Um your wrong about deliverence at most you can only get 2 self unhooks

Also I might have misunderstood but I don't see how any of these perks you listed are problematic

Oh so that's even worse. If a full team runs deliverance, only half of them can actually get any use out of it.

I'm using the term problematic as an intentionally vague term. The kiler losing all their pressure instantly once all gens are done and only half of survivor being able to use the perk they brought are both problematic in very different ways.

  • I feel like this is a bad idea, but I'll admit in the past I thought it could be fun if killers could give up an addon slot to gain a 5th perk slot, or give up a perk slot to gain a 3rd addon slot.

  • I'm not a huge fan of either to be entirely honest, but I prefer Ghostface. He feels a lot more adaptable in how he exposes survivors. Michael can expose everyone sure, but it takes a while to do so, its for a limited time and there's a hard cap on his power.

I would prefer Myers if they game him a buff of some sort probably, like for example, DRIVING A CAR, HE DOES IT IN THE OG MOVIE, HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DRIVE A CAR IN GAME #CarForMyers

  • I really want this to happen, but I have my doubts it ever will. The Devs were working on an "early game collapse" a while back that I'm guessing would've been a new objective of some sort. Unfortunately none of their ideas panned out and the scrapped the entire early game collapse concept.

I am waiting with bated breath for the anniversary stream to prove me wrong though.

  • I think a good buff would be to LET MYERS DRIVE A CAR, HE DOES IT IN THE OG FILM, #CARFORMYERS

  • It really is ridiculous we didnt get any Met stuff, cause we all know that its ALL ABOUT THE METS BABY, GOTTA LOVE THE METS, COME ONE, GET A HOME RUN!

  • I think the most underrated survivor perk is Distortion. It's a combination stealth and intel perk. Someone get's hooked and you lose a token? You know for a fact they have BBQ, and you're not revealed. Quick vault a window and you lose a token? You both know that they have I'm all ears, and that you won't be bothered by it for a while. Lose a token right at the start of the match? Congrats, you've negated Lethal Pursuer entirely.

  • Probably Ghostface. Knowing that you could suddenly become exposed at any time and not knowing when he's nearby can be pretty scary. His small stature and ability to damage out of stealth with no warning make him pretty damn scary.

I remember one time in particular I was repairing a gen in a kind claustrophobic area and I wasn't sure who the killer was yet. Wasn't paying a whole lot of attention, and out of absolutely nowhere, my ears get blasted by that "you've just been grabbed sound effect" and I'm being ripped off the gen I was working on. I actually screamed.

  • A killer with some sort of power that effects the environment and/or limits survivor visibility.

  • As far as the camping goes, its probably just because they can. They're the only killer that can particularly effectively guard a hook while also applying pressure to generators. And then the tunneling is just because getting one person out of the match ASAP makes things a lot easier.

  • Either Corrupt or Lethal should be basekit, not both though.

  • For Survivor I think I'd say Leon. While I have a lot of playtime in this game, I always appreciate it when BHVR releases survivors with perks that are friendly to the newer players, and Leon's perks are generally that.

As far as killers go, I'd say Sadako. Of all the killers released this year, he power feels the most straightforward. All these killers have sem-complex multi-stage powers, but Sadako's feels like the simplest. It's a Stealth/Mobility power that can occasionally get you instakills. It was kinda close between Sadako and Nemesis here, but Nemesis' zombies are actually braindead stupid at times, and his tentacle feels needlessly difficult to land at times.

  • Ghostface feels like a character thats not supposed to have anti-loop. Playing Ghostface at his most effecient involves not getting in chases, but getting the drop on people instead. Granted, this can be hard to do sometimes, but I think killers without anti-loop powers have their own unque roles that make them different from other killers. I kinda want it to stay this way.

  • She has a very high skill floor. People who manage to get good with her deserve their victories.

  • Have they changed it since the PTB? Playing it on PTB felt fine.

What determines how lawful or chaotic a survivor is?

If a person plays them in an objective or standardly altruistic way, thatll typically land them in lawful. If a person who plays them tries to make bold or crazy plays like flashlight/pallet saves/bodyblocking that'll generally land them in chaotic.

  • @OpenX said:

Nemesis, Pinhead, Pyramidhead should be way more evil imo. All of them always tunnel

The doctors I see are usually pretty toxic too

Doctor's kinda weird one for me. His power tends to make games pretty chaotic, but I feel like I rarely see them doing any camping or tunneling or anything like that

Is this by lore, or player? xD

    By player

  • If we're not allowed to choose video games, there are a few things that come to mind.

One of them is a Quiet Place, I actually wrote a chapter for it a while back: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/56157/a-quiet-place-dlc-chapter#latest if anyone's interested. It was one of the first chapter I ever wrote, so not my best work, but I still kinda like it. Also I'm just now realizing that Paternal Instinct eventually actually made it into the game in the form of Desperate Measures.

Additionally, The Maze Runner could also be really cool, The Griever is such a crazy looking beast that could do some crazy things. I also made a chapter for this one a while back: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/167837/maze-runner-chapter-the-killzone-experiment#latest .

I swear I didnt come into this post intending to advertise my old chapters, it just so happens that the non-video game liscenses I want to see in the most (even though I know they never will due to the non-human monsters), I've already made chapters for.

  • I'm not gonna lie, I dodge pretty much any lobby with more than two Fengs or Neas. Especially if two or more flashlights are involved. I just know those matches aren't gonna be a fun time.

  • I'ts one of those things for me that's like "this is kinda annoying, but I get it so I'm not gonna fault you for it"

Nancy and Ash mains need to be in Evil

Nancy and Ashes typically go either way for me, which is why I stuck them in more nuetral grounds

  • On top of this, I would like it if zombies were automatically destroyed if they havent left a spot for like, 15 seconds or so. Zombies getting stuck on random stuff is a huge time waster cause we need to walk over there and reset them yourself if they get stuck. Zombies getting stuck punishes you for something completely out of your control.

  • I don't understand how people are so overwhelmed by the Lament Configuration in solo queue. Whenever I'm solo queueing and no one's solved it by the time it's halfway done I just go "huh, no one's solved it, I guess I'll go do that". It's really not that difficult to deal with.

  • Basically every Coldwind map, Azarov's Resting Place, Gas Heaven, Groaning Storehouse, Both Crotus Prenn maps, and Eyrie of Crows.

Yeah, unfortunately my opinions on a pretty large chunk of the maps is negative.

Oblivious with no aura reading? I see where your going with it but honestly without aura reading there is no way for you to know they're down there.

I never said anything about removing aura reading. What I meant was it doing both of those things.

  • I think a cool buff to Territorial Imperative would be to make survivors in the basement oblivious. It would be kinda a niche perk still, but I feel like it would give it more use than it currently has. Sometimes knowing when it's safe to emerge from the basement can be important, and this would make that much more difficult to do.

  • It's probably Clown. His power is very simple: throw purple bottle to slow people down, throw yellow bottle to speed yourself up, and dont forget to reload, which you can do anywhere at any time. That's about as simple as it gets.

  • Usually I just enjoy playing games more than watching others play games.

  • Nurse by a large margin. With any other killer, if you struggle with their power, you can still play them as more or less an m1 killer. You can't do that with Nurse.

  • I like this idea a lot actually. I think making vaulting the pallets break them is a bit too far in an effort to keep it from being too strong. I think the pallet breaking itself keeps it from being too strong. And pallet stuns arent always consistent, so a longer stun seems like a decent rewarding for getting one.

  • Honestly, some more outfits for anyone that's not Feng, Nea or Kate would be pretty cool.

  • A permanent boost to BP gained with that killer could be pretty cool. Nothing too crazy, like maybe a permanent 20% boost or something.

  • I've been playing a lot of Satisfactory lately. Also Skyrim, for like, the 6th time.

  • I'd like it a lot of hexes didnt spawn within a certain distance of other objects like gens and chests. Any totem in the same jungle gym as a generator is basically guaranteed to be cleansed early on in the match.

  • I like this a lot. I've had a pretty decent amount of matches using Scourge hooks where I barely got to use them because of their spawns.

  • Honestly I just want it to be so survivors can't see the auras of boons. A large chunk of the danger from CoH comes from knowing exactly where to run to for healing if the killer ever leaves them. Survivors already hear the chimes and see the AoE particles, I dont get why should also be able to see the boon's exact location at all times.

  • The amusment park specifically could be really cool I think. That and the city map.

This is why I keep saying they need to have community submission contests, so we could vote on user submitted maps or outfits :)

    My ideas?

-An abandoned airport terminal, with airplanes blocking off a chunk of the tarmac. Could have a generator inside an airplane with the emergency doors open. Maybe working metal detectors that beep when someone goes through them?

-A nightclub for trickster, with hooks up on the performance stage. Neon lights/fog machines. I'd love the added difficulty of there being some sort of deep bass music in the club that would make it harder to hear the terror radius.

-An abandoned amusement park. Generators that light up the rides or make them move, A house of mirrors, or a house of jumpscares, carnival game alley with stalls to hide in.

-An older styled hotel, rooms upon rooms upon rooms, many of them having connecting doors, balconies all facing an indoor drained pool.

A hotel would actually be pretty awesome. Sometimes reality feels kinda altered in hotels and I'd love to see that translated into DBD.

  • I think the reason that Slinger only gets to shoot once before he has to reload is due to the nature of his realoading. Huntress and Trickster have to reload at lockers, during which time they're completely stationary. With them you have essentially have to leave chase in order to reload. With Deathslinger, you can reload anywhere, which means you can get your power back without breaking the flow of chase, keeping constant pressure on the survivor you're chasing.

  • Some kinda sewer system could be really cool. It could give a kinda icky, claustrophobic feel that could contribute well to a match's atmosphere.

A more urban area could be really cool, an abandoned city of some sort. Being alone out in the city at night, with limited lighting from the street lamps can be a really unnerving feeling that could tranlate really well to this game. There have been a few suburban type maps in the game like Haddonifield and Springwood, but I'd like to see it kicked up a notch to a fully urban area.

A prison of some sort could also be really cool. It could have cramped areas with the cells, but also open areas for like, the dining area, and either an indoor or enclosed outdoor workout area.

In general, I'd like to see some more manmade structures. We've got plenty of outdoor, nature filled areas. We've already had a lot of rural horror, I'd like to see some more urban horor.

  • I definitely would like to see some new maps, cause a large number of the ones in the game I'm not a huge fan of right now.

I'd like to see a lot less of the "very large map with strong central building" layouts though. Some maps more akin to shelter woods and new Haddonfield would be cool.

Oh, so like haunted grounds but slightly less impactful

Slightly less impactful cause it never fully goes away, yeah.

  • It's entirely possible you just need to play a few games for the MMR/SBMM system to pin down the right numbers for you. If it's been a year since you last played, it very well may not have enough data. Cause if i remember correctly, it didn't automatically bump everyone down to the lowest numbers. There was a period of time where it was in the background, gathering information on your matches before it was actually deployed for matchmaking. It could just be that it's going off the most recent data it had on you, which may not be accurate anymore.

  • @JohnWick1654 said:

So you made this by going into the fusion chamber and selecting 2 perks called Overcharge and Dying Light?

Well this was part of a chapter I was writing up where the killer was a mummy, and was trying to go with a theming with the perks. This was supposed to be like a "accidentally unleashing an ancient evil by opening up some cursed treasure" sort of thing.

because then players like me who play the game in few occasions will be matched with new players constantly. I would constantly get matched with new players during rank based matchmaking days.

Well I'm not saying it should only use ranks, just that it should also take those into account.

  • Obligatory "grades dont represent skill level, just time played"

To be entirely honest, I never understood this line of thinking. Like, sure its not taken into account when matchmaking, but why not? If the number of kills you get per match can be used as an indicator of skill, why can't the time you played? If you've been playing long enough to get up to the red ranks, hopefully your skills in the game have also been improving. Sure this isn't entirely foolproof and there are exceptions, but the same applies to using kills as an indicator of skill. If you managed to get multiple kills while camping as Bubba running all slowdown perks, to the MMR system, that counts as a skillful play, where basically everyone playing the game recognizes that it's not.

  • Sometimes this game just isn't fun and a dude realizes he doesnt have to subject himself to this.

  • Myers needs a buff, he's the only killer with a hard cap on how much you can use his power.

In order to buff him the devs should make him able to DRIVE A CAR, HE DOES IN THE ORIGINAL MOVIE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD #CARFORMYERS

  • He could use some buffs sure, but I wouldnt call him the worst killer. I think the honor goes to myers. He's the only killer in the game with a hard cap to how many times his power can be used.

I think to buff Myers, he should DRIVE A CAR, HE DOES IT IN THE ORIGINAL MOVIE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD #CARFORMYERS
