Spreading on gens is the best thing you can do as a survivor group. While you don't have a team, you're in the dark on many of the actions that happen. However if you have a friend who will notify you over VoIP that they're getting chased and that they're far from your location, you can sit on a gen care-free and the more people you have, the more of the map do the survivors cover without any info perks necessary. Also you can be notified about traps being set or killers being somewhat near a hook and if it's actually safe or not. And lastly call out totems even if you are in a chase so your team knows exactly where to go despite not ever seeing the totem themselves.

The informational advantage one can gain from a group on VoIP is absurd and that's why it should be heavily penalized in-game to balance it out.

What you are writing is true. SWF gains a huge advantage however the problem is not all SWF uses comms and there is not a system that will be understand the difference. Eventhough if they use comms they should not be punished that much. SWF can be beatable but it is harder than normal due to comms. Some SWF groups dont abuse comms and keep the information to themself while other SWF uses comms for all information.

The real problem is nerfing the SWF would be a bad strategy for overall game. Imagine you are playing with your friends and the game told you that you will be punished because you are a group. That would damage the game no matter what. There is no online game that can stop the comms outside of the game. I saw some ideas like adding comms to game but trust me that the other SWF will still use their own comms so that killer cant hear. Overall my point is SWF have a huge advantage and that's it. There is nothing we can do for that. We must accept it and play like it. If you suspect that you are gonna face with SWF then dodge the lobby is the best option. It is about how much information does SWF transfer.

I also wanted to point out that I am playing both sides but I am more killer main. I know your pain and there is a huge difference between SWF and solo. Even there is a huge difference between SWF with comms and without comms and I can see that from my matches. The real thing is no matter what game will do there will be information flow and none of the online game will nerf people for playing with their friends.

  • The way I see is that most of the survivors are tired of just pressing M1 and most of the killers have the problem of pressure maps due to its sizes and some mobility of the killer.

If they are not gonna change the map sizes the best way is to get new objectives such as finding parts, repair other stuffs and etc... so that it will be better and new for all of us.

For the map sizes while some maps are fine some maps are really one sided and both of the map types should be changed. Maps shouldnt defend one size and some maps are really big for some killers that lack the mobility.

My overall idea is new objectives for survivors other than holding M1 and for the general game new map sizes and updated maps

How? The killer tunnels you they get hit with ds with this buff. They recover from the stun to find out the survivors gone. No sign of them. Impossible to follow. Its literally a complete anti tunnel?

They can still find you. At the end you are going to a gen or the objective or any place. Killer can still hunt you and only you if he wanted to. You can just postpone the process but at the end if he wants to tunnell he will tunnell.

  • Ok I saw your idea and dont get me wrong I am not againts it but this will not solve any tunneling. The problem is there is no way to fix a strategy with a perk. They tried it with DS and after some time they understand that they did a mistake and DS turned into a weapon and lost its value. Then they nerfed it and now while DS is now fully againts tunneling, we see that tunneling is still a thing. Sadly there is no real way to fix the tunneling. If the killer wants to tunnell you he will tunnell you. Perks wont solve a game mechanic, if you want to solve a mechanical tactic there should be a different mechanic for that.

  • DH is fine. My only problem with DH is the people are using to avoid traps which is strange. I mean I can understand you are dashing to one direction so that killer cant hit you is fine but dashing to bear trap!?? I mean you are pressing that trap so it should not be possible actually but it is an online game so :). The perk is fine.

  • Are you sure they jumped from the hook? Maybe they were saved but their teammates are sneaky and you did not saw them. It is quiet hard to save yourself from the hook without any offering+perks.

  • Not all SWF use comms or known each other perks. Yes some SWF uses but buffing the solo or nerfing them wont solve the problem. You cant punish people for playing with their friends nor you can buff people because they are solo. There is not exactly a real solution for that. I saw many ideas like base kindred, perk knowledge and so forth. To be honest it is not gonna help the solo survivors as well. Ingame voice while at paper seem nice I cant imagine what kind of things will happen to people who can get angry due to "teabags" at the exit gate, imagine their reaction when the voice calls him with racist things and direct insults. The thing is SWF that uses comms have advantage and that's it. Yes they gain advantage over solo, yes they are more powerful because they use 3rd party comms.

The problem with is that I agree it is not fair but buffing or nerfing wont solve any problem, it will just create new problems. My advice to everybody which I did myself is that I played lots of matches as solo and during my matches I asked good teammates to be team up. We teamed up with people that we met and we dont use any comms or we dont telll each other what perks are we using. Still we manage quiet fine because we are good teammates and I encourage people to do the same which is the only valid solution.

  • It is not like Spirit standing but yes it is gonna be powerful perk with the combination of IW. What really makes me both happy and sad is that while BHVR did a good job changing the useless Lucky Break to something nice, the part that saddens me is that now we all gonna see survivors with LB+IW combinations and it is gonna be stereotypical build for every survivor at certain ranks. Moreover no marks,no bloods and no voice combination is a dangerous mixage at some maps and 90 secs is quite a time. 60 secs would be much more perfect in my opinion or the timer wont pause even you healed.

  • SWF is not problem. SWF that abuses comms are the problems such as healing at the secluded place together while they 3 gen themself, one person took OOO(Thanks for the perk change BHVR) and told the others all the time where the killer is and etc... This kinds of SWF is what I hate and I dont enjoy facing againts them nor enjoy if I win or lose againts them. Other than that the normal group that want to play with their friends or a group survivor that teamed up due to their skills and play clean are fine. They are more competent and I enjoy play againts them because unlike solo they dont leave men behind, they try to be more assertive and they are playing more competent which is nice. They dont use comms to gain huge advantage nor they abuse the exploits, glitchs and etc... This kinds of SWF should be more for better experiences.

Voice chat will probably be toxic like you can see it in many games. I personally liked the introduction of a ping system with Apex legends. It made the communication with your team so much better in comparison to other shooter. The system in Home Sweet Home Survive looked good, too. But i only saw it in a stream and have no experience with it.

Well we will see if they are gonna do something like that but I also see HSH system and it can be nice if it used properly. But I am not sure how they are gonna implement to DBD or if they really want to implement it.

Lets just ignore suggestion from others. There will always be someone with a dumb idea. Lets only talk about solo buffs which give solos exactly the same infos as swf.

For example: Where is the problem if someone tells the location of the killer? Swf can do that. On the other hand a fifth perk slot for solos is a dumb idea.

And it doesnt matter if solo is strong enough already. The important thing is that the gap between solo and swf is as small as possible. When a killer needs a buff, nobody should say: "But solos are weaker then swf so you cant buff him."

I also agree that idea. They can decrease the gap so that it can be more fair. But I am still not sure if the idea of voice comms can be good or bad inside the game for different reasons.

  • They did a 24 hour test for MMR but it still is not in the game. I dont know when they are gonna add the system.

  • Oni and Blight are really nice killer because of their mobility. Most of the killers in the game are fine, however the real problem came from some map sizes and the killer's lack of gen pressure ability and killer's mobility. Blight,Hilbilly,Nurse,Wraith can patrol gens and apply pressure easier due to their mobility and speed but for the other killers the system does not work like that especially for the ranged ones like Huntress,DeathSlinger and Trickster. The real issue is not the power of the killers but the map sizes and I think that soon they are gonna fix some maps for that reason.

Yesterday I am against a Wraith on Backwater Swamp, I am waiting on the other side of a window for the killer to either hop the window or try to run around and he swings hitting me and putting me into the injured state. Look I understand that games aren't simple to design especially a game on this level but come on he literally hit me through a wall, I wasn't in the middle of vaulting, I hadn't just vaulted it there was literally no reason why that should have happened, not even ping could explain it. I mean I would say this is the first and only time this has happened but me and my friend were testing this in a custom game, he played Hillbilly and no surprise the same exact thing happened. Look personally I and many others feel as if the developers aren't even trying to fix issues like this and they are just passing it off as either a one off glitch or bad ping. Issues like this need to be sorted sooner rather than later because it's a little annoying when you are literally hit through a wall. Also pallet and window vaulting need to be sorted because getting clonked on the back of the head by a Hillbilly when vaulting Killer Shack window, although amusing for me and my friend in a custom game can be pretty annoying if your on death hook in a regular game.

I play with Deathslingers and windows are my favourite place to hit people with my chains. I bring them to me then hit them with M1 during that time. If you are really close to the windows open part and the killer is here any killer can injure you from there. It is not a bug or glitch ot anything else from what I known but it is in the game mechanics. I was also suprised when it happened to me first time but it is in the game so be careful with the windows.

  • The mods explained it and it is not bannable but they will fix it.

Clearly it does since you refuse to play it and swf with people to avoid it.

%70-80 of my matches I am solo. After some time I decided to team up with people. Most of my hourly gameplay I did solo. I played both side and I can tell that solo does not need buff but strong teamplay which is hard with other people that you barerly known but exist. I really dont understand why you guys not understand the fact that even solo buff wont fix your problems because your problems came from bad teammates or selfish teammates. None online game have granted their players because of they are solo. There is no history of online games where they buff their solo's. Even if they gave solo buffs it wont fix most of the problems because I did solo and I know the problems.

I play with my friends because I trust them to be good teammates not because of solo is weak. I met with this people during my solo gameplays where they did amazing jobs at solo. At solo it is random. You can come up with really good teammates or you can come up with potato or selfish gameplays but that does not mean solo is weak it means it is random and you people are not understanding this part. Any buff that is given me like base Kindred and etc... wont make my teammates better. If they are still selfish they will leave me on hook to die, if they are not doing gens they wont do gens, if they are bad at chases they will be still bad at chases. Problem is not the solo or swf, you can build your swf and you can still be team of potatos and lose most of your matches. The point you must understand is that when you play with random people they all have different skills and not all people play the game as you imagine, if that pisses you off than find some people that plays like you at solo games and ask them to team up. That will solve the real problem.

I think also that the best advantage of swf is having 3 good teammates. Bc of that a good MMR is far more important for me then solo buffs. But i dont understand why solo buffs would be bad. It only would make it easier to balance the game for everyone. There is no downside.

Solo buff can hurt new killers I think and with the things I saw some ideas are really bad. I saw people gave location to other survivors to killers and I saw them at red ranks. Imagine that happened to you. Moreover I never heard any online game where they buff solo gamers that just enter a team and dont see a reason why it should happen at there. Buff is a process to make a thing stronger and my point is why we buff the solo? Solo is not weak it is the team members that are not play well. So overall it does not need a buff nor it has balance issue. People just should have learned how to be a team with different people and that is that. If a random decided to troll your whole game he will troll and there is nothing to stop it to be honest other than report that guy. Solo is always a risk because they are random teammates and rank is not everything in that game. You can get ranks quiet fast if you are lucky, it is about number of hours and etc...

If the game is designed to be played solo, why are killers kill rate 70% shouldnt it be more around the 50%? I'm pretty sure kill rates would be even higher without swf included.

Well I dont know the offical kill rates however I can say that at the begin of the DBD most of the survivors are potato. And most of the killers are camping and tunneling due to new beginners. That makes the kill rates high at most of the situation. There is also tunnell, camp and slugs that we should consider but the point is why they should buff solo? I mean yes bad teammate sucks but they exist. The real problem of solo is not the buffs but the players. They can give all of you Kindred and other perks but I will tell you this the rating will drop to max %60-65 nothing more. It is about the players that you are team up with. If they left you die at your first hook, if they did 3 gens and if they cant run away from killers, make unsafe hooks and etc.. no matter what they will cost you a match. Solo is techinically not a problem. Bad teammates are the real problem and that is what people dont understand. Buff wont solve anything, if your teammates is bad and does not known what he/she is doing it will cost all the team. Buff wont solve anything that is what I am trying to say. And I never heard any multiplayer game that buffs the solo's because there are groups with friends.

  • @TicTac said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2124482#Comment_2124482

And thats were you are wrong. Why shouldnt you use something when the devs allow it? Its not a gray area like stretched resolution, the devs clearly said that they are ok when people communicate.

So when they are ok with it, they can give it to solos, too.

Well I got my SWF group. We dont use comms or barerly use it. The win rates between the usage of comms and no comms are same. During our matches we dont know each other's perks, items, add-ons, offerings and we dont share the location of killers and etc... We use Kindred and etc... in some situation as well. Some people however use abusive comms. Imagine a match where one person took the old OOO and told your location to all of the survivors. That is the one that I am againts other than that comms can be fine if it was in game mechanic but not out of the 3rd party and etc...

For the solo gameplay yes it is hard because you are playing with complete strangers that you cant rely on. SWF plays with people that they trust. For example we dont left man behin during our matches because we are friends but in solo things changed. To be honest I also dont left man behind at solo whenever I can. Solo needs good survivors and that is that. It does not need a buff and etc... If a survivor know what he is doing no matter what you will win the match in many situations.

  • Well I am both survivor and killer player. While I agree solo can be quiet a problem just because a SWF groups have some advantages does not mean that Solo should be buffed. The game is actually designed to play as solo mode. Yes SWF have advantages and yes at solo you cant choose your teammates, they can leave you on hooks and etc... but the buff would not solve this problems and I think that it will even do worse in some contest.

I was playing solo quiet a lot time and then during my solo matches I watched some survivors and ask the good ones to team up with me. We dont use any comms or dont know each other perks. I only know them as good solo survivors and we made quiet a team with them. Just play solo, find nice survivors and team up with them is my best advice.

Solo does not need any buff. Some SWF gain advantage yes but they gain that advantage by using 3rd party softwares such as comms which is considered out of the game mechanic and you should not be using ( However people will which is normal and obv).

  • Whisper is a nice perk. It is useful no matter which rank are you but most of the time survivor gave hints about their locations. If someone is crawling and you left that person at the ground try to check the bloods that he/she left. I usually check breathings, crows and etc... If the last survivor is sitting on the hatch there is nothing I can do. For the exit gates I usually check the closer areas and so forth.

Overall Whisper is really nice perk but once you get adapted to most of the maps and knew what survivor can do you will not get to full usage of it.

  • As both sides I really hate that map I dont know why but I never liked that map. For killer part that map has quite a lot pallets which slows the game and it is really broing to break pallet every 5 seconds. As survivor the map is really tight and it is harder to navigate my movement in that map. I found Midwitch more fun when I play survivor eventhough I know that Midwitch is quiet advantage for killer. Before and after rework idk why but I never get used to that map.

  • Ghostface can expose you for 45 secs without add-ons

Myers can expose you during his tier 3 phase and with his crazy add-ons it can be infinite for all match.

Hex:Devour Hope can expose people if you cant find the totem

    NOED can expose people

Make your choice can make people exposed

I play both sides and my point is being exposed is not a huge problem if you knew what you are doing. It is a dangerous situation for survivors and you should be careful for that but it is not something that you will call "OP"

  • Did you unhook yourself or you unhook other survivor? If you are unhooked yourself it is fine from what I known. However if you unhook somebody else it should be removed normally.

  • What did they exploit exactly? I am not aware of the exploit. Can someone explain it?

I feel like my personal experience with this game would be way better if I had 4 survivors with 7000 + hours a man swfing every game and trying to win. if I could click the play button and get Agony or Oracle every game I would 100% sign up for it but obviously I can't have that.

I would vote towards making 4 man SWFs that you actually see in matchmaking more common and a little better. Good killers can handle them and I think that bad killers should see more of them and become the good killers. It would make DBD more fun I imagine

I know what you mean but I think you misunderstood my point. I am not againts a good SWF that gave me a hard time. There are groups that we win or we lose and each of them are gave experiences in some ways. I am talking about situations where there is no experience for both sides. Some SWF's are only care "winning" and they will do anything for that. I am not againts win or lose and I dont care if I win or lose. I can lose a match badly or I can win with huge advantage, my only point is getting better and have fun. However while doing that I also care about sportsmanship and having fun which are my priorities. A group of SWF that uses the comms to gain advantage that normally cannot can hurt that experience for me. Just like I mentioned if I wanna my stealthy GhostFace just because one survivor bring OOO should not break my whole stealth based gameplay however when SWF with some comms came in that situation now I got 4 survivors that knew my whole position and from that point I am just M1 killer. You are a Wraith main from what I understand and I think that you can understand what stealth means for you and imagine a situation if that "stealth" is no longer useful for you which your power relies on. Yes you can still win the match but at what cost? Being only M1 killer in some mathes ruin my fun in that situation. I dont care ranks, win or loses I care about learning and having fun. Sadly some SWF's really destroy my fun and I dont think they gave any experiences during our matches.

I am a devotion 11 killer main with fewer than 100 or so hours in survivor.

I don't care about your "official" I struggle to find survivors who challenge me at all and have more than 1000 hours in rank 1 (not that that matters because I find "good survivors" and "bad survivors" at every rank and fluctuate wildly based on how hard I slug so trust me, I know)

I usually go hundreds of games between escapes and since christmas, playing DBD every single day for at least a few hours exactly 2 games involved people getting away from me, much of this was played with lower - mid tier killers like legion, wraith and plague.

Killer is WAY harder than survivor, it's not equal effort to reward and i'd even say that not everyone can do it BUT I do think it's either very close or the stronger role and the game is better balanced when you have 4 sweaty survivors on tight coms (Not playing with their friends but trying to use the coms to play efficiently and win) than it is without.

I regularly play against 4 man PC swfs who lose at 5 gens, and just 2 streams ago one such lobby brought 3 medkits and a key and was already rank 1 again despite the reset.

That game was played as wraith of all killers, arguably the weakest non trickster killer in the entire roster.

    @TTV_WAWAbyWibWib said:

I like the idea of giving 4 man swf 4 party streamers a lot, to encourage grouping that way because the good teams who DID run with the same people all the time would always have whatever items they want and survivors could start farming blood points as aggressively as killers already do! I love all the random, powerful stuff survivors can bring into the lobby that change the way they and I get to play and if I started seeing people come in all prepared that would be a lot of fun.

A lot of killers, and I am one of them, like playing killer because it's a more challenging role. Items like syptic agents and BNPs help to make it that challenging role and make meaningful differences on a game to game basis.

I am gonna write one by one. I am killer player myself and while I dont have that many hours like you and I am also mixage of survivor player and got like 420-430 hours ( Plus I get small-big breaks during that times). With rank reset I am rank 5-6 killer btw( I dont play the game after rank reset mostly and gave some break).

-First of all I agree that a group of survivors are always better than solo because most of the solo survivors play selfish and does not give challange at all. SWF are not left man behind and they play more brave, protective and helpful.

-Killer is def way harder than survivor because you are not teamed and you are againts 4 man group so it is obv that it is harder.

    - I also feel like you when I won the match so easily because eventhough I lost some matches some challenges are way more better and fun to play.

-The thing is there are 2 SWF groups in my opinion. The one SWF is just group of people that does not use comms or use it barerly. I support this SWF and me and my friends are in that category. We win 6-7/10 matches without comms and we dont know our perks, our locations or killer's location and etc... Eventhough we uses comms we do not use it for huge advantages and mostly it is basic stuff like "Hey I am doing gen", "Ohh the killer is X killer", "Killer is good/bad" and etc...

-Other SWF is the ones that use comms for full advantage and while you said you like them either you are getting used to gameplay or you really dont have bad experience with them. One time I was playing Ghostface and as everybody know Ghostface is relying on his stealth due to his power. One person in SWF bring the OOO(Thanks BHVR for changing that perk) and told my location all the time to his/her teammate and that is not a fun game for me because this was not a competition or challenge for me but was pointless. If only she knew my location I would be happy but imagine 4 man groups always know your location and you are stealth based killer which I think you can understand.

Overall I agree most of your points and yes people should create SWF but that SWF must have some boundries.

  • Well idk what to say. I usually play killer at purple-red ranks and I feel the same way as you. Most of my matches I faced againts instant gen pops, SWF that uses OOO(Thank you BHVR for changing that by the way) to tell my every movement to one ot each other and so forth. Most of the matches did not last long than 4-5 mins and for slowing the game down with certain killers I have to use perks like Corrupt,Pop and etc... which does not let me different perks and etc...

I play survivor side to and I know solo surv is pain and what I do is team up with people that I met during matches. We team up together with no comms so we dont know each other's perks and etc.. but still manage really good results. The real problem of the game is I think is that ranking is really easy at some points and after some decent rank it turned into nightmare. As both survivor and killer you can rank up easily with some lucky matches and even you can rise to rank 1 at both if you faced againts groups that is not as good as you and that happens quite a lot ( Rank unbalance issues at nights) . I dont think this problem will be solved directly with new system but my only hope is that they will manage some changes and improvement with it.

Rank 1 killer with 10k hours and same rank with 400 hours should be divided in different category. Same applies for survivor side as well.

  • Well welcome to the DBD where you will face againts them no matter which rank you are. My advice accept it. With new MMR coming it will be finished soon I hope but for now the secret is accepting this situation. Just play your game and try to enjoy it. If you suspect that the lobby that you enter is gonna be messy for you dodge that lobby. For example I dodge lobbies where there are 2 or more toolboxes due to gen speeds. Try to stay calm and enjoy your game. For map offerings try to burn map offering as well or use green hand offering which ignores all map offerings.

  • Whisperer like everybody mentioned is quiet nice and you can also use Spies from Shadows to understand where survivors are running and can prepare your hatchet shots. Bitter Murmur is quite useful for the same reason as Spies from Shadows. I found "I am all Ears" to quite useful againts jungle-gyms so that I can see survivors which is also nice. The perks you should be selecting should be a perk where you can detect survivors faster and for that my advices are;

    -Whisper

    -Spies From Shadows

    -I am all Ears

    -Bitter Murmur

  • Well I am gonna see the map when it's released right now it is artwork and it looks good but I am not sure how it is gonna affect some killers and survivors. We shall see that when they released it.

  • If all of your teammates are hanged once or twice it is better to take the responsibility of the keep busy the killer. Because you are the healthy one and you are far more away to death than your friends and it is a valid strategy for survivors. However you must calculate the timing of that and make sure that you are not hooked during dire situations so that the killer would not use you as bait to get others.

  • Coup De Grace if you want crazy lunge attacks. He has already quite a lung and with that perk it is like wow.

  • Well if you dont want to play againts SWF and suspect that lobby is SWF just dodge that lobby. Plus not all SWF's are known their perks and use comms. I am a killer main mostly but sometimes I am play survivor with my friends that I met during solo matches. We dont use any communication and we dont talk about their perks and etc.... We just enter the match and play our game and I can say that we won 6-7/10 matches which is quite nice I think. Not all SWF uses comms to gain advantage or know each other's perks. Moreover I also hate the logic that "If there is no killer survivor would not play". The same applies for killers because "If there is no survivor then killer would not play".

First of all like I mentioned not all SWF's are using comms or known each other's perks. There are groups like that which are just met during solo matches and teamed up. Yes there are tryhards that are using comms and gain huge advantage which I dont support that idea but if you are suspecting that the lobby you entered is SWF then dodge it. For example I am dodging lobbies where there is 2 or more toolboxes because I already found the gens fast and does not want rushers gameplay. I agree that game is not balanced for ranking system and you will be faced againts more experienced survivors most of the time. Yes there are problem but nerfing SWF is not a solution.

If I wanted to play with my friends why I am penalized for not found keys, slower gen speeds and etc... This is not a solution but it is a way to say that "Dont play with your friends and never group up or you will pay prices". At most of the time SWF is not the problem for killers actually. Some maps in that game are really huge and some killers does not have pressure gens mechanics which causes them to lose their game againts a good group of survivor team. What the Devs should do is that making some maps more balanced and making buff some killer mechanics so that they can pressure the gens at large maps.

  • Well DS was never an option for anti-tunnell nor solution. It is a psychological effect that we are seen right now. Before the nerf if I wanted to tunnell somebody I would eat DS and keep chasing that survivor. DS would only gave them some escape chance and 5-6 secs. With new DS it is nearly same. The irony is that now the DS is nerfed the killer thought tunneling is easier but the funny thing is before the nerf it was also easier to achieve that. Sadly there is nothing you can do againts tunneling, slugging and camping. If the killer wanted to play that way he will play that way. The best thing you can do is be better than him so that he cant hit you, get you and etc.... The best solution is that accept that there would be killer players like that and they will be using these methods.

  • It is a well known bug. Even at some twitchers reported it so they will be fixing it soon I hope.

  • Guess what? People are not kind and they are rude in real life to. The anonymity of the internet gave them even superior ways to insult and bully others. So whatever game you go there will be people like that. Yes in some games there are more and in some games there are less but there are people like that. I even saw some people to decreased their ranks so that they can bully new killers which I found stupid but they enjoyed that. My advice if you faced againts them ignore them. You are here to play your game and yes they will be disturbing you but hey enjoy your game. At the end chat just ignore them and even make sarcastic comments like "OP survivor beats me baby killer", "I am ez Noob haha you pro". They enjoy the game if they feel like you have been triggered. You can win or lose it does not matter for them, what it matters is that did they triggered you. So dont trigger againts them.

He's got 7k hours in the game, and faces people with 2k hours (average top survivor hours).

    And it's his lively hood.

And he's a top killer player.

And he doesn't 4k every game, in fact in his 50 wins in a row he loses to keys and hatch a lot.

He doesn't just get 4ks, but he classed wins as 3k and hatch, or a draw (happens a few times in his match's on stream) 2 k and 3 hatch.

Yeah, so not only is this lies, but it's also because he's got an extreme amount of hours in the game. If you had that much and faced average survivors I'd expect a lot of 4ks

and yet Otz to name one 4k's just about all the time, riddle me that batman

Just like 2-3 days ago I faced againts Otz as survivor. He was playing the twins and I was an average survivor main. I normally play killer so I was not that experienced. Dont get me wrong for what I am gonna write I really love Otz and he is one of the reason that I bought this game and playing but during that match I assume he was trying to do 50 kill streaks with Twins what he do is sent Victor to us and Charlotte was waiting close to the hooks. He told that during his stream we did get greedy and not saved our teammates but the thing is I did not known that while having victor you can still save your teammates due to inexperience and he was waiting with her other twins so it is camping actually and when I go to save my teammates I get the Victor after a short time so he was protecting his hooks. I am not saying he is a bad killer or player which he is not but if he wasnt using that method we would have giving him some hard times and maybe even escape(Not all of us but maybe 1-2 person). The thing is game can turned upside down if you try to not camp or tunnell sometimes. I am rank 2-3 killer main and sometimes if I try to play fair while I get hooks the game will finish so fast that I dont even understand how sometimes. The thing is once you get the known the game it is 4vs1 match and survivor have the upper hand and even sometimes professional like Otz needs to camp and tunnell for that same reason due to upper hand.

imo Beast of Prey is fine, now Territorial Imperative, that could do with some help

I am just gonna say Territorial Imperative with Demomorgon. It is really amazing with that killer is you manage to hang people to basement and using his teleports to go to basement as soon as you saw someone to enter for save.

I know he is a really professional killer main but watch this to understand that better 😀

  • Solo is fine. The problem that causes are the players that you get teamed. If they play selfish or bad it affects all the team. For SWF the scenario is different because people dont left their friends behind and make more bold actions. My advice for you is play solo and analyze good players. Then ask them to join you. With that method I collect like 3-4 different groups that I can play which I knew they wont leave me behind and do their jobs. We dont even use comms or tell each other's perks and get 6-7/10 win rates.

  • For Dead Hard there is only one side that I dont like which is people uses DH for dodge the traps. Yes sometimes it makes sense to player instantly dash to a point to stop getting hit but traps?!! I mean why DH dodge the traps. In logical way you are stepping the trap but traps are not worked. If they should fix it I would be grateful for that perk.

  • I use Iron Maiden with Huntress and I can guarentee that she reload faster. For Trickster I have no idea.

  • The irony is that DS was never an anti-tunnell perk. The killer can still eat DS and then chases you. DS was never the solution of tunneling but since the DS nerf many killers start to tunnell more and many survivors just stop using it. If you are unhooked and worried that killer will take you then DS is still a valuable perk why not use it? Ds nerf affect the both side more psychologically. I mean DS is still the same if you are unhooked and killer can still eat DS and after small stun he can chase you. I understand your problem but DS not before and after was the solution of tunnelers. If the killer decided to tunnell you, you will be tunneled.

  • I think that using Object of Obsession would be really pissing the killers off. It is a deadaway perk againts Trapper,Hag,Ghostface,Myers and any killer that requires stealth and suprise attacks. If you really wanna piss killers use OOO .

  • I took a break once like you. And to be honest I found the best solution is that taking short but steady breaks. Most of the time I take 2-3 days break then play 2-3 days and repeating that cycle. Trust me it is better. Also during my solo gameplays I managed to collect some survivor friends and sometimes we do custom modes together where one person is killer and other's survivors and having fun together. Good luck with your break and hope that you will came more happier 😁

  • Game does not look at if you escaped or not. You cant hang nobody as killer but they all can still dead at EGC due to timer. Does that mean you did a great job as killer since all of them are dead? No it does not. Same applies for survivor side. If you only do gens and just escape without chases and etc... you are not a good survivor. Game encourage people to play againts killers, entering chases with killers and etc... If you manage to escape killers many times, save your teammates and doing objectives then you are a good survivor. It makes sense that these guys lose depip which they only did is doing gens and nothing more.

I don't think the issue is that it's OP; you are correct, it is not. Powerful, but not insane. The problem is, it is unhealthy, bad killers rely on it and never improve because of it. As you say, you rarely see it at higher ranks because most killers there don't need it, but when you come across a Killer at red rank that DOES have it, it becomes quickly clear by their play style that it has carried them there. They don't know how to pressure gens, they under perform in chases and will chase a single survivor indefinitely knowing they don't need to worry because NOED will help them catch up when they inevitably fail to prevent the gens being repaired.

I have never, ever played against a skilled high rank player who ended up having NOED, outside of meme builds. I do, however, hear the words "S/he isn't very good, they probably have NOED". So I can understand peoples frustration when they have out performed for 90% of the game and then suddenly the killer is getting gifted kills based on a single perk that requires nothing other than a lack of coordination/hastiness on survivor side.

The counter arguments are pretty flawed too. Maps are pretty rare on the bloodweb, and the green one doesn't even track totems by default. Small game and detectives hunch are decent, but Small game doesn't help you keep track of how many totems have been destroyed, and both are dependent on you not being hooked/chased.

Even with them, you can miss totems if they are at the other side of map etc and you have a team with no comms, it is a nightmare.

I can agree with your idea which is correct in my opinion. However for totem spawns at least from my experience at some maps they have spawn at same places. At most of the maps I can find 2-3 totems without even searching them properly. So if you know the map finding totems are not that problem at some point. I assume people who just play survivors have better knowledge of totem spawns than I have.

  • NOED is not an "OP" perk. It is a perk that you can only use during endgame which means during all the match you reserve one of your perk for endgame which maybe you are not gonna be needed. Yes it is frustrating to lose a game because of NOED but on the other hand the killer did not use one of his power during whole game and because of that reason I can say that NOED is a situational perk and not "OP" perk. Being a good survivor means trying to understand the killer's perks and assume the possibilities. Like killer carry people faster so he uses Agitation, the killer came to us when we working with gens as group that means he has discordance, killer came silently during the end of the gen that means he has Tinkerer, after he hooked somebody he managed to find me so he has BBQ and so forth.... As a survivor you should try to understand his perks and depends of that situation be preapared for suprise perks like Devour or NOED. Whenever I am playing survivor I always cleanse totems due to chance of NOED and plus it gives me points which is fair.

Overall if you lose a match because of NOED well you lose it. It's simple as that. You can loop the killer, let him chase you for 5 mins, being great at saves, repairs and etc... but you can lose because of not cleansing totems. When it comes to killer I saw people are commenting like "Killer did mistake so killer loses","He chased me for 4-5 min and that is why he lose","He was not pressuring gens so he lost the match". The Noed is the answer of "You did not cleanse totem and now you lose the match". It is that pure and simple. You did mistake and lose the match by not cleansing totems. Does it harsh? Yes it is harsh but it is a game where element of suprise can affect the whole game.

Note: I play both sides. I dont rely on NOED and I dont see many killer uses NOED especially at high ranks.

  • Well while sometimes I play killer I let some people to earn that achievement due to its hard nature and I think I gave 10 maybe more person to get that achievement but for no help it is hard one. The best scenario is while killer is hanged the 2nd alive survivor and he is dead then in 5 secs you finish the last generator and it will trun into find the hatch and open the gates game. Otherwise it is quiet a hard achievement and hard to get due to its nature. When you stay 1vs1 your best bet is hatch and if you dont get it you mostly lose.
