After which there is a few seconds of cooldown where you can try to get away.
-
He dc'd from 1 game?

I've never had anyone say anything about saying I needed to die or anything, but I've definitely gotten salty killer messages.
Messages from killers? I think the reason I dont get those is I'm not a great looper.

What if that Nea had that annoying bug where you can't see skill checks? I'd rather have a player gen tap than do nothing. That's what I do when that bug happens to me.
This!^
Happened to my buddy the other day. It was hilarious watching him gen tap on the gen with me. He wanted to help the team.
-
Fungoose has already done this. That is referred as the fungoose leatherface build.
-
Dude, if you're getting crows, you haven't moved in awhile.
At least if the killer camps it's a strategy. What is watching the killer camp doing for your team besides adding to your crow collection.

You've never gotten salty messages from killers? I had one guy call me toxic for trying to heal vs him in a chase where he was Nurse and I was juking his blinks constantly with a super fast heal medkit(we were running around on multi layer tiles on Hawkins) in which after the fact he camped me(I was almost completely healed). TRYING TO HEAL is toxic, lol. That said I don't think I've ever been told to die by anyone, as killer or survivor.
I have never been sent a salty message from a killer, first. I have sent a message and his reply may have been a bit salty, but nothing wishing someone dead. They just weren't into discussing game play nor tactics and I can't play em for that.

Yeah, that is going a little bit too far imo, people have threated to kill my family, myself and stuff like that, I suggest report them for stuff like that, since that is just too much.
Probably should have, but just gg em , told why, and moved on
-
@CashelP14 said:
Since killer is the power role they just threaten to camp you. Survivors who know they can't beat the killer go to the insults.
Gotta love the survivor salt lol
Forgot how much it seasons a dbd session, lol

Some people can't take an L, ignore it, I hate when people use illnesses to try to offend others but all I can say is people gotta hate.
So true. People gotta hate. I agree with you tho, somethings go a little far!

Even then it just breaks me to see that #########, for people to message me that.
I get it. I hadn't really been playing killer in a bit. So I had forgotten how bad it gets sometimes.
It's why I always send killers ggs when I play survivor. I know the struggle.

Can't stand people who tell others that they hope they get cancer and die (or any other illnesses for that matter).
Yeah, I agree. I just don't get the extreme hate. He did have ttv in the name, so maybe just flexing in front of his crew.
-
I heard both ways. I seem to be able to go faster side to side.
-
I can't believe people gave that rant 20 thumbs up.

The answer was actually Allen Iverson

But then it's still broken for survivors
How?
U use a purple key, only you get out.
You use pink you can get out 2 at the most. That means they would have had to complete 3 gennys already, then find the hatch and avoid the killer getting 1 of them

@peanits is a community manager who responds frequently. He also streams on twitch. :D
Peanuts streams dbd? I didn't know that. Is it under the same name?

I'd like moris to be used in the same way ph does...then just add cypress to base kit and turn the other two into bp offerings that reward mori kills..moris are less drastic,- way more fun..and helps balance end game ds
I think cypress should be basekit as well. They already made death on hook instant when you're the last survivor anyway.
I'd say get rid of ebony and make ivory ultra rare.
Then purple key let's 1 person out and pink lets 2 people out.
-
I will if the killer stops chasing me.
-
I think thrilling has more utility, but the points for BBQ push it to the top for me.
-
I had a few of those yesterday. I just send them a gg and move on, mostly we just joke about it .
But 1 guy kept trying to egg me on, calling me baby and the such. I just wished him luck and left. But I realized he was doing it strictly for salt.
Some folks you just can't understand.
-
I prefer to kill em before the gates are powered, seems more satisfying to me.
-
If you consistently run Noed,
You're not as good as you think.
If you consistently run DS and unbreakable,
You're not as good as you think.
-
Dude, if you got 30 message in 3 days, you might be a camper!
Play how you want, no judgement, but you may want to look at your playstyle a bit if you really believe every time you hook someone all 3 other survivors run to the hook and stare at you.
Also, if you're new to killer, you will actually get better by chasing the one you see and patrolling gennys then just camping.
-
Finally, someone with something original to say!
I cant believe we never had a Noed discussion before.
Ohhhh wait.....
-
Well to be fair, you can really escape with no perks as a survivor. It is the same situation when doing a daily on a character you rarely play.
Killer is also inherently harder than playing survivor in general. And killers are going to get a lot of flak for killing people with crowns as it is.
I personally am letting anyone with a crown live during this event.

Why the hell would you trust your opponent?
There is a thing called honor.
Like when boxers touch gloves, they don't fake it and punch the other in the face.
It's not against the rules, but would be considered dishonorable.
