  • You are at weekend which now SWF groups are more so there is not enough killer to find for lobbies so they just put random ranks to random ranks. It is hard for rank 16 killer to face againts red ranks but like @JPA mentioned the faster you see what is coming the better I think. If you want to try not the play killer at weekends and at night times because that times are the ones when survivors are marching and system can be really unbalanced.

  • Maybe a killer that is really have a weakness againts flashlights and his special power turns him into an army of bats. Any time he attacks survivors with his bat form survivors get exhausted and slowed and slowly losing health maybe. At least that is my idea.

I think I'm looking for more single player stuff right now. Multiplayer is always competetive and stressful for me (unless it's like co-op only)

Maybe you should play games like simulators which I found them nice like shop simulator and etc...

  • Why people are complain about this build is beyond me. I always use this build before it was released from Twitter. I am glad BHVR Team did a great job and share it with my survivor buddies. This build is really "OP" and I think there should be a nerf for that.

Note: I need to write this because I see some people cant understand what is joke or not in this forum. This was written as a joke and does not contain any reality.

  • What kind of game have you in mind? I mean what genre or type you are mostly interested at? Is it have to be online or single is open to you. If you gave that indromation I can give you some advice.

This seems okay. Do survivors get the adept achievements when a killer dc's though? I can't remember.

Yes they can because they all counted as escaped. Even do you remember archive challenges like "Survive while X person escaped". It also counts to them as well if the killer DC'ed. So overall the system call that as an escape and survivor will get their achievement.

  • Same thing occured to me but my game does not freezed and instantly the "No connection" error popped. I think it occurs some of us because one of the guy also wrote similar thing to my topic. Are you also enter the DBD from Steam? Maybe it was Steam related because after I try to reopen the game steam gave me an error. I closed the steam and open again to fix that problem.

  • I already have hard time to hear most of the voices so with the music it would be even harder. So I prefer not to listen music while playing.

  • jtbk5iub3qp21.jpg

Here is the real hottie for you all. Now you all can go to horny jail.

  • I was a Dead Hard user but when I used to learn Sprint Burst I never go back to DH. First of all you can close distances easily with Sprint and you can bait the killer come close to you then you can escape instantly. Plus many smart killers are wait or do a fake attack so that you can use your DH before the necessary time but not all of them have a great play againts Sprint Burst.

  • So a regular day in DBD huh. Well solo affects your experience I see but the killers no matter what will do the same. If they tunnell you first they will tunnel you so bad luck I guess. You need to find some good teammates from solo or do my tactic play killer and ask the good survivors to team up. Trust me the best way to see a survivor is to play againts him.

  • Well during one of my matches I found that randomly. It usually spawns where totems spawns and yes you can assume it is as big as a totem. Check the corners of the objects and normal totem spawns and you would probably find our little dude.

  • To be honest it does not affect me that big. I was rank 3 killer and rank 4 survivor now I am rank 6 killer(was 8 with rank reset) and still rank 4 (was 6 with rank reset). I am glad it does not affect me that much. But I heard it damaged many people and I am sorry for them and I hope BHVR will fix it soon.

I had a game last week with a Bill wearing the entire outfit (even the level 70 chest). Is buying tiers a thing, because I can't see how they got that far otherwise?

With Golden Shards if you open the Premium you can buy tiers per round. That is why you probably see someone like that.

  • Well this game has many bugs and exploits. If the survivors that do it aware of it then yes you can call it exploit since what they do is out of the game mechanic but I dont think something will happen to them. In Macmillian I saw people climb up to rocks to stop loops and etc.. so there are problems like that. You did the right thing by reporting this problem however you should open a discussion at the Bug Section. You should write this to there so that the Devs can see it as a bug.

  • Well I am playing on PC and same things happens to me but instead of fully kicking me it usually kicks me to the enter of the game and said "No network Connection" however I got a network connection. I wrote to the techinal issues about this problem and they said they knew about this problem and they are gonna fix it but dont have an exact date. The problem is I recieve bans because of that and to be honest I dont like that cause it is not my problem and BHVR knows there is a problem like that. I think they should remove the ban timers until this problem is fixed because it is not fair to people like us to recieve that.

  • Well it is a synchronization error not about hitboxes. When killer have high ping(Same can apply survivor) they can hit you from different angle becasue of their latency. Actually he was aimed you before and sent his hatches but due to his ping you did get damaged later. If you were the one that has the problem he probaly wouldnt hit you at the straight empty place so it is all about the latency and synchronization

  • It says unlock 6 chests not loot 6 chests so rummage does not count because at that perk you are finding item from the opened chest. You should be the one to open the chest.

    1. I am in the U.S. and midday or lateday. 2. My code is Cecilia#fd4b

I couldnt find you can you add me from steam. 300757037 is my steam friend code and my name is same at Steam as well

  • Well what timeline are you in and when you are playing. You can add me from Steam I usually play with people that I met during my matches. We are not that dedicated ones but we are fine if you wanted to.

  • @gibblywibblywoo said:

You can play however you want as Clevite said, personally when I stopped caring about winning and balance and all that a few months ago the game became a lot more enjoyable.

I've had a rule for a few years now, never double hook a survivor if I can help it, DS or no. I just think it makes the match more enjoyable for both sides. I'm aware that most survivors won't play "fair" in the same way but thats to be expected.

Having been on the recieving end of it for hundreds of matches over multiple years it can be so boring and just makes me want to play a different game. I think its healthier to ignore the pip systems and set a personal goal.

7-8 hooks per game or something, don't worry about kills and camping/tunneling and its a lot more chilled out and enjoyable.

You and me thinking same. I also play for chill nowadays unless they made me pissed. For the post admin my advice is just play your game as you see fit. Rank does not mean anything in this game. I saw some green ranks play better than red ones. It is not about your rank or etc... Just have fun in your game. For me personally having fun means playing clear and fair. I enjoy giving chance to other side no matter what. Otherwise game just turn into eliminating target X game which I dont like as well.

  • Night time especially at weekends the SWF groups are more due to free times and no matter what at nights people are playing with their friends so it will make the matchmaking unbalanced because there are many survivors but enough killer players for that. My advice is try to play survivor or killer at morning and at night be ready to face with any absurd kind of ranking system. If possible try to play at morning times which is more balanced than at night.

  • Definitielly a hacker. There is no way she could have escaped without any exploits. You can sent the game video and the screenshot of yours to BHVR.

  • I am gonna say most of them. You will be suprised sometimes how easy to rank up in this game. Just today we are facing againts a Wraith which used NOED to win the game as rank 1 killer. He was bad at chases and he couldnt hang any of us until Noed activated. Most of the killer are nowadays proxy camping, facecamping or tunneling to get that the win because it is easier. If you try to play fair in many cases you will lose as killer if you dont have the proper killer, map and the perks. So most of them are playing dirty to guarentee their wins. I know it is sad but that is what happens in that game and it will be going like that sadly.

  • You know my advice. Jus play your game as you see fit. You can win or lose it does not matter. Just play your game and ignore all the factors like gens, speeds, SWF and etc... When you dont think about them you will see that you are playing better and you are having more fun. People always enjoy bullying each other and likes insults. If you win you will be insulted and if you lose you will be insulted. Just ignore the people and play your game. At the end chat dont even read it most of the time and either writes "GG or ggs" or write nothing and skip. Dont spent your time to fight with them and spent your time with them. Just get your killer, play your game and you will be fine. That is all the advice I can give you.

  • Wraith is now fast I can agree with that but he is not borderline op. I think the reason you think like is that many people start to play Wraith nowadays and even good killer mains start to play him a lot. I saw many videos about Wraiths and etc... He is popular after his new buff. Before his buff he was not a popular one but now I saw Wraiths at my matches and even I start to play Wraith a lot. He is fast yes but there are many ways you can counter him. After his power he is just a M1 killer and you can use some loops and pallets againts him and stall his time. Use jungle-gyms and windows more and you will see that he had a hard time. After he is uncloaked he had a speed boost so a straight line or some pallets wont save you but a good jungle-gyms and windows can and you will steal his time.

  • Well they did already something similar like that. After the new patch you can only carry no matter what 1 iridescent head. No other add-ons will increase it is number so you will only have one shot for instadown.

  • At solo you are not selecting your teammates so you dont know who they are or what they are capable of. At solo you have to take care of yourself first and that is the most important rule. I love both solo and swf because I think you need both of them. At SWF with or without comms most of the time there is 1-2 person that is responsible of chasing and stalling the killers which gave other 2-3 members to freely do the gens. However at solo you are on your own and you have to be strong at chases, gens, saves and etc... and I think that is why solo give more experience in some content. However for teamwork experience SWF is better. So overall I love both of them.

  • It is good to see what's going on general on the forum and saw the people what they think about overall game. Only think I hate however is that there are nearly same topics each time I open like "Buff X,Nerf K, Solo Buff,SWF nerf" and etc... Other than that it is fine.

  • Many of my friends does not aware of the bug and I think they are the innocent ones however BHVR should consider 4 man army breakdown as exploits since their main goal is to abuse the glitch and it should be bannable for that.

Well here are some of your answers to see what it looks like. I hope this video will help

  • Well I never faced againts a group that is used nor a survivor that is using Breakdown as well. However I dont like the explanation of the BHVR for that saying that it is not bannable but it is a problem. They should said it should be bannable to avoid situations like that. If you say people that there is an exploit and it is not bannable, most of them will abuse it which is normal in online games. BHVR should change their statement and tell that it is bannable until fixed.

  • 1- Wraith has good with gen pressure and mobility so stay cloaked and patrol the gens.

2-When you uncloaked you will get a small speed boost. Use it to hit the survivor then cloaked again. After you did cloaked again catch the survivor that you injured and bodyblock his movement and in that time start to uncloak and hit him again.

3- He is good againts loops so during weak-mid tier loops cloak yourself and when you see the oppurtunity uncloaked and use speed boost to hit the survivor.

4- Wraith has really great add-ons which makes him powerful. I suggest you to take "All-Seeing Blood" which lets you see survivor auras within 12 meters while you are cloaked. You can check all of his add-ons from the offical wiki but he has some really good ones and use them.

5- You need perks for gen pressure and heavy damage since you can patrol gens fast and during your uncloaked you get a speed boost. Hex:Devour Hope after 3 token will insta down any survivor, so with your speed boost it is easy to hit them. Pop Goes to Weasel will regress the process of gens %20-%25 more when you hook a survivor. Play with your Food can increase your speed each time you get a chase with obsession and let him escape. Of course the classic one BBQ&Chili will grant you extra BP while let you see Survivor auras farther than 40 meter from hook.

6- You are just a M1 killer in general so try to use your power often. Without your power speed boost you can be looped easily and not a threat.

7-When you are uncloacked you will get a speed penalty which a survivor can get a distance if they are aware. Bodyblock the survivors first then start to uncloak so that they cant put a big distances. Especially bodyblock them for pallets, windows and etc... so that they cant secure themself.

8-Spine Chill will be your worts enemy. When you go to a gen to check survivors try to go there backwards or not looking the exact direction of the gen. If you do that Spine Chill will be alerted them before you came and they can escape easily

I hope this all would be help you.

  • It is a game mechanic. Devs dont see it as a problem so it will stay. I play both side and yes camping and tunneling can ruin your game as survivor but it exist. There are many things that dont like by each side. Ethically they are true or false or open to discussion but in the end it exist and everybody must accept it. It is pointless to talk about the skills of killers or survivors or "do this,do that" in that point. This mechanic is in the game and it will be in the game like many others. What you should do is accept that and play your game in that condition. There are many topics you can find about camping, tunneling and etc... and all of them ended same, the system contiune. Best thing you can do is accept it.

  • I try not to give up easily but sometimes you do. If I open the door I will just go to other side of the map as give up most of the time. If they t-bag and etc... well I will be not on my computer most of the time so they can do all silly stuffs. If you dont like it you can ignore them or hit them so that they will escape. However my advice is no matter what never give up. This game is full of suprises and sometimes it is best to keep the game going.

  • Well Spirit is one of the strongest or maybe even you can say strongest killer in the game. There is not a nerf that I heard for her and she is right now best or 2nd best at the game. I dont think they will nerf the Spirit soon or even the nerf wont hurt the overall power. So if you really wanted to play with her then buy her.

  • Corrupt intervention gave you an extra 120 secs game delay which is quite nice for slower killers or killers that need prepare. I found Corrupt Useful on ranged killers like Deathslinger,Huntress, also for stealth killers it is also useful because you can find multiple survivors at certain gens due to Corrupt many survivors tend to be doing gens together at that time. If your killer lacks mobility and pressure or if the killer needs a preparation time Corrupt is a really strong perk.

  • No they are just for achievements. They will not grant you any extra BP or reward.

  • Ok I am gonna write as short as possible and write it one by one.

1 - Look for blood not the marks. Blood is easier to track the survivor when you injure them.

2- When you hit survivors they are immune to your body collision for a short time and survivor with Iron Will can hide inside your body. So move a little bit and check your surrondings.

3- Crows can be quiet helpful and use them to track survivors. Most of the survivors will try to lose line of sight when they escape so check the animals and tight corners.

4-Sometimes after you hit them due to your camera and like I mentioned at the number 2 due to body immunity they just crouch after you hit them. Because of your camera you thought they did run but actually they were just there.

5- Noises can be your best bet. Listen to their groanings to detect where they are.

6- When you hit them instead of moving forward either move one step back or stay where you are for 1-2 secs to detect them what are they gonna do.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFuMAULbxXA

Also this is quiet a nice video that you can use and I think this will help you more than all of us.

  • It is hard but not imposibble. Some killers are easier to get adept due to their powers while the others require some lucks. Most of the time if you are doing the adept challenge burn a map offering is the best solution. Other than that I suggest you to watch other people's or streamers adept challenges. Try to get as many hook as you get and try not to finish the game early. You need all emblems so try to keep a decent match for both sides. Use the best add-ons for the killers and you are good to go.

  • Well many things have been cencored at the endgame chat. Last time I was try to write that I grabbed the survivor and it was cencored which is not making sense. I think that while they try to stop toxic behavior endgame chat, they did a sensitive program for that which cencors nearly many things.

  • During night time many people start to play and they play with their friends. Most of the night time survivors are SWF groups and that's why it is harder for solo survivors to find lobby. Number of survivor player increased during at night time. My advice is play killer at night and do survivor at morning time.

  • If you really hate the map then just stay AFK. I dont know what is the hate of Coldwind Farms but I can understand the Haddonfield. I really hate that map but still manage to play my game. Play your game for fun and try to ignore ranks, kills, hooks and endgame chats. Just play your game and ignore all other factors.

This is an idea for a default mechanic. It would be base kit.

Then yes it is perfect. Normal kicking does not mean anything at most of the cases.

  • GhostFace Dlc and I got no regrets. He is a great killer and really fun to play.

  • I love the idea however while there is Pop Goes the Weasel I dont konw how many people would prefer to use that.

i dont agree with this..at this stage of the game there are no infinites anymore...if you end up in chase in bloodlust tier 3 as a killer, you did terrible mistakes and you are just punching your head to the wall and putting bandage called Bloodlust over it

I just gave you a basic example during my past matches where I just started the game. Nowadays I dont need Bloodlust in most of my matches and I barerly saw Bloodlust notification but removing would be hurt the game. BloodLust is a factor that stops survivors to use safe-god pallets forever. While many smart and experienced survivor and killer wont do it due to their experience, the players that start the game new and does not have experience can use it and abuse the factor of no Bloodlust tier. It will make them dependent to safe pallets all the time. That is why Bloodlust should be staying. BloodLust is not a factor to reward bad plays, Tier 3 bloodlust will activated at 45 seconds and not to mention vaulting, pallet stuns and hits will stop it. If you can loop the killer that long without any interrupt trust me about that you already punish him.

  • Well bloodlust stays for stopping the infinite loops. The point of the game is sooner or later the killer will get you and that's why bloodlust exist. While you look at it as bad killer gameplay, removing it would be rewarding the lazy survivor style which just found a god loop and stay there without worrying about the Bloodlust. Moreover during one of my matches there was only 1 survivor left and he was at a god loop. It was the last survivor and I really needed that kill so I started to chase him and we looped quite a lot then my Bloodlust increased and I did finally finished my chase.

The thing is a killer that chases survivor more and more will already be punished at the match because while the killer chases the survivor, other survivors can do gens. So the killer is already punished for that behaviour actually. Other than that for the situation I gave example at the top Bloodlust can be needed to finish chases. Bloodlust is not for killers but for survivor to encourage them to move another place and not using the same loop.

1 2 3 4 … 7
