  • Survivor: Distortion. It doesnt always activate each match, but when it does I like how it gives me both stealth and intel.

Killer: Dead Man's Switch. I already like this perk a lot before its buff, the buff just made me like it more. I like running it on The Twins cause Victor is really good for patrolling and harassing gens really fast

  • I like the map TBH, but if we're talking about a lack of hooks, we need to talk about the main entrance exit gate. There is a solid chance thay if you down someome at that exit gate, it is physically impossible to get them to a hook in time without iron grasp or agitation.

  • I just don't find her particularly fun to play.

Most people have figured out that they should just run away when a crow is placed at a loop, so you can't do much interesting with it in the way of anti-looping.

And then you have barely any time to set up and fire your second shot when a survivor becomes swarmed. This makes playing her feel very high pressure.

These things combined just makes her not fun to play, so I don't play her very often. And then when I do I usually regret it for those reasons, which makes me choose her even less.

    Sanctum is the least awful.

Whoever decided to stick 5-6 strong tiles next to each other in the center of the map was a sadist.

I cant tell if that last part is referring to Azarov's, Suffocation or both.

  • Why did you say "you think gideon is bad?" and then show a picture of gideon?

It should be changed to a percentage chance to go to the realm that was offered, rather than a guarantee. This applies to both sides. Stealth Killers dropping indoor maps and Survivors dropping a busted map offering is an absolute snore, in my opinion.

Fun fact, that's actually how they used to work

  • I'd kinda like to see the fast headcrab zombie from Hald Life. Wrote a chapter on what that could look like actually.

  • I don't know if I'm indifferent nescesarily, I just like both of them for different reasons.

I like original chapters cause it gives the devs complete creative freedom, and I don't have to spend actual money on those chapters.

Liscensed chapters are fun because I always enjoy seeing how the devs adapt different IPs into the game.

  • Myers is my personal pick for worst killer in the game. He's the only killer with a hard cap on how much you can use his power and that's pretty dumb.

I think a good way to buff myers is to LET HIM DRIVE A CAR, HE DOES IT IN THE MOVIE #CARFORMYERS

  • Deathslinger gets my vote for this one. I like him mostly because he doesn't have to break chase to reload, and his ability to drag survivors around gives him a level of versatility that Huntress and Trickster don't quite have.

Kk, thanks, I'll give it a try. I enjoy hearing people thought on this stuff.

Now I just need to make sure I don't get spun for 45 seconds lol

Even if you do, they aren't recovering from their exhaustion cause they're running.

  • Honestly I think the main change that needs to be made to Boons in general is removing the aura of boon totems. They already have particles that can be seen from a decent distance to tell you where you are. The auras turn boons into kinda intel perks too, essentially saying, "hey, come to this location for safety". I feel like you wouldnt have to worry about people running directly to CoH to heal up as often if they didn't know its exact location at all times.

  • Iron Grasp is really only useful in a few specific scenarios; People bodyblocking hook, basement builds, or hook sabotage situations.

I can see it, especially with filth blade & defaced smiley pin to slow the healing down, although i think more mid game tracking would be needed, maybe Bb&q or nurses?

BBQ can definitely be a good alternative to Lethal Pursuer for sure. Especially considering the fact that it'll get you even more BP, which Legion is already good at getting a lot of.

  • I like to run Thana and Blood Echo on Legion, since I think they're the killer that uses those two perks the best. The exhaustion from Blood Echo can help you get that m1 for the down. I also like to run Lethal Pursuer to get all that injuring started right off the bat, allowing Thana and Blood Echo to do their job quickly. Then I like to run ruin, just for good measure.

  • I feel like either a vampire or werewolf killer is most likely if it were to be an original chapter.

If neither of those, I think I pirate killer would be super cool.

  • I didn't enjoy it, no. I appreciate what they're doing by conducting these tests, but the matches I played while these tests were being conducted were largely frustrating and one-sided. At the very least I hope my struggles gave them some useful information.

  • Some people don't seem to realize that there is such thing as being too altruistic. Sometimes trying too hard to bodyblock or go for bold unhooks bolsters the killer's snowball potential.

  • I had something similar happen the other day

  • I don't get Midwich all too often. The amount of times I've been sent to groaning storehouse is absolutely absurd though, which is really frustrating cause I hate that map.

  • Hilbilly. His addons are for incredibly specific scenarios. Like, "you can charge up faster, but only if you've been hit by a pallet" and "your chainsaw cools down faster, but only if a flashlight is on you". Why were these addons made?

  • I think maybe Pig and Deathslinger. A killer with great 1v1 and a killer with a strong slowdown ability would be a very powerful pair.

Also Plague and Wraith would probably an absolutey nasty combo. Wraith is great with surprise hits, and Plague could make it so he only has to get one.

I feel like there's no way to say this in good taste, but someone was literally murdered to "appease slenderman". I feel like that might make him influential enough to be considered a legend.

Blindness should create a fog around the survivor, it seems to me that his range of drawing objects was reduced, or it would be nice if blindness hides the status effects imposed on the survivor, for example, so that the survivor does not know if the oblivious effect has been applied to him

I like this approach to it too. Reducing survivor visibility seems like an interesting concept to me. I'd definitely like to see this kind of thing included in a killers power too tbh.

  • I like the sound of the base power a lot, it sounds really fun, albeit potentially unreliable. Riccochet can be really hard to nail down but if it can work consistently, I would absolutely play this dude. Being unable to attack at all while your power is on cooldown is definitely an interesting aspect to his kit, not sure how I feel about that one.

To be entirely honest though, the oblivious and blindness parts of no savior sound largely pointless though. You're probably not gonna be sneaking up on anyone anytime soon while holding a person.

  • I didn't even realize that was coming up to be entirely honest. I do hope this is the one where they show off whatever changes they have in mind for Legion.

  • The best advice I can give here is try not to get bottlenecked if possible. His shred is most dangerous when there's only one direction you can run in. If you are in a loop where you would get bottlenecked, just throw the pallet and try to find a better loop where he can't use his shred as easily.

  • Give me Myers in car already BHVR, he drives a car in the movie, he should be able to do it in game.

That's where I think making it closer to Knock Out's effect would work. Or would legit restrict your visibility and could be an issue on anything but maybe the most open maps.

NGL, that could also be a good way of going about it. I know I've had a few chases where how dark everything was from deep wound caused me to make some mistakes I normally wouldn't because I couldn't see well. Clowns bottles also make it harder to see, which leads to similar results. I definitely think this could work.

  • It depends on the killer you're playing.

If it's a killer that needs to set up at the start of the match, like Demo, Trapper or Hag, use corrupt.

If it's a killer that doesn't have setup, and/or is good in chase, use Lethal.

The difference is whether it affects the Killer (Undetectable) or the Survivor (Oblivious)

This is exactly what I was thinking. There is a gameplay difference to be had in gaining stealth, and inflicting a loss of information.

  • I'd say pop, maybe with reduced numbers. It would be a good way to encourage killers to leave hook.

  • I guarantee you the devs have nothing planned to address this. I mean this in the most neutral way possibl.e

  • Where on here would you put Sadako's mini mori? I think it's kinda hilarious that she just stares at the survivor and they just die. I love it.

Temple of Purgation can be okay but Mother's Dwelling has the potential to have Cowshed levels of RNG

It has these filler tiles that can spawn, they're like a pallet with a pile of logs right? I've seen RNG where there was 3 of those all clustered around the killer shack and then you could daisy chain that into a jungle gym or main building

Yeah, I'll admit that kinda stuff is largely what drops it into the "could go either way" tier for me. Some of the jungle gyms can be kinda wacky too.

Red Forest will always be my least favorite due to the sheer size

The size sure does hurt, but I think it lacks some of the ridiculous structures that other maps have to go too far down on my list.

  • Honestly, kinda. I'm not part of the FNAF fanbase at all, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't immensely curious about certain aspects of the series. And I'm definitely super curious as to how the devs would choose to adapt FNAF into the game.

  • The short version is because it's not fun for anyone. It's not fun being the one doing the camping, or being camped.

  • Not really. The new ruin is a lot friendlier to new players and can actually regress gens. With old ruin you'd still have to kick gens, but now you can just chase someone off of it and when you come back there's a chance it'll be at 0% progression. Also old ruin could largely be circumvented by gen tapping, which you definitely can't do with this version. This change was super controversial when it came out, but the devs definitely made the right move. As soon as I learned what the change actually was, I was fully on board with it from the start.

Why do you not enjoy playing Pinhead? I think he's the most fun in the game.

His possessed chain is really fun until you remember using it successfully accomplishes next to nothing.

  • I enjoy her a bit, but I'm not sure I'd agree that she's really song. I do feel like I can say she's the second strongest stealth killer in the game, with wraith being at the top. Her stealth is very similar to his, with the distinction that she doesn't speed up after manifesting, she doesnt speed up while stealthy, and doesn't make a noise that declares when she's using her stealth. Those speed boosts that wraith gets give him a huge edge over Sadako when it comes to map patrolling and chasing.

On the topic of mobility, she's an interesting one. Sure, she can teleport and wraith can't, but when she teleports to a TV, it becomes inactive for a default of 60 seconds, which is a kinda long time. I'd definitely say her teleport is stronger than Freddy's. She can use it in chase about as well as him, and she can teleport multiple times in a row, and she can still use here teleport when all gens are completed. I'm not sure if it's truly stronger than Demo's though. I'm also not sure it's weaker though. Demo gets to choose where he can teleport to and Sadako can't. Of course the upside to not choosing where you can teleport to is that you don't have to waste time on setup at the start of the match. Demo's portals also take much more time to disable. This means that survivors spend more time not working on gens if they want to disable teleport, and demo can interrupt them by teleporting to a portal being destroyed. Sadako definitely can't do this with TV's.

Hit and run is also a very precarious strategy right now. Survivors have a strong healing meta going on right now, which is a bane for hit and run playstyles.

TLDR; She's fun, but not super strong. Her stealth is one of the better ones, but not the strongest. Her teleport is better than Freddy, and comparable to Demo.

  • The word insta is also banned for some reason. You can say kill, but not instakill because of it. It's kinda weird.

Sadly she does. There's a mapwide noise if you're far away but if you're closer then the noise is directional

Yeah, i unfortunately noticed that one when playing a match the other day. I do think my other points still stand though.

  • While I do prefer Demo, there are a few reasons to choose sadako over demo. While demo can choose his teleport points, he has to be standing on them to teleport, and it takes a few seconds for this to happen. With Sadako, you can teleport from anywhere on the map and it happens pretty much instantly. As far as I know, Sadako also doesnt make a noise that tells people when she's teleported. And with demo, while you get to choose where your portals go, you have to spend time at the start of the match setting them up. With Sadako you don't have to worry about setup at all, you can get right to chasing people while you wait for the TVs to turn on. And while it doesn't happen all too often, Demogorgon can't base kit mori people like Sadako.

  • Micheal Myers being able to drive a car, just like he does in the orignal Halloween. #CarForMyers

  • Hate it on both sides. All the pallets are a slog as killer and piss easy mode as survivor. By far the most boring map to play on.

  • I keep track of the killers I play against when playing survivor. Over the past 70 matches, I have played against the Twins twice. So I've seen The Twins in roughly 3% of my matches, rounded up, since I started keeping track of this.

  • I'd much rather play Clown. Speeding myself up with the antidote and slowing survivors down with the tonic at the same time and catching up to them super fast is so much fun. It's way more fun that just the survivor slowing down. Plus its a lot easier to run around a small circle than a gigantic cloud of gas. Also survivors cant interact with an item on the map to make themselves temporarily immune to the clowns power.
