Could combo it with ds and just crawl out. If close enough to the gate.
Ds is a perk that is supposed to protect you from tunneling not exactly the free "get out of the jail" card. Plus if you do not die the killer would have understand you have that perk and he will be careful about it. It is not a perk for endgame where there is only 1 surv and 1 killer left. It is a perk for saving precious time of your teammates.
-
When I understand that I am againts really high ranks with 2-3 toolboxes plus the SWF with comms I was like "Oh ... here we go again!"". That makes me want to quit.
As survivor when the killer chased me like 2-3 minutes and no gens popped.
-
Well while I agree with you the real problem is if you are not gonna be killed due to your Deliverance, the killer will known that you have that perk and act according to it. Moreover most of the killer are usually facecamp the last survivor that they hanged as game finished so even if you manage to use it the perk will be pointless again. Deliverance is for hook exchanges and save time for your teammates so that they will do gens other than saving you.
-
Well if you wanna play him then dont overthink it and buy him. I mean not everything is win-lose or ranks. I am mostly play Legion cause he is fun in my opinion even though there are better killers. To be honest I did not even lose most of my games ( I am rank 7 killer). I also play Ghostface cause I love him not because of anything else. If you like the style, if you like the overall idea just play the killer and dont overthink it.
If you want my overall idea for the Trickster I found him more suitable for console players since they aim harder than pc players. You can spam his knives which is kinda nice and does not require direct hits. It is not punishing you for misses. But when there is Huntress and if you are good at her I dont see him that unique or strong killer. However he is not a bad killer and I think he will be at least mid-high tier kind of killer. That is my opinion

Thank you! Sometimes I can't help but feel bad for both survivors and killers as I play both sides and know the frustrations of each side lol. Appreciate it
I feel you. I play both sides as well. I understand how you feel but trust me what you did what not even I call "dirty gaming". Survivors sometimes trust their perks a lot or underestimated the killer and that is why they tried to do in your case. They thought you will pick her up, eat DS,she will rescue her friend then they will escape. They pay their own mistake.
-
Your game your style. To be honest you did what most of the killer would have been doing. In that scenario Claudette was trying to abuse her "2nd chance" just because she can. I mean you did the smart thing. If they want to play relentless and reckless it is their problem not yours. What you did was nor toxic or bad and any killer will do the same. Just play and enjoy your game.
-
Sadly they are really random. Most of the hex perks are either survive long or destroyed during the start of the match. Moreover an experienced survivors who memorizes maps can find them without any problems. I am mostly play killer but I also play survivor and even with my small times with survivor's gameplay I start to memorize some locations of the totem spawns. Imagine a survivor mains who only play survivor and have more than 1000h+.
For information I got 364 hours and while I play both sides I am killer main mostly and even I start to memorize. Do the math 😯

Ok but the real question is, how the ######### tetris is an noob game
I know right. I was shocked when I saw that.
-
I dont think they will change the main system of the keys. There are achievements about the hatch escape with keys so overall it wont change. They can only add some small 2-3 secs open animation for the hatch with the key but it is core will stay.
-
It reminds me one of my matches where I was in one of the Thompson House map. I was playing Huntress and when 3-4 gen lefts I killed 3 survivor and hooked them 11 times and the last survivor was only 1 hook left for her dead. My rank was like 9-10 at that time and survivor ranks are from what I remember are like between 4-8. The last one found the hatch before I found it and he was waiting there t-bagging me. After the game finished I saw chat like "GG EZ","HAHA LOSER NOOB","LEARN THE PLAY THE GAME","I WON NOOB" but the most favourite thing that was written is "GO PLAY SOME NOOB GAME LIKE TETRIS" . I mean I am gonna pass the fact that I destroyed them, hooked them 11 times but the thing that disturb me most during his writing is that when was the tetris became a noob game. This was the insult that I remember.
So overall just laugh them like I did and dont underestimate the sacred "TETRIS".

This is not good because there are groups which are playing together and does not do comms(Maybe few but they exist). Giving killer the haste and movement speed can broke the balance. Fixing the problem can be turn into another unbalancing. For SWF sadly none of the game can put up a real solution. In any online game there are groups that will use comms and I know in this game stealth is quite important but people will abuse 3rd party softwares and there are some which they dont but most of them will do. For now the best thing you can do is if you suspect that you are againts SWF you can always dodge the lobby.
-
SWF with comms can beat the killer most of the time. There are other factors like killer and maps but overall communication gives huge advantage to the survivors. That is why solo queue have harder time at most of the game but with comms you can play safer.
I dont think none of them are "OP". I play both killer and survivor (rank 7-8 at both) and I can say that map designs are the problem most of the time especially for killers. Killers need to pressure but some maps are not helping for that unless you get high mobility or aggressive killers like Billy,Blight,Spirit,Nurse and etc... Maps should be smaller or needs some reworks
SWF while is not "OP" has the advantage. Their comms can be quite deadly if you play stealth based killer like Ghostface,Myers and etc... Even for aggressive killers comms can be powerful but not that much.
Overall SWF with comms have advantage but that is it. There is no "OP" side at the game.
-
NOED is not a big dealer. It is a toxic perk that can change the game but it is only active once all gens are completed. It hurts the gen rushers mostly that only doing gen and forgot the dull totems. As a survivor yes escaping is your main priority and repairing gens is a must however when people use NOED I saw them like "we did all game great and 1 perk ruined us" and etc... Sorry but if you only do gens and not thinking about future it is not the NOED that should be punished it is you sadly.
@JawsIsTheNextKiller said:
Survivors that say it is fine don't play solo.
I play solo all the time as survivor and I am rank 7-8 surv. I also play killer and it is also same ranks. I am always %100 solo at both teams and whenever I found dull totem I cleanse it for NOED or extra BP. Solo can be playable actually and I think it is the true form of the game. NOED is not OP for solo neither a lame perk for SWF. It is a situational perk and not a great one.
Overall NOED is fine.
-
I like it. It is especially good for fast mobility. Most of the time when I hit survivor with thrown axe I normally start to chase another one that is close by and that can help that. Good idea mate.
-
The Game map is hated by both side. As both survivor and killer main I really hate that map cause it is really bad for both side in my opinion. But probably it will not be fixed soon sadly. My only hope is not spawn in that map.

@KingFrost said:
Generator speeds aren't the problem. The problem is that most killers lack early game pressure. Survivors can split up early game, and work on multiple generators and spread out across the map working on gens with zero pressure on them. At which point, there's not much the killer can do. Killers have no idea where survivors spawned in, and can only really take an educated guess. Especially on a map like Red Forest. Gen speeds are fine. The lack of early game pressure available to killers is not.
I agree with you and I think that the real problem that causes is the map sizes. Maps should be smaller and more easier to patrol so that there should be real pressure.
Other than that the 3-4 toolboxes team with Brand-New addon + Prove Thyself also problematic and can be broken the balance and there needs some works to that add-ons. They are I think as bad as previous Ebony Mori which is not fun. Also ranks should be more balanced and I know that BHVR decided to do something about it which is nice and I just hope it will be balanced cause especially for my region at night times ranks are really unbalanced. I know ranks are not everything but there are reasons for rank system and at night games it is not working properly.

It's not even that Otz is some messiah of video games, it's literally just because the average team in this game is bad.
He's definitely gone against some decent survivors, and those are obviously the games that have come close, but once you go against a REAL team, whether or not you're a DBD genius, you are losing as Plague.
On ALL of his other winstreak losses with Plague (I believe he might've had 3-4?), the games that lost him the streak were literally just games with real teams, and for at least one, a bad map to combo with it. I know he lost on old Ormond once, which was very likely a good part of the reason why he lost. You're not winning against an actual good team with that killer, despite her being pretty strong and Otz being a good player.
He can't make a 50 win streak using a potato. However, he can make a 50 winstreak if 95% of his games are against potatoes. I'm suspecting that this type of stuff isn't gonna be possible with MMR judging by how well it actually worked (until people like Dowsey, who got 200 wins with Twins, reached extremely high MMR with a killer to the point where he was being matched with nobody but a comp team that sniped him - and otz is gonna have the SAME thing with Plague if they don't fix that).
By no means do I think Otz is a bad Plague player or bad player in general, but the 50-100 winstreak is half on him being a good player, and half on him being lucky that he hasn't gotten a team that's as sweaty as him in his past 100 games with Plague.
I agree with you about that. I saw real teams smash most of the killer mains but my point is Plague is not weak. Yes a new system like level 1-2-3 sickness can be nice and it can add some excitement. Plague is not a bad killer and I think she does not need some buff. Most of the time maps are problems for many killers. Some maps have quite large and have really strong jungle gyms and loops. I mean there should be some strong loops but at some maps there is no mindgame or tactics you can do againts. The real problem with Plague is the real problem to all killers which is unbalanced map designs.
-
I agree some ideas about the DH. DH can be sometimes toxic perk to use and it really is "get out of the jail" card for survivors. Many exhaustion perks are about getting instant distance by running, stunning the killer or simply vaulting while DH is something different which counters the hits. It is not a big problem in my opinion but sometimes I saw really broken ways of DH such as dodging traps which I think should not be happened just because you use DH or just instant dash to killer's location but killer cannot even hit because it is just DH. There should be some logical rework at DH. It is a nice perk, its idea is nice but in some logical ways it is broken and needs fixes at that points. Other than that it is fine.
-
I know your pain and sadly my advice is push harder. This is the system and Devs know it. They will fix it and they even made some moves for it like new MMR system tests and etc.... You need to rank up and learn to face them because they will always be there. I am rank 7-8 killer and there will be at least 2-3 sometimes all 4 survivors are red ranks. When I was 10 it was also nearly same so overall you get used to it. Just enjoy your game and dont overthink your rank try to enjoy it. Other than that I hope that they will fix it soon cause it is quite a well known and common problem.

Otz just got 100 win streak with her btw
Otz plays the game since release and it's a job for him. This guy can make 50 win streak by using potato only. He knows maps, players and etc... cause he spents most of his time with the game since it's his job.

Plague is a very underwhelming killer that is rarely seen these days. It sucks because her power can be limited by people who don’t want to cleanse and would rather just gen rush, making gameplay as and against her very boring. So I have a proposed solution to push gameplay to be more around her corrupt purge instead of her vile purge.
Survivors who become sick suffer from 3 phases of sickness. The sickness is similar to doctor’s madness, in that survivors tier up the more sick they allow themselves to become (through running & interactions or allowing Plague to vomit on them). In tier 1 of sickness, the survivor begins coughing loudly, making them vulnerable to being found while hiding near Plague. In tier 2, they become broken until cleansed (as normal) and begin emitting a green sickness cloud that floats significantly further above them than it currently does (making it easier for them to be spotted). In tier 3 of sickness, survivors can no longer interact with anything (besides rescuing survivors off hooks) and must cleanse. They also begin vomiting excessively and this inflicts the oblivious status on them. In general, going from tier 1 to 2 to 3 should also be a tad bit quicker than it currently is.
As for base number changes for Plague, her vile purge should be slightly more effective than it currently is because it takes a lot of vomit hit directly on the survivor to make them sick currently. Her movement speed when charging her vomit should also increase slightly. And finally, her charge mechanic should be tweaked a bit to where you don’t experience accidental vomit cancellations (similar to old Bubba cancellation problems being fixed).
I think Plague could be a very fun killer is her power was done some justice. I feel like the solution I provided would be relatively simple to implement, and would make her more popular again.
I dont know why many people dont play Plague but she is a strong killer and she can punish survivors that do not cleanse. However I love your idea about the killer cause it might be quite enjoyable to see something new and that can shine the Plague even more but I think that she is strong already. I am not gonna say she is OP cause she is not but she is def one of the strong killer in the game.
-
It start with %100 regression and each level of it increases it. At level 2 it is %150 and at level 3 it is %200. It is depends of the tier level of the perk.
Level 1 = %100 regression
Level 2= %150 regression
Level 3= %200 regression
-
Sadly none of them are solution. People camp because at some parts survivor get the advantage and for closing the gap killer must do camps. I play both killer and surv. Sometimes I camp even though I dont like it but I must do it. We all know rank systems and the team can be much higher than your level and sometimes there can be groups which abuse everything like communication, map offerings, 2-3 toolboxes with brand news and so forth... Some maps are really killer sided while some of them are surv sided and many maps are either really big for pressure plus most of the killer does not have enough mobility to pressure some maps. Overall solution for all these things are really good balanced maps where some maps are smaller, some bigger than normal and increased-decreased pallets, jungle gym and etc...
Other than that many beginner killer level that try to learn the game sadly do facecamp and it is normal. They should not be punished for learning the ropes of the DBD.
-
First of all check the conditions. Oblivious worked when you are "inside the terror radius". So if you ask perks like Kindred,BBQ and etc.. they will work if you are not in the Terror Radius. It is all about the killer's Terror Radius it is not fully cloak the killer.
-
Bubba is one of the easy killers to use and his chainsaw can one shot survivors which is a great tool for pressure. He is quite simple killer and his BBQ&Chili is one of the best perk for both BP farming and found survivors. His other perks are kinda ok as well. His add-ons are really good for him and make him even more dangerous. So here is why many killer use Bubba's
-
That is I think also a problem. Some maps need some rework and I agree with your point. Jungle Gyms should be powerful but not that much and it is sadly abused by many survivor which I do not blame them for doing it. Game should adjust map sizes and the looping ares.
-
I dont know your rank and the hours that you play but I can say that when you rank up you will see how the survivors are crushing the killer in most of the matches. There are powerful killers and I think that only problematic killer is Spirit due to her nature but other than that you can counter all the other killers with smart tactics. I am not gonna say one side is more powerful than other but most of the time due to map sizes and designs survivors have the upper hand but that is it.
-
You should finish the gen which will power the exit gates. So it must be the last gen. For how to people earn that achievement is that during my gameplays as killer if I like the survivor and if there is one gen left I let him to do it then let him escape from gates. Other than that it is kinda hard achievement.

It could be quite useful against what a lot of people moan about ..... tunnelling. If a killer tries to tunnel you, you could jump in a locker and at least try and get him to leave whilst you're blocked inside. Would need a longer blocking in period, say 20, 30, 40 secs.
Well for tunneling there is DS already. Also if the killer is really passionate about to tunnell you trust me he will wait that time.
-
They say random but they dont say "fair" . There are different algorithms that you can apply. Think it as possibilites. For example I dont want BBQ to spawn at shrine that much so I can give it a smaller probability like 0.2 for example while I gave other perks 0.8. I dont think they are choosing by their hand but they sure did touch some results. At programming it is easy to give different values and weights so that some perks will be spawn more while others will have less chance.

this is unnecessary just fix gen speeds all together. I cant stop bringing perks to accommodate to gen speeds
Gen speeds are actually not problem and ı wrote a thing about gen speeds. I understand that overall problem is the map size and some killer's map pressure ratings. They should buff some killers and change/rework maps.
@dspaceman20 said:
Hex: Impediment
A hex that stops the survivors from progressing further through the trial.
Once 1 generator is left to be repaired this hex is activated and is transferred to a random dull totem.
Any generator that reaches 75% progress or more will automatically be blocked by the entitiy for 30/40/50 seconds or until the hex is destroyed.
The blocked generator will be shown to you in a white aura
Solitude
You do everything in your power to escape persecution.
When you enter a locker press the activate ability button to call apon the entity to block the locker your in for 15/20/25 seconds.
During this time you cannot be taken out or leave the locker until the timer is done.
Solitude has a cooldown of 25 seconds after leaving the locker.
How are these ideas.
For your ideas brother I dont like the Solitude only. Impediment seems cool since it is hex it is kinda fair in my opinion. For Solitude I dont think it will be that useful perk cause killer can just ignore you and came back later. I am not say it is bad but not that good in my opinion
-
Point of the new DS is to stop it from being an abuse. Many people sadly abused it and there are really bad logical errors in current DS. I dont know how to new one will be doing but the old DS is not something that I support. However if you increase the new timer of the updated DS it will be just like the old one. The point of the DS is to punish the killer for chasing newly unhooked survs. However there are many situations where sometimes there will be only 1 person left and he just newly unhooked and has DS. Overall I really support the new DS and if its timer will increase it will be pointless.
-
I see people voted Trapper and like wow. I dont know how it is gonna be happen with update but Wraith is quite weak. He is the true definition of M1 killer only. His power is not that special and he cant finish loops, pressure gens and etc with his base power and perks.

Except they turned it already off again since the test was only 24 hours?
Well I dont know when he put that screenshot or take it so I assume it was from MMR.
-
Welcome to the DBD's new MMR system where the killer has its own rank. It is at the learning phase and in that phase it is kinda normal. I know it sucks but when you try to add new mechanic to the game it needs random data to learn and that was necessary to do it. I hope after all this effort there will be really good system which is more fair.
-
Well there is a thing which we called "mistake" . A really good survivor teams while dangreous are also more braver and take more risks which you can turn the tables. I am not that suprised actually. Also there are map factors, overall connections and etc... So overall yes you can beat people with Clown even at high ranks with the proper map, proper equipments and luck. Other than that SWF is strong but mistakes of the group can be punished much more easily due to their more brave nature and trusting the comms. And I think that ranks are not mean anything in here cause they can be 500 hours survivor while you are maybe 1500 hours killer or they came back from a long break and decided to play again.
-
I dont know why people are really complain about Freddy. I am killer main mostly but also play surv ( I am rank 7-8) and I can say that Freddy is not even my first choice as killer. Yes his lunge attack is strong but I mean he is not that OP kind of thing. I think that only Spirit is problematic due to her nature not even the Nurse which you can do something. I dont know what kind of nerf is Freddy gonna be faced but I really dont understand about him being an OP killer. I think that he is a little bit stronger than average
-
Takes no skill!!! Are they for real? Plag need skills. First of all she does not strong during early and late game so whatever you do you are doing at mid-game mostly. Secondly there are 2 different Plag styles one of them is survivor that cleanse and one type is survivor that stay injured so with Plag builds you are mostly 50-50 and toss coin. She is tall and when she use corrupt purge she leaves trails which can be seen easily across map and destroy her hide ability. She is different and strong but can be countered.
-
Well it is called "Lady Luck" . Overall most of the survivors that play good and organized are SWF teams. Other than that the others are mostly playing selfish sadly. I play solo survivor only and unless I get 2-3 SWF there are few matches I saw really good survivor. Also I play killer and I can say that most of the surv teams are well organized. It is about rank, teams and bit of luck.
-
I think that there should be none vote to map nor offerings. It should be pure random. Especially at high ranks I start to see Haddonfield offering a lot and for many killers that map is nightmare. They should remove map offerings and map should be random. I remember a day where survivor teams sent me to Haddonfield 5-6 times in a row and I was like "NOOOOOO NOT AGAIN".
-
1-With the new DS perk idk how it is gonna be ended.
2-Dead Hard is fine.
3-I found self care kinda useless. I mean you can always bring med-kit or open chest and found one. Also you are using Iron will which is already will stop your moans.
4-Iron Will is really good perk.
For tough loop situations I can suggest you "Dance With Me" which lets you leave no scratch marks for some amount and with the combination of Iron Will it can save you.
-
I understand why you wanted it. Sadly at higher ranks most of the people play the same killer over and over to protect their ranks. However survivor are also doing kinda same things and they always run the classic perks. Best solution is however not the ban but make maps smaller so that weak killers can pressure maps. Most of the killers have problem to pressure gens and map pressure and there are only few killers that can do it which are played mostly. I love to play killers like Legion,Wraith and etc... but it can be pain sometimes at high ranks(I am rank 7-8 killer). Best solution is smaller maps and rework for some killers.
-
Well I dont try to camp or tunnel but I agree that gens can be done easily by good survivors. If I see a lobby that brings 2-3 toolboxes then I will be toxic as hell or dodge lobby. There should be another mechanic about gens. For the beginner level survs that is fine but as you get experienced and knew the map it is harder to pressure. Especially some maps are really large. I think that maps should be smaller and it will solve most of the problems.
-
For me doing objectives, killer chases and save-heal teammates so overall be a good teammate. There are matches where 3 person escaped and I died because of after 3-4 min chase killer decided to face camp me. Is that a lost for me since my main goal is escape? I think not. Being a good teammate is win for me. Other than that I feel lost when I escape with a little to no effort cause that was the team that achieved it.
Overall dont overthink and just do your job as survivor. Being a good teammate is always a win in my opinion no matter how that is gonna be ended.
-
Unbreakable is fine I think. It gives to escape if the killer decided to slug everybody which is nice. Other than that most of the killer does not slug their targets that much or use the slugging survivor as a trap so that others will come and heal him.
-
BBQ will give you ideas about where the survivors are and if you cant see them you will mostly know that either they are hiding or they are close which will make your job easier especially during 1 survivor left. Thrilling is also quite nice and I used it with BBQ mostly. But overall BBQ is better in my idea.
-
Well I agree some of your ideas but not all of them.
1st about Freddy is that he is powerful but he has a really good counter. He has salty add-ons but secret is staying awake. He is not that OP and powerful killer. Yes he is strong but he is not that "ohh danger".
Huntress got many problems due to her collison box. Sometimes you can dodge stupid hatches due to that like people just crouched over pallet and you cant hit. Also latency affects many factor during Huntress matches and that is also another reason why you get shot from walls.
SWF is not problem but I agree that comms are problems and there are some groups that really abuses it and gain a huge advantage over killer. Play with your friends but at least keep the comms minimal.
Spirit is hard to counter sadly and from what I heard there is gonna be some update about her and Huntress. For the Nurse there are ways that you can counter like using the sides of the map and etc...
Dead Hard is not a bad perk but there should be some conditions about it I think. Other than that it is fine in my opinion.
Iron Will is I think ok and it never fully affects my game. There are times that saves survivor but mostly and injured survivor can be found my their bloods.
Totem perks are gambit but the problems are their spawn places. Some totems are really obv which is stupid I think.
Noed is fine I think. You can say that it is salty but if you only genrush and ignore the NOED possibility it will punish you and not many high rank killer uses it so it is mostly for the newbie killer.
-
I tried that perk and you wil not get blind by the effect. Only a little bit blur animation will be happened when they use their flaslights and the aura of the survivor will be showed to you for certain amount of secs.
-
I dont know where you live and I am also rank 7-10 killer and survivor. Whenever I enter at nights survivor waiting times are really long. For the killer it is quite opposite and less than 30 secs I found a match. I think at night most of SWF came and this breaks the lobby time. So my advice is just wait if you are playing at night or change your play time for less waiting time.
-
Any killer that has ability to instadown are dangerous and powerful. Oni is one of that killer but for his power he needs to hit the survivor first. A smart survivor can easily dodge and loop him. He is strong but I cant say he is OP. I think that OP killers are those that can both instadown or stop the infinite loops easily just with his-her power.
